They have a HUGE selection of clothing, and its all organized so neatly! The clothing is always of very nice quality, and the prices are super reasonable. The downside is THEY RUIN IT ALL STAPLING MULTIPLE TAGS TO IT!! And when you go to remove them, its nearly IMPOSSIBLE to do without RIPPING or TEARING them even slightly!! I cant justify giving a business that deliberately ruins their products 5 stars.
My husband and I have had a great experience both donating and shopping. Staff is always helpful with getting us carts regardless of whether there on the buy or sell side.
Great Store. Friendly staff. busy store.Incredible things. Lots of great jewelry at a low price too.Favorite store.
Busy place and decent, clean selection. The home goods are priced pretty high though so not the place to go if you’re looking for a deal
Absolutely horrible. I will find someone else to donate to. Goods as well as monetary donations. Very ungrateful. Not helpful. Nasty attitudes.
This place was most gracious. They help him much as they can. And at times willing make exceptions. Thank you so much. God bless
I usually donate to this center. The people that I’ve met there that work there seem friendly.
I used to enjoy going to this store. The staff was friendly and interacted with customers. The items for sale were in good shape and reasonably priced. NOW, the prices are like items sold new.
Absolutely terrible! I scheduled a pick up of a donation, and they rescheduled without telling me. When I confirmed a new schedule for a time that would work for me, they did not show up. I called to reschedule and, so there was no question, I had the dispatcher read back my pick up date, phone number, address, and items being donated. I stayed home from work, and again, they did not show up. The dispatcher promised to call me back the next day at 10am. And again nothing. If youre going to donate, find another organization. This team is completely unreliable. I dont expect everyone to be perfect, but if you say youre going to do something, do it.
Fun place to browse around. Everything is well organized, but still leaves some room for treasure hunting! Very clean, friendly staff make it a great place to find a bargin.
I love the Salvation Army and how they help people. That being said I have found this store to often be over priced compared to other thrift stores in the area. A positive is the massive amount of furniture they always seem to have in stock. Ive never really had success finding cloths there though. The staff are very nice and friendly as well.
Poor selection and prices are far too high for a charity thrift store. They had a pile of oil filters that they are asking $10 for a donated Purolator oil filter that Walmart sells all day long for $4 and often times Advanced Auto will have on sale for free with an oil purchase. Basic KMart decorative dishes are kept in a locked cabinet and priced at $15 for a 4-pack of bowls. $100 for a decorative globe that Home Depot sells according to their website for...$102. $40 for a TV stand that came from Walmart, MDF is bubbling and probably wasnt any more than $40 brand new. $100 for a worn out stained and faded loveseat. Absolutely insane prices, you can tell they dont expect to actually sell anything. More of a showroom than a store in my view.
If you are looking for womens clothing bargains I wouldnt recommend coming here. The womens clothing quality and style is no good and it is pricey for what it is. They do have a large selection of furniture so if you are looking to furnish your childs apartment when they leave home, definitely stop in here. I have gotten some nice furniture pieces. Their household items seem like garage sale rejects, not much nice to find at all. Im giving it three stars for the furnishings only.
Used to be that people with little money could come here and get a great price on everyday items. A dresser, for example, for $25. Now your organization thinks it is an antique dealer with prices for a dresser at $100 and more. You proudly display exorbitant prices that you found on Ebay. $499 for this antique dresser. You have lost your way Salvation Army. You are driven by money now. What a shame.
Well, another thrift store becomes a ripoff. Retail prices on home goods. Too bad. I used to like getting good deals here but now on the hunt for a new “thrift” store without the high prices.
Definitely not thrift store prices. Used set of Christmas plates from the dollar store with original $10 price tag being sold for 5.99??
Its a hit or miss when it comes to a thrift store I enjoy coming here at least once a week I usually find what Im looking for brand name clothing at a great price I could spend hours here looking around always something new or different the book section always has something I can get into and at .50 cents a book you cant go wrong.
I really like this store. I have never ever been treated rude and when I had trouble getting a large piece home, the cashier got in touch with her neighbor with truck and together we got it to my daughters place. Yes, sometimes the prices on things can be a little high but they do a lot of good work with that money unlike a lot of other places that just pocket the profits off of donations. Ill support the Ministry.
Just bought a like-new designer bag for ONE DOLLAR.The store is pretty dirty. Housewares are pitiful. Furniture is plentiful. Clothes are reasonable.I go regularly.
Great pricing and selection however I have ended up with clothes that were damaged due to removing the STAPLES from the clothes. Using staples to attach pricing tags to fabric is not a smart practice. Unfortunately, I will not shop here until this practice of pricing clothing items is discontinued.
They say if you dont have nothing good to say then shhhhhh. So I refuse to say what happen. But know this. I want give any more. Straight to the dump
People seem nice I donated some things and I bought a quilt for $1
Thrifting is so trendy! What can beat a good thrift shop find? Yea I cant think of much either!
