I was disappointed in the amount of time it took to have my oil change completed. A car that arrived after I did was finished at least 15 minutes before me. The tech that took my credit card for payment had difficulty staying on task because he was more interested in other things going on around him. They replaced my wiper fluid with water and it was depleted by the time I reached home. They also could not reset my maintenance light. My brother-in-law did this for me in a matter of seconds when I reached his home. I spent almost 45 minutes at this location. I did not understand why after I paid and the work was completed I had to ask them to please close my hood so I could leave. The concept of a drive thru oil change is awesome if the location is staffed with competent workers. The 5110 Capital Blvd Raleigh location could use a class on customer service.

Twice Ive gone for an oil change at this local with no luck at getting service. They close at 7pm, but wouldnt take me at 5:45pm even if there is no line.

The guys were prompt, knowledgeable, professional, effective and efficient in service. I was in and out. I was so proud in the young black staff, I will be coming back.

Ive been using this place for 4 years on an old car. Recently I bought a new car, drove it for 4,100 miles and returned to them to change the oil. Turns out the oil still looked new. Didnt need to be changed.A less reputable place wouldnt have told me. A less reputable place would have changed the my oil, charge me and not bother telling me.Theyve just earned a customer for life.

They will lie and tell you that you need a certain type of oil for your even if you dont. Ive serviced my car on my own from my very first oil change and I will continue to do so from now on. I went back and forth with the guy changing my oil and he even tried to get the manager to talk to me. In the end they gave me the price of the oil that I came to get but its no telling what they actually gave me since the oil was in an opened container. I will not be coming back or recommending anyone else to come here. If I need another oil change in the future I will do it myself or go to Walmart.

First time user.....they were attentive, nice, and all business. Answered all my questions, asked me what milage I drove per year. Showed me the recommended oil I should use.Bought an air filter (only because I was too lazy myself), overpriced,But overall pleased with the service...... Ill go back

I’ve been utilizing Take 5 for years for my oil changes & I’ve never been disappointed. This was my 2nd time coming to the Capital Blvd location and the crew did a phenomenal job. I only got TJ’s name, but he and the others were a joy to interact with. They worked quickly, yet thoroughly. I will definitely be back.

Ive become a fan. Last oil change was done in 10 mins. Team is efficient and polite. Cost (with coupon) was reasonable. Ive now done 4 cars here!

I visited this location on 9/5/2021 because I had a coupon for $18 off an oil change. Tevin was the service writer. When I asked for the GTX Magnatec option, he told me that was just hybrid oil and that I should use Edge. When I asked for confirmation using Take 5s website & Castrols website as a source of information contradicting what he was telling me, he continued on with his spiel. After finally accepting my choice (GTX), he proceeded giving me a mileage / change oil sticker saying something to the effect that he can set it for 8k miles. Like he was doing me a favor? Umm, full synthetic oil only needs to be changed every 10-15k miles regardless of branding / marketing because they are all SYNTHETIC and Dexos rated. Honestly, I can only imagine what else theyre doing incorrectly or just plain wrong here. I wont be visiting them again unless they damaged my vehicle.

First time using his place. Amazing! When ai got there the card machine was down so I had to get cash but the people kept me informed of the wait, brought me a coke bottle of water, asked if I had any questions and were super kind. Totally will go again!

Overall a great experience. Lost a star because of the cost. Pretty expensive compared to what you would get at a Jiffy Lube or similar place. I guess staying in your car is worth more, but I think we are doing all the work.Yes, nice to just pull in and they scan your car and ask what oil you want. They check your air and cabin air filter and give a reasonable cost for replacing.You pay and exit. Pretty smooth and easy process.

They were telling people they weren’t taking anyone else with three cars in front at 5:25 saying it will take 30 minutes to service the other cars . This was today . Im at valvoline and they doing it 20 minutes before. And getting us done quick

You should not run a business if you dont know how to change oil properly. My mother took her brand new Mazda truck to get oil changed this week. You failed to properly change it and didnt even put enough oil in. She had to take it up to the dealership to get fixed. Your employees dont seem to know much about how to be professional. I most definitely will not be taking my car up here for an oil change.

Was a line, they offered water which was nice. Guy quoted me a different price over phone than actual paid price but it was still fair. Yes, I would return and recommend to other associates. Thanks!

I recently moved to Raleigh NC from California and this is the best ever idea!!!! They were fast courteous thorough and pretty reasonable. It’s so convenient, just pull up and sit in the car and they take care of the oil change. I was worried that I’d have a long wait since they were having a 50% sale for after Thanksgiving, but it didn’t take long at all. I will definitely be returning and after driving 3000 miles from Ca my car needed it!!! It runs like a champ. Thanks guys for doing a great job. See you when I need my next oil change.

I had a coupon that was in the mail for $29.99. Clerk said they do have coupons and that the bill was $95.00 dollars. I asked why and who pays $95.00 for an oil change? He laughed at me and says a lot of people do.I did not ask for synthetic oil or any services. Did not disclose any of this up front. A complete rip off and bad business. I will never go back and I will tell all my friends and family how dishonest this place is.

