I recently went natural w/a faded cut. I booked an appointment w/Kiara aka Kurly. When I sat in her chair explained to her what I wanted; faded, edgy yet feminine cut. Her words were I got you. Not only did she meet my needs she surpassed them and continues to do so every time I sit in her chair. She NEVER disappoints!!! I took my almost 2 year old son here for his first haircut and the staff was amazing. Kiara did a phenomenal job with son, even with all his moving around. The shop is amazingly clean and they are committed to having a high standard of cleanliness.

Today was my first visit to a barber shop as a client. The receptionist is absolutely amazing and exudes positive energy! Being that I have always had my hair razor cut at a salon and it was always a mess lol, I was super nervous and was not sure if I would be able to explain to my barber Ant how I wanted the style to look or if he would address my concerns. This past weekend was Fathers Day. It was also my youngest sons birthday. I took all 3 of my sons here. Awesome haircut and line up. My beard looks awesome!! Plus, I messed up on the reservations. They work with me and for me in. I truly appreciate Mr. Reggie and Jess and all the barbers there who made the start to the weekend great!! I dont go as often as I should because I live far away. “Mr. Reggie” is a staple name in our household! Our son gets so excited to go get his haircut and refuses to go to any other barbershop. We haven’t been to a barbershop in over 3 years. I was nervous and so was my son. My son has also never liked going to any barbershop. Kat and the receptionist ( i can’t remember her name) were amazing. They were soo welcoming and interactive. It felt like we known them for years. Kat did an outstanding job on my son’s haircut. Awesome staff!!! I love love how the barbers followed the CDC guidelines. They were sanitizing the chairs, instruments being used, sweeping. Taking temperature before entry and had people wash their hands. I felt really comfortable!! His barbers did a phenomenal job on my son haircut as well.

My Haircut experience there was great the staff was very friendly and Professional at the same time .the shop was Clean they practiced Safe Covid-19 safety precautions. My barber Kat did her thing and Reggie welcomed me to my new shop so I guess I was really impressed .

I sent my son here for classic cut .He got a cut /scab across his forehead line and both sides of his head near temple area that he now has to walk around like this .I pre paid $5.00 when I made the appointment online which was supposed to be deducted from the $30 (cost of haircut )My son was charged $31, which means we were over charged .When I called the barber about the charge, I got no resolution .The way he he used the clippers and burned my son skin is unacceptable and unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!’

I took my son for a haircut today and the experience was top notch! My son is 4 yrs old and was treated like a king! The safety precautions they are taking due to Covid-19 are beyond impressive. My son loves his haircut! They shampooed and conditioned his hair as well. Some may say they are pricey but for me, it was absolutely worth it. You’re not just paying for “a haircut” you’re paying for quality and professionalism when you go to this shop. I won’t be taking my son anywhere else from now on, fantastic job!!

This place is awesome...I took my sons here yesterday and they worked us in as I wasnt aware of the online pre-appointment schedule. Initially impressed!!! Then once we get in, the friendliness and professionalism was mind-blowing ❤. And the quality of work and care that was put into my sons cuts was like nothing Ive ever experienced...this shop is a hidden jewel in Raleigh. The only thing is (for me) its a bit pricey. I wish they had a more accommodating price for kids cuts. But outside of that i love this place...my sons have been raving about since we left. Keep up the good work guys.

This has to be one of the best barber shops I have been to since arriving here from NYC! The staff is courteous and professional. There are many barber awards lining the shelves and walls. There is a complimentary drink offered with your cut. They even wash, dry and blow dry your hair with certain cuts. This place is clean and sanitary as well. I will definitely be back soon and bringing my sons. Great place!!

I have a 16 year old and a 3 year old. They both love coming here to get haircuts. The barbers dress and behave like gentlemen, and all wear bow ties everyday. They offer grooming products and complimentary hair wash and warm towel treatment. The best barber shop in the area (and we’ve tried a few). Their prices are a bit higher than average, but so is their service.

I love this barbershop, being from another state I didnt know what to expect when this shop was referred to me. However, this shop is one of the best I have ever been to. The shop is extremely clean and nice. All of the barbers are in my opinion some of the best if not the best in the state. There are many barbers to choose from so the wait in never very long unlike most barbershops. I get cut by Stanley who has an incredible eye and a super steady hand. HIS FADES ARE FLAWLESS. My son and I were in the area attending the USBA Basketball tournament and he needed a cut. We stopped by the Bar ber shop and had a great experience. As soon as we entered we were greeted by Reggie who made me feel like we were regulars, very welcoming. Alex cut my sons hair and gave my beard a trim up, which I was very pleased with. What made everything that much more pleasing was the selection of music, man was it on point. Every barber is respectful and professional. All of the barbers wear bow ties. All customers are greeted by every barber after entering the shop. The atmosphere of the shop is very pleasant. I looked forward to each visit. The barbers take customers by scheduled appointment or walk-in. I get a haircut, shampoo, scalp treatment, and facial skin conditioning with each appointment. This is the best experience I have ever had at a barbershop!

I really liked how they wash your hair for free, and take their time with your cut. You really get what you pay for here, and I was skeptical at first about having to find a new barber since I moved to Raleigh, but not anymore. I will be a repeat customer.

I feel like a new man....

Normally, I cut my own hair. I think barbershops take too long and I do a descent job when I actually get around to grooming myself. For my sisters wedding, I went with the grooms party to the Barbershop. I saw quickly that The Bar Ber Shop was far from the typical haircut. First off, it had a bar, so I had to enjoy a beer after my full cut and shave. Reggie spared no detail, in making sure I had the best in chair experience of my life (complete with steam face wrap, filling in some hair challenged spots up top, and my favorite... the straight blade line-up). I truly knew what it felt like to be hooked up and although it still took about an hour, I looked and felt like a billion. Cheers to kicking off a great day!

I must say,my first visit was when I had to pick my grandson,who gets his hair cut there on a regular. I walked in one day to get my son hair cut and was asked if I had an appointment or a walk in. After asking for a particular barber I was told he had three in front of me, she then precieded to tell me that if I would like to come back I could and she would call me when he was ready. I left and came back a hour later after not hearing from no one and was told that the barber was not taking any more heads today. After asking to speak with manager and explain my complaint she was not able to say or do anything about it standing there looking dumb founded. And was not will to try to resolve the problem and allowed me to walk out the door. It wasn’t until the barber came back to get me and said he would go head and cut my son hair. After today they don’t have to worry about my business not that they care but hey that work two ways.

Nice place just moved out here and its hard to find even a decent barber. However, this shop is the perfect feel, filled with laughter, business, politic talks. Rashad was a well rounded guy. Like I said perfect place.

As a woman, sometimes its difficult to find a barber who can keep your hair up to par, but still feminine. Tawan pays attention to detail, is creative with his recommendations, and provides excellent customer service (which matters to me).
