Just replaced my old pest control service with Cleggs. After meeting with their representative at my home, I was pleased with the services that they would offer me at a reasonable cost. I am very impressed that I can call them and talk to a real human being in a local office! And that person responds quickly to my request.

I called Cleggs last minute to help with some rodents and possible termite issues - they jumped on it! They met with my tenant at the property and were courteous and quick! Cost was comparable to others but their service and quick response was reassuring!

We’ve never had bedbugs before! Last week, our cleaning service allegedly saw and killed a bedbug on one of our beds. We panicked thinking the worst! We’d just gotten a complete house makeover with everything new. Again, we were shocked, and scared. We called Cleggs immediately using Google to find them. We had no previous knowledge of them. They came out and did a visual inspection of the whole house. They found nothing. The next day, they brought a specially trained dog and did another inspection. Again, they found nothing. The technician emphatically said, “sir, you do not have bedbugs.” We have not seen a bedbug since the one found by the cleaning company. We have no way of knowing, but we have a strong feeling that one of the cleaning people hosted a bedbug into the house. We don’t know for sure, but we concluded it would be safer to discontinue their services. We’re really grateful to Cleggs. They knew what they were doing, and they were terribly courteous. I felt fairly charged and everything. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I’m extremely happy with this company. I hired them to handle an investment property that I own out of state and they communicated with both the tenant and myself throughout the entire process. The service will take a few weeks before we can see results however the tenant advised he hadn’t seen any critters since they fumigated.

Soon to spray and totally destroy these pesty powder post Beetles and Termites. After four estimates, Will with Cleggs gave me the best detail information and at a very reasonable price.I highly recommend to get at least 3 estimates or more, pray as to which is best for you, and then decide. Dont settle for the first. This could save you thousands of dollars!

I had a mole problem in my front yard. I only found a few local companies willing to take on the challenge of getting rid of the moles and I picked Clegg’s. I’m very happy with the work they did. After two treatments the moles appear to be gone. No more tunnels!!!

We all of a sudden had an ant infestation. I had used Clegg’s Pest Control before so I gave them a call. They came out the next day and sprayed inside, outside, and under my house. Our issue quickly disappeared thankfully. They were prompt, caring, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend using them for your pest control needs.

We needed service right away and Clegg’s came out on the same day that I called an literally within a couple hours. Everyone that I spoke with from the office staff to the inspector & tech were courteous and professional. They took the time and answered all of my questions and knew exactly what we needed. This company did a good job de-humidifying our crawlspace and replacing all of the insulation and floor sheeting. However, there was a lack of supervision of the young folks doing the work, resulting in several frustrating installation decisions. These included placing a sump pump in a different location than discussed (where it may actually not be needed), a too-short sump pump drain line, an outside electrical box in an unwanted location, and a crawlspace electrical outlet that was not within reach of the sump pump. We will need to hire another electrician to move the outside electrical box, and I will need to continually monitor the drain as it barely breaks the surface outside. The work was fairly low cost, and I suppose you get what you pay for. The humidity in the crawlspace is greatly reduced, but we had to come up with a different solution for the occasional flooding.

Exterminator-by the name of Suede in the Raleigh NC area; thoroughly exterminated my townhome; both indoor & outdoor. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and stayed COVID- safe. Prior to my extermination, my mom home was exterminated in the Durham NC area; almost 2yrs now & no signs of return bugs of any kind!😊 I highly recommend Cleggs services.

Ive been using Cleggs for almost ten years, and during that time, the service has consistently gotten worse. For the last few years, they have neglected to call to schedule the inspection and instead just show up unannounced...not cool! Additionally, the inspector that recently visited (no phone call) made several disparaging remarks about my home in a poorly trained attempt to upsell services. When I resisted, he began raising his voice and telling me how wet it was beneath my house. Ummm you do know it has rained almost non stop for 4 weeks, right? When I tried to point out the drainage slope behind my house and explain the water would be dried up in a few days, he told me I didnt know what I was talking about, and that he didnt care if I got the work done or not...really? My contract with Cleggs will run out soon, and I cant say I will use them again.

