Had a 3:30 appointment, didn’t start until 4. Wax from hot wax treatment not completely off the big toe, polish came off. Top of the nails not smoothed. Visible Ridges. Polish uneven. However, a fairly decent job with dry skin. Never had a cheese grater used on heels. Wouldn’t go back for a fix. $50 πŸ˜–

I had a client come in to remove a set of nails they received at Lucky Nails. Their acrylics had been on for a month and they couldn’t get them off. I was doing a soak off removal when I encountered issues myself. The product the salon uses is MMA acrylic and it is illegal in the US! It is also very harmful to the client. They’ve been reported to the state board and I would never recommend anybody go there.

I have been getting my nails done for over a decade. I had to stop for a minute because of financial issues. I recently went to get my nails done here, $50 for a full set BEFORE tip. Never have I ever spend more than about $40 for a full set of acrylics. And they started lifting after two days. Needless to say, I’m never coming back here. It was a waste of $50 that I’ll never get back.

Worst $80 I’ve ever spent. The job is not completed. I am so furious. When I called they told me to come down and they would fix the problem. Instead they argued with me and embarrassed me in front of other customers. This is the worst salon I’ve ever been too!

I went to get a pedicure for the first time today since I was pregnant with my now 10 month old and it was a very nice and calm experience. I didnt catch the ladies name but they were all so nice and calming and didnt rush the service! I got a pedicure and a wax all while holding my baby and both ladies were both nice to my baby and made her smile and that made me feel good. Fairly prices and didnt even take long for both services. Ill definitely be going back.

This place is so great and so clean! The ladies here are just wonderful & the guy who runs the place is always so nice. Called to get an appt and they were ready for me as soon as I got there. The environment and vibe is so relaxing & my service provider did a wonderful job with my pedicure. Parrafin was is the best and the prices are very reasonable. ☺️

The pedicure I received left me in pain for 4 days after all my nails were cut too short, down to the nail bed. During the pedicure they used a zester cooking tool instead of a clay bar to get any dry skin off. Its worth paying more to get a better quality pedicure.

They were very friendly and fast. The lady who did my toes, got a phone call on her personal cell phone in the middle of my pedicure and left. And then she scrubbed the bottom of my heel so hard, its very raw and hurts. Probably wont be back.

Personally they just made me feel like an inconvenience for coming in, I dont know if it was the day or if October was a bad month. But just short with me, no talking and left me waiting there questioning if my nails where dry, I had to check myself to see if they where and almost hurt them. Probably great to ongoing clients but not to people just randomly stopping in.

Very dissatisfied the only good thing was they took me as a walk-in and I was in and out within a decent time. I got a full set and was charged $65, in my opinion that is really high I’ve gotten my nails done for a long time and never have a paid that much for just a full set even with extreme airbrushing... but it looked good when I left so I decided not to say anything about the price I would just let it go. But the quality is horrible in less than a week two broke and the nail polish is chipping off so it looks tacky... I don’t even know the lady’s name because she didn’t tell me she didn’t really talk much however I did try to make small talk but her responses were very short ...I feel for 65 I shouldn’t have nails breaking or nail polish chipping and after less then a week... I normally get gel nails however this time I went with acrylic because it’s more stronger which is odd because when I do the gel I’ve never had them break so for the amount I paid the quality just isn’t there so I won’t be returning

I have gone here several times over the years. I am a young mom and do not always have time for myself. I have always had a great experience. I walked in and was in a hurry. No appt. or call ahead. Just in need of a quick makeover! I half expected to be turned away. They were able to take care of me in the time frame I had. My nails and eyebrows were in bad shape. They turned out awesome and they listened to what I wanted! I walked out feeling beautiful!!! Money well spent! Great Customer Service!

I am trying very hard to find a nail shop in Reno/Sparks that is any good. I tried Lucky Nails last night. When I walked in I was excited because the atmosphere was great and it was on my way home from work. When I was handed the price list I was a bit taken back because they are about $10 to $20 higher then most shops. I did not like the inconsistent pricing. For example, I wanted to get my nails just repainted not a fill which was $8. They ended up charging me and extra $10 to take my existing polish off of my nails which now made it $18. I had gotten a pedicure at the same time and they only charged me $5 to take off the existing polish off of my toes. WHY IS IT DIFFERENT? Well I asked and the manager said well you got a service for your feet didnt you? so we only charge you $5. Yes but I guess getting a service for my feet did not constitute enough service so they upcharged my nails. The bottom line is if they wanted to retain a new client who just walked in you would give the dahm $5 discount since I got my feet done anyway (considered a SERVICE) and was spending money with them. To me this is nickle and diming just to get as much as they want. Not Cool. But then again I think a lot of Reno businesss are doing this because they think we are Silicon Valley already. Their pedicure was good but a bit pricey. So put it to you this way. A gel fill was $35 (not including what ever other charges they are going to spring on you), their pedicure is $40 (again not including what ever other charges they will spring on you). You can easily walk out of there paying $90 with tip. WAY TO MUCH FOR A BI-WEEKLY SERVICE. I got to tell you, Happy Nails has been the best thus far. Their pedicures are $26, their gel fills are $28 you can actually walk out of there for $50. Means more tip for the girls.

Wish I could give them zero stars!! Do NOT waste your money and time here. And DO NOT buy gift cards...they take the money for them and then say the gift card is invalid when you go to use it!!!! Total scammers!! My mom bought three gift cards for pedicures so she could take me and my aunt for a girls day. When we went she told them UP FRONT, before we received services, that she was paying with the gift cards. After the half-assed pedicures the owner refused the gift cards stating β€œnew management”. The other lady that sold the gift card to my mom was sitting right in front of us and refused to acknowledge my mom! They charged my mom $100! So she paid $200 for three mediocre pedicures!!! She was SO RUDE about it and just smirked knowin she just ripped my poor mom off. And the salon itself was just DIRTY!

Ive been here many times its always hit or miss. The girls are very unprofessional and terrible at time management. I had made an appointment for my self and friends, and it made no difference what so ever. they acted like we just walk ins. I got a gel polish manicure and it came off the next day! Dont waste your time and money on this place. Go somewhere else.

Im a male with a spinal fusion which prevents me from reaching my toes and for the most part rely on my foot doctors visit to take care of my nails. I decided to try Lucky Nails since it is so close to my home. I approached the visit with a little trepidation considering my gender and explained that to the receptionist and she was kind enough to place me at the very end of the array of seats. Michelle took over the task and as I started to explain the limitations associated with the fusion and Type II she was all over it and explained that her mother had diabetes and she well understood the concerns, dos and donts. Michelle did a wonderful job - no pain and perfectly cut. Frankly Id never had a pedicure but considering the very low cost vs my foot doctors office and the quality of the service and the friendliness (and willingness to listen to my concerns) will make me a consistent customer. Wish Id found them a long time ago. Now if theyd put the Fishing channel on instead of Judge Judy >>>
