The owmer JD, coaches Victor & Jeff are awesome. Members are inviting and roll friendly. No ego trips here. The teaching is on par with big name competitor/instructors but in a more relaxed and informative environment.

Awesome place, good atmosphere to learn for both kids and adults. My 9 year old attends the afternoon class and he enjoys it. Coach Victor does a great job. Also clean and well organized.

This is amazing gym! I appreciate the family friendly atmosphere! My husband, our 4 BOYS and myself attend classes here throughout the whole week. The progress we all have seen has been exciting to watch and experience. My family and I have felt nothing but acceptance and fantastic accountability here as well as developing long lasting friendships! JD has set the tone! He is an amazing coach and his teaching methods, technique and patience speak more than anything you can put into words. Well be members for life!

Great training for adults and especially the kids.Family friendly atmosphere and my boys enjoy going every week. Adult and child teammates eventually become respected colleagues and eventually close knit BJJ family.My son states JD is a great trainer with a lot of patience.

My daughter has been coming here for almost a yr now and she has improved so much. She has entered many competitions and done very well. Coach is so patient with the kids but doesn’t tolerate and nonsense which we appreciate . We love this place and would recommend it to anyone interested in learning good technique!

Endles Journey is awesome, great instructions (very detailed and technical), great people and welcoming atmosphere. This gym earns all the praise it gets.

Just got into this and I really love it. Everyone is soo nice and helpful. It really is like a family. As woman it’s very empowering and has made me feel a tad safer at night. JD is a really good teacher, he doesn’t move too fast or anything, he is also very encouraging.

I went to the Thanksgiving open mat at Poway BJJ, with my coach and one my training partners. We rolled for 2 or 3 hours and not one person copped an attitude or let their ego dictate their demeanor. J.D. was warm and welcoming and before I left I swooped up one of their shirts to support the academy. I have never been present for one of J.Ds instructionals but after my experience at the Poway BJJ open mat I would definitely recommend this academy and its open mats to anyone who enjoys BJJ/grappling. You can tell from the trophy case that J.D. has the skills to use his BJJ in competition grappling and self defense situations. You can feel confident knowing that you are learning BJJ properly from a validated instructor.

I couldnt be happier with picking Endless Journey to call my home. I have been to several gyms and felt like some of them were just in it for the money and you were just a number on the roster, you know, corporate style. At Endless Journey, its a family, and yes, they actually know your name. After the 1st trial class, I knew that the vibe and teaching style was exactly what I needed, with a focus on technique. JD is trained under Baret Yoshida and still an active student of his. I actually look forward to coming to train out of excitement rather than obligation. There has not been a day where I have gone to train and felt like I didnt get something out of that day.Try it out! You will not be disappointed!

I wanted my son to start jiu jitsu training and we went to five different places before I decided that EJ is the best choice for my son. First of all, amazing family atmosphere, and second, I love their warm ups. At our very first class it looked like my son couldnt keep up with the pace, but after few months he is not bad at all, and amazingly, he is not even tired!I highly recommend this place!

Endless Journey is a top notch Jiu Jitsu School. Coach JD is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. He teaches with patience and sincerely cares about all of his students. The kids classes are amazing as well. My 5 year old son has learned confidence and respect on top of his Jiu Jitsu training. I have gone to other schools to train, and Endless Journey is in a league of its own. I highly recommend this school to anyone, whether it be those who are new to the sport or seasoned veterans.

What can I say about Endless Journey? I was looking for my two girls to start training jiu jitsu and I did a bit of window shopping until I found EJ. What sold me is that they are the only dedicate gi and no gi jiu jitsu academy in Poway with kids classes Mon-Thurs and open mat on Saturdays. From day one we felt very welcomed and everyone greeted us with open arms. The gym is clean, well taken care of, and has more than enough mat space. JD is the owner and has amazing experience as both an instructor and active competitor. He is extremely patient and can communicate/ display instructions very well to both adults and children. My girls (5 and 7 at the time) have been coming almost daily since February of 2018 and attend both the gi and no gi classes. Since their training they have grown in confidence and feel at home with their EJ family. Endless Journey is just an awesome academy and great environment to learn jiu jitsu. I highly recommend to check this place out and take a roll.Do not place hope in finding a secret technique. Polish the mind through ceaseless training; that is the key to effective techniques. My experience at Endless Journey Jiu Jitsu was Awesome!The environment is extremely welcoming. You can tell everyone is dedicated to making sure to support each other as much as possible in order to make themselves better.The instructor JD has been teaching jiu jitsu for a long time and is a super knowledgeable instructor. Whats great is that his skill as a coach is just as great or even better than his skills in jiu jitsu. This makes for an excellent combination!To top it all off they have a great schedule of classes available and they keep the place SPOTLESS!I highly recommend Endless Journey Jiu Jitsu for anyone looking for an excellent place to learn and develop themselves in jiu jitsu and as a person in a family environment!Thanks for the hospitality!!!!
