PAPERWORK PUSHERS: If you need any paperwork done or filed they’re great. However if you’re looking for a lawyer that will fight for you, DO NOT hire John McNeil. His skill set is totally reliant on WHO he knows and not WHAT he knows. When challenged, he WILL NOT stand ground and ALWAYS opt to take the easy settle regardless of your opinion. Throughout my entire case, his line to me was “just let it slide”. Subsequently I ended up letting my own rights slide (learned from another attorney) simply because he doesn’t want to put up a fight for his clients. DO NOT BE FOOLED by the free consultation, the damage done to your case and future will be much more costly.

Five months into the process of trying to keep custody of my daughter Mr. McNeil could not remember my daughters name. Thats how important we were to him. He never was proactive, never returned phone calls, never offered suggestions. If keeping/obtaining custody of your children is your goal..Mr McNeil is absolutely not the lawyer for you. I spent thousands of dollars during the scariest time of my life with the impression he would help me. He never did. Do not hire this attorney if obtaining/keeping custody of your child is your goal.
