The gentleman who did the work on the car did a great job, got it fixed and ready to go in a timely manner. Got a chance to speak with Tim and Andria (owners) and they were so pleasant and very genuine people. I like to support local businesses and they are running a great local shop. These guys are GREAT! I have a highly modified 2000 Toyota MR2 and in two hours they were able to diagnose and repair a serious performance issue that had baffled and vexed at least three other shops, including the Fred Anderson Toyota dealership. The car is fun to drive again and running better than ever. I finally found a place I can trust to take good care of my odd little daily driver.

So I took my Class B RV in for routine oil change and tire check. I asked them to look over everything since I am heading west in a couple of weeks. I am very impressed with the service because the oil change was the least of problems found. Needed to replace all four brakes, pads and all and found one of the inside duels was flat because of a nail. Went way past doing what I had originally asked of them. Heading over the high Sierras in a couple of weeks with thin brakes is unsettling. Very impressed with Josh and Boggs and the shop. Could not recommend more highly.

**UPDATE Jan 2021**Josh and the team at Raleigh Auto Care continue to provide great service. I had a repair in August that we still chased for some months to get perfect, and thats just what the folks there did for me. When time and schedules lined up, we got my Subaru back in the shop and they made the repair perfect at no additional charge to me. Then some weeks later after a run in with a box of 4 deck screws in the middle of the road, they patched (2) of my tires and inspected my girlfriends vehicle all with little cost to me and in record time for each issue. Once again, they went above & beyond to help me and I will recommend them to anyone who needs service on their vehicles.After buying a used Subaru, I searched the web for the best independent Subaru mechanic in the area and Raleigh Auto Care was at the top of the list. Since then, theyve helped me keep my vehicle maintained as well as done some other small repairs. The price point is very reasonable and they are very polite and professional when youre dealing with them. I fully recommend them for your car, foreign or domestic, and Ill continue to give them my business for years to come.

I love this place. In my 30 years of owning cars I have always been uncomfortable going to service stations. But not here. They are honest and reasonably priced. The girls at the front desk make you feel at home. All the mechanics are honest and trustworthy. I have never had a problem.

The team at Raleigh Auto Care is amazing. They were honest and straightforward and gave me money-saving options. A local chain had quoted me over $3,500 in needed repairs to pass inspection after doing nothing but pulling the codes. Raleigh Auto Care not only provided a free loaner to really take a look at my car, they clearly explained what really needed done and whether it was worth doing it for my car. I completely trust them with taking care of my vehicle and recommend them highly!!

I was turned away by 3 mechanics with my (ancient 300k miles) workvan. RAC welcomed the work, solved it affordably, and did some routine maintenance quickly. You must have good people to satisfying customers the way these folks have.On another vehicle, I had an unfortunate situation with a battery and a fuse going bad.I replaced the battery myself, and a new problem appeared.Unfortunately I had the car towed to the dealership, where I was quoted $128 for a new battery terminal which I had just replaced for four dollars in four minutes, and a new throttlebody and sensor and other work totaling almost $1100.It was a tough decision, but I had it towed for $75 from Fred Anderson Toyota to Raleigh Autocare. This was the best decision. For nothing more than a diagnostic fee, they replaced a $.10 fuse, and had the vehicle on the ground running in 1 hour.

These guys ripped my daughter off on an inspection. What should have been a $13.60 vehicle inspection ended up being $62.62. They took advantage of a young female driver and should be ashamed of themselves. Also, no one was wearing a mask during this COVID crisis.

I moved from upstate NY (home of the infamous salt roads and rust issues) to Raleigh 6 months ago in my ‘08 Accent. Since I moved here I’ve brought my car in about 3 times for general maintenance issues and I was nervous to find new mechanics away from home, but these guys feel like home! They walk you through the diagnostics, give you honest advice about what needs to be fixed sooner and what can wait for later if you can’t do everything all at once, and the prices are really fair. I was referred here by another happy customer who’s been coming for years (shout out to the autozone crew on Glenwood, also MVPs), and I highly recommend this shop too. Student friendly, and non-mechanically inclined friendly.

