I put a down payment on a vehicle and it was delivered to me, and the vehicle was not what I had initially expected from the advertisement, so I requested a refund of my deposit and purchased a vehicle from a different dealership. What Preston Ford neglected to mention was that they sent a letter to the state of Maryland that the vehicle I never purchased was owned by me, and now Im in debt over $200 because I never purchased insurance for a vehicle I never owned. After calling preston ford multiple times and talking to a different manager each time, I was told the situation would be handled and guess what!Just got a letter saying my wages will be garnished for the money all because Preston Ford doesnt know when a vehicle has actually been purchased.Dont go here. All they want is your money.

Saturday July 24th was my second time doing business with Preston Forn. Kenny Pittrell. Aka Kenny the Car Man. My purchase was exactly what I wanted. My husband lives the suv I got. If you are looking for a car dealership just go to Preston.
First It took months (since Oct 2020) to get an appointment for a recall. I was told numerous times that someone would be in touch with me and....nothing. Then I was told in (March 2021) that I had to wait until a rental car was free which should take about a week, and.....nothing. Finally on (May 10, 2021) I had some vacation time (Im an essential worker who has worked non stop since the pandemic began. I was able to get an appointment. I told the service advisor David Laird that my transmission was slipping into neutral when I accelerate. Everything was smooth until.....I get a call from Preston Ford West service agent David Laird and was told that my transmission was bad, and gave me a list of things wrong with it that needed to be fixed, that would cost over $1,485 to fix. When I told the agent about the TCM problem, the agent went so far and was very adamant about it not being the transmission control module (TCM). Now thats funny since the 2012-2016 Focus and Fiesta has a history of faulty TCMs. Then he tells me that the TCM had a warranty of up to 150k miles. I had just over 150k miles on my car which rendered the replacement null and void. Now within those 8 months of trying to get an appointment, I wouldve definitely made the timeframe. So I asked the agent again, was he sure it wasnt the TCM, to which he replied it is not. Well lo and behold Ive been to 2 other mechanics and they both have said its a bad TCM. I left a review on Ford Customer Viewpoint on May 20, 2021. Susan Laird a customer service rep for Preston Ford contacted me on June 16, 2021 to discuss why I left such a bad review. After I explained my experience there, and told her why would I pay $1,485 when that wouldnt fix the TCM issue? She asked me how Preston Ford could make my situation better. I told her unless they could replace my TCM then I dont know if they can. She said she would get back to me. It is now July 28, 2021 and I have yet to hear from anyone at Preston Ford. Now I am stuck with a car that Im still making payments on but cannot drive. Thanks for nothing.
I had a Great Experience working with Rick Cline to get everything in a vehicle that I wanted. He was hard working and was able to find the vehicle i wanted in a timely manner, while dealing with him out of state. Also Dakota Wilson, the salesperson who delivered the vehicle, was very thorough as well. Definitely a 5/5 experience

Everyone was so friendly & unlike some dealerships where you feel as if they just care about making a sale, here they really wanted to make us happy. Their family like environment made us feel much more comfortable than other dealerships we had gone to. When my husband went back to get the car detailed, Kenny even bought him lunch. In the end, not only did we get the family car we wanted but we also gained a great relationship with a business we will surely recommend to our friends & family.

