Owner named Debbie & her daughter Allison are super super rude and dominating. Debbie literally shouted on me just because i asked her the price of the service. They abuse the customer for no good reason. Being a customer we are paying them for the service that we will avail and they are not doing any charity so why and how they can shout on us. They never answer your call. So unprofessional. A big NO to this place.

The ladies who work here are so nice! Sometimes their schedule is tight and it’s hard to get in but I’m always so happy when I get to go!

I really want to like this Salon, but time and time again I just keep getting disappointed. I purchased a laser hair removal package from them a little over a year ago and I am not able to complete all of my treatments. Pre-covid twice the machine broke down while I was in the middle of treatment. Once I was switched to a machine that was so painful I almost asked to stop because I could not stand the pain. The second time the machine broke down they said they would reach out to me to reschedule, they never called me. Now they just canceled an appointment I had scheduled an hour an half before my appointment time. They left a message with no apologies or offers to reschedule. And due to limited hours I dont know if or when I will be able to get in to complete the package sessions I purchased. So not only am I dissatisfied with the customer service so far, I am out the money and will pay double for a procedure that should have been completed at least 6 months ago.

Love them. I definitely recommend laser hair removal with them. They have great prices and amazing service. Sandy is the best here. She keeps a conversation and makes you feel welcome during your appt and helps keep your mind off of whats happening with the lasers.

UPDATE: This medical spa is running great now, during covid. The manager reached out to me personally to fix the earlier problem I had. They took care of it. Whenever I go in, they take care of minor issues like pain, timing, etc. They dont make a big deal anymore about little things. They find a way to make it work. They answer the phone and call you back now! 5 stars.Previous complaint: Took 800 dollars from me for a package deal, and NEVER call me back to schedule. Goes to voicemail EVERY time I call. Been a year of trying. DONE! NOT OK! Basically -- Stole my money. Will be calling BBB to report.

I am going to this place for laser hair removal for about a year now. I love it here because staffs are friendly and nice and the place are clean and organized. Ive got good results so far and never had problems with my treatments and so far I can tell you something for sure: that you get a reasonable price with quality treatments here but I feel like I have to clarify some stuff:First, I wasnt sure myself, about paying for all my sessions upfront but each place has their own rules & you get a contract of guaranteed work for 2yrs after your treatments are done. Do you know anywhere else with such guarantee?Second, of course there might be a time when they cant return your call because theyre super busy or they are short of staff or something like that but you shouldnt judge based on only ONE bad day. These things can happen in any business.And last, for people worried about burning, its really different from one person to another & having a darker skin tone myself (which makes me more susceptible for burning), I can tell you this: you should search about what you are doing before signing up. You should know the risks of laser treatments or any other treatments before going for it. And I dont think you can find any laser place where they do NOT make you sign papers before your treatments. I have been to 4 other laser hair removal places before & didnt receive good results but here at Sugar Salon, they finally managed to meet my requirements.

Love this spot. Had a hydro facial which was lovely. I left feeling relaxed and my skin felt so soft and followed that up 2 weeks later with laser treatment for my hyper pigmentation best results for removing age spots ever. Will definitely return to this salon!!!

One stop shop, I love this place. Hair removal prices beat anywhere in town hands down. All thr staff Ive dealt with were awesome. So happy this is down the street from me.

Worst experience ever. I had to visit them for five times to figure out that their laser don’t burn my hairs. They are dark, so there was no excusion. I also had several laser treatments in the past with my doctor and I got good results in every session. I moved in Reno so I wanted to continue the treatment here. A year after I had paid for full legs and upper lip we changed the area to arms so that their laser might work, since there is no way to get your money back even if it’s their fault. And the result? They burnt me both in my arms and also I’m my upper lip, so I had to go to my doctor to fix it. I stopped going there although I had more appointments, as it was a waste of time as well as dangerous. They are not doctors, they don’t know what they do. Think twice your money and the risk.

