I am giving them one star only because I can’t give 0 stars. This place is an absolute scam, completely taking advantage of first time renters. I placed my reservation initially through Priceline for a reasonable price. However, when I went to check out after the rental, they had tried to add a whole bunch of additional charges, insurances, and hidden fees which I nicely asked them to help remove from my card when I explained that I never agreed to them. They were not explained to me.Unfortunately, the location manager is clearly in the wrong job because he continually walked away from me and refused to help me with my situation. He said I was “wasting his time” and helping customers “wasn’t his job.”What a lame excuse for a manager.I see many other people have given reviews having the same or similar issues. This isn’t the first time this has happened at this location, apparently. They must enjoy stealing money from their customers, so I highly recommend picking literally any other rental service at this airport.
Shuttles were easy to find and quick and we were in ans out when we got there. The vehicle drove nice and was in pretty decent condition. We had it for a week with no problems. Dropped the car off at the speedy return area and waited less than 10 minutes for the airport shuttle. Just got the receipt and they didnt try charging us any extra.
Placed a rental as usual from this facility, while I am conducting business/work in the area. I was highly disappointed to get a fuel charge on my final receipt after returning my rental with a full-tank. The customer service line was even more disappointing, as you waste your time with the robot voice rollercoaster that gets you nowhere. I was finally able to get a hold a live person after calling the main number from the Hertz website and state my complaint. Did I mention, I am also a Gold Member. They even tried to tell me I had to upgrade my rental to keep my membership. The issue was immediately dropped, after I mentioned that the rental was setup through my work. It have been using Hertz for quite some time, which was why I became a Gold Member to begin with. Please drop the shady practice, it doesn’t earn loyalty. From someone who also works in a Customer Service environment, I treat people and customers with honestly and respect. And I simply demand the same.
What can I say about today?? Yes, I know that its Friday, and I came at the HEIGHT of pick up times 2pm (I assume). But my goodness, it took almost 2 hrs for me to pick my car up today. I know the employees were moving as fast as they could but goodness me, it was a wait. I want to applaud the second batch of employees that came in around 3pm though, they came in and had that line moving! Im sure it was because they were fresh and energetic. Im not sure what you all could do to move this process along better but maybe self check-in? Idk. Thank you for working in such perilous times and please dont burn yourselves out. Oh, also we as customers should have common courtesy for one another. I heard a disagreement between two people through my ear buds. Okay, Im done. Thanks for reading!
Wanted to add my son who is over 25 to our rental contract at pick up and have him pick up car (as his flight was delayed) we wanted to leave ahead as we had a friend who was able to pick us up... I had all his information and all he would simply need to do was show his license upon arrival and pick up keys.( Every payment criteria gad been met), ..NO!They absolutely would not allow it..without me there..so we had to wait two hours for him to arrive..crazy non customer service policy. Will no rent again. Nor recommend.
The car was filthy and we could barely see out of the windshield when we left, so I had to stop and pay to get it cleaned; I overlooked this because I know they are probably short staffed like everywhere else. BUT we returned our car hours before it was due (pulled in the return lot, an attendant took the keys and said youre good to go) then received an email two days later saying it was NEVER RETURNED!! Finally, fixed that situation, but looked at my card statement and was charged $900+ on what was supposed to be a $200 rental. Theyre saying the car was returned 5 days after it was due which is 100% inaccurate so now I have almost $1,000 in limbo with them until they can confirm. NEVER using this company again.
So I rented a Hertz car several states away and it turns out the air conditioner didn’t work. I stopped at three different Hertz stores before someone told me that I really wanted to go to the airport.I arrived, told the intake guy my issue. He was super helpful and told me what to do to resolve the problem.I went inside and was waited on within moments. The clerk directed me to an area of the lot, told me to pick a car and bring the keys and odometer reading back to the counter.Minutes later I was on my way with a new car and ice cold air.News flash; if you ever have performance issues with your Hertz rental car, go to the Raleigh airport location ASAP and they will hook you up.
