Very helpful and was helpful on rescheduling an alignment appointment. When I got there for the appointment they found a part that had been installed was faulty and they notified me asap. And went the route that I had asked for. Least painful auto repair shop I have experienced.

I had a really great experience here. Kenny Martinez did an awesome job doing my oil change and letting me know what else should be fixed while doing the vehicle inspection. Very knowledgeable! Customer service was great aso!! 5/5 would recommend and I will keep coming back here for service.

Our minivan had a flat tire 40 miles out from Rapid City was towed to Corys Point S Tire. The team was very courteous when we got there and they worked worked on it immediately.The person in the red truck (manager/owner?) and sits in the office was going out for his lunch break even stopped on the roadside to check on us when we just parked outside the shop after the tire fix. He wanted to ensure that our vehicle was safe to go for our next nine hour drive. Great service! Thanks to Kris W and his entire team.

The guys are always super friendly and super reliable.Ive got a pretty lousy sleep schedule and it isnt super uncommon for me to sleep through something like an appointment, theyve always been super understanding about it.We had an exhaust issue and they looked it over and gave us a great recommendation to have it repaired as they werent comfortable tackling it.

Broke down on the highway headed from Montana to Miami. Got towed to the shop and the guys helped us out immediately and got to work right away. Was expecting at least a day or two to get the parts but they got everything going quickly and had us on the road again in several hours.Super courteous and helpful all around. Very polite and accommodating as we waited for the repairs. Job done extremely well!

We were towed by Triple A to this shop because the clip on the heater hose broke. All that was needed was the connector replaced on the hose. They wanted to flush the radiator which was not needed so my husband said no, nothing was said about coolant. The bill was $263.20. They charged 49.99 for Diag-Drivability inspection that was not needed. 125.99 for heater hose w/ connector.Hose was not needed. EPI remove & replace heater hose 60.00 .They said customer declined coolant System Bled, Topped off & flushed. Nothing was said about coolant, common sense tell you to put. Water in at least,needless to say we drove to Menards & it overheated to 260 degrees It took a full two gallons of coolant. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Signed by Pat Derby

Fantastic service! I was looking for a great mechanic in Rapid City to service my car. I had taken it to a few other places previously and they were never quite able to get it fully up to par. I It had been having some significant issues that I believed to be the wheel bearings but wasn’t sure. From the moment I dropped of my vehicle I was greeted with a smile by the gentlemen at the front desk. He listened to me as I explained the issues with the vehicle and made detailed notes. The mechanic, Trevor did a FANTASTIC job and addressed exactly the issues I brought the vehicle in for. It runs much smoother and MUCH QUIETER! I will definitely be a returning customer!

Best service within 500+ miles. Came to Rapid City for vacation and our alternator in our truck went out the second day. Ford said it was gonna take 3 weeks to get it in but Point S got it in within 10 minutes and we got our truck back within an hour.Very satisfied. Thanks again you guys!

We had a tire issue with our fifth wheel RV. The tires were only 10 months old and were purchased at a Point S business in Wyoming. Ken came out and said we had the wrong tires on it and the other tires were going to have the same issues. He showed me the proper/correct tires that should be on it. I highly recommend them.

My AC had been out for 5 days. Had an appointment at 1:00 today for a re-charge, but it ended up being the condenser. I asked if they could do the work today instead of rescheduling, figuring it was a long shot, but they pulled through! Thanks again.

Above and beyond! Traveling through rapid city and our AC went out. They went above and beyond to get us back on the road! Super friendly and nice. Wish this garage and team were back in my home town!

My suggestion is to never use this place! I am severely disappointed in the way they run their business. My truck broke down on me, on Sunday, in Custer(700+ miles away from home), and I had it towed to Cory’s. I called Monday morning to give them details. I checked back @2:30, that afternoon, and Michael told me he was just clearing the bay, to pull my truck in next. I called back a little before 6:00, and a different guy told me they never got it in. I called back @10:00, the following morning, and they said they still hadn’t. I asked him if he thought they’d be getting it in, and he told me probably not. If they would have just been upfront, and HONEST, in the first place, I would have just taken it elsewhere, instead of wasting my time, and money, being stuck in a hotel. Thankfully, I called Belly Brother’s, and had it towed there, and they promptly got it in, and fixed! Honesty is apparently not their strong suit at Cory’s. Save yourself a big mess, and just call Belly Brother’s first!Response to your response: I understand circumstances, but like I previously said…when I was told that he was “clearing the area now, and getting my truck in next”, that’s what I expected. If he didn’t have the intentions, that’s all he had to say, and I would have gladly taken my truck elsewhere. I don’t like being given the run around.