The customer service was the best by far. Corey and the team work well together and fast. With temps in the 90s I was offered water right away. The bay was clean and neat and signs easy to see and understand.

Stay away from this location. Went to this location on Capital, was told that they didnt have a specific oil for my car but I could get a different oil and pay more money. I said no. I was told this after the oil was drained out of my vehicle, I had no option but to get something done. I didnt know that they had drained my vehicle by then. I would have refused services like a normal person who can save money on a simple oil change. I was taken aback! How can you put someone in that position, you should have did the research first then tell me that the oil wasnt in stock before draining my vehicle. I was put in a position to pay regardless. Got the oil change, paid way more than what I should have. I call to speak with the manager later in the day so I could have corporates number/email. He refused to give it to me, he also proceeds to say that the oil was in stock, to finish it off he says thats on you. Then he hangs up on me. I was very professional with him and with Take 5 earlier in the day. I had to call another location to get this taken cared of professionally. The other manager at that location was very surprised that that occurred with the company he works for. I arrived at my next location, popped the hood, and theres so much oil at the bottom of my vehicles bottom piece. Dont go here. Select another location and make sure they have your product in stock before any of them touches your vehicle.UPDATE--- see pic! That is how much oil came out of my vehicle after TAKE 5 were the last ones to touch my vehicle for oil services. And on top of that, the plug wasnt screwed on all the way. The new mechanic saw this and was scared for me. NEVER GO TO TAKE 5. They obviously dont care about peoples vehicles and importantly, their safety/life.

Take 5 offers quick oil changes, which is rather convenient so you can proceed with your other tasks for the day. More importantly, I was impressed with the customer service. TJ greeted me with a smile and professionally explained the services that would be rendered. He offered me a beverage and pleasantly interacted with me while the services were provided. He discussed other products that I needed like a filter, but did not put any undue pressure on me to purchase. The other team members worked well together and were proficient. I will definitely return to this establishment for future services.

Did not have the right things to change my oil

Decent place, but it took me about 25 minutes to get my oil done. Also, I did a drive-through oil change for health reasons… To stay safe during Covid… And the employees were wearing masks below their nose and then pulling down their masks to lean into my car 1 foot from my face and speak with me. This is a little bit awkward and they clearly don’t understand the purpose of a mask. Anyhow, my car is running in the oil change worked, but not sure it was worth the premium prices for a slower oil change.

Take5 Corporate: dont take these guys for granted; theyre GOLD.

Yall too high for me. Bring down prices or start giving out 10 dollars off coupons. Only reason I came cause yall was only option at the time.

I particularly chose to go here so that I wouldnt have to leave my car during the pandemic. The service reps wear masks, gloves, distance as much as they can and have hand sanitizer readily available.It took longer than usual, but the young man working on my car apologized repeatedly. There were more cars there than service reps to keep up with them.My engine filter has to be replaced and he not only showed me the dirty one, but compared it to the new one to show how significantly different the two were so that Id know he wasnt trying to up sell.The oil change is a bit pricy (I have to get the high mileage synthetic), but the comfort and ease of not having to get out, mask up, distance, etc was well worth it.Thank you for keeping us all safe.

I enjoy going her because it is fast and reliable. Always provided with excellent customer service.***The only negative thing about Take 5 is some of the pricing. Yes you top off the fluids but $82.99 for high mileage oil change is high. Thankful for the coupon received. Also charging high prices for basic air and cabin filters but doubling, tripling or quadrupling to price, I will never do again but I wanted them changed before I got on the high way. The customer service here was outstanding. The technicians walk up to your vehicle very courteous with their face mask on and ask what can we do for you...explain their services. They ask that you please remain inside your vehicle in which is also written on outside wall signs. They pull you forward point out their price signs and ask what do you choose. The technicians go underneath your vehicle do your oil change...complete and come out to explain what they have completed on your vehicle. They give you a printed out receipt, thank you for your business and invites you to come and see them again. Well put together business, clean,neatly dressed and very professional staff. They make you want to come back.

Came to get an oil change from Zebulon for them to be closed. Then I see a employee there asked why the closed he ignored me. NEVER AGAIN

They were quick and sufficient at the task. One of the techs TJ was polite and friendly. He was very knowledgeable, and took the time to answer any questions I had. Great service and location.

I was a passenger in the car with my older sister. Enjoying our service at Take 5 when a worker aggressively walked from a room (lightskin older dude with a low cut) and started using profanity towards his coworkers. Telling them to go home and how they weren’t working. NEVER AGAIN!!

When I pulled up it was one person ahead of me and I ended up begin the last person served. After pulling up and popping my hood I still sat for 15 minutes waiting service.

Very quick and friendly. TJ was fantastic very knowledgeable, answered all the questions I had. This will be the place I go for all my future oil changes.