Company paid for a rental to go to new job training. I gave the guy at the counter all the paperwork for my car. He tried to get me to give him my credit card. Told him it was paid for. Had to call my HR representative to straightened it out. Had a lady to complete the transaction. He try to say that he didnt know that my company was paying for it. I told him that he was a lie and specifically told him from the start that my company had everything payed for. If you go to a Hertz, dont go to the RDU Hertz. Bad,bad, bad
Great place Great time at R D U thanx the fusion was great!!Well this was as close as i could get... and Great Gas mileage. Let Hertz put youuuuu...-
Shamra was so incredibly rude! She should not be working with customers especially those that are tired or jet lagged. If a customer has a question, answer it politely! Do not project your own issues and verbally speak ugly to customers in the manner that you do. Heavy sighing, also not in the customer service handbook. It was clear you were out to make me feel as if I was the bad guy. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect by anyone at Hertz. You should be ashamed.
Horrible experience for Dollar customers. There were 2 lines. They were primarily helping Hertz customers. Dollar line grew to the Hertz area. A lady customer yelled out about how there was a Hertz person, and a Dollar attendant, but when the 3rd person came, she only assisted the Hertz side. There was like 2 people in Hertz line, she took like 2 people. Hertz customers continued to come, and it was painfully obvious that their line (Hertz) was being helped the most. When the customer said can I see the manager, the lady yelled out, I am the manager and you can leave. Weve watched her help 4-5 Hertz customer then 1 Dollar/Thrify customer. Allison was the rude managers name. Terrible, terrible, terrible experience. You definitely need to retrain and teach them how to handle both desks better
We paid online for our car going to North Carolina from Boston, MA. They give you the price and when we got there they added extra charges for certain things and had a crazy $500 hold on you! You get it back when you return the car but what if that was your spending cash on your vacation or you didnt have it. They just could have given a better heads up before you get to them!
Booked a car. Arrived on a night flight. They closed early so no one came to pick me up at arrivals. National drove me over to hertz. No one was there. I had to walk across the street with all my luggage to Avis who actually stays until the late flights come in. Will never rent hertz again.
My first time as a customer at hertz had been a nightmare the manager told me I could park my car on-site for the duration of my reservation and when I got back I seen my car was towed and I owe over seven hundred dollars to get the car back!!!!im definitely sueing her and hertz because they didn’t help me at all and I won’t recommend them to anyone they are horrible
It was my first time renting at the airport, it was so quick and easy.. I just wish I knew before hand that you pick out your own car. ( I was just standing in parking lot w my papers in my hand.
Better car rental service than any other. Well trained people, excellent stock on hand..no junk. Easy returns...no hassels.
Absolutely horrible experience! The rented car broke down in the middle of highway at 10 pm. When we called customer assistance, they have not picked up the phone for two hours. After they finally picked up the phone, they couldn’t offer us any help. We set on the side of the highway with no emergency lights since the battery was dead. We ended up being rescued by highway patrol, the car was towed to Walmart parking lot at 5 am, we paid out of pocket for the tow truck service. The next morning we spent hours trying to connect with customer service. They did not have the car to give us, what a joke. The worst company ever. We will not use it ever again and will let everyone know.
I had to exchange my car. Shamra was very helpful n proactive. She noticed that I had returned and gave me instructions on what I needed to do instead of having me stand in line get to the counter for instructions. I really appreciated that. Her and the whole staff rocked on 7/15/21
Do not return your car without waiting for a final receipt! I returned the vehicle full of fuel and kept my receipt from the gas station as proof. The attendant told me to just leave the keys in the car and go. When I received my email receipt it included fuel charges. I have wasted over an hour with customer support trying to get this refunded. I have a picture of the fuel gauge and my fuel purchase receipt, yet they still have not refunded the amount.
The rental process was smooth, efficient, and fast. As a Hertz member, I was able to pick out my car. Right to the gate. Check out and leave.
Very easy and pain free experience. Easy check and even quickercheck out. The staff was friendly, efficient, professional and top notch. Great job.
Great experience. Fast rental process. The staff was pleasant and aware of time. Vehicle was clean. Easy to return the vehicle. Shuttle service to and from arrival and departure gates.