I stumbled upon a copperhead snake on our property who wanted to stay longer than I was comfortable with near our wood pile. Normally I would let it slither away on its own but after finding it in the same place for two days I thought something was fishy (no pun intended as we have a large pond on our property). Out of fear one of my young daughters would forget it was there while playing I called Cleggs and they had a technician come out within an hour of speaking with them. Gary arrived and took care of the problem humanely with no issues and even spoke to my young girls about the snake and why it probably stuck around longer than usual. Turns out there may have been a food source for it inside the wood pile and it also looked like it was about to give birth so I am VERY appreciative of Gary and Cleggs for taking care of this situation for us as baby copperheads are worse than adults. My daughters, my wife, myself and dog thank you!

I had a termite booster treatment to update termite protection. Also had well vents (square windows along foundation) replaced.Requested inspection under house to determine if an entry point for a mouse could be located. Mr. Joe Eastman did a thorough inspection under house and found a loose/broken well vents, plus all well vents old.Mr. Eastman explained critters gain entry through the broken well vent, plus because the other vents were old they did not serve their function well by opening and closing to ventilate under house, like the new ones do.Mr. Eastman gave a lot of helpful Information generally about pest control.He addressed every question I asked. He did not try to upsell me on a bunch of stuff that I didn’t want or need.He even texted me pictures of what he found under the house and answered a few Followup questions via text after he left.I found Mr. Eastman to be honest, knowledgeable, professional and expedient. I appreciated that he was efficient, because I work from home - I appreciate that he gave a lot of pertinent information without taking a lot of time to do so.The guys that came out to do the termite treatment and install the new well vents were also friendly and professional.They answered my questions and were polite. They worked quickly. I was surprised that a whole army of guys came out, I think it was about five or six.They did a great job and and I was pleased with the service they provide it.Also - the young lady that answered the phone - Becky - when I first called to check the status of my last booster treatment was very patient and polite when going through all the records and recounting to me the details of my past treatments.A lot of times, customer service people get irritated at being asked to do ‘extra’. She did not. She was just as sweet and friendly and helpful as she could be.It was a relief to get these services taken care of by a professional company with excellent customer service, sales staff and work crew at a very reasonable and fair price.Overall A+ experience.I will continue to use Clegg’s Termite. (I have been using them since 2000).Thank you!

This was a routine inspection of my crawlspace dehumidifier. As always, the techs were friendly and efficient.

I called and canceled the appointment that I had for March 22. I was told that there were no appointments available until April and I would be contacted to schedule. The technician showed up on March 22 and we were out of town. He never received the notice that we had to cancel. It is unfortunate that he wasted his time.

I have not done the services yet, but these people are professionals and they are honest (something that is hard to find anywhere). One of their guys came to give us an estimate and he took the time to explain everything and was not pushy. I will definitely be using them for my next treatment.

Cleggs has serviced my commercial property for over 10 years. I called requesting them to help identify the source of a fly issue. They were not willing to help identify the issue, stating that they wouldnt be able to dig in walls etc... I understood the digging in walls point and said I just wanted my pest company that I have contracted quarterly to investigate the issue. I am not qualified to identify flies, which would seemingly help identify there source. The lady that answered the phone was less than helpful and frankly pretty rude. This wasnt my first experience with lack of great customer service from this branch of Cleggs, but it will be my last.

I’m very disappointed in the service I received.On 8/26I received my initial service. I was noticing a few ants scouting around my master bath. The technician arrived early and was courteous and answered all my questions. After the initial treatment I noticed a slight decrease in the number of ants I saw9/9 I had a follow up visit. Same technician, again prompt and courteous. I explained where I was seeing ants and he baited around my kitchen fireplace. He told me I would see increased activity but to let them be since they would carry the bait back and kill the colony.A few hours later we found an infestation in our pantry where previously there had not been any ants. We lost several hundred dollars in groceries and spend hours cleaning up and treating the pantry. I emailed your company that night with photos.9/10 I received an apologetic email response an was told that someone would be following up with me later that day.Late afternoon I did receive a voice mail apologizing and leaving me a contact number.9/11 a few minuets after 9am I returned the call and got voice mail. I left both my husband’s and my numbers.9/17 when we had not received any further contact from your company we emailed again asking for a refund.9/18 I received the follow up phone call. The gentleman was apologetic for the delayed response and apologized explaining that the technicians had been told not to use bait inside. He told me he would speak to his supervisor and that they would be in touch.9/23 I emailed again asking for a refund since I have had zero follow up from Clegg’s after the phone call 5 days before. We have treated the house ourselves and not seen a single ant since.I understand that your company does not control the ants. I am however frustrated that the judgement call to use bait inside cost me much more than I paid your company to solve the issue. I’m disappointed that the two treatments did not have as much impact as the off the shelf solution that we used, mostly I am disappointed in the follow up of your customer service. Although everyone that I eventually spoke to was polite and apologetic, the delay in response is beyond frustrating at this point.In short the solution your company offered escalated the problem and cost me twice as much to fix.

