Great customer service on the South Virginia St office. Friendly staff! Cleaning is easy.

Clean, quick, professional yet very personable and friendly. Thorough like crazy. Good feedback. they give a lot of specific information to each person not just general stuff that many do when you come in for a cleaning. They explain everything completely. Clean. Nice. On time.

These guys are crooks. They get you in to try and charge you for everything they can. I brought my son in for a cleaning and they didnt even clean his teeth. They just wanted to make new appointments and have procedures that werent covered at all by insurance. Yet all the things that my insurance covers they wouldnt even do. They 0 customer skills. This was the worst experience Ive ever had at any kind of business.

Thank you to everyone who was there for my dental extraction appointment the other day!! I really appreciate how they helped me with costs, that was SO AMAZING and a total life saver!! Very much appreciated. Also that they knew I was terrified and made it a very quick process once I went back there. I have been going to this office for over 4 years now and the best thing about it is Adam the hygienist! There have been many others but they don’t even need to be mention because they’re irrelevant. Adam is great at his job, very thorough and always makes sure I am comfortable. He is so funny, nice and actually makes me excited to go to the dentist! He doesn’t know this yet but we’re going to become best friends hahaHighly recommend this place just for Adam.

I have had a lot of billing problems with absolute dental. One time they sent my bill to a collection agency before sending it to me and I found out later that I should have been charge for it but I never got my money back from them. Then they Over billed me for a procedure that was covered by my insurance and I met the co-pay but they refused to provide a statement showing what the charges were and how much the insurance paid and I paid. Then again recently overcharged for teeth cleaning. It’s very hard to get an appointment you have to wait months and they hardly ever answer the phone. Also I had a denture done it took almost 6 months they had to redo it over and they couldn’t get it right.I am going to switch to a different dental plan.

Every single time I call to either to schedule an appointment or for an emergency for my son they never have anyone available! Extremely frustrating. I call and have to wait for literal hours just for them to hang up on me and I have to start all over again. Absolutely ridiculous, I do not recommend to anyone to go here.

Had an appointment at 10 am, showed up and they were running around like chickens without a head, chaotic. They kept saying they were backed up. Whats the point on making an appointment just to have to wait a while. Plus at check it we stood outside their door, wasnt warm. If they are going to have you stand outside, they should have a dedicated person to attend quickly, like every other place. Took off finding another dentist

Great staff and very nice Doctor! Definitely would recommend. Most of the staff is bilingual which is a plus for Spanish speakers.

This dental office is wonderful! All of the office staff is delightful and helpful. The doctors are also amazing! I cannot say enough great things about their hygenist, Adam- he is a hidden gem!! I have always had terrible experiences with my cleanings and Adam has changed my life. He is my new favorite person! If you are thinking of going to a new dentist or hygenist, I promise you will not be disappointed in this office.

The dentist I used was reasonable but the lack of attention and good will of the front office to help you is astonishing. Been trying to contact them for weeks and keep waiting 30 mins on the phone before I give up. When someone calls back they are completely unaware of your situation...

I had an appointment for wisdom teeth removal and literally had to walk out because they were so mean. Literally I would not give them a penny they are So disrespectful and rude.

The front staff immediately makes you feel comfortable, as well as the back staff. Very knowledgeable team as i come with a lot of questions because of how nervous i get. I recommend this location to anyone who is nervous to go to the dentist!

Had an appointment booked MONTHS in advance. Call to verify my appointment time just to be told they canceled it. Said they called to confirm my appointment but I never received a phone call. Making the appointment is confirmation of the freaking appointment. Maybe call me the night before like everyone else does? Told me theres nothing they can do at all. Waste of my time.

Dont think this has ever happened. An employee by the name of Diane just hung up on me twice because I was a little annoyed by her hanging up on me the first time... I cant believe someone would be so unprofessional. I hope she gets fired.The last time I called I was polite as possible and I still felt as if she, different lady this time, was about to hang up on me. Ive never dealt with such unprofessional receptionists.

