Went online saw what I wanted, called and spoke to Scott. Very nice salesman, knew what they had in stock. Told me about the vehicle over the phone. I was traveling from SC to check it out. When we got there the car was clean and the price range was in our budget. Test drive it and bought it home. The whole process took about 4 hours everyone was on point, they even gave a discount cause the sunroof padding was loose, thanks. Checked their inventory online and found a couple of prospects for our son’s first car. They offered free CarFax online so I was able to find vehicles with only 1 owner and no reported accidents very easily. When I got to the lot, Gene came out to meet and talk to me. He was very pleasant, helpful and no pressure to buy. The manager was also helpful and willing to deal on the vehicle I did buy from them. Clean vehicle and runs well. Would recommend you check this dealer out if looking for a pre-owned vehicle.

Update on the truck I bought 2-3 months ago. Not only did I have to spend $500 on a new shift cable 3 weeks after purchasing the vehicle, I am now spending 3,000 dollars to repair the WHOLE front end that they just rigged up with clamps and clips to make it last longer until they could sell the vehicle. And they took my last review down off their page so they wouldn’t look bad. This “dealership” is a joke.

The process from introduction, to negotiation, to purchase was streamlined and easy. Dan was honest and understood what I wanted and the parameters of what would ensure I became a customer. The car industry is filled with sub par experiences and some of that is due to the way we, as customers, treat our salespeople. Try being upfront, honest and clear in what it is you want when purchasing a car. Understand they need to make money too. If they don’t, then they won’t be there when you want to buy another car.Lastly, I have no doubt I will buy another car from Dan. I will also be recommending him to others.

We saw an ad on Facebook marketplace for a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. We visited Belmonte to see the car. After looking the car over Scott came out with the keys. He gave us information about the vehicle and asked if we wanted to take a test drive. After the test drive we decided we wanted the car. I would not recommend. Not sincere in the information they give you when youre interested in purchasing from them. Known mechanical problems with a vehicle on their lot that are brought to their attention, are met with a song and dance. Avoiding any sincerity in what they originally convey in making good towards being truthful to their word in selling to you. They will not communicate in earnest if you know what youre talking about, when they try to sell a vehicle leaking oil from its timing chain cover. The salesman told me the vehicle is listed for full asking price. He told me how much the vehicle would be with tax and tags out the door. Apparently, they are satisfied with selling a vehicle for the full listed price that faces a repair of nearly $1,000.00 if not more. They expect $7950.00 for an suv to leak oil over its engine, under carriage and your driveway. 2012 Ford Escapes are problematic for oil leaks. The owner Dan told me he was willing to work on a price because of this known fact. That never happened though. Makes one wonder what other information is with held about all of the vehicles and the full listed price is still expected for it.

Belmonte collision shop! Not bad doing dealership work paperwork etc selling a car? No problem either very persuasive on telling you the car is great and excellent cause they did all the maintenance on which they showed me a spread sheet of all the mx done not actual receipts of parts. Bought the car without seeing it in person, took their word for it that it was in great comdition no accidents etc and even had a photographer go double check for me. Got the car a couple weeks later yes it looked good just to notice a 6/10 resprayed job with a lot of lose and very poorly installed bumpers panels etc. been drivimg the car for less than 100miles and already have a check engine light, this morning the car overheated for a few minutes while i was heading out of home temp went back down only mentioned multiple times they have 40 years of experience yeah getting customers to buy shady cars. Dont do like me and go and take a look at the car in person dont trust carfaxes either said no accidents and my pax read quarter completely bondoed with very poor fitment of taillight and trunk

Sold a vehicle that had a prior headgasket done. Did not disclose this when asked about the condition - provided every service record BUT the one that shows the recent headgasket job done prior to sale.Vehicle driven less than 500 miles no coolant, CEL (Check engine light on) - Taken to dealer found MAJOR leaks when pressurized in coolant tanks and hoses behind engine. Parts ordered and will be testing for headgasket next.I contacted Dan the owner of Belmonte Auto to make them aware of the issue hoping we could work something out if that was the case. He was extremely rude and tried to say im trying to pull something. Well if that headgasket is bad again will be getting a lawyer for a lemon law return. Thanks Belmonte A+ Classy experience.Would not recommend purchasing a vehicle here. Shady.

