The man who did my feet deserves 5 stars and all of the money I just paid ( which was jaden ) how ever I just paid damn near 300$ for a ankle to knee, armpit and arm wax a 66$ pedicure and 77$ for plain medium length nails that aren’t very good . I’m sorry there’s no way that wax costed about 200$ everything else I understand, it’s a scam . I wanted to tip the foot man 40$ and this woman took it all DO NOT GO HERE. It’s not worth it . I will continue to go to Reno nail spa it’s cheaper and they do amazingggggggg . Jaden however I will come back for . Amazing job!

I had Kenny for a pedicure and paid for the standard pedicure at $36 and it lasted maybe 20 minutes. I understand I am a guy, but the time that is used to paint nails, men should still receive a massage for that time period. He also was aggressively cutting my nails and shaving the skin with zero regard to pain. He cut my nails extremely short and they hurt badly. I would never recommend this place to anyone. In addition, I was not told a male would be doing the pedicure but once there I had no choice. Horrible, don’t go! Many better places in Reno.

I paid 60$ for an uneven French tip. The man got acrylic all over my skin around my nails and drilled it off and my finger tips are numb now since I got them done yesterday. The application was horrible and he only used one coat.

I only needed my cuticles taken care of and a clear coat. Wasn’t properly done( I was cut on one of my fingers) and the clear coat was uneven. Too overly priced for the quality. Not my place.

Saw Kenny for acrylic fill. He was nice but cut up my cuticles soooo bad to the point my thumb kept bleeding even after I left. Did not do what I asked for and my nails dont match with the design hw decided to do when it wasnt what I asked for. Have to go home and redo them myself. And try to heal from the cuts all over my fingers. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I went in a total of 3 times and the very first time was amazing, the receptionist is also so darling and nice, I got stiletto nails done which came out beautifully. I went in for a fill to find out the girl who originally did them had left :( I liked the energy so I Was ok with having a new person. Girl- my nails werent dry and peeled/ cracked when I came home. Again receptionist was amazing called me back in and fixed it. I came in again to see if I could get a replica of the very first set I had done...... I wished I hadn’t to say the very least.

I was disappointed that they did not offer kids pricing for a childs pedicure. I paid $36 for pedicure only that lasted 10 mins. For my self I chose deluxe which said $46 but was charged $51 and he did not clip my cuticle or buff my toes nails which was listed as part of the service.He was nice but not $51 worth. I asked for a tip because my toenail was broken and the lady told me to leave it like that. So very disappointed.

I got a full set and pedicure here and while my pedicure looks okay my acrylics are uneven and do not look good. I am really disappointed in my nails and now I have to keep them for however long unless I try to fix them myself which is not what I paid for. Would not recommend going here.

So i went with my mom, we got pedicures together and my mom needed a acrylic nail fill. My pedicure was okay, the lady rushed through it and my toe nail polish fell off within a day of getting my toes painted (with gel polish). The guy who did my moms nails 1. Fell asleep multie times during the pedicure, 2. Cut her big toe with the nail clippers, 3. Thought he was cutting out an ingrown nail, but really cut a very good chunk of her toenail off and my mom requested someone else to do her acrylic fill because he was so bad at the pedicure, he said let him try. So she did. He burned her with the nail drill 3 times. And cut her finger. Then made them so chunky and uneven they looked horrible. The following day, 2 of her mewly filled acrylic nails FELL OFF. Mind you these people charged her $20 each just for gel polish $100 each for our pedicures when their menu clearly stated $65 for each pedicure. Never will i go again or recommend this place to anyone i know.

They cut my mothers big toe it was bleeding all the way home. She is a diabetic and should avoid any cuts to her feet. They dont clean their equipment after each person.

The customer service is ultimately non-existent. The ladies who work at this establishment are absolutely rude. Their services are of very poor quality! As of recent one of the ladies here went as far as yelled at me because I didnt want gel polish. I highly recommend going elsewhere!