Im a Presidents Circle member, and our flight was delayed due to mechanical issues. Hertz closed its office on us before we were able to get our vehicle leaving us stranded and having to spend a fortune on another vehicle with their competitor, Enterprise. They never answer their phone at this location, so you arent able to notify them of ANYTHING. You are consistently routed to some no named answering machine where your concern goes into the unknown. I will be contacting their CEO about my experience and if Im not satisfied with their response, I will be removing mine and all my familys and friends future business from any Hertz location EVER in the future.
I was not happy with the customer care personnel that took care of me at the counter. He mumbled the whole time and wearing a mask it was impossible to understand him. I kept asking him to repeat himself, but he didnt put much effort into it! He was also rude and tried to assert pressure on me to accept upgrades to a larger vehicle that I didnt want. I dont believe I would rent a car from them again.
Made Reservations over the phone, got there and it was completely different.... Ill stick with Enterprise!
I picked up my vehicle at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport love that I had many choices. However I did not like that I was convince to get insurance I didnt need realized that my personal insurance would cover a rental car and fortunately was able to get that refunded. However I was traveling from North Carolina to Louisiana and once I got to Mississippi my check engine light came on and the oil light came on. I had spent half of my day already trying to someone in the office and could not get anyone to answer the phone finally was able to get an email from customer service and after I sent an email I got a return call. This was about the insurance. Ive been had to get in touch with him again because of the check engine light and the oil light again no one would answer the phone and I sent an email but no response. Close to an hour later I get a call from the office manager and he advises me that the vehicle needs an oil change. Im frustrated with this because I knew and they knew that I needed to travel to Louisiana and would be keeping the car for a week. After driving on the highway a little longer I noticed that the car isnt driving correctly when Im stopping and going and theres a knocking noise so I took it upon myself to stop and check the oil myself regardless of what the electronic system on the dash said. Which it did state that it had 4% oil life left. Hey how I checked the oil twice and both times there was maybe a half inch of oil on the dipstick and it was black oil. This is very unfortunate and stressful especially since I thought I had a fairly new car that only had 30000 miles on it. I ended up putting 2 quarts of oil in this vehicle and checking it again just to add two more and bought an extra in case I needed it. This was a huge inconvenience and the car rental and Louisiana where I was staying local to where I was staying was closed on Sunday so I had to wait until Monday to return the car and exchange it for another. This took three and a half hours to do between waiting on guest in front of me to actually getting in the car. Then I realized that my daughters camera that was left on the previous car so I had to return the next day and retrieve it fortunately it was there and I was able to get it however when I arrived and spoke to the front staff they informed me that I would be charged a $300 fee on the previous car because there was evidence of smoking. I do not smoke! Theres no way that there was evidence of smoking in the vehicle! Im currently trying to reach customer service and buy email and phone call to get this issue resolved and get this charge taken off of my credit card. Its been 5 business days and no response. The customer service is awful and I truly believe that I should receive a refund for the $300 charge especially and if anything a refund for the rental for the stress and time it took away from my vacation. I dont plan on getting another rental car from Hertz!
Long lines, but nice staff ... upgraded but sent me to the section with the lower priced cars. Folks outside helped ... so good staff .. cant give a 5 rating .... but a good place to rent.
Looong line, Gold reservation not listed on the board. They pestered me to provide my flight info, but so far have failed to meet the Gold service level expected. Not enough staff, and each transaction at the desk seems to take 10 minutes. The facility is also servicing Thrifty and National, so much more staff should be on hand for a holiday weekend.
The rental process was pretty smooth. Thrifty has been absorbed under the Hertz umbrella along with some other smaller rental firms. It took no longer than maybe 20 minutes after arriving to the rental office before we signed documents with the ckerk, then we were on our way. The typical car exam wasnt performed on the day we visited so I recommend that drivers photo the car before driving off, and then do the same after youve brought the car back.
My car was dirty and did not run very good. The service at Raleigh airport is very slow mostly because people ask a lot of stupid questions. Known before you go!