So had a consultation done a year ago got best insurance you can have did the whole works the cleaning fillings extractions even bought the 100 dollar crest facy tooth brush they recommend too that deep cleans ... so just 5 months after I was done with all treatments my back molar chipped off I don’t have a tooth under it so broke all on its own it doesn’t touch any other tooth so went back in to see why my tooth is chipped from the area they drilled for filling it chipped at my gum line now they want 2000 for a root canal and a crown so if you go here you will be a ginnie pig they don’t honor their work they said they aren’t responsible for my teeth after I leave their office so be prepared to be trial and error all they offered me was 170 refund for the cash but not for the 600 my insurance paid I had the filling done in March and my tooth chipped five months later in August so I highly recommend any other dentist for sure ...

I lost job to go to the place after 3 months appointment when I come the doctor not available, I had a emergency last week I bring the emergency paper to them they dont want me to see the doctor .that place its stupid place for people come .I will ask them to send me my money back

For my first deep clean experience at this location, it was great! Marsha numbed my teeth at the right spots and cleaned my teeth while Amanda assisted her. Both ladies, had a great attitude and sense of humor. Things went very smooth for me and I really dont like dentist. Im going again next week and Im sure Ill have another great experience.

Was a very good comfortable place

I had to get a deep cleaning today and was afraid of having my whole mouth numb. Marsha and Amanda were super nice and understanding. Marsha did one side first then went to the other. She made sure I was comfortable and did an amazing job. Shes very good at what she does and very accommodating.

Customer service is lacking terribly in this office! We had an appointment at 7am. We were there early, only to be told our appointment was canceled. The front office girls said they called and left a message that the appointment was cancelled but that was a lie. The staff was unhelpful and quite rude anytime there was contact. We will never go back to this office, ever!

Great first visit. My young daughter was happy with the way staff treated her, as was I. Staff were all pleasant and friendly. The classic rock was an added bonus. We think we finally found a provider we can stick with. We look forward to continuing with our treatment plans.

Absolute waste of my time,my insurance recommended me and you guys attended me and gave me an appointment, just to tell me theres nothing you guys can do when I came in with my reference the first time and nothing was told to me. Im a banquet chef and have literally 0 time for myself so thank you guys for a wasted day.

I will have to say this place has very friendly employees. Cant say anything bad about the employees. Only bad thing is the price. Ive been coming to absolute dental for all my cleanings and I was planning on getting braces. This was going to set me back about $10,000 my insurance would cover about $2,500 so Im left with about $7000 to pay. So after a friend recommended going to Smile restore I was think why not lets get a 2ed opinion. After checking smile restore out and finding out that total before insurance would be $2,500 I was speechless. After that all I told the Dr is lets get started. My insurance was able to cover most I only had to pay about $200 and now one year latter I now have a perfect smile very happy and only $200. Like I mentioned like everyone at Absolute dental but I will never go there again. I dont want to over pay for the same service.

This place was the worst experiance i have ever had. I got a wisdom tooth pulled and not only did the guy not numb me enough but i felt his pulling and breaking my tooth. Then after it was done they give you nothing for the pain blood was all over and i have been in the worse pain and my face swollen. I will never go back here.

She did work on my 9 year daughter. She was very caring and understanding to her needs. My daughter seemed to have no pain during the process. I would recommend her any one with young kids...shes awesome!!

This office is fantastic it is clean and the staff is amazing and very professional all of the assistant are educated and work well, the doctor is passionate and explains the treatment needed and who it needs to be done. I am very happy with my experience here and this office. Front staff was welcoming and smiling.

These ladies are so nice, my experience with them have been great. They are very friendly and knowledgable about their craft. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, I forgot my appointment time and came in early, instead of making me come back they found a way to fit me and did a wonderful job. No pain, no discomfort, and absolute no secrets. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to find a honest, warm welcoming staff whos has amazing professional staff, that will go out of their way to make you happy, and feel like their favorite patient.

Everyone at this office was kind and professional. Crystal did a deep cleaning for me, which isnt all that fun of a procedure, but she made me comfortable the whole time. She was personable and funny and made me feel very relaxed. I highly recommend the Absolute Dental office in south Reno. They will take great care of you!

