I like how they fixing things. I see the manager out here trying to fix what she can. When I called She did get someone out here to clean up behind these kids right away. Security could come around more to stop the tresspassers but overall i like living here. The breezeways & sidewalks need cleaning more often. The kids leave so much trash. Maintenance takes longer than expected but its only one guy. But everyone is nice and they help with what i need when i ask. Some neighbors are loud but thats to be expecxted. Glad i moved here. I would recommend this place.
This place can’t keep staff or maintenance. The office manager Shanta is very rude and ghetto and always trying to charge you or threaten to terminate your lease over any little thing. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to move out here. It’s very trashy, some of the neighbors don’t have no consideration, people lean on and scratches up your cars, steal your cars, your tags, decals and everything else. They “suppose” to have security but they don’t do their job. I wouldn’t even rate this place one star, but I had to just to leave a review. WORSR PLACE EVER since these new management people took over.
Applied for apartment although I didn’t qualify shante artis was very sweet and helpful and went over and beyond to help me become a residence, will apply again in one year. I do recommend crescent place in Portsmouth va, surroundings was very clean and quiet
Shady, I had a apartment filled out the application, and was supposed to meet with them today at 3 for the holding fee and walk through, And just got a call at 2:30 saying someone else took the apartment I had a meeting for. That’s messed up.
Literally moved my move in date twice and moved it the morning of while I have movers waiting! I am LIVID!!! Very unprofessional!!!!
This place seems really nice, the reviews made me a little hesitant but I was going to give it a chance. The property manager is very rude and accused us of not being serious and wasting her time after she failed to give us all the information for the application process. I can only imagine how it would be after I am a tenant.
Office staff are kind, knowledgeable and patient. Kudos to Kat
Overall, my experience has been pleasant. Ive had two separate occasions where I had an issue with the females who work in the rent office. Can be noisy. But with school aged children, thats expected. I love my unit, my apartment and my neighbors! No regrets, whatsoever, living here. I plan on staying for a while 👍
My experience was all good in the beginning. I felt the staff was ok but they had my date to move in on March 6 how do you call someone 2 days before and tell them oh Im sorry Mrs. Williams you have to move in on March 13th because the lady just turned in her key. I had to put in a notice as well so me and my kids have to find somewhere to live for a week because they put an apartment on the market that wasnt going to be ready and that is just not professional at all. And the bad part is they took my deposit and first month rent on the 3rd and never said anything about me not being able to move in on the 6. I feel that is so wrong on a unprofessional level and something needs to be done.
I love my little home sweet home. I been living out here for almost 7 years in two different apartments. This summer on my way to my third. I love this place and its prefect location for shopping. The shopping center is my backyard. 😇
If you want fair affordable housing dont go to Crescent Place Apts. I waited for 6 months for an Apt. Iwas told would be ready by June 1 only to be told on July 8 that I was 3,000 from qualifying. While reviewing my income qualifications, the Senior Property Manager incorrectly tabulated my monthly salary. So She could not except, that 25 hours a week times 10.00 per hour is not 500.00 per a month, in fact it is closer to 1000. 00 per month. This is not only grossly incompetent, she and Brandon James squeezed 64.00 in application fees for criminal histories, credit reports, income information, and background information on myself and my cousin. I would have been better off investigating the Housing practices of Crescent Place Apts with the money they pilfered from me. I am a 66year old disabled person and living on a very fixed income .This is not fair Housing.
I love crescent place I been out here for 3 yrs no issues what so ever the kids get loud at times but i can deal with that.
The manager and office staff are very rude and unprofessional. They discuss tenants personal business with other tenants throughout the neighborhood and react based on hearsay. They leave you waiting in the lobby for long periods of time without checking on you or providing an estimated time as to when they will be available. Horrible experience and I feel Wavy 10 should be notified!
This place is the worst in portsmouth next to london oaks projects.the management will lie to squeeze money from you.i lived there for two years and was harrassed threatened and reported it all to management but they did nothing i moved under a violence against women act and they stole my deposit claiming things were broken.i never used the balcony for the big spiders and wasp that they never took care of.i cleaned and took pictures i have witnesses as well as therapist im ready to take these trashy pariah to court.they prey on the weak and im not letting them get away with it im suing.
We really liked this place and were whole heartedly going to lease from them. Then we met the manager. We strongly disliked her. She was cocky and arogent. Her sales pitch sounded more like a know it all bully. She claimed they had the best price i all of 757. We knew that was a lie because we already lived in a less that 800 for 2 bd community. Then we specifically stated we wanted a 1 bd. She kept quoting us for 2. Then when it came down to to money. She dismissed us because my bf worked for nnsy. Lafy was making up this weird thing of your not qualified because we take what you make before taxes add some money to it and add each of your together. She even tried to make us out as von artists. I had never been so disrespected. Needless to say we did not pick this place. In fact we found somewhere xheaper with free direct tv.
I thought when I went in the office it was a home and I spoke to Brandon he was very polite as I gave my application any questions I ask gave me a straight answer looking forward to this being my new home.
I have lived at this establishment for about 5 + months and I am not happy with the management or the maintenance of this complex. Have reported many issues to the front office... few have been taken care of.I am getting tired of hearing people stomp by our door, or while trying to use elevator... watching people while they are taking part in PDA. There is a place for that and the stairwell is not one of them.