I have been going to this place a few time but these last time when I first went my nails were $55-60 dollars for my nails but here’s the kick the guy who does my nails thought he was slick and I went there 3 more times now I paid $80 dollars my last apt and I HAVE NOT gotten my nails done any differently and my nails are always the same length so tell me how the price went from my first visit $55 to $80 dollars he just kept randomly raising it like ugh be professional can’t find a good honest nail place anywhere.

I cried a little on the way home because now I have to wear them and I wasted MY money on them.. if you want fancy nails I would not recommend going here!.

Poor customer service. While my tips were being applied and cut to desired length, I noticed the llength on right thumb was longer than left, so I pointed it out and hd proceeds inyo a public tyrade. He said I was making him nervous and I should let him do his job. This was the first time I had said any thing. I said back that for him to do his job and I would pay. Didnt realuze that customer preference and looking at my own nails would make him nervous. It was very degrading. Nail lengths were not balance between hands, cut my finger when filing and I am on blood thinners. In Reno visiting my son and will never visit this place again. Overpriced as well.

They usually always have appointments available last minute which is nice. Biggest downfall of this salon is their customer service. Appointment was at 1pm but we sat and waited in our chairs with not even a greeting for about 30 minutes. Other people who showed up after us were starting their pedicures before us. Efforts put into the actual service is also very disappointing. They rush through everything and just watch tv as they do the massage. I have been here many times but I probably will not be returning after my last visit.

My girlfriend and I went for a pamper day. This was my first mani / pedi. Im a 48 year old man and never cared for the idea of getting my nails done. I have nail clippers, I can take care of my own nails. My girlfriend bugged me about my cuticles long enough, so I went with her to see what the fuss was all about. We went for the full service package. It was well worth it. I will be coming back again to get my nails done and be pamper. Guys need pamper days to.

I went there 3 days ago went to ask if they can wax my eyebrows, this one lady took me to the chair while they were laughing at me she was aggressive with turning my head to the sides, the outcome for my eyebrows were un even, I was disappointed. When I payed in card, the lady was looking at me while the screen said “ enter tip “I didn’t wanted to but I gave her 5$ I didn’t even had a chance to press the button ENTER she did it for me. Lord I was mad. I payed and put my PIN number she THEN PRESS ENTER. Her actions were just too focus on my money::// I will never go here the lady’s are somewhat rude. I understood they’re language too and they were criticizing me.

My toes turned out wonderful, and the staff was very friendly. But we had an appointment for 3 pm, got seated at 3:45 and they didnt start on our toes for atleast another 30 minutes after that. Im hoping it was just an off day for them, but it definitely wasnt an ideal experience.

This is the most classy nail spa in Reno in my opinion, they always make sure you leave happy. They accept walk-ins as well as appointments! You get what you pay for at this place! For pedicures I highly recommend going to Jaden because he always takes his time and his English is really good. For my full sets I always go to Lee or Jenny if you want fake nails, if you just want a simple gel manicure I really recommend going to Lynn she’s so good too. This place is my go to since it’s right off the highway by Whole Foods, it’s super convenient.

We loved getting pedicures, staff were friendly. It was a nice way to pamper ourselves after having been locked down here in Sacramento. We drove a long ways to get spoiled and were glad we did it.

Horrible pedicure and I ordered the Deluxe! Soaked my feet in the cool water, wrapped my legs in cold wet towels, left my toenails completely uneven some long some short some with snags. Left dirt under nail. Poked and hurt me badly with sharp tool. Truly unbelievable. Avoid this place like the plague.

1st time here, after being referred by a trusted friend and coworker. Front desk has impeccable service attention, got in and out timely. I highly recommend Lee* he was warm, inviting, funny and attentive! I will be coming here for sure💋🥰💯✊

This place is never a disappointment!! Theres never a wait, and its always very clean. Its literally the largest nail salon Ive ever been in. I was even able to get an amazing facial while my husband and daughter got pedicures!!!!!