Lisa W. and Dr. Askins are the best! They came in from another office late on a Friday night to help my daughter who had just got braces. They truly cared about her, and didnt want her to be in pain all weekend or more. They did not have to, but it just shows what good people they are. I am so grateful to them. The rest of the orthodontic staff are very nice also. Braces Im sure are no fun, but my daughters like these people and they make it as easy for my kids as they can. Thumbs up!

If I could rate a zero I would. Came in from a referral to get all four wisdom teeth extracted got all the paper work done outside, waiting out there for 40 minutes all for them to tell me when I turn the paper work that they can’t even see me because first off they don’t have an oral surgeon and my insurance needs to approve it first which I had already done.to top it off I had informed them about the referral of the teeth extraction on the phone prior to my appointment and they said to bring in that referral. I wasted my time with something they couldn’t told me on the phone or right off the bat When I got there. I’m still in a lot of pain. Customer service what horrible like they could give two s*** about me as a patient. Front desk people should reconsider their job if you aren’t happy find something else instead of taking it out on patient. I knocked on door to turn in paper work and one of the assistants just rolled her eyes like im sorry it’s not my fault the door is locked due to covid-19 adding more procedures to your job. Overall Thank you absolute dental!

I am actually writing this review for the new Carson City office with Dr Wilson,Dr Wilson is an absolutely amazing Dentist for children! He is so gentle and precise, my children love him.. he has found and fixed many problems in my daughter mouth that were caused by her old dentist that we had no idea about. The staff is also incredible! Such kind people! I highly recommend this office! So glad they came to Carson we needed a good pediatric dentist! :)

This office is literally the best dentist I have ever been to. Eileen and her staff are far more than just employees, they make you comfortable about your visit and never pressure you into any work. Every time I go in I feel like I am the only patient there and my appointment is their only concern. Ill definetly be referring ALL my friends and family there!

My experience here at Absolute Dental has been the best dental experience ive ever had hands down. Front desk were prompt and polite over the phone and in office. I was in and had tooth completely pain free and comfortable and headed out the door in an hour!! Im between insurance plans, so going here is cheaper than any other dental offices, although of course all dental work adds up.I paid $39 for x-rays and initial exam, and then another $100 to sign up for smilesavers that cuts the rest of their prices in half. Then a cleaning was $60 and a root canal was $1200, plus another $1300 for the crown. Compare that with the cash prices anywhere else...Adam is a great hygenist, very personable and knows what hes doing.The endodontist comes in every other week and sees as many patients as he can, so dont expect to make friends: in, root canal, out. Youll be waiting for him, not the other way around. Good work though.Dr. Pham did a good job on my crown, although Ive had some done faster. He explained everything in advance carefully, made very sure I knew what I was getting and what I was paying.This will be much easier once I have insurance... I probably will stay with them rather than go back to a more expensive office.

Was given a retainer that fit loose, i asked for another one because i noticed my front teeth were shifting. i was told i was going to get a different one that they could adjust so my teeth could straighten back up again, when i went to my appointment they said there was nothing that they could do. there was no point in paying for the braces if my teeth still aren’t straight whatsoever

I have been to multiple dentist offices trying to find the right one for not only myself but my kids. This is by far the best one. I had an amazing experience. I got my wisdom teeth pulled here and the workers were really nice. I hate the dentist as much as the next person but i really dont mind going if its at this office.

This place is amazing and I strongly suggest to go to this dentist office anytime. There is an assistant name Anna and she gives the best suggestions and she cares a lot she is an amazing person she needs a million stars with her name for the work that she does.

I had a bridge done back in January 2013 and it is still in excellence shape with no issues.

I have been coming here for a few years now, I have had regular cleanings, Zoom whitening, and Veneers that gave me the Hollywood smile I always wanted. Staff and the Doctor have always been polite and accommodating. Office is a little dated but is clean and well decorated.

Would definitely recommend this location based on the staff alone! Specifically Eileen. I broke my bridge over the weekend & I messaged them. They said if they were in town they would fix it right now. They told me to come in Monday at any time & theyll fix my broken temporary bridge. Not only did I go after work, but they stayed after hours to fix my temporary bridge. This fits so nice in my mouth! I will say if I had a previous experience like this I wouldnt typically return. The staff here is what makes this place the best dental office in Reno! Thank you for staying overtime and making me feel comfortable!

