Fast, speedy service. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful and the staff was friendly. My husband and I were in and out in less than 30 minutes. If you need a car, go to this Hertz on Capital Blvd. Great service and a wide variety of cars.
Renter Beware of Malfunctioning Vehicles. My second time at this location and will not be back. Both times I made a reservation online for a quicker in and out process as time is of the essence. Both times I was not greeted in a timely fashion and forced to wait an hour to get the car. This is the first car rental company that makes you wait while they clean the car instead of getting ahead of the game and doing it in advance like everyone else. I sat there and watched 6 people come in after me and leave with a car before me. Some were walk-ins and I was told reservations take precedent over walk ins. While I was waiting for over an hour and 30 minutes I overheard a lady bringing a car back due to malfunction which was scary to hear. I finally received the car and was told the reason I had to wait for over an hour and other people went before me was because I was not a “Gold Member.” Already running late and had to cancel my appointment due to Hertz shortcomings I headed on the road hoping to make my next appointment..not even 30 minutes on the highway and the tire blew out. I called roadside assistance and it took one hour and 17 minutes for them to even answer the phone. 3 hours later on the side of the highway pregnant, hungry and having to use the bathroom we were finally being towed to the nearest car service station where we paid for the tire to get patched. We never made it to our destination due to fear of another malfunctioning occurring. We called the store and asked for the manager to call us back. Of course we never heard from anyone. Someone removed the hold from my credit card and didn’t charge me which is what the least they could have done. Two and a half weeks later they ended up charging my credit card again. This location is horrible, needs new management and the entire staff needs to be retrained. I am a manager at a hotel and would be mortified if any of my customers were treated so poorly simply because they are not a “Gold Member.” It’s also horrible practice to continue to rent malfunctioning vehicles to people-you are going to end up killing someone. Take care of your vehicles and customers as they are the ones paying your paychecks.
Made reservation month ahead. Driving 11 hours to New York, so reserved class G car, Buick Regal or similar for nice roomy, comfortable ride for us. Even called last week to confirm. Went to get rental. All they had for me was either a Mustang, or a Suburben. Not even close to what I wanted to drive for 11 hours. No other car available. I guess they did not think it was worth getting something in from another location or the airport. I am a gold club member and have been using them for years. No more. Went to nearest Enterprise and immediately got a Sonata. Easy to see why Hertz declaring bankruptcy.
Customer service phone lines were down for 6 days. I called and mid conversation a customer service rep hung up the phone on me. I tried calling back, they kept picking up and hanging up the phone. Trash location.
Ive rented from here twice before and it was a good experience each time. They get pretty busy but they do their best to move the line as quickly as possible. It was a smoorh rental process for me each time and the employees I worked with were kind and attentive.
What a breeze! We came in sat down and in no time had our car ready to go! My husband read some reviews and was cautious at first. We were happily surprised at the customer service and quality of the car! We are under 25 but with AAA we were able to get the same great deal just like everyone else! Jim treated us with respect and even recommended awesome locations based on what he learned from listening to us!
Made Reservations online for the weekend of the 4th and Amy the manager made everything smooth. Got me in and out and on the road in less than 10 minutes. She was nice and very friendly. If you rent here ask for Amy you want be disappointed.
Had an appointment to be picked up from the body shop at 8:30 a.m. Someone called me stating they would be there shortly. After an hour of waiting, I called them just to find out no one knows anything about me being picked up. I had to take additional time off work dealing with this unprofessional company. I would rate them a zero if I could. Be aware of this place!!
I showed up and they wouldn’t give me the vehicle I prepaid for online. Manager wouldn’t even talk to me.So, I booked a pickup truck rental online with the driver (me) registered as “under 25”.When I arrived I was told I COULD NOT rent the truck because I am under 25.Being in the military or a current AAA member are both reasons Hertz will offer an exemption to the under 25 rule (I am both).The manager was no help and would not even come out of his office to talk to me when I asked. The woman at the sales desk tried her best and was polite but offered no help.I had to call Hertz corporate customer service to cancel my rental because in store they couldn’t cancel.On the phone with Hertz, the customer service employee said he had “no idea” why they wouldn’t let me rent the truck because I was double qualified for the under 25 exemption being military and AAA. He asked me to explain that to the woman at the desk and the only answer I could get from her (after running back and forth to manager) was “no you’re under 25”. The customer service employee canceled my booking and apologized multiple times for how this location was handling the situation.I’ve rented a pickup through Hertz at a different location before. This location is just ran by garage, disrespectful management.The Enterprise down the road helped me out and I got a truck same day. I explained my situation that had just happened with Hertz and they told me that they frequently have people come in there and complain about this Hertz location because of the staff and policies.This is the first negative experience I’ve had with Hertz, but I will be completely staying away from now on because of how bad this was.