Hertz RDU has always treated me very well. In these difficult times traveling they have provided only the best service.Thank You
1 star for the simple fact that you cant talk to an actual human being just to ask a simple question without agreeing to them adding on 5% of your car rental fee for the luxury of speaking to them.
The car i got is a Altima and its amazing . I want one now !
Friendly service. A little confusing serving Dollar and others in the same office.
Arrived at scheduled time in a resermade six weeks earlier. Name wad not on the Gold Member board. Had to get in long line only to find out that they hadnt gotten a car ready for me. They did locate a car, did a quick clean and wash, so I was finally able to leave a half hour late.
Long wait. Should have been prepared for 4th of July 2021 weekend. Was asked to go to section 3 to pickup car and found no cars in the section! Should have been told that you combined Thrifty, Dollar and Hertz car rental companies.
This is the worst place I had been to… I was gonna rent a car but my daughter wanted another one so we rented the other one… but then this lady come up and say if u are gonna rent this car you have to come back tmrw and make the documents and stuff again. If u want to do it run, you have to give me 600 dollars! It wasted a lot of my time and now I gotta drive three hours back to that place again. Why is this service so bad.
Great customer service. They took care of me. Had a flat tire and no charge. They said they would just do an accident report
Arrived Raleigh Airport and everything ran smoothly..Hertz -Definitely adhered to the pandemic environment. SUV received sealed and disinfected. Customer service and shuttle service was greatDefinitely a relief. A loyal customer indeed.
Friendly employees, and prompt shuttle service to the airport starting at 4:00 AM! It was helpful we could drop the car off so early and not stress about getting to the airport on time since our hotels shuttle service didnt start till 5 AM.
I work as a personal assistant and made a reservation at RDU airport, using the website, for my employer. The reservation process was easy enough, but nowhere in the confirmation e-mail were there instructions for the contact-free express pick-up/drop-off that Gold members are eligible for. I called the actual RDU airport office 10 times and no one ever answered. I left 2 VMs--no one returned my call. On the Hertz corporate website, when you click the link for customer service you are re-directed to a page with an error message. None of this inspires confidence in Hertz as a company. I plan to give until end of day and then cancel the reservation if I still have not gotten a reply--48 hours seems like a more than fair period within which to expect a return call.
Great car selection. But I think they should provide more information on selecting and driving off.
Theres not much to say we all know car rentals or car rentals but this particular visit was quick and done well.
I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of getting my car and a upgrade. Actually I was impressed...keep it up ...
Worst place to book at. Even though I am Goldz Member, I did not get a free additional driver. On top of that, even though I returned the car on time (6pm), they noted the return time as 1.5 hours later than I returned it (7:42pm) and charged me for that extra hour. I have been trying to work with customer service to get this resolved but looks likes its just a rabbit hole. Infact Im on hold with them for the past 20 mins just to speak to a customer agent. I would not recommend this to anyone. Office staff were rude and not at all helpful. Customer service is even worse.Update: Customer service did come through and issue a refund. Bumped up two stars just for that 💯
Actually, I had dollar. They combine thrifty dollar hertz to save $$ as business builds up. When you turn in your car all 3 of them go to the Hertz return.
It really is hit or miss when it comes to customer service, availability of vehicles and the ease of the checkout process at this location. I have been here many times and sometimes its great and sometimes it is horrible. If I could give a 2.5 right down the middle I would.
Friendly service, nice bus drivers, decent vehicles for rent.
We walked in..first ones there..the guy behind the desk for 10 min wouldn’t even look up at us..the proceeded to go outside and smoke his Vape while we waited for ANOTHER 15 min before we were finally addressed by the other behind the desk agent who was shockingly just as rude as the other guy. Horrible service not to mention their computers hardly work
I booked my reservation online and wasnt informed without a credit card there would be a deposit. Nevermind that I was flying and could use my debit card as advertised. Then was advised I could drop off the vehicle at 3 am at the airport location, and leave the key in the Dropbox. Well the gate was locked, they didnt open until 4. My flight was at 5:25 & I was trying to be 2 hours early. Very disappointing that the website and the representative provided the incorrect information.