Just went in for a polish change, will never go back. Business was dirty, person doing the polish first hit my skin with buffer causing pain, polish job was like a 6 year old did it. Not pleased 😤

Really not a great experience at all. My toe nails are all shaped different. I tried to explain they were crooked and the tech argued with me that it was straight. In fairness to him, the line is a straight line, but that straight line is at a harsh angle to my foot.The manicure is also shoddy work. The gel polish doesnt go to my nail bed nicely as I have experienced at other nail salons. It looks like I have half a week to a week of nail growth, even though they were just done today. I will not be back despite the front desk giving me a $5 gift card to say sorry.This place isnt more or less expensive than other places. So you arent saving or spending more money to go there. My advice is dont go there.In the beginning of the appointment they offered me a broken chair with no massager. (Who does that?) I told them I didnt mind waiting for a massage chair to go with the pedicure. They did let me wait. So thats a positive. But theyre massage chair sucked, and felt close to breaking and it wasnt very powerful.

Do not recommend. My nail tech rushed everything from start to finish and seemed to do the bare minimum. His work was alright, but not the quality I was looking for. I originally had them rated higher but half of my nails have the polish peeling on the sides, the nails aren’t even, there are pieces of dirt/skin stuck in the middle of the nails then painted over. The only reason they aren’t getting one star is because the paint on my toes is acceptable.

I had such a good experience as a first time customer getting a pedicure here!! Called 2 hours ahead and was seated 5 minutes after walking in. I had the opportunity of being served by Jennifer. She takes pride in her work and pays attention to every detail! I’ll definitely be coming back and scheduling specifically with her!

This is my first review thats not 5-stars. My experience today at Ocean Nails was exceptionally bad. There are many great nail establishments in Reno. I do not recommend this one.This will be my last visit to Ocean Nails. I paid $65 for a pedicure that looks like it was done by a 5 year old. Upon checking out at the end, the cashier asked me how everything was. I told her everything was good except the polish which looks rather sloppy. The cashier agreed with me and said that it didnt look very good, then went and got the manager and told him what was going on.The manager looked at my nails and proceeded to argue with me telling me it looks amazing and that its a design. Im sorry, but no one would pay to have their nails done by a professional and have the end result look like this. I attempted to explain to the manager why I thought the polish looked bad and he continued to argue with me. Rather than continuing to argue with an adult male about nail polish, I decided to pay and leave, and I will never return.Thanks, but no thanks, for the bloody looking $65 toes, Ocean Nails. I will be sure to tell everyone else I know about my experience here.

Unfortunately I did not feel relaxed at all. My pedicure was 100% rushed and was painful. Digging into toe nails while trying to get me out of the spa as fast as possible was not a good experience. I paid for a deluxe pedicure and wish I would have saved the money for a different salon. Getting a fast dry scrub and maybe a minute for the hot stones was disappointing. There are rough patches of skin over my toe and heel, and they aren’t smooth. I’m so upset that I wasted my time and money here. I wouldn’t recommend this place or visit it again.

I gave Ocean Spa 2 stars because I feel like every person who has done my nails there rushed through them and didn’t do a very good job. I’ve had to always do additional filing to my nails when I get home plus going there they always bubble and this last time my husband said to me they are missing that wow finish. I will be trying some place new next time it’s time to get them done again. And I feel like two stars is being generous.

Eric did an amazing job on my nails he took his time and made sure their were no imperfections. Very nice atmosphere ane cool hello kitty chair for littlr girls to get a pedicure. Definitely going back to Eric for my fills.

The people who work here rushed us and were awful. They were very rough when working and didnt seem to really pay attention. I paid for 3 pedicures and 1 full set manicure. I was charged $200 and my moms manicure was not cut or filed properly. 3 pedicures were done much faster than one manicure, because they rushed so much on the pedicures that it doesnt seem worth this much money. We had to wait 30 extra min for the manicure to finish. I have been in many nail salons and have never paid that much especially with such horrible service.

