The classes are focused on building respect for others and confidence. The lessons while fun are rooted in the primary forms of Taekwon do. My son is 4 and there is a lot of focus on learning technique while keeping him performing each move correctly. He loves every minute with Master Kwon and Master Brandon. They show amazing amounts of patience with younger kids while still enforcing that they are learning a martial art.

Went here when I was younger. Master Kang knows how to make exercise fun. You learn self defense, but you also have fun and play games. A great balance for sure.

From her first class to now, my daughter enjoys every min of her classes! I initially sent my daugther to tae kwon do not only because she was interested but also because I thought it would enhance her confidence and bring out her personality. Before sending my daughter to black belt USA she was very soft spoken and timid when it came to interactions with people around her. That changed immediately once she started her classes! Master Kang and the staff here delivers professionalism when it comes to engaging and interacting with the children. The encouragement and the right amount of push and challenge they give to the children make it a very positive environment for students to learn the valuable lessons and sills of self defense, self discipline and self confidence, respect and perseverance! I could not be happier with my daughter in Black Belt USA and I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!

After moving to Dallas from SD, I now have a chance to write a review.Its been years I have been sending my kids to this Taekwondo school to learn self defense; however there is not much lessons other than playing games. Basically to get young kids interest, they let them play games a lot, sometimes no class but only games.Grand Master and the owner is hungry for their benefits not the students learning and practice. Other than the enroll fee, all other fees such as color belt test, shoes, sparring gear, uniform, and movie night everything, you should pay cash!This school is here to get your hard earned money and not interested teaching martial art. I seriously dont want to send it to this Taekwondo school but there is no Kukkiwon Taekwondo school in SD.Seriously I would reconsider this Tae Kwon Do school before enrolling your child.