Very conveinent. Polite service.
I reserved a full size truck got to the counter and was given a smaller truck. When I went to pick up the truck I realized that the type of truck I reserved was available. When I inquired why I was not given the truck I reserved, I was told that the trucks were reserved for loyalty members. (Another excuse for racial profiling and discrimination). When I insisted the guy sent me around the corner to get a truck that was not there. Back at the counter, I inquired why the run around. Before I knew it, I was surrounded by police. My reservation was torn in front of me.This is the worst place to get a car. BTW they put a $487 hold on my card, refused me the truck and called the police on me. Of course the police did nothing. One star is one too many!!!
Quick, friendly and efficient! My first time using Hertz and Amber made it a breeze!
Idk if they need new management or maybe its because of the fact hertz had a bankruptcy issue in the recent future, but the rdu airport hertz cant seem to keep enough cars for people flying in the evening. I have always been an enterprise fan anyways because they provide better customer service unless your in miami but Hertz is usually my second choice if I dont prefer an uber. But the fleet service needs improvement in rdu.
Make sure you have your agent be clear about your charges. I made a reservation on a travel site easy enough. I got in early so I asked to pick up my car a few hrs early what I did not know was it would charge me an extra day and and I had almost three hundred dollars in extra charges not explained to me. The agent was stoic and if I asked any questions he was short with me. Lesson learned
The price we were charged once we arrived was around $600 higher than what was shown to us when we initially made the reservation. Staff was wildly unhelpful and unapologetic about it. Ended up taking an Uber to Charlotte to avoid paying Hertz a single penny of my money. Scum. Stay away
Excellent service. Easy to pick and drop cars .
So this is a bit messed up. Due to Covid the rental companies have consolidated the buses. This means a Thrifty bus will be picking up Hertz passengers. I wasnt aware of this so stood around for a while. Apart from that, good service and a nice enough car on the President Circle lot (Compared to Chicago where the best vehicle was a Ford Edge!!)
Already prepaid with a credit card and now saying they can’t give us a car. The customer service at this location is terrible and won’t even give us our money back
Quick easy process. I rented with a debit card with a $200 dep. You go outside and pick the car you want based on what size you choose. They scan your paperwork on the way out the gate. Return was just as easy. Hertz owns dollar and thrifty.
Very long wait, especially when you had a reservation but your name was not on the board so you could see what cat you can get. Should try to get that fixed for members with reservation.
Easy pick up. No one is available to answer the phone during business hours. Called several times to change my reservations never got answer. Returning vehicle easy, a little tricky. Get there in plenty of time, as you have to walk about 2 min for shuttle pick up
Im a golden plus member, worst service ever, they never pick up the phone, have you waiting for 15 minutes then goes to an answer machine and then it haing up,avoid at all cost.
Very good experience! Quick in and out, coming and going! Car was clean and suited my needs just fine.
Easy pick up and drop off.
I returned a car at 4:00 a.m on Friday the19th. I put the keys in a grey drop box at the front of the return area. Now Hertz is going to charge me $250 for key replacement. I have left 3 messages and contacted their national customer service department with little or no results. If they would just call me I could tell them where the keys are. This kind of customer service will not result in many return rentals in the future. 1 star is being generous!
India was the best and very helpful, but the issue between booking and fees is an issue. Things need to be more clear.
The service is great and the cars are beautiful BUT, There are a lot of fees and expenses that arent listed, up front. Expect to pay 1.5 to 2 times what the website suggests.
Can be very confusing when arriving, the hertz is also a dollar and thrifty rental establishment but the signs are so small it could easily be missed for the latter. Upon getting in the rental (with its new certified gold clean sticker) I immediately noticed that the car reeked of cigarette smoke. Than as I looked around it looked like if the interior had been cleaned, it wasnt very well. Car ran well and had no issues (especially since it was a camaro ss) but the cleanliness needed some work big time.