I called 8 times prior to picking up my rental car to make sure I could leave my car at their location. They never answered and would not let me leave it there. They also wouldn’t honor my father’s corporate rate. Enterprise is much better! Don’t waste your time or money here.
Vehicle wasn’t ready when we got there, had to wait for it to be cleaned despite arriving in our correct time frame. Ended up being the wrong vehicle, staff member said “I make 13$ an hour there’s only so much I can do about it.” At that point we figured, fine we will call hertz directly. While waiting more then 30 minutes for car to be cleaned, I asked to use their rest room (which is in eye sight from customer service area) and was told no, no public restroom. I said I’m a customer (who happens to be 6 months pregnant but I didn’t mention that part because why should I have to), to which the rep responded again, no public restroom. So even though we had to wait, for the wrong car to be cleaned, and were told there was no support they could offer us because they only make 13$ an hour, I was unable to even use the restroom.... probably wouldn’t even bother writing this review if they demonstrated the slightest care for customer experience.
Customer Beware - these people are not afraid to take your money and leave you out to dry.But first for some context: A truck was needed to tow a trailer from one place to another. We looked up the tow spec on the trucks and reserved one we would like. When we arrived we were greeted with the poorest customer service I have seen outside of some gas stations with bars over the windows... but no actually I would take that over this establishment, because I can actually buy a useful product.I showed my reservation and told them we were using it to tow a trailer up, and when they gave us the Ram 1500 I thought we would be good to go.Fast forward a couple hours and I am looking over the truck preparing to set up the trailer. But there is no hitch.So I review the paperwork, and there is a clause in the brochure that any towing with the vehicle voids the contract made with Hertz. Obviously this would not do, so I called Hertz and they said just to take it back and tell them (again) that I needed it to tow.When we attempted to return the truck and pick up a tow vehicle we were told that not only could they not provide a truck to tow the trailer, they would not refund any of the $300 we paid. We called billing, got a manager on the line, and all of them sent us away empty handed and out $300.TL:DR Do not give this company your money unless you are comfortable with the idea of being robbed blind. Im not saying it will definitely happen to you, but it very well might.
I have been trying all day to extend my rental with hertz. No one is aswering the phone. Picking up and hanging up on my. When i call back put me on hold dont come back. Sorryest business i have ever seen. Then call 1800 number. They cant extend need major credit card. Sorry business i ever seen. This will be my last time dealing with hertz. Read the reviews have bad reviews now i see exactly why.
I paid $450 for a rental online Expedia then when to pick up my car they charge charge me another $559 then I returned the car a day early and they charged another $150. On top they gave me a car that was not in good condition. I will never rent from them again. Hertz is the worst, I will let everyone know how bad they are and will put on social media.
Another customer facing business that is short staffed, under staffed and poorly trained. 90 minutes to check out with a reservation. Pressured to pick up early in lieu of over booking on limited inventory. Over charged on pre fueling and over charged on insurance. Rent if you must but read the fine line and details.
I would NEVER recommend to get a car from them as they charged me for a day that I didn’t have the car and because I prepaid to ensure I had a rental and now they are saying that I can’t get my money because of that. A RIPOFF. Rent elsewhere. Not to mention the hassle of getting someone who wants to help you. They really about stealing people hard earned money
DO NOT RENT A VEHICLE HERE!!!!When I booked this rental on Travelocity.com, I paid for most of it through the website. My balance remaining was $34.70 to be paid at the Hertz location. THEY RAN MY CREDIT, and ended up Charging me a DEPOSIT of $534.30. Luckily enough for me, I had enough to cover that amount. (All rental car companies charge a deposit- usually around $250). I returned my car on Sunday morning at 9:38am. Since this rental company is not open on the weekends, they automatically charged me one late fee of $142. Then they charged me another late fee of $70 and another fee of $1. I called Monday morning to speak with someone about these charges and they said that all the charges would be reversed by midnight, when they settled charges for the weekend. I asked them to please do that as soon as possible, which they did in about 2 hours (the only thing they did right). So, they deposited $711 into my account. When I calculated all the charges and did the math, they had shorted me by $36.30. So, I called back. The lady that answered the phone, could not even find my reservation and gave me the Hertz Billing 800-number. So, I called and spoke with the representative. I explained the situation. (I even cleaned and vacuumed the car before I dropped it off.) To make a long story short, Hertz is now doing an internal investigation to make sure I returned the car when I said I did. The investigation is going to take 5-7 business days. They are going to review the security footage to verify if I did return it when I said I did. Maybe Hertz is having a bad financial time or maybe they are just a scetchy organization, Im not sure. But I WILL NEVER RENT from Hertz AGAIN! By the time they took all of the deposit and late fees of nearly $750, I only had $30 left in my bank account! If you DO rent from here, use a credit card because the deposit for using a debit card is over $500. Im not sure what the deposit is for using a credit card but the representative said it was less. REALLY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. If Hertz is not open on the weekends, they should NOT automatically take late fees. It could cause overdrafts (it almost caused an overdraft on my bank account). Again, I WILL NEVER RENT FROM HERTZ AGAIN! Your bad business practices have lost you a customer FOR LIFE!!!