I recently relocated to a Maryland from another state and needed my car inspected so I can register it in Maryland. Susan was on top of everything including putting an attachment on my car to hold a front license plate. I really appreciated all her efforts.
Called to see if they had a Explorer St and Explorer Platinum in stock so we could pick one to buy. They said they had 4 of each model to get us to come in. Drove all the way out and they didn’t even have one in stock!! Total waste of time! We were ready to buy!!! Went to a different dealership the next day and bought a 2020 Explorer Platinum no problem. I brought a cargo van from Preston Ford West in Randallstown on Liberty Road for my business a week and a half ago. When I test drove the vehicle the day I brought the vehicle, I didnt hear the issue I am hearing with the vehicle now because I turned the music on and had it playing when I test drove the vehicle initially to buy it. The brakes on the vehicle is making a squeaking and or singing noise when braking to come to a complete stop. I heard this noise after I purchased the vehicle later on my way home. I kept that in mind and decided to drive it a few days to see if I noticed anything else wrong with the vehicle. The brakes was the only issue. I took the vehicle to another shop outside of the dealer to look at my vehicle and they told me that the rotors appear to be worn. The shop said I needed to replace the rotors and brake pads to fix the noise issue regarding the brakes. While my brakes are fine, the rotors are not in good condition. I told the sales guy this who sold me the vehicle. He told me to bring it back and that if their was an issue that they would fix it. I took the vehicle back and not only did they lie and tell me that nothing was wrong with my vehicle as far as hearing the noise, they told me that they would not fix it. My vehicle is still under warranty. I got very upset and cursed out some people at the dealer ship. I cursed out the GM and the receptionist because of their nonchalant attitude of not even caring about my issue to really try to help me. The GM was horrible and so is the receptionist. The receptionist threw paperwork at me and didnt give me my keys back. I had to reach for my keys myself. The GM not once, tried to rectify the situation properly. The guy who test drove my vehicle to replicate the problem also lied and told the staff and GM that he heard no noise with my vehicle. After I test drove the vehicle with him a 3rd time, he lied again stating he didnt hear the noises when I was with him and we both heard it. I am upset for obvious reasons. I would never recommend this place. When you spend your money with them, they are nice. If you come back with an issue, they refuse to fix it and lie. Honestly, the only people I cared for here is sales person and the finance director.
Getting more than you asked for is always a good thing. I came in and sat with Tundee and he tried his best to get me into what I thought I really wanted which was a 2020 Ford Explorer. However, it was a little bit out of my budget.( Okay a lot o bit) But after the team at RTown Ford really broke down my options I walked away with something even better. I ended up with a 2016 Nissan Murano. I mean from the color to all the bells and whistles this car has everything. I was also comforted with the fact that the last owner of this car was a person that leased it. So you know that it was well taken care of.Also I wanted to give a big shout out to Kenny the Car Man. Trust me the slogan is true. Kenny the Car Man Can. He worked hard to get me into the new car of my dreams. Not only that the price was right. New or used this is the place to be for your next car.
Many dealerships will be your best friend before the sale, but things can change after you sign all the paperwork. Preston Ford West is the exception to that. I purchase a new Ford Ranger last week. The vehicle I wanted was at another Preston site on the eastern shore. I drove it back to Preston, then home. At home, I found out that the tire pressure was way above the rated pressure and I had driven 125 miles like that. The tire safety literature warned about the dangers of overpressure (possible catastrophic failure) and I was no longer confident that these tires would be safe. Preston West and the manager, Jerry Sink, did not hesitate and put 4 new tires on the truck. I am sure they did not have to do that, but were concerned that me (the customer) felt safe in using this new vehicle. I cant say enough about that type of customer care and service, (rare these days) and I thank Preston West and all concerned. You must first understand, this is Not your “Liberty Ford”! Rtown is a new and wholly owned car dealership. I went in contemplating an upgrade to my 2017 F150 and got a really good deal on a 2019 with lots of bells and whistles. So much, I ended up replacing my wife’s 2013 Edge for a Land Rover Sport. It was quite funny, as potential buyer came in at the exact moment we agreed to purchase it. One of those things, you needed to be there to see. By the way, my wife loves her Rover. Deals, deals, deals! Give them a try, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. First come first served as they say.

Julie A. is the most helpful individual I have encountered. I sent her a video of what was wrong with my car. Within 20 minutes she got back to me with a parts diagram and pointed out exactly what was wrong with my car, which she was exactly correct about. Ive been working on cars for 15 years, and yet she knew more than even I. You can bet that it is her performance and expeditiousness that will bring me back to Rtown ford.

Ive purchased 3 vehicles in my life prior to R Town ford. All of them were... combative experiences with the dealership pushing anything and everything, regardless of what I wanted. With R Town, they worked with me to get what I wanted, and didnt try to nickle and dime me. They were very direct and honest. This is the first dealership that I honestly trusted.I would reccomend to anyone buying to go this dealership. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming.

I had a potentially major issue with my F-150 just a few days before vacation. RTown happily squeezed me in to review the problem and informed me that the truck wouldnt be ready for my departure. However, they were able to offer a same size truck loaner and saved a last minute scramble to figure out what to do. We were able to transfer our truck equipment to the loaner and it served as the perfect stand-in for our travel/packing experience to the beach. We were very thankful that RTown was able to accommodate us. Amy and Susan were very attentive to the issue and we appreciate their efforts very much!

Meh. They use dealer paint on their vehicles. Definitely won’t be buying from them again.UPDATE: Fixed the paint blunder, but the plot thickens....Frank from RTown Ford reached out to me regarding my review about the dealer paint. He told me to bring it in and they’d take care of me. Unfortunately, around the same time my brakes starting failing. I told him my significant other and I were told the car had new brakes and tires at the time of purchase (about 8 months ago). We’ve driven less than 7,000 miles (mostly highway for weekend getaways) and there is no way new brakes will give out that fast. RTown told me they would look up the history on the vehicle to see what work was done.They were unable to find the paperwork for the vehicle. They are under new management and a new management system so they could not verify if the brakes were new or promised to be new. This was very disappointing, but they did try to make it right by offering to upgrade the brakes to ceramic pads and only charging for parts and labor. The price I was quoted still wasn’t worth it so I decided to take it to Midas.They did a great job fixing the scratches that were on the car, but it took them a full week to get around to doing it. I was told to bring it in that morning and it would be fixed by that evening, but I ended waiting at the dealership all day and driving a loaner for the week instead ( free of charge).I have mixed feelings about my service over all. I appreciate the effort but I feel the execution and communication between departments could be better. As a previous Cadillac and Infiniti owner I’ll admit I’m a bit spoiled when it comes to service so I won’t be too harsh on them, but I can’t hide the fact I’m still disappointed that they couldn’t find the paperwork and wouldn’t believe us on our word so now we have to spend $400 for something that shouldn’t need fixing for at least another 13,000 miles.If you are considering buying from here I won’t tell you to stay away. We do love our vehicle and it was low mileage for a fair price. I will encourage you to get everything in writing and a copy of all work done to your car before you sign your name on the dotted line. Yes our tires were new (an easy check), but the brakes were not and we had no way to check without taking it to a mechanic.