Very Knowledgeable with Care

We’ve been sitting in line for over an hour now. Only one car has moved forward in that time. I literally could have gone across the street and changed the oil myself in the parking lot by now. We tried this place because it sounded like it would be quick. Apparently that was a poor assumption.Update: 1 hour and 33 minutes later, we’re done.

In and out within 15 minutes with 3 cars ahead of me. Explained everything they were doing and what I was being charged for. Fast and easy experience. Whole crew worked as a cohesive team, they worked like a well oiled machine.

The service was awesome. The wait time was reasonable. The oil change was fast. The staff was very polite and professional. Im a customer for life.

Horrible service. You hand then a coupon they say its valid then after the oil has been put in the say they cant use the coupon.

Got an oil change on 6/27/2020 and the staff was extremely quick, courteous, and helpful. They suggested a wiper change and I really appreciated that. I was very impressed by the fact that everyone seemed to be in such good spirits even working in the heat with a long line. Take 5 will be the only place I get my oil change from now on!

I took my lunch from work to get my oil changed and was only 5 mins late with there being a line at Take 5. It’s a 15-17 minute drive to and from my work so for there to be a line and I still got back to work in a timely manner, I was impressed. The attendant made polite conversation and used my name in conversation. I wish I could remember their names but the gentlemen who worked Tuesday from around 4-5pm were the absolute best and I plan to come back for my next oil change!!

Great customer service and the only place (it seems) to change oil on a Sunday.................. BUT they didnt have the $29.99 service that was advertised online, but i looked the other way when everything was done and over in under 10 mins.

No wait time so I was in and out in 15 minutes max. They put air in my tires in addition to completing the oil change and checking my filters. Very professional staff. Would definitely recommend.

My card was charge twice and when i call back up there the phone rings then hang up on u and when i call corporate office. It says their voicemail is to full to take any messages so im sure they not even hearing our complaints. I had to go out of town and not able to go back there to get them to refuned me my money for charging me twice and now cant even get a human on the phone.

Was like clockwork — yet, I observed, each customer was treated like they were the only one there. That’s SERVICE. And when it was my turn, it was no different. We discussed the difference between two oils. Chose one. They got vehicle details. Changed the oil. Took the card, I signed and left with a smile. Smooth. Smiles. This place is not 5 min oil change is more like 30 40 min oil change

If you value your money and car, do NOT go here. Sloppy oil change with oil spilled on my engine, leaving a putrid smell that had to be fixed elsewhere. Technician involved me in fraud. Go to an independent shop where they actually care about your car and theyre professional.

I visited this establishment 10/04/2020 for a standard oil change. I paid with my card and I left thinking everything was okay. A few days later I notciced my car leaking oil. I came back to the establishment and spoke to several members of the staff and stated my issue they advised me that the guy who did my oil change left and now works in Atlanta but they would look under the hood to see the issue, “Tj” pulled me into bay 3 looked under the hood for all of 4 minutes and stated I know the problem it’s the oil plug it was loose. He said he added more oil and tightened the plug. The very next time I drove my car it ticked and shut off.. on a back country road while driving my daughter to a slumber party. I had to have my insurance tow my vehicle to my apartment complex and wait until Saturday to speak with “take 5” I called the establishment 10 times and no one answered. I had to bottle a friends car to get to the business.. once I arrived two staff members gave me a number to a manager named Carl who did not text or call me back. I am a single mother living in Raleigh ALONE, my vehicle is my sole transportation and because of a botched oil change from this establishment i am out of a car.

First time trying this place. The people were friendly but it was pretty slow and more expensive than other places Ive been.

I was greeted by Jalen the manager and he was very welcoming and very professional. Everyone was so generous and doing their job and great teamwork. They also cleaned my front windshield and I will definetly come back to get my transmission fluid changed and tight in my neighborhood!!

I had been coming to this location for years... today I arrived at 1130am and there were more than 10 cars backed up for service and only 2 of 4 bays open, after waiting a few minutes and seeing no staff, I went home and returned at 515pm, a full 45 minutes before closing, to be told by an employee they were closing early! VERY poor customer service! I will not go back! Go to a competitor that cares about customer service!

GREAT AND FAST SERVICE

They did not control the line when I arrived. Should have been next. Got stuck behind vehicle nobody was working on. Three other cars got in a head of me. They even opened a third bay to make it more aggregious. 30 minutes later I leave and go to Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers.

They were quick, efficient and courteous. Very good experience.

Driving down road and out of nowhere. my tire blow out. Barley made it toTake 5 a. guy name Prodigy saved my day. He was very professional and took care of my tire. I will forever be thankful!

I went there to get an oil change for a diesel vehicle. They didnt have my filter and recommended I go to their location on Creedmoore where they may have the filter. I was tempted to just go run my errands but my friend convinced me to just go and check with the other location. Upon arrival, the technician informed me that my engine had no oil cap and oil was splashing out! The Capital Blvd location forgot to put my cap back on! If I didnt go to the other location, then I would have lost all the oil and my engine would have burned! Be very careful about going to this location, just drive to creedmoore!