They give you recommendations for future work needed. But the staff arent pushy. Weve always been happy with the work theyve done to our vehicles.

I will not recommend this place if you have electrical problems with your car, they shouldnt even try to touch a car if they dont know what there doing this business dont like be at fault with there mistakes these guys are very rude and they like to hang up on you without trying to resolve the problem now I got a bigger problem to fix on my car thanks to this business... The family and I are traveling from Wisconsin to Arizona and our wheel bearing hub assembly went out. Stopped off here at Corys tire and they were booked for the day. But they were nice enough to squeeze us in to get us back on the road. They have a play area for our little one to keep her entertained and free popcorn and wifi to keep our older kids entertained. Everyone was super helpful and very friendly. This is by far the nicest shop Ive ever been to. Highly recommend this shop.

Been with them since I got my 1st vehicle (late october) and so far theyve been very awesome. Fair price and good customer service they actually explain stuff to you and why so and so cost this much and why this need to be looked at or replaced. Highly recommend if ur not sure of a mechanic shop to go too.

Very good service, great products, and most importantly, friendly faces. I choose to use Corys when my local Cheverolet dealership in spearfish kept trying to up-sell me on things that were not necessary at astronomical prices. Folks rely on who they take their vehicles to for service and not have to worry about getting ripped off. I found Corys to be everything I could need for my automove repairs/maintenance.

Clean, well lit, professional shop. I will be going back. They let me know everything that was wrong and broke it down with different options. Reasonable prices and pleasant employees.

Pros easy to schedule, friendly helpful staff. Price about average.Cons3 tries to align my truck. Computer says its aligned but the steering wheel is not centered. 2 different techs did their best but its still off. Dissatisfied to say the least that a wasted $100. I am going to try another shop to get it corrected.

I have gone to this location multiple times and so far have not had a good experience. I waited 4 hrs today for a scheduled oil change. I ended up having to leave my car at the shop and they called me 4 hrs later when it was finished. The charge was over $70 for an oil change. I should have just done it myself. I wont be a returning customer after today, especially if I dont have 4 hrs to spare for a routine oil change.

Upfront counter help is good. Techs do not get the full info for job or are not trained well. People make mistakes but the same mistake twice is a little unsettling. My experiance was great until I lost a tire, then charged money for something that was supposedly my fault. Got truck back. Lugs still not set to specs.I wish there had been more customer service with the issuse. Mistakes happen but was not handle with customer care in mind. Thankfully no one was hurt.

I installed a new OEM steering wheel on my vehicle and the splines on the wheel itself didnt line up with the existing OEM steering wheel. So I set up an appointment with Corys Point S and got the steering wheel straight and also helped me resolve a lost items location. The staff is respectful and polite. From my experience, they treat every vehicle as though its a showroom car. Thank you guys. Youve turned a small company into a soaring business.

I was on a road trip to the black hills and broke down in Rapid City, I called around with no luck finding an available shop until I found this place. I showed up on a Thursday right before they closed and spoke with Michael who helped work me into a tight schedule. By the time they opened the next morning they had a diagnosis and by noon I was driving out of the lot. Great service and a great experience, I would recommend anyone local or from out of town to check them out for any repair needs.

Took my f350 in for an alignment with 71000 miles on it and it drove fine steering wheel was off center due to sliding off the road on ice they replaced every part on the steering and said it needed brakes I was fine with pads as I had recently looked at the brakes It did not need rotors (I do most of my own work as I have been doing for 25 years and having been to diesel tech school and own several semi trucks ) i just did not have time...$2700.00 later they screwed me over i know better wont go back and do not recommend

We are on a cross country road trip and our check engine light came on. We spent all morning looking for someone who could work on our car and read the error code. This shop got us in right away. We know nothing about cars and they were very helpful and informative about what was wrong. They were upfront about the pricing and got us in and out as quickly as possible. We were very grateful for their helpfulness and kindness during this stressful event. We are especially thankful for Michael J. who even went as far as to talk to my dad about the cost and what was going on. Above and beyond service!