This place is an absolute joke! Absolutely the worst! The first day I went in, all I wanted was an extraction, they refused and said they would have to do a crown. I had a temporary put on since it takes them a ridiculous four weeks to get the crown, what a joke!? Since then a week following the first procedure the temporary fell out, I called and was told resetting the temp should only take 30 minutes, I was there an hour and they had to replace the whole thing, since the first one was done wrong. If wasting my time wasnt bad enough the man who did the first temp threw a hissy to the new lady creating the new temp. Now two days since I have had that newest one put in and it came out today. And mind you the oh so polite women at the front desk have not failed to remind me that my remaining balance is due when they put the real crown in. This place is an absolute joke! The dentists English isnt very good and the women at the front desk have no respect for privacy. Do not go there for their great deals you get what you pay for, or even anticipate to pay for. There is absolutely nothing positive I have to say about Absolute Dental aside from their couches in the waiting room are comfortable. Not to mention they dont bill your insurance the full amount of your quote so not only are they the most unprofessional group of people I have ever dealt with they are scamming tons of people out of their hard earned money for their free teeth whitening. Do yourself and your family a favor and go somewhere else, as soon as I get reimbursed for my over payment I sure am.

Place is a joke. Wanted 10grand to fix everything wrong with my mouth(no insurance). Said i needed root canal treatment on 2 teeth and a whole bunch of other bs. I went and got 2 other opinions first. Both never said i needed root canal treatment. A Dentist filled both teeth with a basic filling and no issues since than. Also this place is double what you will pay somewhere else. I took the paper that explained everything that they recommended and prices to 2 other dentists and they both quoted me around 6 grand when absolute wanted a bit over 10grand.

My sister called and was able to be seen today on a Saturday 9/15/2018.She called on the Tuesday before. She explained she needed a tooth extraction, they set her appointment for today.They accepted her insurance or so she thought. She was called last night after hours. And they told her she had a copay of 39.00 which was fine .Until they got her in the back room in the chair after 45 minutes of waiting after her scheduled appt at 11:00am. They then proceeded to tell her oh! This will be 440.00 for the tooth to be pulled. After all the people who had seen her tooth and said yes it needs pulled. Then turn around and say 440.00 please. While she is sitting in dental chair.I WOULD NOT BRING MY DOG HERE.TO TOP IT OFF. SHE GAVE THEM 40.00 FOR HER 39.00 COPAY AND WAS TOLD THEY DIDNT HAVE 1 FRIGGEN DOLLAR FOR CHANGE.

I walked in for my appointment and Kim at the front desk was all smiles. Friendly staff helps sooth nerves. Then Xochil called me back. She was so sweet and kind, yet confident and knowledgeable. Lastly, Dr. Hock. He has a great chairside manner! He is always explaining everything that is happening before he does it. And if he is not telling you what he is doing, then he is doing his very best to calm your nerves by telling you everything is going great. I had 5 teeth pulled today. I was in and out in an hour yet I did not feel like it was a rushed procedure! Great oral surgeon, great staff, and great experience!

I had 2 teeth taken out and 3 wisdom teeth and my experience with them was amazing. They were quick, and painless. Hands down best dentist Ive been to.

The staff was super friendly and more than happy to smile at my corny jokes.Ive had dental procedures through others, but none have made procedures as easy going as the staff members.My wisdom extraction went very well, no where near the horror stories that you normally hear from friends.Thank you Absolute Dental and to mostly the staff who made my procedure as pleasant as possible.Ps. The staff at absolute dental has been phenomenal!!!!! My temporary bridge broke over the weekend, so they told me to come in when I could (which would be after I got off work ) and they would fix it! They stayed after hours to fix my teeth! They do their best to help out in any/every way possible! I would definitely recommend this branch! Worst dental office Ive ever been too. The doctors seem to not know what they are doing which just makes the place so unprofessional. Just for a check up, not even a cleaning, I received a bill of $180. The manager also forces you to leave a good review so dont believe all the good reviews you read.
