This guy was amazing. Gave him my car car and he had it done fast and at a fair price. No matter what year your Volvo is bring it here he will take care of it. I like the fact you did a complete inspection and a road to insure my wife was gonna be safe and free of any issues. Also there was no up selling he fixed what was broke n that was it. Highly recommend this spot

Tim was amazing and very courteous. Such a different experience from going to the dealership for my XC90s maintenance. His prices are definitely better than the dealerships and to be honest the car feels 100 times better than every other service combined. Definitely coming back

Great experience here. Coffee and biscottis in the waiting area!But for real, he was straight to the point and didn’t try to convince me to fix my car since it had 250,000 miles and it needed an engine swap and the car is 20 years old.If I get another Volvo I know where I’m taking it.Thank you!

Traynors has excellent service at half the cost of dealership repair. I USED to take my Vo into the dealership for repair... Con after Con and BS repairs. Im glad I finally found an honest mechanic. Please beware of this place!I brought in my 2008 Volvo XC90 because it started to run rough during startup, 1st gear, reverse, and while idling.The shop (claims they) ran it thru the DTC computer... only to come back and tell me that I had to have my engine replaced — and that they’d replace the entire engine with a low-mileage engine, for $4800!Since my vehicle was running (somewhat) fine while I drove it between 20 & 60mph, I got very suspicious of this resolution — so I decided to take it to a local European auto shop, that ended up repairing my Volvo for a fraction of the cost of what Traynor’s Volvo quoted me at!I’m glad I went with my intuition on this... the other auto shop fixed my problem and reduced my stress level to boot!If you want “honest and dependable”, Traynor’s Volvo is NOT the place to find it!I hope my review will help Traynor’s to do a little internal soul-searching, and decide to grow a conscience — because, as of *now* I feel as if Traynor’s was trying to rip me off... and let me tell you, this is NOT a pleasant feeling to have!

If you have a Volvo go here. Dont get ripped off somewhere else. This guy knows what hes doing. He charges me less to change the oil in my S80 than any where else Ive been, and always had the filter.

Weve been customers of Tim Traynor for over 20 years. We moved out of the city 8 years ago. We pass many Volvo mechanics and drive over an hour to get to Traynors Volvo because he is the most honest and trustworthy mechanic we know and have ever had. The repairs on our car have been done professionally and the car is ready when he says it will be. He is always in constant contact with us to let us know what hes found wrong, what needs fixing and what doesnt ... a far cry from many mechanics that tell you, you need something fixed when you do not.We own several different makes and models of vehicles. Our regret is that Tim Traynor doesnt work on motorhomes, Jeeps or Chevys. But Tim Traynor is the auto mechanic we compare all other mechanics to. If they dont measure up, we keep looking. Weve found others that work on our other cars but truly, none of them measure up to Tim Traynor. Youll not be disappointed ... take your Volvo to Tim Traynor Volvo for your repairs!
