I have had my nails done twice and my toes done once so far. This place is great. Fast and friendly service. Cant wait to go again.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff was very nice, walk-in wait was short, and I am more than happy with my nails. They are able to do nails quickly, and they look amazing. I am from out of state but I will make it a point to get my nails done here again next time I’m in town!

So far Elegant Nails has come closest to the nail services I used to get when I lived in another state. This was my first visit and am hoping that it becomes my regular place! UPDATE: I wont be going back after my last visit (which was my 4th visit, I wasnt happy after my 3rd visit but wanted to give one more try because of an upcoming wedding) - I ended up using a small UV light my husband had to finish curing two of my nails. I had a wedding to go to (I was part of the wedding) and I actually made an effort to hide my nails instead of showing them off. I guess if you are a tourist or just really enjoy gel manicures, then any nail place in Rapid City is the place to go! I dont care for gel and they always seemed confused as to what I am asking for, even after I show them photos.

After 6 days of getting my nails done they came right off! Like there wasnt much glue added onto them. 2 of my nails were crooked. The tips were blotchy. The service was fast and unprofessional.

A little pricey 34.00 for a simple manicure with no polish ! One and done for me!

My nails are crooked, misshapen and various lengths. The nails dont go all the way to the edge of my nailbed and the nail artist left a bunch of crud under the nails. Plus, they didnt listen and gave me pink&whites instead of the white tips I wanted.

Got acrylics done by Kathy today. She was amazing and so is her work. Absolute best and favorite nails I’ve gotten yet. Will always go to her! She made my nails look so nice for my baby shower this weekend. 🥰

I highly recommend Gabby she did a beautiful job on my nails and a very good pedicure. but allowing people to talk on their cell phones obnoxiously was a little much for me it made the experience very hard to deal with. It ruins the experience for everyone else in the spa when you allow someone to talk on their phone as loud as they possibly can the entire time.

Kathy did my mani/pedi yesterday. The pedicure was nice...the massage chair and the little foot massage she did was so nice. Disappointed in myself because I let her talk me into the dip powder instead of just getting a nail strengthner to give my nails a break like I wanted. She dipped each nail directly into the powder jars and used a uv light at the end which I read is not supposed to happen and dipping into the jar instead of using a separate bowl is reason to stay away according to the article I read because its not hygienic practice. She missed a couple spots of the side of my fingernails too but still overall better than the last place I went to. After getting a fill a couple times I am going to stick to what I want which is a nail strengthener.

They are good at what they do. I prefer Tommy. Its clean in there and they stay pretty busy. Have used several different places, but I continue going here because they make you feel comfortable.

I took my mother of 80 yrs. plus myself into get a pedicure, manicure and full set of acrylic nails. The service was the best I have ever had, I have had my nails done for the past 25 yrs, and I must say I had the BEST JOB I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Kathy did better then my girl at home, and I didnt think anyone could do better then her.I HIGHLY RECOMMENDELEGANT NAILS!

Me and my wife got there probably 45 minutes before closing, the service was not so great... We could feel the rush of the ladies to just finish and get the hell out.

Excellent service but they need to listen to the customer more. If I want my pedicure with very short nails, they should just do it, rather than provide a lecture of how that could cause problems later. Hey there, its a problem now. LOL! All in all, a good salon. Just make sure you get what YOU want at those prices.

I have had my nails done for the last 15+ years and have been getting them done at Elegant Nails for the last 2-1/2 to 3 years. I absolutely LOVE going there. I have tried other nail salons (due to being given gift certificates) and feel that Elegant Nails customer service is far superior. I am very picky and they always do an incredible job! Their salon is clean and their prices are in line with all of the other nail salons in town.

I had my nails done Saturday with daughter in law. And we loved it! It was super busy but the way they handle It is awesome. They are very frendly and like to joke. They treat each person great and eager to please to give them what they want. And they do a beautiful job. Was very pleased and would recommend to everyone! The prices are the best!

I had previously gone to another nail salon about a week before I went to elegant nails because the other place messed up so bad I needed a new place. We came in yesterday for my 18th birthday and right away they got to my family. I waited a little longer because I didn’t want a pedi, which was perfectly fine, I understand how it goes. Once he started on my nails I told him exactly what the other place messed up on, and he fixed them perfectly, I don’t think I have ever gone to a nail salon and gotten my nails done so nicely. I was very pleased with my experience and definitely will be back for my next fill!!

My favorite place to get my nails done in Rapid. They always turn out gorgeous and have the newest styles. I just got mood color changing powder tips and they are by far my favorite nails ever. Definitely satisfied.

Followed the star ratings and walked in on a Saturday morning. There two other clients finishing with their pedicures but I was seated right away. Anna was my nail tech and was gracious and polite. I have had bad experiences at other places where my fingers were handled roughly and the tech either filed through my nails or cut them too short causing me to bleed. Needless to say Anna did have to tell me to relax a few times but she was quick, gentle and did a fantastic job. Will go back and highly recommend Anna.

I felt like I was rushed through and I did a cat eye design and the woman didnt even make sure it was completed correctly so my nails didnt look right because they werent the same.