This was a horrible and costly experience. I came with my daughter for a girls mani/pedi and walked out paying over $200. Not only did they charge more than the listed price, they were rude and spoke poorly of other customers in front of me. They didn’t have the colors I wanted that were on their charts. Do not come here...I know we won’t be back.

My wife and i got the Deluxe pedicure. I called about 1hr before closing and was able to get in. I didnt feel like they were in a rush to get us in and out. The took time to laugh and talk with us. They had beverages for us to enjoy. The experience was awesome for me. It was my 1st time getting a pedicure. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks for the service.

I love coming here because it’s the most fancy, rich, and classy spa in Reno Nevada. It’s literally right off the highway, it’s so convenient to where I live. I love the service, the people, and the cleanliness of this spa. The pedicure wrapping is very interesting with the tubes. I’ve never been a to spa like this one before. I would Reccomend this place to all of my friends and family.

My friend and I went here 2-19-21 and the guy who started, used dirty files on me, and then switched off to someone else to do the color. She went to clean up what the guy left behind and she pulled out a dirty file too!My friend had a gentlemen who kept leaving her to do other girls nails. Very unprofessional, if youre booked then say so.

This is one of the worst manicures I have ever received. I have been looking around Reno for a decent “dip” manicure and have yet to find a good one. I left this salon with glue all over my fingers. My nails are all different shapes and length. Don’t bother making an appointment because you end up waiting for 30 minutes behind walk in clients anyways.

My best friend & I just had a pedicure here this morning. I have been here a few times before and every time, it has been a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is calming and peaceful (complete with large aquariums) and the staff are so nice!! They are efficient & good at their jobs. My feet are happy and we definitely will be back! :)

They lied! I was promised a new full set.My birthday weekend I paid $55 for a full set with gel color. 24 hours later a nails are LIFTING later one ends up FALLING off. I called immediately requesting a new full set, if ONE fell of in 1 day, THEY ALL will be falling off sooner than expected. I was told only the person who did your nails can fix it, Tommy will be in on Monday.Monday 2 hours before my appointmentIm sorry Tommy is not here today, you can come tomorrow for sure at 6.Once again, I called to confirm on now Tuesday that I was set to get a FULL set and the manager says YES YES. Tommy is here and will do it.As I arrive, the receptionist says Shes here! EVERY worker looked me and spoke in their language.I then see that Tommy IS NOT HERE.I was told if I do a color change I was going to be charged.They even tried to paint one nail a different color than the rest.They only offered to fix the one nail.Totally IGNORED my other lifting nails.Highly not recommendedHad to wait 2 days of false promises and horrible customer service.I have one shaped fresh nail and the rest will be falling off soon.Ive spent a lot of money here and the service is not worth it.

Went in to get at manicure in hoping of getting my cuticles trimmed. Got a full power set no soak no cuticles trim... Upsetting due to the fact I work out side on a loading dock so my hands get alot of wear and tear... Color was cute 6 out of my ten nails were shaped well.

The only person I will have do gel polish on my nails or toes is Jennifer. She is great, takes her time and does it correctly. I have had many others there do gel polish on my nails and everytime only lasted 2-3 days before chipping. Ask for Jennifer she is awesome!

The first time I went was nice. However the second time I went they provided very poor service. The gentleman who gave me the pedicure was not looking and cut my foot. My friend who was next to me was unhappy with how sloppy her polish was applied. They offered my husband complimentary wine with his pedicure but did not offer that to my friend nor me. I came in with my sister to get our nails done my nail tech Jayson was amazing he asked questions about what I wanted and took his time and made a suggestion since it was to late to do the look I wanted and explained why I couldnt do it at the time he got my nails to how I wanted them and kept a conversation with me even tho I was his last appointment.