This store can be a tricky to get too. Tryon is an busy intersection and the actual store is a bit off the highway. But the prices seem reasonable (for now) and I love the discount days.
This Salvation Army store has a nice selection of items and is organized pretty well (for a Salvation Army). This location is a go-to for my family and I.
Great store for bargain for your home or personal use. Stretch your dollars and support a wonderful Ministry in our community.
Everybody friendly, fast and helpful just OK prices a little on high side
Nice friendly staff with a great selection of items. Had a great customer experience.
Decent prices and I usually leave with something when I stop in to browse.
I had a good experience at the store. The cashier was very polite.
I havent shopped here, instead have chosen this place as our primary donation center thats the closest to apex. This place is very busy with donations and piles up quickly during spring cleaning and holiday periods.
Decent size. Nice selection(at the time-all thrift stores change)
Purchased a bad mattress for $250.00 after being told it was new and the best one they had, now I cant sleep from the pain and springs digging in my body! I brought it in november and Ive had many sleepless night. They refuse to call me back! Pain meds just to sleep on your bed. Sleepless in Raleigh!
You can always find unique things there
Some good deals- neckties and household- but several of the clothes being sold had holes and stains.
Very well kept, helpful and friendly service, a wonderful place to drop off donations and look for bargains.
The store was clean and the people working there were exceptionally nice s
Very nice place but this is aomewhat expensive as gfar as thrift stores go.
Very large store. A little pricey, but they have sales per sticker color.
The lady that help me was very helpful she was also the cashier
OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE FOR USED STUFF!I am a Thrift store fanatic and have been in more stores throughout eastern NC than I cancount, including most of the Goodwills in Durham, Raleigh, Garner, Fayetteville, Greenville, Wilmington, Monkey Junction, as well as Salvation Army Stores in Fayetteville, Wilmington and Greenville. I have NEVER been to a thrift store where the items were as OVERPRICED as they were at the Raleigh Salvation Army Thrift Store in Garner! I was shocked! I spent some time shopping, then ended up telling them they could keep it when I got to the register and the cashier told me how much the items were. They even charge more for Mens pants than they do womens! I would not recommend this place to anyone that has to go out of their way to get there! The store is Gorgeous, but they are making their customers pay dearly for it! Save your money! Youre better off to buy new or go to Goodwill and spend half as much for the same items! I wont be back!
They price like their old stuff is looking brand new. Go to Dorcas if you want a REAL bargain, and nice people.
Not well organized. Has some good items but hard to get around the store.
Love the prices and the staff is always helpful and courteous!!
Prices r fair workers treat u good...
Nice people nice product good place but very expensive prices too be the Salvation Army Im just saying whatever happened to the two three dollar pair of slacks from the Goodwill stores these days you might as well go to the regular store
I paid sticker price for a shirt and 2 pair of pants. (6.99) each. Another lady comes after me and has 2 identicle shirts, she asks the checker if shell take 2 bucks apiece for them and she does.....I asked why I couldnt get the same deal and she just looks at me.
Good people providing a valued and loving setvice!
About your average thrift store. Go in and take a look
It’s ok. This one is higher than most. Not impressed
Got an awesome coat rack at a great price!!!
Noticed the prices have become redicously high. Doubt they stay in business unless they change their pricing of donated items.
Not much in there today. Mostly junk, no good finds this time.
Really expensive for a thrift store and when you dont have a lot of money, its out of budget. Dont buy a mattress there when for the same price you can but a brand new one, or find it cheaper at bjs
Fast and helpful. Accepts mattresses
Staff are more like I dont care Had to wait for long time when I was there to donate 3 box of books.
Not very conscious of young girls sizes 14 and 16 dresses. Have been several times and no luck.
This is hit or miss, but usually miss. The quality of items isnt great, and its kind of dingy in there.
They where very helpful all sweet ladies
Some of the items should have been thrown in the garbage. They should not be on the rack.
Great prices & service!!
The gate to donate was not open. No one helped unload a truck full of stuff.
Nice, clean, organized, nice display of items and professional acting staff
Bed pricing horrible customer service by management low quality of inventory very nasty smells like mold 😷 . Some of the mattresses that were doing it it had bed bugs.
Tons of ties! Most mens shirts were at least large though, which was unfortunate for me.
Nice place. Reasonable.
Has almost anything you are looking for. Donating here can be kind of chaotic.
You can always find a deal
Cleaner with better display of goodd
Great Deals for a great cause!
Friendly and some decent stuff
Great place for deals...
Friendly staff. They have a nice variety of items but the store is dingy.
Household Items were just as pricey is buying new from the store.
The staff seems very friendly. There are really good deals and there is a 50% off color of the day.
Friendly staff. Clothes are dated although if thats the type of donations you receive, what can you do?
Disorganized.. Not clean..too pricey on their furniture
Wonderful staff.
Awesome items for sale here
There is a lot of things to look and or purchase
I like the price of stuff.