I’m from NY and was visiting NC. I booked a rentalTo get to my destination which was an hour away. I called the location prior to me getting there and made them aware I was going to be a few moments late. They took my name and confirmation numberAnd they advised that was fine. When I get toThe location no one greets me first and foremost & no one even has a mask on.but I get to the location not even 10 mins later and they advised no cars was available.
Rented a vehicle and there was an issue with the license plate. I was very satisfied the managers handling of the situation. Im a long time Hertz and will continue to be.
This place is terrible. The customer service is horrible. Made a reservation the lady at the desk told me I must have made my reservation after 6 pm because they dont have any cars available. When in fact I made my reservation prior to that then she proceed to tell me that she called and left a message but clearly wasnt the case. They did not offer to check other locations for availability or anything. This was by far one of the worst rental or I guess non-rental experiences I have had. I will never use Hertz again.
I’m not hard to please, but man this experience was awful. Booked a pickup with Hertz at the body shop I where was dropping my car off. 20 minutes later than the appt time they still hadn’t arrived. No one answered the phone at the office. I tried manyyyy times. Had to get my own ride. Once there, I waited almost an hour for my rental which was given to me covered in bird poop. Not the “gold standard” sanitation that’s plastered all over their website. Just disappointed at the lack of service and that no one cared to even apologize for leaving me stranded. Would definitely recommend a DIFFERENT rental company or at least a different location.
My husband and I got 5-star treatment here from Bruce after having one of the most horrible experiences at Enterprise in Knightdale. Weve joined Hertzs world-class Gold Star Membership and this is where well be renting our vehicles from now on.Bruce was really nice, professional and knowledgeable. We wanted a mid-size SUV and he gave us three options and asked us to choose what we wanted. After two weeks, we returned the vehicle and he still addressed us by our names, we were impressed. Thank you Bruce for the superior customer service, we are looking forward to renting from you again in the future.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I recently got into a horrible accident where I was rear ended. I intended to rent a vehicle due to an insurance claim and was given the run around so badly. I understand the age requirements and credit card policy but the communication is extremely disappointing. I wasted two trips to this facility even after calling to confirm that everything was good to go. Please go somewhere else; management must have no idea how their employees are conducting business.
As a HERTZ GOLD member, I booked a premium rental car. I paid $30 to Uber to the location, I sat for 20+ minutes while the ONE employee sat at his desk not helping or acknowledging me and the other 4 people waiting. He was on his computer, on his cell phone, ignoring everyone. When he finally calls me up to the desk, he informs me that ZERO cars are available. When I showed him my confirmation and everything from Hertz, he literally shrugged me off and goes “there’s nothing I can do, what do you want here?” Maybe my car smartas... the other people waiting were equally disgusted as I was. The employee was rude, smug, and I could barely understand what he was saying half the time. I couldn’t even understand him. Avoid this location like the plague, just use the airport location if possible.
The website doesnt tell you the Kia Dealership location is closed and this location is hard to find but very nice customer service.
They were very busy, just ahead of a 3 day weekend. Was helped by Bruce and even though he was juggling a lot, he never let me know it. Took care of all the paperwork, smiled throughout the process, and took care of me like I was the most important customer there was. He did the same for the couple ahead of me too.Wanted to also point out a woman there named Alyson. She worked hard to address a customers needs and issues the whole time too. Grace under fire!They also had a team in the back scrubbing down every inch of the insides of each car by hand. Making sure all the surfaces were Covid Free! I have kids, including a newborn, so their hard work was really appreciated!A way better experience than Ive had at other locations.
Geico made me a reservation here because I had a car accident and I was getting a rental car until mine was ready they didnt have a car for a day or two then when I got there they didnt have a car that within the $50 budget and a Geico allows me so I had to pay another 25 out of my pocket and then I swipe my debit card they wouldnt take it I didnt have major credit card I couldnt leave with no car
Devon Patel gets a huge 5-Star review for his fantastic customer service and genuine care for his clients. Hertz was not trying to do me any favors, and then I talked with Devon and everything changed. I can see why he is the store manager - Hertz please take note and implement customer service training... let Devon lead it!

