Update to confirm a continued 5 star review in the covid era. Longtime client, I have been to O2 Salon twice since the re-opening and feel very reassured about the safety measures in place for employees and customers. Masks with ear loops are provided if you dont already have that kind. With all the change all of us have had to adapt to, I can still get my accustomed precision cut at O2 because my stylist has mad skills even with gloves on.

This is the best salon I ever have been so far. They are so friendly and understand what you are expecting for your hair style. If no one try this before have to give a shot and see. Thanks!

New to Portland, I am happy I found Devon at 02 to cut my hair. I have thick, straight, short hair and finding someone who knows how to cut is very important. Devon listened and did a great cut, I highly recommend her ability.The salon is very friendly and good vibes here.

Audrey & Jaye did hair and makeup for myself and my huge bridal party for my wedding, and they did incredible! They arrived super early in the morning, as I had 14 girls including myself that needed hair and makeup done by 1:30pm, and they finished everybody on time and looking wedding ready! I would highly recommend these two ladies for your wedding day!

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience, 0 stars if I could. I went in for a cut and a color with Dana and showed him pictures of the blonde highlights and layers I wanted and had previously had done elsewhere. The highlights from my previous stylist were still visible and he said he could do it no problem. After leaving the foils in for a short while he rinsed half of my hair then the rest of it a few minutes later. He barely trimmed my hair (figured maybe he would do the rest when it was dry--as some stylist do) and then began drying it. Immediately it was obvious that he hadnt left the foils in long enough as the color of my hair was barely lifted and there were even lowlights put in which I hadnt asked for. Before I had the chance to say anything he apologized and said he wanted me to come back in in a few days for a fix--free of charge (although he still charged my $180--saying the 2nd visit/fix would be free). After leaving the salon I was really uncomfortable having him touch my hair again and called to speak with owner, Jaye, to see if she would do it instead. She had said that she was there when it happened and overheard the conversation/ saw the result and said she had time but to email her pictures to see if she was able to do it. I sent the email with pictures of what mine had looked like previously after being done and never ever heard back from the salon. A few days later I called and said I just wanted the $180 back after my overall experience and the lack of confidence/lack of response from the owner that she could even fix it. The staff was rude and condescending and denied any wrongdoing even though it was THEIR stylist who admitted to messing up and insisted on me coming back in. Im never one to write reviews but after this overall experience I feel compelled to not let anyone else have this happen to them. These are difficult times financially for all of us during COVID and to spend almost $200 on something and then not only get what you asked for and were promised--but then treated so poorly is just not right. Do NOT go to this salon.

I had my hair and makeup done for my wedding at O2. From the trial to the day of, the staff was great. Very responsive. The end result was amazing. My make up stayed put for 10 hours, through much ugly crying! My hair fell flat but that is my hairs fault as it is very thin and fine. So happy to have O2 as part of my day.

My experience at O2 salon was exaclty what a salon experience should be. I made a very short notice appointment and was greeted warmly with offerings of a variety of drinks and kindness. The atmosphere and energy of the employees made for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Now to the hair cut; Dana is an expert. Me arriving with a greasy mop was nothing more than a quick wash chop for a artist of his caliber. The 45 minute session felt like seconds as i was engrossed with his stories of travels, gardening, and celebrity encounters. On top of that not only did he fix my mop but he also gave me all the information needed to keep it looking the way he made it. Ive never had a hair stylist that ive wanted to go back to but i can happily say Dana will be my go to hair stylist for as long as i can have him. Highly, highly recommend.

I’ve had a pretty rough week but the pixie cut I got last weekend makes me smile every time I look in the mirror. Claire did such an amazing job and I was probably kind of annoying because it was my first pixie cut ever and I was a little nervous but she was still awesome. They were highly recommended by a friend of mine and totally exceeded my already high expectations. Wouldn’t trust anyone outside of o2 to take scissors to my new haircut.

Dana Paul rocks!!! Retouched an area that I really couldnt tell was needed. Great that he stands by his work, which is awesome!! Great hair cut and color. Gave me suggestions on local spots to check out in Portland since Im new to the area. Definitely an awesome business. Will be returning.

Audrey was awesome,and very nice. Took my little girl in to get a haircut, and was taken very good care of. They made sure that she got what she wanted.

Went as a stylist there was recommended for curly hair. I had chopped my own hair as my stylist wasnt getting it. The girl was young and new. She had to fix the mess I made and work with thin curly hair. I am impressed. The cut was very, very good. Im happy enough that Ill go back to trial her for color. The only drawback is parking.

Incredibly nice staff, truthful and truatworthy. Ive had so many bad haircut experiences before that I was so nervous to go get a hair cut, but Jay (the owner) welcomed me when I came in and listened to my anxious rambles. Then I was set up with Audrey who gave me exactly what I asked for and I love it!!! Will definitely go back next time I need a cut c:

I have been a client of Jen Leighs for a number of years and I cant imagine going to anyone else! She has curly hair like mine so she understands how my hair behaves and cuts it so I dont have to fight with it! She is open to new ideas but will be honest (if youd like her to be) about how it will look with your face shape. Ive never had a bad haircut from her. I also get tons of compliments about my color - people are shocked that Im not a true redhead! Her prices are very reasonable - Ive been to other salons that have charged me a lot more for a color and cut and I havent been nearly as happy with the results.

Best experience Ive ever had at a salon! Got my haircut and my eyebrows done by Claire. She did an amazing job! Claire listened to all of my concerns and was very patient with me. I walked in feeling blah about my appearance and thick frizzy hair. I walked out feeling like a rock star. Claire took my unmanageable mane and sculpted it into soft and easy to style curls. I have never been this pleased with a hair cut before. Im definitely going back!

Dana was very professional and made me feel completely at ease. I love my hair! I will return again.