Always a pleasure doing business with this Hertz. I rent a car here every month for the past year and a half, flying in an out of RDU and I have nothing but good things too say. Even when they mess up the upgrade me. The convince of picking up a car and dropping one off is so nice. Thank Hertz for making my travels easy.
God awful customer service. Ive left 6 messages and been on hold for 2 hours because another Hertz location didnt have a vehicle for my reservation.Stuck on the side of the road trying to find a car despite making a reservation. Avoid this company....no wonder they filed for bankruptcy.Ive been to this location multiple times in person. Its not a call center...How the hell can I be on hold for over 2 hours?
Caution: This rental location does not charge the same amount as the the reservation made on Hertz.com website. They add hidden fees (service charge) and they cannot be disputed. Be careful and make sure to call beforehand to see what hidden fees they will add. I was charged an extra $50 on a $111 rental. I have never experienced this at other Hertz locations.Staff was friendly, but took almost an hour from shuttle pickup to driving off lot. Car was nice, clean, and fun to drive but smelled of cigarette smoke at times.
Rental agreement 593885972. Returned my rental and was charged the correct amount. Two days later I was charged an additional 80 dollars for fuel and service even though car was returned full. This store will not answer their phone and I’ve tried about 20 times on different days. The main customer service line unable to contact them either. Even though I am Presidents Circle, I will never rent from these crooks again!
Easy pick up, good choices of cars.
Great experience with Hertz dollar rental at rdu airport. Friendly staff and transport drivers.
Booked my car in March for a trip to see my daughter over Easter weekend. Upon arriving, I waited in line and was assisted by an older woman with a horrible attitude. Once I got to the counter, I had been notified that Hertz changed their policy on April 1 that required a credit check if renting with a debit card, and that an additional deposit of $500 would be due for a 24 hr vehicle rental. No one reached out to notify me of this personally, even though I had my car booked for weeks in advance. As inconvenient as an additional deposit may have been, I had the funds available and was willing to pay. I looked online and had seen on the Hertz website that the deposit through my insurance should be $200 - I attempted to notify the woman at the counter who shrugged me off, pointed to the signs within the lobby and told me that the deposit would be $500. I couldn’t pass the credit check (due to an old vehicle debt, although my score is in the mid 600’s) and subsequently was told I couldn’t rent the car. This was frustrating enough, but the clerk eluded that I could not afford the rental car and I was nearly stranded in Raleigh because of this! I’m not sure if it was my age or my race, but the vibes were so off and I definitely didn’t feel welcomed. (25 year old, african american female) My boyfriend felt the same.Ironically, my in-laws had rented from the same location and had the same horrible worker assist them. They ended up being double charged for their booking (at the location’s error) and were told by her that their deposit would only be $200 although they were also paying with a debit card. I’m not not sure what kind of business is being ran here, but i’m so glad I didn’t spend a dime at this location. I’ve rented with Hertz for years and will now be telling anyone that I can to stay away. Enterprise RDU was able to get me a same day rental with my debit card and no credit check. The deposit was only $400 as well.UPDATE: It’s been two weeks since posting this review and messaging Hertz directly in regards to my experience. No response at all on either end. My in-laws are still disputing their charges and haven’t been able to get any proper assistance despite providing the receipt from when they initially booked their vehicle, and being told to pay for their rental again ($540 plus a $200 deposit - over $1,200). We could’ve quite literally bought a cheap car for the week’s worth of fees we all paid together and at least could’ve dodged the miserable customer service process.
Costumer service was very good but the vehicle was pretty bad.
Had the best experience here, the young lady was so nice and helpful, will rent from here again
Terrible experience! Lady at front desk was rude the entire time! Took a $500 deposit and never got it back!
Affordable rental prices, courteous rental representatives, highly recommend.