Just disappointing .... First I had a reservation to rent a car and on the day of my reservation, I called to see what I would need to rent the car as the confirmation email I received was very vague. The person answered the phone and said ; I am busy helping other customers either hold or call me back in 30minutes. (I was thinking so if I hold will I be on hold for 30minutes) so I said I will call back.Secondly, get to the location and they don’t accept my ccard so I had to go to the bank and transfer money . I told the guy I would have to go transfer funds he said okay. Left the location to go to the bank and came right back. Third, Started the process again and he said your card declined and then I asked well how much did you charge? He said I charged the rental fee and a $200 deposit. Soo he knew I had to leave and go to the bank and he didn’t say hey make sure you transfer enough to cover the deposit and the rental fee. Like use common sense sir!! I should have canceled my reservation when I called and was told to either hold or call back. Because that was a red flag from the start... short end of the story go to a local car rental place for your in town rentals, they are friendlier and more understanding of your time.
Stay away from this location! Because no matter what there will be an extra charge when you return your vehicle! Their response to everything is its Hertz policy I wonder if the comparate is aware of whats going on in this location?

Very nice group of employees and very helpful. The staff definitely cares about their customers and will help you in any way they can. Hoping to not need them again, as I used them while my car was being repaired after a car accident... but should I or anyone I know need a rental, I’ll be recommending. Especially this location. It is a small location, so I do recommend trying to pickup and drop off your rental at opening hours if possible!

Came here to rent a car. Was informed that policy changed two weeks ago and I had to pay with a credit card because im under 25. I dont have a credit card. I asked them if someone older came, could they pay with a debit card. The man said yes. My friends dad drove 30min out to help us pay with debit card. As soon as he got there, the man changed his story and said since it was now a same day rental he could only use credit card as well. Never thought to mention that to us. When I confronted him about it, he straight up lied to my face. Wish I had this guys name as he was absolutely horrible to deal with.
Agent was pleasant and helpful, and the process was efficient. Only complaint was that bug splatter wasnt cleaned off the windshield. I had no expectations that a cargo van would be pristine, but a clean windshield is important.
It’s just difficult to get help here - like they seem closed. I don’t believe it’s the employees fault - just an impossible corporate situation.

Perfect place to get Covid-19. No Hertz worker wears a mask and Hertz does not even provide safety shields between you and the workers. Lobby is tiny and space in front of desks is less than 5 feet so you will get a full face dose of Covid.
The location is small so if youre dropping someone off it might be a little tricky getting back out on the road, but thats a downside they cant do a whole lot about. Aside from that, the staff is very friendly and professional. My girlfriend also rented a car from them, they didnt have a clean compact ready so they washed, vacuumed, and wiped it down quickly for her. While we waited for the car to get ready, someone was complaining to an employee about an issue, but the employee handled it with patience and aplomb. Good crew here, they should feel good about their work.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Car was supposed to be reserved but was not available. Did not get promised call back when vehicle was available, then got charged $40 upon returning car on some bogus charge. Called store and was told that refund would be issued. Have now been waiting 3 days to get confirmation from store mgr. that refund has been issued. Never using them again. 4/17 Update on refund. Its been a month and several calls, including manager and still have not been refunded. Called billing dept. today and came away with another promise. I guess we will see if this resolved the issue.

