I had a great experience at Saltys, it was my 1st time to a barber in 15 years. Told Chris about my bad hair cut I got when I was a teen. He made sure I was comfortable and pick the perfect hair cut for me. He is really good with the straight razor shave. The hot towel on face before shave feels amazing. Great guy to talk to and you can watch TV while you get a hair cut. Ill be going back.

First, Christopher is a highly skilled and experienced barber, and I have never had a haircut from him that was anything less than perfect. But aside from that, I like that this is a barber shop, not a salon or stylist. It is a place where a man can feel comfortable, where friendly masculine banter is freely exchanged. I am retired after a long military career, so I also like that this business honors and respects our nations veterans. Saltys is solidly and proudly American, and I love that patriotic spirit. I very highly recommend Saltys.

I had a great experience at Saltys American Barber Shop. Let’s start with environment, just a great feel when you walk in. It’s a smaller shop but that’s what I like a small shop small town feel. Then there’s the cut, I wasn’t entirely sure why I wanted but after seeing the other 3 people who went ahead of me I wasn’t worried at all. I thought about going short but Chris convinced me otherwise. Talk about a great barber who knows how to make ya look your best. He gave me a gentleman’s cut and I think it came out damn good! Conversation was awesome very down to earth man. Very respectful, prior service coast guard. I will always support local business as well as veteran owned local business. He was walk-in only get folks in and out quick but without any lack in quality. Overall 5 out of 5 experience. Thank you Chris for the great cut and you service to our country!

He found out I’d never had a straight razor neck shave and was giddy to show me so I could know how good it felt! Let me begin by saying Chris is a hilarious guy on top of being a fantastic barber. I went to him yesterday after I had my head butchered by another barber. Chris looked at my hair and immediately knew what he had to do to fix it. He had me walking out feeling like a new man! I will definitely be using him as my barber from now on.