I got a deluxe pedicure with my friend. We called about a half hour before coming to make sure they could fit us in. The staff was very friendly when we walked in, and gave us cold bottled water to enjoy. The pedicure chairs are very comfy! The pedicurists were very courteous, making sure that everything from the water temperature to the massage portion was to our liking. Overall, it was a very relaxing experience and I am happy with how my pedicure turned out. I would highly recommend this place. Great atmosphere, great prices, and great service. I will definitely be back!

Worst place in my life Ive gotten a pedicure. Used no oil and or even lotion and then put hot rocks on my unoiled or lotioned legs. Like they were in a extreme rush to get you in and out. Dont ever go there. Worst experience of my life. And totally over priced for what you hey and how much they didnt care and just wanted to get you in and out!!! If I could give it negative stars, I would give it a negative 10 stars!!!

I go there every two weeks to get my nails filled. I only see Sylvia. She is amazing and very friendly. She has been doing nails forever and is GREAT at what she does. I recommend her to anyone!

Absolute horrible service for the amount of money they charge. The lady had no idea what she was doing. My teenager could have done a better pedicure than that.

I have been a customer here since it opened. The waxing here is top notch and the wax is always fresh; thats a big deal-trust me. The technicians are amazing and listen to what you want. The prices are very reasonable as well. As long as I live here I shall go to this salon...

I wanted to try this salon as it is so close to my work. I decided to get a pedicure on my lunch hour & was a little nervous to see if they could finish in an hour. No need to worry, I was finished & out of there in less than 45 minutes. The staff was great & the place is very nice & relaxing. I will definitely be back!!

This is the second time I have gone there and both times I had a bad experience. The first time was bad as we made an appointment and still had to wait 30 minutes and the second time I was hoping service would change by than, but no. I came in for a fill in my second time I went to Ocean and Spa Nails and after a couple minutes of waiting (waiting time was great my second time there) I actually wanted a new set and make them coffin shaped,but the nail techs that was working on my nails pretty much declined to do that and instead did a fill. I should of gotten a new set regardless if the place is not empty or if they are a nail tech. SO NOT WORTH $40

I had a horrible experience, my nail tech did a great job on my pedicure. Then I went to get a full set of gel nails.... Thats when it went horrible, painful and long. I have had a gel manicure several times and nothing ever like this. It started normal and then he started to file my nails or more so my skin. It hurt and I committed and he said, its because I have thin cubicles... That is not the case. He continues to file the side of my nails hard and to excess to the point I bleed, not much but I shouldnt bleed at all. He had to replace the color on 6 nails because the color wouldnt stick... Or something. He had a thick accent and it was hard to understand.... Now this was all bad enough, but when I want to pay I thought I would be discounted because the experience. I was! My 85$ bill was discounted a whole 10$ when I spoke to the man at the front asking to talk to a manger about it, he said he was the manager... So I told him Im okay paying 20$ for the manicure and the original 40$ for the pedicure. But he told me that 10$ is already a huge discount.... And gave me a 5$ coupon for my next visit.. I will not be going​ again. I suggest looking for a different place to get your nails done... Of have a painful, messy maincure for 3hours

The ladies up front are extremely rude and impatient. They charge super high prices for mediocre nail job. Was picking out a color while the lady was motioning me to hurry up, I must’ve taken about 2 minutes but before I got back she went back to the front desk and got on her phone. After waiting at least 20 minutes, went over to tell her I was ready she said ok you can go sit down. I waited another 20 minutes then she came and said “you picked out a color”. She was being petty cause I wanted to choose a nice color. THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME VISITING. Will never be back.

Mani pedi done.... would not recommend at all. Asked frank to fill in the gaps between my nails and cuticles he said no because it was just my cuticle and not the nail. Asked the manager again to have it fixed. This time he came back but wasn’t happy to fix it at all. The nails themselves look horrible I’m embarrassed to even have them. They look like I’ve had them on for a week. Honestly I could have done a better job myself. My toe nail from the pedi is now red and starting to hurt. Hopefully it’s not getting infected. 100 $ for pretty much nothing. So much for trying to pamper myself. Will definitely not be going back.