My vehicle was at the Chrysler dealership for service. Someone from Hertz showed up to pick me up. I was expecting someone from another agency. I arrived and was offered a Mini (soccer mom) van. There was NOOOO!!!!!! way I was leaving in that. But my man Devon Patel saw to it I was placed in something more my speed. Im looking forward to doing more business with Devon.

Made a reservation 8 days ago for a minivan. The day of pick up, as I am walking out the door to get the van, they call and say it’s unavailable. The day of. I’m leaving for vacation in the AM with 5 people plus a dog and they tell me the day of. Don’t try to help find another van and actually said “we don’t know what to do” on the voicemail to me. Do yourself a favor and pick another car rental company.

Bruce is awesome! The workers here really care about their customers. I feel bad though because I think their short staffed but they do absolutely everything they can to help their customers and it really shows! They go the extra mile to make sure youre satisfied.
Newly relocated to the area and was referred to this Hertz location by my auto insurance.The management team, and their agent Bruce were amazing. They definitely went above and beyond with offering pick up service before I even asked. They were able to work with me on my extended days due to delay on my auto repair.They definitely helped with having one less thing to worry about, when youre already stressed.Thank you for the awesome service guys!

I had to get a car at Hertz because my ca was at Leith Jeep and they were out of their own customer cars. I had to release a 50.00 dollar deposit at Hertz which they said would be on hold. I only had their car one day and it has been well over 10 days and my deposit is not back in my account and I cant get any satisfaction from their customer service. I will never rent from them again. Totally unsatisfied.
Horrible experience. Sent to Hertz for an accident rental. Getting the initial rental was fine. Needed an SUV for the upcoming weekend and was told I could pick up an SUV on Thursday morning and i was guaranteed another SUV would be available. arrive and no SUV. Sat there for 2 hours while they attempted to find a vehicle. they did not call anyone instead laughed and joked and went out side to smoke. they told me to check that evening or next day which was unacceptable as i was going out of town same day. I canceled a reservation with another car company because I was guaranteed a rental. I ended up having to find a rental on my own with another car company, spend a couple hundred dollars more then I would have, had i kept original reservation. the manager Devin did not care at all or try to help me in any way. No one called to follow up or to let me know they found anything. to add more insult after hours or trying to find another rental, being over 5 hours late for family vacation, once i arrived to return their rental their were several SUVS in the parking lot. I would not go back to this location very disappointed. From the looks of other reviews I can see they need to revamp their staff. Too many bad complaints!
It was in a very fast manner. In addition, when I needed a phone or electric, there was no hesitation transporting me to my home to obtain such information. Overall, Im a very satisfied customer.
Very expensive.Car was in poor condition and smelled disgusting received car at 11:am on a Monday returned 9:am Wednesday and was charged almost $400.00 will definitely go with someone else next time im in town which is pretty often. Cars brakes were not safe and you can hear all types of clunks coming from under the vehicle.If I were not pressed for time I would had definitely asked for my money back

I had a great experience at the Capital Blvd. Hertz. I am a AAA member so I got a good price. When I went to pick up the car, Chris took me through the process quickly and was attentive, helpful and nice to talk to.. He gave me some great info on Hertz Car sales after I mentioned I was in the market for a used car. But what put the service over the top was Chris effort to help me when I had to change my reservation. And the ease of doing so, without hassle, through the Hertz Reservation hotline was the best! I see why you are #1!!
Will happily update my review with more stars if my experience completes satisfactorily, but my experience thus far has been incredibly poor. I think this location is clearly understaffed, I have waited over 30 minutes on hold to speak to someone, multiple times, have waited over 3 hours for call backs. I am at the point where after reading through enough reviews that I am prepared to show up a few hours early to pick up my rental to offset the assumed logistical delay on their end.To Hertz Corporate: This location CLEARLY needs more staff, I am sure the staff here performs admirably given their resource constraints, but you are damaging your name by allowing a location like this to operate this way. I have been renting from you for years and this is by far the worst experience Ive ever had.Update: Seamless and solid experience once I walked through the door, but the phone experiences keeps them from getting 5 stars.