I normally get rental cars from National or Enterprise but decided to give Hertz a try this time. This was my first and LAST time using their services. My request was for a minivan, which is what I received. As soon as I approached the white Chrysler Pacifica I noticed sooooooooo many scuff marks and a few dents. It looked like the car had been in an accident. Though it was raining outside, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder could tell that this vehicle had not even been washed - It was extremely dirty. The sticker was on the door indicated it had been cleaned possibly according to COVID standards. Upon entering the vehicle, I had this gooey feeling that the vehicle had only been surfaced clean. It was vacuumed but something just did not seem like it was thoroughly cleaned. As we began packing items in the van we noticed that the lining in the trunk of the vehicle was torn around the seams. In the seat it looked like someone may have poured a sticky drink and chips and only wiped up what they could see but did not go any further. I went back up to the customer service desk to see if I could get a different vehicle but the line was so long and I had to get on the road. The van drove good and was good on gas but never again Hertz. Then when I turned the vehicle in, I had a $17.50 charge .....I had already pre-paid for my vehicle and was not a day late. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
My flight departs RDU at 5:15am with a boarding time of 4:35am. This Hertz location doesn’t opens until 4:00am!!! 😡 The worst organization skills ever!! At least give an alternative drop off method or warn the traveler that you are closed until 4 am!!!
I love that we actually got to pick which car!
Originally reserved a car through dollar rental (wonderful prices!) but had to go to hertz to pick it up. The parking lot was confusing and the car I was originally assigned still had crumbs in the back seat - the staff was very friendly and helpful though and didnt balk at giving me another car!
Got taken here by shuttle instead of Dollar... Prefer Dollar to Hertz, but still only had to wait a short time and were on our way.
Came here on company business, the reservation was made from my boss online. Since I didn’t have the company card it was reserved on, my boss had to physically come here to complete the reservation. Reservations department number was no help either. Thanks for delaying my work trip. I’ve never seen a vehicle rental company so unorganized.
Lady at the front desk didn’t let me finish my sentence when she said “ I don’t have nothing available” and I was like ok bye, I’ll take my money somewhere else. Rude service.I was going to rent a van for the next week or so. But she was rude. It was a curly hair lady that I wish I knew her name.
Good setup with easy shuttle access to and from both terminals. The office is closed until 7am but you can still return vehicles before 5am and there is a shuttle to take you to your terminal.
When there are multiple competitors on same street, anyone would expect good service. I wish, I read some reviews before booked reservation. Service was one of the worst one. Please, fix your attitude towards customer service, its horrible. Customer service rep made us feel guilty for booking the reservation via Priceline. I have been always Enterprise customer for any business trips, and decided to try out Hertz, and totally regret it.By the way, stop judging people by their outfit. Me coming to you after yard work in regular work clothes doesnt mean I deserve rude service. And looks like business responses only to good reviews, that means a lot :-)
The lady at the desk was helpful. However I’m PC and they only had 2 cars in PC I asked if they can bring more in and they said no. Meanwhile they had all the other cars in Reserved, there was no one coming for them. Overall I was a huge fan of hertz, but lately I switched to National as when I went next door they asked me what do I want for my midsize rate and I got a Infiniti QX80. You’ll never ever get that by hertz. I’m long done with hertz. The customer service is their last priority if it even is a priority to them at all. It’s 100% worth renting from National Car and avoid Hertz at all costs.Hertz should learn from their competitors such as National.
I had a slightly complicated situation but there were three gentlemen employees and that included a manager that went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you.
The management here went above and beyond to make sure I was not just compensated but actually happy by the time I left after my engine blew.
Brutal - Manager, Brad, was rude and unhelpful. Made a one-way reservation from DCA to Raleigh on 1/16 but the drop off location in Raleigh was permanently closed. Called Hertz customer service who told me to drop it off at a location on S. Wilmington st....which was also permanently closed. By the time i was told to drop the car off at RDU i was 4 hours over my initial reservation which Brad charged me for after driving around all day, trying to return their vehicle. His solution was How bout we split the difference?.....Just a complete lack of awareness and awful customer services on Brads part. I rent cars weekly for work and have always loved the ease of Hertz/presidents circle but i am rethinking whether i want to support any longer.
It was the worst our flight was delayed and when we got there it was closed. Worst experience ever. It was not our fault we were stuck on a plan that ended up an hour and a half delayed. I would give negative stars if possible