We made the great error of listening to our Cleggs agent concerning dampness in our crawl space - he strongly suggested that we get a Cleggs dehumidifier - plus other stuff - which we did. Cleggs had a crew install the unit in our crawl space. Some months later - during a routine HVAC inspection, we found out that our crawl space was full of water - caused by an improperly installed dehumidifier. We were more than annoyed. We asked to have the unit removed. Our Cleggs agent said he would do right by us - we should order a replacement unit (provided by Cleggs) and not have it installed. He would find someone to buy our unit. Then he disappeared.Horrible customer service - no credibility. I would run for the hills if anyone with Cleggs suggested we purchase anything from them.

Life as a new homeowner is overwhelming enough without having to worry about uninvited guests. My dad sprayed the nooks and crannies when I moved in and then again after I kept encountering roaches. Roaches are my kryptonite. I have a phobia, so whenever I found a roach, I would trap it and wait for my roommate to come home and dispose of the nasty thing!To be honest, I did everything in my power to treat my house on my own, from roach houses, to sprays, to poisonous tablets. I cleaned my house continuously and kept my drains closed when not in use. Unfortunately, the buggers kept finding a way in to torment me!I have never used a pest control service before, but my first experience far surpassed my expectations. My serviceman was not only prompt but early! In my experience in home services, a prompt and/or early arrival is rare.During my home inspection, the serviceman checked every nook and cranny including the crawl space, under the sinks, and the attic. Not only was he thorough, he took the time to explain where to look for roaches, how they find a way into the house, and prevention techniques. This knowledge and passion for my home protection meant the world. Taking the time to explain roach habits, however disgusting in my eyes, made me feel so much more secure.My house was sprayed with a solution that is non-toxic for my dog. Since the treatment, I have not encountered another roach. This is a major relief since I had gotten used to finding roaches at least a few times a week.I highly recommend Cleggs for your pest control needs. Not only do they know what theyre doing, they cared about protecting me and my home. Two thumbs way up!

I contacted Cleggs shortly after moving into my new home, with almost an acre of land and a koi pond. There was evidence of termite damage but no active termites on the inspection report. Cleggs did a thorough inspection of my property, presented a very reasonable estimate, and within a few days, had provided the termite treatment/prevention as well as home and yard treatment. A week later we were still seeing clover mites on the patio (which they had expected us to see) and they came back out for a second treatment at no additional charge. I signed up for quarterly service to help keep the house pests and mosquitoes at bay. Very pleased with the service we have received thus far. The technicians were extremely professional and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. Highly recommend!

Our Cleggs service technician, Kenneth, has a degree in entomology. Kenneth inspires confidence and trust. He is responsive to issues that arise sometimes with ants and spiders. However, in the realm of those nasty palmetto bugs (cockroaches), which has long been our biggest issue, we rarely see them in our house and when we do, typically theyre nearly dead. Thats the way we like it. Cleggs gets the job done.

I called them for an ant problem that was developing in my kitchen. Every once in awhile I would see an ant on my kitchen counter. I called Cleggs and upon their inspection they found ants had built a mound in between the exterior and interior wall of the kitchen. Well Cleggs got busy and treated the interior and exterior of my home. Now they only treat the exterior once a quarter and if any issues arise in between treatments they will come treat at no additional cost. The service technician is very friendly and answers any and all questions. I recommend Cleggs!

AAAAAAA++++++ I put off dealing with a mice issue in my home way too long.Because I only caught a few, I felt I could handle it myself.However, the last one I caught was still alive.... ARGH!!!! Dry heaving + nearly sobbing, I called Cleggs Pest Control and they advised me on how to humanely take care of the injured mouse.Then the cold weather set in. A very large contingency of mice became frequent unwanted houseguests and I decided my DIY pest control days were over.Because they were so helpful, I called Cleggs again. Kevin came in no time and did a whole house inspection (even telling me I had a leak in my garbage disposal ;) ). He found more issues than mice and was able to treat my home the same day (without charging more for the extra critters).No pressure selling. Great whole house advice.