I had a car reserved and was suppose to get picked up at 10:30 from Capitol Collision. I arrived at Capitol Collision at 10:10 early enough to drop my wrecked car off and sign paper work . The receptionist also called them as a courtesy to let them know I had arrived and was waiting 11:00 no Hertz I called to ask them were they on the way somehow they hadn’t sent anyone. They finally arrive at 11:15 I entered the building and was then told we have to clean the car so I ask how long will that be no direct answer at 11:30 I am updated that I will get a clean car or another whichever comes first. So I’m now sitting and waiting for a car to be cleaned still haven’t done any paperwork remember I was suppose to be picked up at 10:30 so 45 minutes waiting on them to pick me up because they forgot or whatever. They ask you what time you want to be picked up I told them a time because that was the time that worked for me not knowing I would have to wait 45 minutes to get picked up and then hour for the car to be cleaned. This was ridiculous if you know you don’t have cars don’t reserve any. So I finally do the paperwork and walk out to the parking lot of Hertz at 12:00 wait for pictures contract etc and drive off. There was no sense of urgency or need to satisfy the customer being that you didn’t pick me up on time. Oh I did receive a sorry for the inconvenience. 2 hours is not inconvenience. I don’t care who paying for the rental I will never rent from Hertz again.

Went to Hertz, to get a replacement car due to a car accident. When I go in to get my vehicle, they find a car and take me out to get in the car. The associate begins getting info off of the car and as I walk around the vehicle I see the front and side bumper was detached. I told the associate and he said not to worry about it because he was going to take a photo of everything. I then proceeded to tell him I didnt want a car that was damaged and he persisted to say it wasnt a big deal. I told him that I will not leave this place with a broken car and he exhaled loudly and went in to go get me another car. He then went out and got another car and I saw no damaged. He has me sign and says have a good day. The vehicle I ended up with, was not properly cleaned as I noticed once I left. The pictures posted are from that vehicle. I called the location for no one to answer. I went onto Twitter to express my concern and a Hertz rep asked for my info and said the local manager would contact me. Excellent customer service. Reasonable rates. The parking lot can be a little scary to get in and out of when they are busy, but otherwise this is a great rental option!
HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!!! I rented a car from this facility because of a car accident. Insurance company arranged all of it. After picking the car up. I got a call for a week every day asking me to pick up the car thatI already had. Every time I told them I had the car, and I had to call over and over until they believe me I had it. When I dropped off the car.I was told to expect my deposit back but nothing happened. 15 days later, I got a bill for the whole rental amount that the insurance company should be paying. I called the office and was told they wouldn’t fix this, that I had to arrange a reimbursement from my insurance company. Besides this, they charged 3 extra days. Which makes me think they do this often if you are not paying attention and they lie about it.

Horrible customer service! I visited this location on 5/24/2017. I attempt to contact this location several times, before coming around 2pm est. No one ever answered my calls. Once, I arrived. The person working the front desk was not pleasant at all. They failed to greet me, thank me, or welcome me back to this establishment. I was not to happy with this treatment. Last but not least, the driver who dropped me back off to my car, after returning the rental. Was very careless. I felt in danger, and very uncomfortable. This will be my last time using this company. I will also send this email to corporate. Customer Service is the most important part of a business. Please make sure staff are trained to understand this. Nobody likes going to a company were they dont feel appreciated or welcomed.

Hertz is extremely expensive. Enterprise gives better service. The staff is stupid and heyt are not at all clear on the phone. I had a very bad experience. I am never ever going to recommend hertz to anyone
I rented a car online a week before my vacation and the day Im supposed to pick up my car and leave for vacation they deny me the car. On top of that they wont refund my money for the rental I was denied for 5-7 business days. Not a very good experience.Update: its 2 weeks later and Im still waiting on a $400 refund from these guys