There’s no perfect science to buying a used car, but Belmonte made my experience a decent one. Great place to buy an import. Phil’s a very nice salesman and gave me a great deal on a trade. Vince is a fair businessman; resolved an issue I was frustrated about and took extra steps to make it right. Everyone I encountered inside and outside the office was great.

I bought an Audi from them in January for $7,000 cash. I gave them one star because they replaced a broken wiper fluid reservoir and they fixed the backs of the seats, which fell off whenever you sat down after a few days. This was good service.BUT, after a week or so, I started smelling oil burning when the car was driven a few miles. I checked the oil and it was below minimum and I put a couple of quarts in. I called Belmonte and told them about the apparent oil leak (which did not leave oil under the car when parked).I asked them id I could return the car, but they refused. Then I asked them to buy the car back for less money, but they said no, we dont do that.I had a mechanic look at it and he said it had several oil leaks that were just blowing oil around on the underside of the engine. It would cost $4,000 to fix. I spent my money on the car, so I couldnt fix it.In the end, I was able to sell it to a car flipper for $3200. I LOST THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS BECAUSE BELMONTE DECEIVED ME. I believe they knew about the problems because if anyone drove it, they would have smelled the oil burning!DONT BUY FROM THEM!THEY ARENT TRUSTWORTHY!

Bought a Silverado 2500HD from Dan. Was treated well, very respectfully. I had truck checked out at the Chevy dealer, they gave it a thumbs up. They wouldn’t negotiate but price was fair....I know larger used trucks are hard to come by. Spare tire and jack were missing, Dan got me a new set within a week after purchase. They also fixed a tear in the seat, looks like new.

Belmonte Auto import will get u. Be careful. They sold me 2014 Audi with a value cover gasket problem, check engine light came on a couple of weeks after buying. I was told to bring it to there mechanic 3 times. I ask them what was the sound when it starts up? I was told what ever it is we will take care of it. Now it sold as is. 20,000 car. Ladies be careful.

Stopped by to check out a 2012 Mitsu. Salesman came out to greet us, unmasked..we asked him to put one on for our safety and comfort, he refused.Guess not wearing a mask for five minutes is worth losing a sale. Needless to say well spend thousands of dollars with a car seller who shows even a basic level of concern and care for our safety..I seriously doubt a car lot filled with salespeople who refuse to wear masks when asked are going to be that concerned with selling me a safe vehicle.

Be sure to take a screenshot of the price listed on whatever you are going to look at. I test drove a vehicle and told the salesman I would be sending my husband the next day to look at it. When my husband went the next day they had raised the price of the car by $2,000.

Every time I have ever purchased a car has been the worst day of my life (large name brand dealerships). My experience with Belmonte is the first time I enjoyed buying a car. The salesman, Phil, was not pushy and gave us every single detail related to the vehicle. The owner, Vince, made the final price and the paperwork happen in less than an hour. Used cars that are sold as-is with no warranty have their little quirks and potential risks, but that is how they offer you these great deals on cars that still have so much life in them.

Long story short- the communication I had between both of the dealership owners was so piss poor it was to a point of disrespect. All in all Im just glad I never gave them any of my hard earned money.The vehicle I wanted to see went from ready to sell no problems, to now it needs a new clutch and transmission (not sure how that was missed). I was told Id be the first person they would contact when it is ready out of the shop. After days of not answering my calls, emails or texts (being left on read) I get a hold of a salesmen they have and they say the car has sold. Had they at least checked in they could have gotten more money for the car who knows! Poor business choice thats for sure. Good luck anyone reading this, the owners as well.

