They are very nice people, but I cannot strongly recommend their services at this time. Repairs were slow and so I had to rely on other people for rides for the 5 or 6 weeks it was in the shop. And while they did fix some additional issues they found, unfortunately I got my car back with the exact same issue I took it in for. They kindly offered to have me return the car for a free diagnosis, which I appreciate. However, I have a busy schedule and need it serviced more quickly. Im sure things would be better if they had more people to work.
Wow, where to begin. The worst experience I’ve had at an auto shop. Over priced, slow, unprofessional just to name a few. They held my car for the better part of a year, charged me $3500 and within a month I can’t drive the car because of a repair done by this shop. When I called they offered to CHARGE FULL PRICE to diagnose THEIR MISTAKE. Where are the positive reviews coming from? I don’t understand how anyone could feel good about this shop. When I dropped my car off a disgruntled customer told me to go somewhere else but I trusted the AAA recommendation. My mistake. This shop should be avoided at all cost.Response: Im not surprised to see a misleading response framed entirely too positively especially considering the quotes I received today for the same work. I was never told the repairs would take six months and I called repeatedly during that time frame (which feels conservative but I currently have no source to cross reference). Also, the car was not fresh from an auction it had already been worked on but I need the suspension done and was referred to the shop by AAA; a random lie alluding to the ease with which whomever typing is bending the truth. After picking up the car that sat in your shop for six months I had a newly found gas leak which, if you recall, I was going to have replaced at another shop until on your recommendation I had the seal done. A seal that I was assured would last more than the month to two month period it lasted. I now have gotten quotes far lower from several shops that promise to do the work faster than 6 months without an additional period to fix issues that should of been found in the diagnostic that I was charged for initially. This is beyond ridiculous and a laughable attempt to save face. I was charged $3239.97 in total including two separate diagnostics that I have receipts for. I will most definitely not being come back here after being informed by two other mechanics that your repairs were not only insufficient but also dangerous. I will say that whomever I spoke with on the phone throughout this horrid period was very kind and it was the one redeeming quality of the shop. Now this blatant attempt to cover for up the mistakes made insisting several completely false assertions including but not limited to: that I wasnt charged for two diagnostic, that the car was just bought and towed over from an auction that I didnt reiterate the gas leak was supposed to have been fixed and that the repair kit wasnt suggest by the shop (I didnt even know the kits existed before I was told by an employee). Thank you for wishing me luck with the car; Ill be needing it after my experience at Legacy Automotive Repair. I wont be needing the warranty for your faulty patch as I now have to have the tank replaced and if I did need a warranty I would go to another AAA certified shop if at all possible. I wish the experience given to me by Legacy Automotive Repair on no one. Good day.
The staff was courteous and friendly. They were thorough and handled my appointment very quickly. I will be glad to go back to Legacy auto repair.
Good people very nice and respectful. Appreciated them taking me in quick notice. Only downside is labor cost a lot.
I recently experienced a leaking seal around the oil pan on my Ford F-250. The same issue was repaired by the dealership 25 months and 11,000 miles ago at a cost in excess of $6000. The manufacturer would not honor the warranty which they said was expired by one month. The dealership did offer the labor at their cost, however, the cost of the repair still exceeded $4000.I took my vehicle to Legacy Automotive Repair and it was repaired for about one-half of what the dealership was going to charge me. I was very pleased with the quality of the work performed by Legacy Automotive Repair. I will definitely take my vehicles there for any needed maintenance and repairs,
What a great experience. They got me in same day and fixed the issue I had with my Explorer and only charged me $20. Other places quoted me over $100. I highly recommend this place.