I wouldnt recommend this location. Ive been calling for some days now with no answer. When I did get an answer I was left on hold for 15 minu tes ! I called back three times and no answer. All I wanted was some information on what was needed for me to rent a vehicle. Completely unprofessional. Completely annoyed 😞😡😠
The service at Hertz car rental was excellent they were very kind and polite, they also did a great job of getting me in and out in a timely matter.
Edited from yesterday: I had the car for less than 24 hours, drove less than 30 miles and Tire Pressure warning light came on. Pressure in both front tires was 10-12 PSI lower than it needed to be. Do not rent from them. If your insurance company selects them, demand somewhere else.The front desk people were nice. The driver was an hour late to pick me up from the auto body shop. They had scheduled to have me picked up at 8:30, we called at 8:40 and Hertz said they were on their way. At 9:35 he showed up, insisted he wasnt late and that I was wrong and that everyone at the Auto Shop was a liar and they lie all the time. Got to the shop, took a while to get the vehicle. They did not complete a walk through to inspect the appearance of the vehicle with me (for previous cracks/dents/etc). Instead they washed the car while I was waiting. Now that the water has dried, I can see scrapes and dents all over the car. I have called several times to talk to someone, but of course, they dont answer their phone.I literally wouldnt have taken the car if the process to be picked up and obtain the vehicle hadnt taken two hours, making me late for work.I would never tell anyone to use this place.The dudes at the front were nice though!! At least theres that!
Very friendly and helpful staff, but there were two problems with our rental. The lesser was that we were told wed get a specific car model rather than the or equivalent which didnt happen resulting in some sore spines over the next 3 weeks. The second problem was that the cars oil cap had not been closed prior to our collecting the car, resulting in an oil smeared windshield over the next thousand miles, and a constant smell of burning oil over the full 4 thousand.Neither were catastrophic, but both reduced the pleasure of our holidays.

Great customer service all around. They just need more reps working. Ive never seen more than 2 people there at a time. Poor guys are always swamped trying to answer the phone and work with in-person customers.

You have a couple of the agents who appear to be professional and have good customer service but the rest including management of this area (Patel) and (Dotson) and a couple of agents of this location can be rather rude with no follow-up unless it suits them. Their view of customer service being last on their list which makes it bad for the agents who who work there. Hertz period is just awful especially when you are trying to make reservations or just a simple follow-up. Your complaints is just a waste of time. I would encourage people to write to their vice president of customer service, Laura C. Smith, Hertz Hqtrs, 8501 Williams Rd., Estero, FL 33928. If no response, then write to the CEO, Kathryn Marinello. Bottomline, dont rent from Hertz!
Busy location. Crowded. Super friendly staff though.
1.The car was an older model car, not the kind you would normally find at the Hertz dealer.2. There were no other option in the class we ordered and we made reservations in advance.3. The car appeared to have been sitting unused for awhile and was dirty, there was sand in the bottom of the trunk, visible to the eye. l mentioned it to the rep and he stated someone probably went to the beach!4. Gold Service was not to be found at this location, only the Hertz name.
Trying calling and see if they answer. They refused to answer the telephone and or place you on long hold/never answer the call. However, once you are there, service is great.
In the beginning of January I rented a car for a trip I had to make, the staff was friendly the car was nice at a glance. Started our trip which happened to be in a snow storm, at night. Realize the windows was really smudged. Realized as we were going down the road that there was a loose piece of plastic under the car and a brake light was out. Most importantly the washer fluid didnt work, at all. Not a good thing to happen in a snow storm. Shouldnt there be a basic check of all cars when they are returned? I mentioned all of these problems when I returned the car and got 30 dollars off my rental. Cause 30 dollars makes up for not being able to see out of a windshield in a snow storm. It was completely unsafe to let anyone drive a vehicle that wasnt checked out before renting.
Its OK... Maybe I have high expectations given the frequency in which I travel, but this location leaves a lot to be desired. There was no gold club service which I can understand given the size of the place. However, they were understaffed and the cars still had to be cleaned resulting in more waiting. I recommend going to the airport if you can.
Quick and easy pickup.
It was terrible..i was in a bind and needed a car asap..almost life or death type. I made reservations..the took my 18 for me opting for there insurance.blah blah blah.just to get turned down because i didnt have a major Credit Card..i had my bank card Visa..and they had NO other methods to make payable for a person with No Credit Cards..for the little ppl with money and no credit cards please add another type of payment. Went right next door to another car rental and drove away in a very nice truck.