Absolutely awesome experience with Belmonte Auto Imports. Initially, I was a little leery due to it being a small used car business and the rapport these types of businesses generally have. I was searching for a particular year, make and model car thus I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect one all over the U.S.A. 02, BMW, M3 Coupe. My search ended at Belmonte Auto Imports. Within 10 minutes of being there, I knew these guys genuinely cared about their vehicles and who (including their family) they were selling to. I saw my car; Belmonte knew everything about the car and I mean everything - previous owner, every place the car was serviced, what modifications the car had, who drove the car, what the car was used for, title work, and even projected / foreseen issues the car could have. They even pulled carfaxes for other cars I was going to check out in which Belmonte was not selling. I test drove the car with one of the owners at Belmonte and received a driving lesson (If you know anything about M3s they are a sports car of BMW) - something I will take with me the rest of my life. After the test drive, there was no pressure like most car dealerships do; simply allowing me my wife, daughter and I take our time. I wrote the check out and drove home with my dream car. About 3 weeks later, I received a call from Belmonte; they obtained over $1000 worth of parts, documents, etc the previous owner dropped off for my car with no additional charge; just a simple handshake with smile is all I owed. I have owned many cars and sincerely have never had a better experience like I had with Belmonte Auto Imports.I understand this review sounds too good to be true and some people and paid to write reviews like this but I am here to tell you that is not the case with me; I simply want my experience to be known how awesome everything was for me!

This is an update to a previous post I had. I purchased a vehicle from here and without the knowledge of the dealership, it had some issues. After speaking with the owner he was able to assist me with the repairs. This was my first purchase of a used vehicle and wish I would have taken it to the mechanic to have it checked out first. This dealership will allow you to take the vehicles to get checked out. I highly recommend it. The owner Vince does take pride in his company and it shows. I would purchase from him again.

Great cars and service! I found my ideal car here--out of my price range, but I came to look anyway. We managed to work something out and it was definitely worth it. This car was in another league compared to those I had look at from other dealers, and Belmonte had clearly done some good work getting it to a high standard. Purchasing was super fast and painless. The lot pretty packed though--I do hope they manage to expand soon.

I was very pleased with the entire process. They made it easy and stress free. I did already have financing in place. So it made the process a little faster. Vince was very easy to work with and didnt try to play the typical back and forth games. I told him the price I was willing to pay and he got me as close to that price as he could. He even threw in a free tank of gas. I will be leaving the license plate frame on the back because there are not enough used dealerships like this anymore. Most are over priced and pushy. I will be coming back for another vehicle in the future.

I had a good experience with Belmomte and continue to be happy with the truck I purchased. It was nice to have the ability to take the vehicle to a mechanic to get it inspected prior to purchase. Of course, you are always taking a risk when you buy a used car, but its great they offer it as an option. Both Scott and Sandra were helpful and the purchase process went smooth. There was a brief problem with the title that delayed the registration process a bit but everything was worked out. Overall satisfied and feel I got a nice vehicle at a fair price.

We had asked for the tires to be replaced with white letter tires and a few other items as well. The tires were replaced but not with the type tires that we had agreed upon. We were also told that we would have the vehicle delivered to us the first part of the following week after the purchase on Sunday. On Wednesday we had not heard for Belmont Auto regarding the delivery of our vehicle. We called and was told that there was a delay in getting parts. We continued call for the next ten days as to when we could expect our vehicle to be delivered. We live in Hurt, VA and they said they would deliver the vehicle to us in South Boston, VA, which is 50 miles from our home. Also we were given 30-day tags and on the 29th day no tags have been received. I called to ask when could I be expecting the tags. I was told the next day. That did not happen. We received the permanent tags two days after the 30 day tags had expired. This is the reason for the two star review.

Was looking for a Tahoe all over Raleigh area. They have the best prices and cleanest used selection in the area. Even found some problems with it and they took care of it same day so we could make a deal. The owner Vince is great to do business with. Honest people these days are hard to find.

I think I got a decent deal, although I had to spend $1100 on a fuel pump problem as the truck would not start sometimes (not always). Not sure if they were aware of this problem or not. Also the $500 dealer prep they add on to your purchase price is a little steep in my opinion.

The car I bought from them was an amazing deal for the price and checked out perfectly in an inspection afterward. Any issues I had with detailing they took care of for me.