I went to Corys for an oil change, new windshield wipers, and I needed them to investigate a loud noise my car was making. The didnt replace my oil change sticker, nor refresh the oil life percentage, and told me that my car was just cold and old and thats why it was making extra noise. I didnt believe them and took my car to another shop, it turned out something was broken with my resonator making it difficult for exhaust fumes to leave my car! Im aware they specialize more in the quick fixes like tire and oil changes, but they didnt even do that right. And the windshield wipers were $25 EACH. For my own safety, I will not be returning.

Cory’s has the best customer service in the industry in this area. I always call with an impending doom sort of problem, not a lot of knowledge of what I’m speaking about and always show up late because I can’t remember how to get there even though I know “exactly” where I am going. They are always personable, fortunately do not chastise me for never being on time other than the occasional need to reschedule just because they are closing, and super about explaining a problem to me three or four times because I have no frame of reference for what I’m being told. I highly recommend them especially to people from out of the area without a regular mechanic- just because they aren’t scheduled two weeks out for an air conditioning recharge or slow leaking tire. Patient, professional and economical!*They are also AAA/CAA endorsed.

Took car in for simple oil leak.2300 dollars later: car was to be ready at 4 was after 5 when done. A lot of excuses. When drove now having brake issues that were not a problem before took car in. So going back Monday to find out why my brakes arent working all of a sudden! Wonder what excuse will be....

If you are able to get your car in by appt ( good luck), you will wait at least two hours even to have your tires rotated. They will not offer to give you a ride anywhere like back to work, they will not fix your car correctly and you will have to bring it back I promise you. I have three people in my family that have had no success with services at this place. I recommend Black Hills Tires!!

Once they have your car in the shop for a simple oil change or minor repair they find other items that need repair as a way to expand the work and inflate the bill.

I called Cory’s because I needed new tires on my MINI Countryman and received recommendations about their great service and reasonable pricing. I was not disappointed. Mike made sure I didn’t overpay for all weather tires that would meet my needs. Plus they checked the oil and air filter which I didn’t ask them to do and followed up with pricing quotes and a thorough explanation of what else needed to be done and made sure they had my approval before completing the work. The big thing is they weren’t condescending for the deferred maintenance that I was unaware needed to be done and had been missed by the previous auto shop I had been to a month prior. Will definitely return for future service needs.

Only place I buy tires or get work done on my 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500. Theyve always made me a great deal on the tires I want. Even if they have to order them. Their mechanics and techs always do a thorough job. And with the work I do and the work my truck puts in.. I never have to wonder if the repairs or services were done correctly.

Came in on time for my appointment but they didnt even pull my car into the shop until an hour later. They then gave me a list of recommended repairs including replacing all four brake pads and rotors on my car. I took my car to another shop which looked at all the things they had pointed out and found out that all I needed were front brake pads which saved me $700. Do not go here unless you are fine with the mechanics adding hundreds of dollars of unnecessary repairs to your recommendation

Super disappointed!! Called to make an appointment to get tires on my car. I called the number on the website, then I was directed to the service dept, and an answering machine picked up. Left a message Monday. Now here we are on Wednesday, with no return call. I am no longer interested in using this company for any type of vehicle maintenance.

Used to give these guys business but since they opened their new place it seems like they are just trying to make up the cost from their customers. This is after having two vehicles looked at, not worked on, because the mark up on parts was not worth it and labor is unreasonable. Went back to bargain barn and felt much more comfortable.

Was headed home to Montana and my tire pressure light came on. Im ashamed to admit that until today, I knew next to nothing about putting air in my tires. I stopped at Corys Point S Tire and Service, and Michael Jackson was awesome! He and a colleague checked my tires, aired the two back ones up for me, (there had been a huge temp drop overnight) refused any payment, and gave me a map of other stores along the way, should I have any trouble. Mediocre customer service is found often. Outstanding customer service is near impossible. BUT I found it today!!! Thank you so much! You helped this mom traveling with her two kids, feel a whole lot better about the next 6 hours on the road.

Had a blown out tire that was practically brand new so I took it there and it was under warranty. Right away they got onto it and happened to have that tire in stock there and replaced it and had it ready to go. Would recommend this place to anyone. May be a little more expensive than Walmart but definitely worth it. Excellent customer service.

