I cant recommend these guys enough. They took care of my truck after another shop broke multiple studs in my head and told me I needed a new one...2 days later Lous gave me my truck back completely fixed for a great price.

I had an amazing experience at Lou’s custom exhaust in Quincy. I stopped there today in desperate need of help. My check engine light was on and my car was over heating. I was trying to make it home which was another 40 minutes away. I was unfamiliar with the area and I was all alone. I was unable to drive my car and I pulled into Lou’s custom exhaust looking for some help. I had no idea what was wrong with it, but a very nice mechanic came out to help me. He told me my water pump was broken and my belt was totally gone. It had snapped off. He was so helpful and offered me many options. He was pretty busy that day but I’m a young girl and I was all alone. He ordered the parts and took time out of his busy day to help me. I am so incredibly grateful that he was able to fix it up for me in only a few hours. He was such a life saver!! Being a young girl alone in an unfamiliar city with a basically broken car and no one to turn to is definitely scary. I am so thankful that he was able to help me in a last minute situation. He was so kind and caring. It is definitely refreshing to see kindness like this from strangers. I will absolutely be recommending Lou’s custom exhaust to everyone!! I couldn’t thank him enough. It was a great experience.

Other places said replace the entire exhaust system. They repair it to help me out. Faster then I expect.

The guys here are very friendly and helpful. There was a crack in my exhaust and they were able to let me know the extent of the damage in under 5 mins. Repair was done quickly, under 45 mins and very affordable. Would definitely recommend others to get their exhaust work done here.

Had a leak/crack in my exhaust. This was hands down the easiest, quickest experience Ive ever had with car repair. Dropped my car off after hours, they called the next morning to tell me what needed to be fixed, they called back about a half hour later and it was done. Paid online. 180 bucks and my car doesnt sound like a dirt bike anymore. Cant suggest them enough!

It happened last year(Quincy location) I had an exhaust leak on my car, went there to repair coz there was no waiting line n it was rated 4+stars online. They try to rip me off by saying I had a hole on my exhaust n need a few hours to fix it n labor was 200+ plus parts. I was gonna do it but after i told him I need to schedule a time to come back coz I didnt want to spend a few hours waiting. Then they said they will get it done in 15 minutes, I was thinking a few hours to 15 minutes? Something must be up. So I lefted n went to another shop find out it was only a small crack n can be sealed up really quick n only cost me 35 dollars. I would not recommend this shop because no honesty.

Replace stock muffler on my 2020 Lincoln Aviator. Guys did a great job. Looks great, sounds great. Highly recommend this shop.

Broke a flange, called the Lou’s in Quincy. Super nice guy took the car right in checked it out while I ran to Dunkin’ a street over. Called me and suggested just a weld over an expensive fix, and was finished by the time I got back.This is the place you go when your exhaust breaks and you don’t want to pay for a super expensive fix. Great guys that do good work.

Awsum service I didnt even have n appointment, needed my car looked @ was told as soon as they had a lift available they would bring it in n look @ it. Very friendly n polite staff looked @ my car told me what I needed I asked how much was told a price.I asked do u take credit n he told me yes n I said go ahead, waited while work was done which didnt take 2 long @ all . Im very pleased n happy with work n price, especially when I shopped round n every 1 else wanted double. Thks Lous Custom Exhaust uve earned my loyalty.

I had a small leak in my exhaust system and I stopped in at Lous. It was lunch time and I interrupted the staff. They said no problem, diagnosed my problem,welded my small leak and was on my way in less then a 1/2 hour. Great service and a very fair price. Highly recommend!

EXHAUST LEAKED & THEY LOST THE HARDWARE I SUPPLIEDBad experience at Quincy location. Brought in my 98 BMW 3-series to have 4 studs removed from the exhaust flanges and have the exhaust rehung. They got the studs out but the guy putting my exhaust on didnt install a bunch of hardware I supplied on the catalytic converter support bracket. The 4 rubber bushings alone are $7 apiece to replace.When I first took it apart there were no leaks and no gasket sealant on the flange gaskets..tHE GUY installed the new flange gaskets but didnt clean up the mounting surfaces, instead used red RTV on the gaskets. The RTV blew out in just 3 months. I brought it back then and all he would do is tighten the flange bolts (which did nothing) and, after claiming he never got the box of hardware I supplied, put plastic isolators and the wrong size bolts on the bracket which loosened in a few weeks. I had to buy new gaskets and do the job over again myself.

Lous is the only place for automotive exhaust work.My GFs car was rear ended and the exhaust hangers broke in the collision. I took it to Lous in Quincy, and they took excellent care of the car. I didnt have an appointment, and didnt even bother to call ahead, but they brought the car in right away and put it up on the lift. They inspected the car and told me they could create all new hangers, while saving the factory exhaust system, and saving me money in the process. The work was fast and of a very high quality.I would recommend Lous Quincy location for any exhaust related work. From high performance upgrades to repair of factory systems these guys can do it all!

Worst experience Ive had. Not honest and they try to rip me off. I went to Lous custom exhaust in a different location and the work was done in 2 1/2 Hrs less and $200 cheaper. P.s get quotes in other lous custom exhaust locations and I guarantee you better prices!

These guys helped me out a lot. Need to go back when they are opened up again to adjust something but very happy with the work.

I went to a chain store who told me I needed a full exhaust system for almost $700.00. The shop manager looked at my car himself and said it only needed a muffler and something repaired up front. Spoke to an employee named matt/matty. I had recently aquired a very old car that is 28 years old and needed some custom exhaust work. Specifically a muffler. He did not want to put the car on the lift because it had no catalyst converter when asked if the car had one. It is illegal to work on a car without one. For off road purposes this car dont need one. There is also no emission requirements for any vehicle over 25 years old. He wanted me to spend a great amount of money, just to push me out the door because he didnt want to work. This guy was not motivated nor very friendly. Why would I make a 28 year old car meet todays emissions standards if todays law doesnt even require it. So much for custom exhaust work.

I took my Cadillac in for a drivers side catalytic converter. The disinterested worker bee who did the work told me that the bracket was broken, could he weld it.Today, at the Cadillac dealer for an unrelated problem (I thought) I was told my entire exhaust system is shot because my cat is welded in place.WELL, aint this dandy HE WELDED MY CAT ON!!!! Not the bracket!Not good and certainly not acceptable, as now, I must replace my entire exhaust just frikken fantastic.I need this fixed somehow and will be in touch on Monday. Forced the front 02 sensor in crooked and ruined the threads in my brand new headers requiring it to be re-tapped. And the nuts and bolts connecting my cat to my catback system came undone on the road. Mostly friendly people. Stupid mistakes.
