On June 8, 2021, I ran over a curb and damaged one of my tires. I was at the Stop & Shop on Southern Artery. After shopping I noticed the tire was low and probably should not drive until it had been pumped up. I had a pump in my car, so I pumped it up went on my way. Shortly the low-pressure tire light came on. At this point I knew that I had a problem.I tried several “tire” repair shops, but they did not have the replacement tire in stock. My girlfriend suggested going to her mechanic, John to see if he could put the spare on. We drove over to Super Petroleum and Stacia was outside, and I told her I had a tire with a slow leak and wondered if they could put my spare on. She drove my car into the bay and she and John started work on changing the tire. John found the leak in the sidewall and told me I needed a new tire. John said he could order a new tire and would put the spare on so I could drive home. I was very pleased with having the spare tire put on quickly and agreed to have John order a new tire and which he said it would be in the next day. I left my car at the station the next morning and asked Stacia to give me a call when the work was done. I received a call in the afternoon that the car was ready around 3. My girlfriend drove me over to pick the car. I was completely satisfied on how quickly and easy my situation was taken care of. John and company took all the stress out of the situation for me. Extremely very pleased how everything worked out. JF Auto Care is accommodating, cares about its customers, and does a great job.

J.F. Auto is my neighborhood shop and John is extremely good at his job. He explains things to you, helps you save money, and is quick. If he can’t do it he’ll send you to someone who can. Truly what more could you want in a skilled mechanic? His daughter runs the door which I also love. I only have excellent things to say about this shop and I’m just so happy they’re close by with really great costumer service. 5 stars. Will return.

When your mechanic tells you not to waste your money on this or that repair, hes a keeper. And theyre good people - down to earth, no ego and very accommodating with pick-up and drop-off service. Lastly there is no hesitation on their part to recommend other mechanics when certain repairs are not in their wheelhouse.

As a neighbor John and all the staff have demonstrated that they stand behind all of our family vehicles and repairs. Keeping us safe on the roads and very happy to support our local auto care shops. I get so much more than I do at the dealership or discount shops.

Will be going here for the rest of my life.Long review: I recently moved to Quincy, and needed to pick a new place for oil changes, auto repair, etc. I initially scheduled an appointment with a nearby Ford dealership, and they were going to rip me off! They also took forever just to schedule an appointment. I literally walked away from the dealership, and gave these guys a call.They were able to see me within a few hours. They were quick, courteous, and cheap! Really cant get any better. I paid less than $30 for an oil change. They were also proactive and recommended to get a (much needed) tire rotation, and reminded me of maintenance coming up. They were not pushy, very polite, and excellent at communication. I truly appreciate how good they are.

JF is great. We use them for all of our service needs, everything from an oil change or inspection to anything more significant. Theyre always very timely, communicate extremely well and charge very reasonable prices. I was recently in for repairs to my 17 year old Jeep, they got it back running like new in no time at all.

First and Foremost, JF Auto is far more than a simple part changing location as indicated by a previous posting. John is probably the most trustworthy auto technician (and shop owner) I have met so far. Speaking from vehicle service as well as employment (previously worked for John), I have first hand experience on who is who. I have worked at two other MAJOR auto repair chains in Quincy, and JF Auto is by far the most honest and capable. Flat rate timing is not of an importance here. Customer satisfaction and trust is. John is a good guy, and is very knowledgeable when it comes dealing with quality work and client satisfaction. Part changing is easy, but JF Auto knows that understanding how to fully diagnose vehicular problems while systematically alleviating further discrepancies is imperative in the repair industry.

Ive brought all my cars to JF Auto Care and they have never done me wrong. They always call before doing any work and always got the work done on time and if there were any delays they would always call. Their prices are fair and the workmanship is excellent. As long as I live in the area I will always being my cars here.