I have a high mileage Pilot and it always felt squishy when I drove it. Matt fixed me all up and was very honest about what should be fixed now and what could wait a bit! Micheal, Ross, Cory, Matt,everyone there is super friendly and helpful. I also get great winter tires that don’t break the bank and they switch them out after the season ends! Couldn’t be happier with how my Pilot felt driving away from the shop today!

I was referred to by a friend about financing tires. I described to them how I live off road and how my road conditions are. They recommended the perfect tires. I havent gotten stuck on my road since lol Im a first time truck owner and theyve been super helpful with everything.

Scheduled to perform alignment. Didn’t get one, but was told I had wires sticking out of my tires and they needed to be replaced. They were getting end of life, but they didn’t didn’t have wires. Then was told my entire front end needs to be replaced, that was the upper and lower a arms, the tie rods, struts, rear shocks, and the tires totaling 5000 dollars with labor. Took pickup to another shop and was told only my right side upper controller arm and the lower needed to be replaced. The tie rods were needing to be replaced soon, the struts were just rusty. Oh yeah they wanted to replace the rack and pinion when the other shop just replaced the power steering fluid. Parts from Cory’s were almost double the price for what I paid. My repairs were a bit over 600 dollars. Awaiting a tire order from sams club and and for under 1600 dollars I will have my pickup back to normal. These guys were up selling everything they could. I remember when Cory’s tire was an honest shop when it was at the old place. This shop has a lot of bells and whistles but after being lied to about the tires and other repairs I am afraid to tell you all that this place is a pass. Do not go here. -Edwin

I went in for tires today ready to be over sold based off my prior experience other places. I didnt experience that at all. I was met with friendly and experienced service. The space inside is easy to wait in too. Popcorn, comfortable seating, phone charging stations, and Netflix! Oh, and if the affordability wasnt enough of a surprise... I also got free flat repair and tire rotation! You get a free flat repair, you get a free flat repair, everyone gets a free flat repair! I wont be wondering where Im going next time I need anything to do with tires. Thanks Corys Tires!

Strongly recommend this shop!!!!Out of 8 shops in rapid city, corys point s was the only shop able to find my tires and get them shipped within a day. Wonderful friendly environment, and worth every penny.

Got my mid muffler removed there with ease and not to much complication, also purchased a set of 4 rims there very easily and would like to thank Tony Hinsch for making that super easy. He went out of his way to find wheels we talked about that we couldn’t find at first and gave me a call about them! 5/5 for him give the man a raise! I’d recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for what they specialize in! They do a good job on their work. The rims were above a grand as expected but the muffler removal costed a high $320. Prices are high but so is the quality of the work. Would give 5 stars for the outcome and service, but maybe 3 on prices.

The customer service at this location is great. The staff is very helpful and not at all pushy on getting you to buy services you dont need. I put 4 out of 5 stars because both times Ive been there they said it would take about 45 minutes and it ended up taking about 3 hours. Other than that everything else was great.

Theyve done a lot to my vehicles, from tires to coolant systems, and more. Ive had only good experiences with the friendly staff and my vehicles ride better because of it.

Went in and scheduled a simple oil change, got there 15 minutes before my appointment and they said theyd get me right in, perfect I thought. Hour and a half goes by then they tell me they have to order something that itll be longer now. (I wouldnt of had any problems if they just told me ahead of time that itll be longer than expected). Then after 2 and a half hours of sitting there they upped the price from what they originally told me. Once they actually started working on my vehicle they had it done in no time though which is the only upside to my experience here. Not satisfied by the service leading up to it being worked on. I may let them redeem themselves in the future though.

I was in for an oil change, i live out of town now, when I got into Rapid, my jeep was making some weird noises. I called and rhey fit me in thw next morning, sadly it was a HUGE fix..once done I had another issue, brought it right back in and they fixed it. On top of that they did give me a discount on the second visit so I could get home for Christmas! Thank you so much!!!!

This was my first time getting an oil change with Corys. The service was super speedy and the employees are friendly and no-nonsense. Friendly staff, generally good service, but slower than molasses. Last time I was here for a flat repair I was told it would be an hour wait and it was 2 1/2 hours. Today I rolled in with another flat repair and was told it would be an hour. Again, 2 1/2hours! No reason a flat repair should take that long. Hire someone just to do walk in flat repairs for crying out loud. After 2 hours on the rim they drove on it instead of adding air or jacking it up and pulling the tire off- what??? Bad form guys!!