Just passing through Rapid City on my way east and I really needed a pedicure so I stopped here. Its not the cleanest and I felt very rushed. I was enjoying my time reading and waiting for my nails to dry and was asked to go ahead and pay. Dude ...im trying to chill here but no i guess not. So I paid and left and messed up my nails because they were not fully dry. That was rude as hell for real.

I am so impressed with this establishment. I called asking if they had time for a mani/pedi about 45 minutes before close expecting a no. They said yes no questions asked. I went in and never once felt rushed. The technician that was helping me never once made me feel as though she was racing the clock although I wouldn’t have blamed her if she had, I knew I was pushing it. She took her time and she did a phenomenal job. Above and beyond my expectations. They closed 40 minutes late to finish my services. I can’t say enough great things about the staff here. Very professional and always going above and beyond for their clientele. I have been to near all nail salons in the Rapid area, and this place blows them all out of the water. Thank you for such a lovely experience. I will be back!

My family and I dropped in yesterday for my daughters 18th birthday. There were 3 of us who wanted mani/pedi’s and one who just needed a fill. These guys were very accommodating and spent time on each of us. We are very happy with them and will definitely be going back❤️

I just got a full set of acrylics with french polish. My nails look gorgeous and feel great. The environment and tools were clean, the service was painless (sometimes the same treatment with a rushed or inexperienced technician can be painful!). The atmosphere was what youd expect from a strip mall nail salon, as opposed to a full-service salon or spa. The prices were reasonable and posted on the wall where they are easy to review.As far as the experience goes -- it was busy (3:30 on a Friday night), but they were friendly and did a good job juggling all of the walk-ins. My service took longer than it should have (over an hour) but I had specifically come in because I was wanting some quiet me time, so I didnt mind at all. Id recommend bringing something you can listen to hands-free (a podcast, an audiobook, etc) to pass the time in between the steps of your service.

I’m going to start off by saying that I loved the color of my nails, but that’s where it ends. I was not satisfied with the results. I asked for acrylics and a short length, which I got, but the acrylic material did not reach the bed of my nails. It usually takes about three weeks to a month for my nails to grow out and go back in for a refill, but because of this my nail beds started showing a little less than a week after I got them done. I wouldn’t have minded, but I payed $50, which I’ve never paid for a set of short acrylics. Usually i pay between $35-$40 before tipping. Their prices they have on their board for acrylics did not match what the nail technician had told me. Will not be returning.

Been going here for 3 years...the owners & other employees have always treated me good, and they do an AMAZING job on my nails. I get complimented on my nails almost daily.

I have heard lots of good things about this place, but I had a pedicure on one visit and my daughters and I had a manicure on another visit and I wasnt very satisfied with either visit. Not only was I dissatisfied with the service, but it costs significantly more than I am used to paying. We had my daughters nails painted the day before her first day of school to give her a boost on the first day of a new school and she was really careful with them and they still chipped and a few came off entirely.....didnt even make it to bedtime that night. My pedicure had cold water. I told them it was way too cold, so then I had lukewarm water. And, she didnt scrub my feet at all. I dont usually review, but I didnt want anyone else to pay so much for so little.

At first I was very impressed with this place. I was from out of state and in a wedding. I went in and asked for a full acrylic set and a pedicure. I was seated after choosing my color for my toes, and got a salt scrub, lotion and a hot towel for my calves! ...without even asking... ok cool maybe they give that for everything pedicure. I made sure to say I wanted just an acrylic set, NO GEL because thats a little more expensive. Went through the full set, then had to put my nails under a light for gel nails.... I get to the front thinking maybe 70 max for what I got.90 dollars. NINTY. When I walk into an establishment, I TRUST the people there with their services. ASK if I want extras (tell me how much extra), dont just assume. Im so disappointed, I walked out feeling terrible. Not what I expected from a place with such high reviews.

Love love love the pedi that I had here! Ive had pedicures all over the country and Elegant Nails deluxe pedicure honestly beat my last $200 pedi!!! (This one was only $50!) The service was amazing and everyone was so kind and welcoming! I will for sure be going back!

I called at 9 AM and made an appointment for the same day at 2 PM. When I showed up a little before 2 PM I was instructed to pick out my color and proceed to sit in the pedicure chair and put my feet in the water. I quickly picked out my color and sat down, placed my feet in the water and waited. After sitting with my feet in the water for 25 minutes (which was getting cold at this point) and being ignored, I put my shoes and socks back on, walked over to one of the nail techs who originally greeted me and told him that I had scheduled an appointment for 2 PM and could no longer wait. He stated he had people to finish up. I told him I was leaving. He said nothing to keep me there or offer me anything for my wait. I would never go back there! Terrible customer service!

Dont go for the foot massage....the man that does the pedicures has a very long night touch:-/ Everything else was great, but Im on my feet all day and his skill doesnt cut it.

They do not know how to do dipping powder. My two girls and my nails were horribly done. It usually lasts a month its been one week and is already coming off. Plus they did not look good when they were done. They did a horrible job on all three of us.

Horrible experience... long wait even though we had an appointment, there was no warm water for our pedis, and our nails weren’t even worth what we payed for.
