I came in with the intent to go blonde. Holly did not dye my hair like I asked, didn’t even dye all of my hair. There was still tons of brown and rushed through my appointment. I won’t be back, I went to Planet Hair and now my hair looks amazing! There is no reason why my hair should have looked this bad. I will never be returning

Holly did an incredible job on my hair. I’ve wanted fringe bangs forever, but have always been told my cowlick will interfere and when I insist, they get cut unevenly and look ridiculous. Not only was Holly able to style and cut them perfectly, but she also offered advice on how to make them more manageable on my own, without pushing a bunch of products. The atmosphere was relaxed, prices are the best in town for great quality and skill, and the owner is very down to earth. It was the best salon experience I’ve had yet and I look forward to future visits as it’s definitely my go to from now on.

Leo Thomas Salon is AMAZING. I had long, fried hair when I went in and she was very understanding and helpful about cutting my hair for the first time in a long time. The color and cut are amazing and my hair feels like new. On top of the awesome service, the salon itself is the neatest salon I’ve ever been to. Very at-home feeling. I had never heard of this place until I saw the reviews on google. Guys. Holly is absolutely amazing! She cut 12 inches of hair off today and colored it for only $70. It was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had in a hair salon. Please support this small business; you won’t regret it!!

My 21 year old daughter who came with me said she will come here the next time she wants a color or perm for her long hair as well.I also found out that Holly offers princess parties, which you can see would be so very cool & fun for a group of little girls - there is a limo rental - and even wigs! Holly is absolutely amazing at what she does and VERY reasonably priced!!! I have naturally curly, long hair and I have had a terrible time trying to find someone who knows how to cut curly hair AND listens and does what I ask for. Holly not only listened to what I wanted, but she gave me exactly what I wanted and more!!! I also have had a hard time finding someone to do my eyebrows the way I want them since I’m trying to grow them out where they are supposed to be. She waxed them to perfection, leaving the growth I needed and wanted, but cleaning up all the strays that didn’t belong. I feel so pampered right now and I will continue to go back once a month and get pampered again over and over because she is THAT good and the prices are so reasonable, I don’t feel guilty treating myself!!! If i could give her 10 stars I would!!!

I been in Rapid City for years and by far Holly has the best salon in town. She know my hair type and she gave me great advice on how to keep my hair healthy.

I’m really disappointed. My husband called last week to set up a birthday surprise spa day. He called and called and no one returned his calls. Finally, when someone did, she texted him instead(I understand this is pretty common) and then once he responded she never got back to him. I’m a cosmologist myself and I’d be disappointed in my staff for treating potential clients this way.

This weekend I was in Rapid City for the Stock Show. I looked up salons on google and Leo Thomas came up as one of the top picks so I called Danielle Kessel was able to fit me in the same day.The salon is victorian and comfortable. They offered coffee immediately when I showed up. The best part what the haircut. I absolutely love it. Next time Im in Rapid I will definitely go there again.

Worst haircut ever! Monica was on the phone the entire time she was cutting my hair. She kept apologizing for being rude while continuing to talk to her friend from out of state who had a bad dye job. My hair was uneven and hard to brush after the cut. This place is cheap for a reason. I got my haircut back in Aug and am still suffering.

I LOVE Leo Thomas Salon! Holly is absolutely fabulous! In fact, everyone that works there is great. Just today, my daughter, who is 2, and I got our hair cut. Not only is it incredibly affordable, but they are so kid friendly! Autumn painted Graces face while I got my hair cut by Holly. It was a great experience! And...considering how squirmy a 2 year old is, Holly did a fantastic job cutting her hair and keeping her focused. :) I highly recommend this salon for hair services, hair product, and all of the other great features Leo Thomas Salon offers (i.e. massages, manis, pedis, etc.)

When ii first got there i loved the place and the woman who owned it. I went it bevause i wanted to change my hair color. From the beggining i told her i wanted the whw of my hair a different color. It took 3 hours to do this. Whe. I got home to put my hair up i had realised that she missed half of my hair. It was still the original color. When i called her up to ask her for help to fix it. She called me childish. She said i was too immature to know what i want and that is how its supposed to look. I am emberrassed at the dye job she did and honostly surprised at her response to my complaints. She seems great at first but if you dont like what she dpes to your hair. Prepare for insults and yelling..
