These guys are true experts in international shipping & crate fabrication. I had to send a motor to Germany to be rebuilt, and the Crater & Freighters crew knew exactly how to build a crate that met all of the stringent EU regulations. They also made sure that the crate was properly tagged to show that the crate was fully compliant with the EU regs.Beyond designing/building the crate, the delivery to my shop was done in an incredibly professional, courteous, and friendly fashion. The driver even delivered my crate to an alternate location without hassle.This was my first time using Craters & Freighters. I recently purchased a painting at an area auction house and chose Craters & Freighters Raleigh to handle the shipment of the artwork from North Carolina to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Frankly, Ive never had such good follow up from a shipping company. At every step of the process I got an email and a call from their representative. When the work was packed I even got photos of the work before it was crated. The shippers they worked with here in New Mexico for the white glove delivery were also well chosen and professional. And then I got a call to make sure the delivery went well. That has never happened before! I would recommend Craters & Freighters Raleigh to anyone who needs to ship their artwork or other valuables. A great experience and wonderful service.

Our firm utilized Craters & Freighters Raleigh to collect works we purchased from a NC auction firm, take to C&F facility, crate them, and have them delivered to our gallery in upstate NY. Kathryn was great and worked hard to get the best cost to ship out my item to California. She really went the extra mile to help me. Mr Williiams did a fine job of packing and it made it to me undamaged and packed very well to insure it survive the trip here. The item is a very heavy and rare WW2 military radio with many somewhat fragile vacuum tubes and all survived.Excellent service and communications...highly recommend !!

Great customer service, easy to quote my paintings as well. I dropped them off, and they were wonderfully wrapped. Kathryn was very helpful and even checked in when the gallery across the country was unable to receive the packages. Shipping artwork is never cheap, but here you definitely get what you pay for.

Nervous about how to safely ship 2 precious antique furniture pieces from Durham to St. Louis, I contacted at least 4 different shipping companies, and I knew right away when I spoke with Evan, and later other staff members that Id found my company. They were so caring and professional, returning calls and emails over a period of days, explaining the care they use in packing and shipping. Furniture arrived on predicted date, well wrapped, safe and sound! Very reasonably priced, too! Would definitively return to them for future shipping.

I just recently had to pack up to move to Hawaii from Raleigh. These guys saved me big time and made the process smooth and easy. Built me special crates for special pieces of furniture, custom boxing for some pieces, and I was able to relax and trust all my items were going to be just fine. I could not recommend these guys more. 5 stars are not enough!

They had live people on the phone. They showed up on time. They were exceedingly careful loading our items and they followed up on delivery. Their costs were at the top of the range but so was there service. We did not have our items crated so they did that.

We use Craters and Freighters Frequently for our company. We move very fragile and expensive items long distance pretty regularly and are always satisfied with their services. Good quality and the customer service is also top of the line. The few times we have had an issue it has quickly been resolved more than satisfactorily.

My experience with Craters and Freighters was one of extreme satisfaction. Explaining my health condition ( not being able to lift or move anything ) to Kaylyn, she immediately took control of my needs. She walked me through the reshipping process of a unit I could not use and was able to work with Border Patrol into Canada to return the item. I will never use another moving / shipping company. Worked with Kaylyn to ship a small piece of machine tooling equipment (300 lbs, 16 cubic feet) x-country. There were some logistical challenges but Kaylyn stayed cool and worked through the issues. The crating was done well and the equipment arrived intact. Thanks gang.

SLOW.Terrible communicationDamaged my shipment and did not take responsibility (even with insurance).More expensive than others.They were 3 days late picking up (they actually forgot about me). When they finally did pick it up and shipped it, they damaged it en-route and it took 2 days+ for every email to them to get a response back. It was a $900 mistake working with these guys.
