I called the business looking to get my air conditioner serviced and got the craziest answer from their secretary I’ve ever heard from a business, “we’re not accepting new customers”. From one business owner to another that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard, if you’re that backlogged with work, great, hire some more techs but turning down new business is just bonkers.

I recently decided to replace my ac and furnace. Chuck did a thorough evaluation of my system and needs. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Talking with ***** was informative, nice guy. However, his claim of doing a real manual J calculation disappointed me. Cant calculate a J without asking me the R value in the walls/ceiling, U factor of windows, etc various details. Then I got a sales pitch that got a bit slimey, big change up in personality once we got down to the $$$.

Scheduled a inspection with this company and had great service from the initial phone call to set up the appointment all the way through the service itself. Chris came out and did a full inspection of the air conditioner and preformed the combustion analyzer test on the furnace. Chris was very knowledgeable and thorough. Greatest service! I bought a house ten years ago and the humidifier that was in house never seemed right and was always running water and leaked all the time. I called to have it looked and Chris came out to fix it. Thats when I decided to just get a new one. Chris was GREAT! He installed the new one, explained everything about it and it looks so perfect, compared to the old one that was installed completely wrong. I struggled for 15 years to find a HVAC company whose service I was satisfied with, so when my furnace needed replaced I did a lot of research and my first call, based on the reviews, was to Aire Serv of the Black Hills. I got other estimates, but after talking to Chuck in person, my wife and I both felt that Aire Serv was the best choice. We were not disappointed. During the install Chris took the time to answer my questions and explain the features of the new equipment, as did Chuck when he came back to do the annual check-up. And I have to give a shout-out to Danna in the office, who always answered my calls or returned them promptly, and always answered my emails. Aire Serv will be the only HVAC company I use going forward.

Everyone at Air Serv was great! The guys that diagnosed the issue explained what they were doing while they were doing it and made it very easy to understand. I ended up needing a new furnace. My furnace was about 25 years old so I knew it was a matter of time. Chuck the owner came over that afternoon and went over all my options with me. I selected all the options I wanted and the furnace was installed the next day! He also measured the rooms in the house and asked questions pertaining to any rooms that might not be heated or cooled efficiently so he could fix any issues during the install. I almost never leave reviews but I couldn’t be happier with the service from these guys. They were very clean and professional and all around great guys!

Aire Serv came to my home the same day I called to repair a malfunctioning heater on a cold day. The technician that came to our home was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. He was honest about the job and repairs needed and was up front with the cost. There were no hidden fees. He pointed out some huge safety issues that could have been harmful and potentially life threatening and worked until the job was complete to the highest quality. I know it took him longer than he probably expected but he was committed to making sure our family had a safe and well functioning heater before he left. Weve had to replace the main capacitor in our heat pump 3 times in the last 2 years. Various companies have done it previously. When our AC stopped completely 2 days ago, I wanted to get to the bottom of the issues. I called Aire Serv and Chris came out within hours! Within 5 minutes he discovered that our heat pumps motor was overheating and not only causing the entire unit to shut off but was probably the main cause of the capacitors burning out. None of the other companies I had come out to look at the issue in previous years even checked what Chris did in only minutes! Within the next hour he had a new motor that he had with him in the heat pump and we had our AC back! Aire Serv is amazing! Will definitely be using them for all HVAC issues in the future. Very timely to get a technician out to look at our A/C unit. Even when they were down a technician they were able to come out and look at our unit the same day we called! They went above and beyond to get a part that would work for us even though the company we needed to order from was going to take several days to ship it to us. Outstanding, professional, and on-time service was provided by Chris!!! He quickly and accurately performed an inspection on my air conditioning system. During the inspection he diagnosed that the refrigerant in my a/c system was overcharged by 2 lbs (Which resulted in poor a/c performance and could have resulted in the failure of the a.c compressor which is very costly to replace!!!), the fan speed setting was incorrect, and repaired and electrical wire that was damaged. He took the time to explain the hows and whys of each repair, and adjustment that was made. Air Serv should be everyones go to company for your heating and cooling needs. After a few days of trying to fix the AC ourselves, we caved in and decided to call for help! We went out for a walk after dying in our 85 degree house and saw their truck! It was a sign!
