Erich is the first person I talk to if I have any car troubles and will continue to be as long as I live in the area. Amazing people and good prices.

Erich is the nicest guy and supe rknowledgeable as a mechanic. He has fixed multiple vehicles for me and I am super picky. Fair price and great quality work each and every time. As someone with a lot of gray hair, Erich is someone who Id put in my top 3 mechanics Ive ever worked with (I am not from Quincy but a larger town).

I could not even think how anyone could ever rate this business less then a 5 star. My experience was top notch and very professional, the mechanic explained in detail and what needed done, they called me to pick up my car and my annoying noises were gone. Thanks guys and Im sorry to hear of your family member passing, your in our prayers. I will recommend you to all my friends.

Worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic. They have had my fiancé’s vehicle for over a month, just to replace a ball joint and some suspension parts on ONE side of the vehicle. They have not been able to communicate anything and we have had to call them to find anything out. The last straw was today - we called this morning and they said it would be ready tonight to pick up after they had an alignment done on it. We planned to pick it up when we got off work. We called before leaving to go get it to ENSURE it would actually be ready and they said they could not do the alignment because there were other issues. Did the call to let us know? No. They did not. It had been 4 hours since our last conversation. Ridiculous and we are now going to pick up the car unfinished and take our business elsewhere. After a MONTH!

Needed my back brakes replaced as they were HORRIBLE. Called on a Friday and they said to drop it off Saturday morning around 9 and it would be done before noon. Dropped it off the night before so it would be there as I had to work. Called at 11:45 and it was done. The work he did was fast and perfect! He doesnt overcharge like all the other mechanics in town and he got me in and done in a VERY timely manner! Secretary was nice and very efficient. I will definitly be using him again in needed and HIGHLY recommend!!

Erich Elligsen at Elligsen Automotive is AMAZING. We were in Quincy from out of town when we started having issues with our car. We called him frantically 5 minutes before he closed (on a Saturday no less), and he said to come on by. When we got there he figured out it was a problem with our brakes, but needed to let them cool down a little first. While waiting for them to cool, he actually helped another person having trouble with their AC, figured out the problem immediately, and they were on their way. After our brakes cooled, he called AutoZone to find parts for us, saved us money on said parts, and even had them delivered to his shop. The car was fixed within an hour of the parts arriving. We couldnt believe that he was willing to stay late on a Saturday to help us out. He also finished the job faster than he put in his estimate, and therefore reduced our bill accordingly. I wish we lived closer, so we could always take our vehicle to him. Thank you Erich!

Told me to come back next day and got to working in my vehicle right away. My daughters car broke down on a Friday night. She was 4 hours away from home and needed to get back to School. I called around to two local shops that were open on Saturday. The first one said he could fix it on Monday. I talked with Erich at Elligsens Auto. He had it towed immediately and called me with the diagnosis within an hour.. They close at 1 but he stayed till 3pm to finish repairing her car!!! I cannot thank you enough for helping us out. Thanks from a fellow auto shop owner!!

My truck broke down on Saturday afternoon and this was the only place I found opened in Quincy. I called and explained my problem. They spent fifteen minutes with me on the phone explaining to me what they believe to be the problem even, guiding me to a specific YouTube video to help me fix it. Long story short they helped me fix my truck and didn’t expect anything else in return. Great service! Great people! Thank you!
