I have been a customer of My Nails Place for almost 2 years and absolutely love getting my acrylic nails and pedicure done by them. I struggled for years trying to find a nail spa in the South Bay who could do my pink and white acrylic nails. Thank goodness I found Stephen at My Nails Place. I am extremely picky about the look of my nails and he does them perfect every time. I would recommend My Nails Place to all my friends and clients.

Stephen does a great job on my gel manicures and everyone here is very friendly, does great work, and moves reasonably fast. Laid back and never crazy busy, which is nice. Prices are also very good given the quality. Only wish there was a TV to watch while I can’t use my hands 😁 (Update: there is now a TV!!!)

Prices are reasonable. Gel mani and pedi usually comes out pretty good. Had one that lasted 4 weeks! They also offer additional services such as facials and waxing but I cant speak on the quality of those. Best part is they are open late (7:00 PM on most days) and 7 days a week. There is also plenty of parking outside, which is a definite plus for the South Bay. It is a little bit hidden in a run down plaza and nothing to look at from the outside but a good find for good mani and pedi.

I just moved to the area and have been looking for a new nail salon. I have visited other places but was not really happy with my experience. I went to My Nails Place and loved it! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. No wait time when I went. I did a gel pedicure and my toes have never looked this nice. I think I found my new place!

I work close by and have been coming here for about a year on and off. It’s a nice salon and the artists are good. However I’ve never left entirely content and that’s what warrants the lower rating.With that said, I just went in for a full set removal (that was three weeks old) and a mani with gel polish. The woman who was serving me was entirely too rough. I’ve had a full set removed twice there and they have different methods of doing it but today it was so bad I could have done it at home. Totally damaged and ripped off too far into my natural nails. I asked her if she can use a solution or use something to edge the nail off but she kept right on in with the cuticle cutter. When filing with the hand held motor she was all over my skin. After the fact that I became stiff and uncomfortable because of her roughness I noticed how uneven the filing of my nails were. The color I chose wasn’t available. And there’s still some skin left behind from rushing the mani after cleaning the cuticles. Honestly this was a very bad experience and I was unhappy that her mannerism didn’t change after I had mentioned how uncomfortable I was; so much so that I changed from gel to regular just so I could leave quicker and I could redo it a week later. Not two minutes after leaving I ruined the regular nail polish on two fingers but didn’t care because the work was so bad. At my office now and I took off the polish and filed my own nails. Wasted time and money today.....If I were basing my rating on just this experience alone then I wouldn’t give a star at all. But I’ve had okay (never fully satisfied) experiences in the past which is why I left it at two star. Either way I really don’t think I’ll be returning. Long review, sorry!