Allison at Sugar Salon is fantastic. My husband went in to get his back waxed for the first time. Obviously waxing isnt comfortable as we woman know but her personality was awesome and she made the whole experience fun and memorable. We had great laughs and conversation, highly recommend her.

First time going today for a wax. Customer service was excellent. A gal checked me in, Courtney checked me out, (booked my next appointment)Teri did a phenomenal job waxing. She knows what she is doing and is fast and sweet. Going next week for mircobrasion facial. Cant wait.

I went for dark spot removal. After a lot of confusion I was assured that their lasers were far superior to the ipl lasers that I had in the past (which I had been very pleased with). So i paid up front for 2 sessions. But they only did one and the 2nd was some kind of facial. . I kept saying this is for dark spot removal and I was assured it was. I paid a total of 280.00. And tho the laser definatey burned me, when that healed my dark spots were the same as before. I am very disappointed and feel like I wasted my money

Skincare needs were met as well, I treated myself to cleanser and moisturizer purchases and scheduled a chemical peel and microdermabrasion for next week! Dont listen to the lies that if you didnt like the treatment or in case something happens you get your refund, those are tricks to make you buy their dealsI have been going to this salon for a while. The trouble is as soon as you pay and they make you pay in full in advance your money is gone. Here I tell you why. The owner of the salon is very rude, she actually yelled at me and she said I dont give your money back so leave my salon, all I wanted was my money back which I have the right to ask her that! No one have a right to take your money and ask you to leave without giving your treatment! She didnt say that I would never give money back in fact I recall a conversation about my bikini hair removal and I said I dont want to do it because its painful she said if anything happens we will always give money back. Thats how the owner tricked me in to getting the deals. She actually have you sign papers that for anything that happens you wouldnt be able to do anything legally. In this salon you will never get one esthetician because people leave all the time you can imagine as the attitude of the owner no one wants to stay long term in her business. My story is that they got a new machine and they burned a significant other, she developed permanent dark marks and skin sensitivity, they didnt take responsibility and didnt give her money back. So you could imagine I couldnt trust them to use that machine on me so I refused and they agreed to it at the beginning but on the day of my appointment which by the way they booked it wrong and that was the 4th time that they booked me wrong and I had to reschedule for another day because there is NO receptionist (awfully disorganized ) and they forced me to use the new machine or as the owner said leave! Who talks to clients like that! Even the slavery period ended long time ago! Its like you are in prison you have to do whatever she says because you paid in advance and she can play you around all she wants because you signed those papers. She said this is my business and even you paid I am going to choose to treat you or not and now I am telling you I wont treat you and I wont give your money! Nice way to treat your loyal clients, I must say! Basically she wanted me and my mom to discontinue our treatment, but the truth is you want us gone? give me my damn money and I make sure I would never even park in the parking lot where your salon is, in fact after going to them for couple treatments I havent seen any results. It is very simple, I am not satisfied and I wanna leave with my money I have no desire to continue going there. I paid so much money for my treatments otherwise I would never lower my level down to her to argue with her, I am a respected medical student that never got so mad and sad in public! I She said the old machine we used is dangerous and it can burn you really bad, I said if that machine was dangerous then why did you use it in your salon and sold deals for it to people! She didnt know what to say, I said I have paid and you cant refuse to not treat me or give money back and I am going to record this conversation, She realized that if that conversation was recorded it would be really bad so she forcefully kicked me out of her office. She is very aggressive who can believe a business woman could do such a thing. Not only they dont take responsibility for anything and their customer service is horrible, she is aggressive. I didnt threaten to do any harm in case if your wondering how I reacted, all I said was give my money back. As you can understand she got the money and she doesnt give a damn about the treatments. She seems very friendly at first but god help you if you have an issue with their business. As soon as you pay, your money is gone and you dont get a proper treatment. They mix up your appointments all the time and they rebook you a month or two later. They are so disorganized that you cant get a consistent appointment with them. If this salon is cheaper than other places, still not worth!
