I want to thank the following in the Stateline office today. Today, 9-1-2020 I had an appointment to have a crown re attached. Jen as always is so nice greeting me. The dental assistant Jessica was so kind and caring. Had a very good sense of humor, make a dental visit so relaxing. And the their was Dr McShosh. What a professional. Again very professional but made the visit painless. The crown was re attached and off I went. It’s because of the care I receive and the friendly professional staff in am making Sierra Smiles my Dentist. So impressed and content with my initial visit. Past experiences with a few dentists in the past have left me very untrusting, anxious and full of shame when it came to dental visits. I am not a reviewer, but I know that the reviews helped me decide to give Sierra Smiles a try.The office in general was very welcoming, clean and professional. I loved the big windows in the examination rooms, you can look out at trees and squirrels while you wait. Crystal was sweet and helped get me comfortable, she explained the details of each step we went through and overall very attentive.Dr. Vong was clear, honest and I didnt feel judged. This office felt welcoming and compassionate. I am grateful and excited about Dr. Vong and the Sierra Smiles team helping me get my teeth the care I am needing. Sierra Smiles seriously makes me look forward to going to get my teeth cleaned. The office itself is beautiful and spa-like. They offer you a paraffin wax dip for your hands while you are in the dentist chair. All the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. All of their equipment is state of the art and they even have a wand that detects abnormal cells/pre-cancer in the mouth. I always feel so productive getting a clean bill of health while getting pampered at the same time when I visit Sierra Smiles. Most definitely worth 5-stars and more!

I am new to Reno and had to find a Dentist. My wife did the research and came up with Dr Bocchi. I am so happy she found him. He is a very skilled craftsmen. It’s very easy for another craftsmen to make that call. I could tell right away he was skilled with his hands. As soon as that was obvious to me, I was able to relax. He replaced a cap that had a cavity under it and the fit and feel was perfect. No rough edges, no interference and no pain afterwards. On a follow on visit, he finished the implant process on another tooth. He took impressions, sent them out to have the tooth made and then installed it in 15 minutes. It fit perfect the first time too. He is an exceptional Dentist.

They got me in for an emergency exam due to having so much pain. My tooth had to come out and they did it right then and there. I was only there an hour. AMAZING!!

Finding a good dentist is like finding gold. And this is what I have discovered at Sierra Smiles. Here is why this place is absolutely my favorite: 1) A warm welcome at the front desk -- every time, no matter what! 2) Appointments on time -- no matter what. I have been a patient for five years, and my wait times are kept to a minimum. 3) Neck pillows and paraffin hand wax offered at every visit -- to keep patients comfortable. 4) Large-screen TVs (with headsets) in every room -- helpful to drowning out those unpleasant dentistry noises! 5) A patient thank-you event once a year with giveaways and a bounce house (It rained last year and my kids loved being in a bounce house in the rain!) and 6) Last, but not least, exceptional dental care. In fact, I started taking my kids here after Sierra Smiles provided me with a lower cost estimate to fill cavities than their pediatric dentist did -- and this was using a new technique for surface cavities.You will love Summer and John, and all their dental staff, I promise.

I need some major restorative work and they’ve made me feel comfortable up to this point, I have no doubt they will continue to ensure I’m comfortable up until the completion of my treatment plan. My two front teeth are basically shells just waiting to break and I’ve babied them and am very apprehensive when it comes to even touching them, Dr. McClennan assures me every time that if something happens to them he will make sure I don’t walk out toothless until we get through the treatment plan. It’s always been difficult to find a dentist I trust & makes me feel comfortable, not to mention who accepts my insurance, I’ve found my dentist and will never change. The cherries on top are the fresh baked cookies on your way out, hot wax treatment for your hands while being worked on, and the neck pillows. I absolutely love sierra smiles! The staff, dental hygenists, and docs are all wonderful, and you get a truly relaxing and pampered experience... at a dentist office! You get to dip your hands in hot wax, put a warm neck pillow around your neck with an aromatherapy scent of your choice, and they even have headphones to watch whatever you’d like on the flat screen TV in each room. My dental hygienist is Megan, and she is AWESOME! She always listens to my questions, is patient, caring, and always makes me smile. Dr. McLennan is the doc I see, and he is GREAT! Very sweet, caring, and attentive. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

Dr. Bocchi and his staff (Kayla) are the best! From the first consult to drilling my teeth, I felt at ease. The level of attention and skill are unmatched by any other office. I never felt a pinch of pain or discomfort, not even with the anesthesia needle. Every visit is like a spa treatment with coffee, paraffin hand wax, herbal neck pillow and even cookies at the end. So I just called over there and spoke with Vicky. told her I was interested in the restorative dentistry service. I was aware that they accept most insurance but saw that they also offer payment plans with 18 month no interest, so no problem. Well after she slowlllyyyyy took down my information as I did tell her im at work and in clinic myself. I asked if there was anything else she needed from me since she went quite. To my surprise she need my credit card to reserve my appointment for 100.00. so I bluntly said, you know Vicky it would have been nice if you would have disclosed that information in the beginning of this conversation to make sure if I want to still go through the process of scheduling an appointment! Cause you know we all carry credit cards with us all day. I just hung up on this idiot

I have been going to Sierra smiles for about 5 years and have referred multiple people in that time (which I received gratis for). They have some of the best customer experience I have encountered yet. They are friendly, receptive to your needs and are continuously working to make sure those needs are met. When you first arrive the front desk receptionist is always sweet, inviting, knows you by name and gets you checked in right away without even having to step up to the desk. The hygienist seems as if she was waiting for arrival and takes you right back where you are offered a paraffin hand wax or a warm aromatherapy neck pillow which are both lovely. I have had mostly wonderful experiences with the hygienists but am most impressed with Dr. Bocchi and Dr. Chealsea Dean. They both remember details from previous interactions (even up to 6 months ago) and seem genuinely interested in the events happening in your life. I would recommend anyone to this office and will continue to be a guest for as long as I possibly can.
