Fantastic people! Made my uncle feel like a new man! We couldnt be happier. He really liked the old fashioned hot towel treatment.

Its the only place I go! They wash and condition after they cut your hair and place a hot towel over your face. They finish with a shoulder massage. They are absolutely amazing and worth the money!

I went in for a bead trim. Customer service was excellent. They were friendly and welcoming and get me in early. I sat down for a bead trim and they took off almost 3 inches off my beard bringing it to maybe an inch. The top cheeks lines wernt aligned the back side lines wernt close to be even.

Just called to get some information with the owner himself and he was extremely rude and disrespectful. Even got hung up on. Would not recommend!

I have been coming here for about a year now. Malory and Carisa have always been my go to. They are extremely professional, friendly, and no doubt care about their clients/customers. I will not take my business anywhere else as long as they are at The Man Salon. Should they leave I will follow them if possible. Nice place, friendly staff. However, the stylist that I was helped by apparently hadn’t been cutting hair for very long as she did ask for help after what she did to the side of my head. I asked for a hard part on the left side of my head and got an inch and a half gouge instead. $23.00 for me to have to part my hair over it in order to look professional at work for a while is not what I would expect from a place with skilled professional stylists. I totally understand that some people are new and still paid and tipped even after all of my coworkers that got to see this gouging said that I shouldn’t have even paid.

This was my first visit to The Man Salon and I really like the upscale atmosphere, comfortable leather chairs in the waiting area and complementary coffee. The staff was excellent and the stylist cut my hair exactly as I wanted it done. Ill definitely be back.

I recently visited Rapid City and needed to get a trim. I showed up about 5 min late to an appointment. The receptionist was on the phone. When she finally got off the phone she told me I was 6 min late and they have a strict 5 min waiting policy. She didnt let me get a hair cut at that time. Very poor customer service! Its unfortunate because in the past Ive received good hair cuts several times when I used to live in Rapid City.

Making an appointment online was very easy. I received a call the day of saying my stylist had to leave early but rescheduled for the next day. The prices were fair for what was received and my stylist Alysse did a great job on my hair. I will definitely be going back.

First let me say I was super excited to go there. I waited for months for them to reopen. My son told me they do a great job. So when I heard they were open I made my appointment. I get there, go in smiling from ear to ear. Not that they could see it through my mask lol. Got checked in at 5:55. My appointment was for 6:00. After standing in a corner for almost 30 minutes I decided to leave. To top it off, the lady at the front desk had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to reschedule. All in all, I hope you guys have better luck than me. I still need a cut and my beard took care of. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hairy and extremely disappointed.

In response to the owner: Sorry I did not include a full write-up with my initial review. I gave it 3 stars for a few reasons... first and foremost, my haircut was not great. I asked for a 1 on the sides, finger length on top. It took 2 haircuts later to undo how high the 1 went (there was zero fading and it essentially was a high-top). The second reason I gave it a 3-star was because it was just a bit overpriced for what the end result was and I thought I had read online that I would get a shampoo or a scalp massage or something but none of that happened, nor was I asked if I wanted one (even if it cost more). I had an appointment, I waited for 10-15 minutes past my appointment, then was out of the seat like 10 minutes later, max. If you are really a salon then take more pride in your haircuts. Last thing Ill add, since you asked... and this is not part of the 3-star review at all, but I would have waited for an hour if you guys sold coffee or had a free drip coffee dispenser available. That probably requires separate permits and stuff though, i dunno.

I had a excellent experience at the Man Salon. The receptionist knew me by my name and my stylist was awesome.

The man salon is a great place and at a great price for everything you get. Plus a great environment candy,peanuts, tv with comfortable leather seating not to mention arcade games for the kiddos while dad is getting his haircut. Brandi is always exceptional. She cuts both my sons hair and mine we are always satisfied. She is great with kids.

Went here this afternoon to get a haircut. Think they should hire barbers that know how to cut hair. I was hacked! Maybe Im more particular, but when sides arent blended between lower and top I have a problem.This business should concentrate on cutting hair and less on the hair wash, massage.At least my barber wore a mask because I was wearing one.

While looking for a place to get my hair cut while I was visiting Rapid I saw a review on Brooke that was less than flattering by a gentleman who sounded like he just pretty much hated life. Brooke was the only one available at the time I needed so i booked with her. I was correct about that gentleman. Brooke was fun to talk to and gave me such a good haircut i might wait to get it cut again until the next time i come to Rapid. All 5 of these stars are for Brooke. Salty old man with nothing better to do gets 1 star.

If there was a 10 star that would be my rate. Nikki cut my hair and it was pertect. Shes very professional but also hilarious and i enjoyed being in her chair. Nikki and her sidekick receptionist Carissa do an awesome job and this is why i will be back. Highly recommend!

Showed up for my 630 appointment I scheduled with the manager and they told me my name wasn’t even in their system...Frustrating to say the least.

Staff very friendly, very satisfied with my cut, reasonable price, includes a shampoo, cut, and a brief shoulder massage. All the staff wore masks and customers were required to wear masks as well, so avoid this place if you dont care for your own health or that of others during pandemic times.

I wanted a military high and tight. My barber, Brooklyn, did an excellent job. She was very detailed, made sure it was exactly what I wanted. Shampoo and massage included. Unfortunately I dont live in Rapid City, and wish my barber back home was this good.

Please fix your app or allow appointments to be booked using Google (West Main location). The man salon website is not very mobile friendly. The service is always great. Been going since it opened in Rapid City.