Stranded in Raleigh when my starter motor died. I called the shop and they told me to come right in, called me a little later with an estimate, and worked past closing hours to get me back on the road. Everyone was polite and friendly. Not inexpensive but they got the job done and did it correctly which was well worth it to me.

Very unsatisfied with service, communication, and timeliness of my experience. Would not recommend to a friend. Cherry on top was being called “honey” the entire time. Really not as endearing when quality of service is not living up to its glowing reviews. Enjoyed having to get the interior cleaned afterwards.

Ive been taking my car to Raleigh Autocare for almost 5 years now, and I have an aging car that needs some TLC :). Ive been lucky enough to have the same mechanic, Brian, do most of the work on my car. He knows it really well, and I havent had to get anything re-fixed. They are upfront about costs and will prioritize what is most vital to fix first. The front desk staff is also knowledgeable, accommodating, and fun. You can tell the people here enjoy working here and want to do a good job. I highly recommend coming here!

Our family loves Raleigh Autocare! They amaze us!! They do an amazing job of listening to whatever our current auto CRISIS is and working with us to fix it as quickly and accurately as possible. Raleigh Autocare is an efficient, knowledgeable business. I own a Saturn and needed work done. Many businesses would not work on it. Raleigh Autocare not only fixed my Saturn but have continued to keep it running well. They were welcoming to me and explained everything they did every step along the way. Raleigh Auto Care was highly recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. Starting with Kathy at the front desk, everyone was personable and helpful. The work was done on time and no upselling was attempted. The invoice included a description of what was found and the reasons for what was done or not needed. How many places will tell you that something you requested isnt needed?

Amazing service. Tim and Steve are the best. We’ve had several services performed here: from inspecting a new used car for defects, to general maintenance and repair, to body work and finally to selling our used car to them! Most recently my bumper came off and I called them to talk me through disconnecting the wiring for the fog lights so I could stow the bumper in the car. I couldn’t disconnect it so they offered to drive out to me and do it for me. Then they carried the bumper back to the shop and when I came to drop off the car, not only did they offer me a courtesy ride home, but they offered to do it in my car so that my children could ride in their car seats. What amazing customer service! I can not recommend them enough!

If I could put minus stars on Raleigh Auto Care, I would. My 17 year old son worked all summer to save his money to put a lift on his jeep. He was given a price of 450 maybe 475 for installation only before they started working on the vehicle. Parts were supplied. A guy called my son and told him it would be about 1,000 after the fact. Then he agreed to lower it to 750. I called and Tim started yelling at me when I told him that was too much variance in price for a kid. After he started yelling at me,I told him that I would have my husband call. I figured he thought it was okay to yell at women and to take advantage of kids.He did not yell at my husband and they agreed on a price of 600.When we got there it was 625. Get your quote in writing and make sure you have a man handle the transaction, if you go there. Ladies and kids, this is not your place.

Ive trusted my vehicles to Raleigh Autocare for years and theyve never let me down. From the owner, the mechanics, the women at checkin......all are friendly, honest and trustworthy. Ive recommended them to others and have never had anyone complain about the treatment or service theyve received. Give em a try....you wont go back to your dealer or shade tree mechanic.

Ive been to Raleigh Autocare several times for minor body work. They have always been prompt, courteous, polite, and very economical. Always under time estimate as well.

We were in Raleigh for our granddaughters wedding. We had car trouble and took it to Raleigh Autocare. They fixed the initial problem but that was not the only thing. We were ready to leave and had the same problem. Long story short, Tim, the manager, did the last work at no charge because he felt it was their fault that we had to stay over. Now thats what I call an honest and upstanding mechanic. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

If I could put minus stars on Raleigh Auto Care, I would. A few months ago while at a car wash near them one of my side mirrors was damaged. Since It happened at the car wash they told me to come here to get it replaced for free obviously because they were at fault. The mirror they so called replaced started spotting a few months later the paint began to fade. Shortly after I took my truck to a mechanic where I was told that this happened because the new mirror they used was purchased at a junk yard-.- This place is horrible! I wonder how many times they have done this before to other clients.
