Jamie is the best. Professional, no nonsense, honest, affordable, and unlike other, more clinical environments where I felt sized up, Jamie asked me what I wanted. She listened and blasted away the sunspots that other places said would take 6-12 treatments to get rid of. Afterwards she told me that I could call her with questions or even support if I had trouble while the treated areas were healing. I will be returning feeling comfortable that Jamie will only give my treatments I ask for and not try to nickel and dime me. Tattoo laser removal with JamieWe have been working on a tattoo removal. 3 treatments so far. Jamie tells you exactly what will happen and makes you feel at ease. Ill continue until the tattoo is gone or light enough to cover up.

I have tried MANY times to get in contact (over a month) with this business in preparation for my laser appointment. But my calls, voicemails and contact us messages on their website went completely. I moved out my appointment even to give them more time. (This is a manual process otherwise I doubt that would have even been an option).I wanted to address old tattoos on my eyebrows. But the prep said no hair was allowed to be in the area. I wanted to speak to someone about that or put my groupon towards another service.After thinking about it, I was wondering why I was trying so hard to work with a provider that clearly does not care about their clients or customer service and realized that that would be the last people I would want working on my face. I wouldnt.Wanted to make sure I gave other customers a chance to find a better provider who cares.. . .Its unfortunate that the only way to get a response back from a business is with a public review. The owner has placed a public apology, still, still has never reached out, all I want is a refund. Because even if her services are amazing, this was/is a terrible experience.

Originally bought a Groupon for two IPL photofacials and ended up getting another package because Jamie (and the service she provides) is awesome. I wanted IPL for sun damage and Jamie added on an extra service that gave me quicker results at no charge, which was just the nicest. My skin is clear of a lot of the sun damage I went in with after just two sessions. Super happy with her and her services!

I got a IPL Groupon for laser hair removal. At my first appointment she went over how it worked, the outcome and how long it would take. I did one session of it and decided to upgrade to her laser machine for faster and longer results. She explained to me how it worked and always makes me feel comfortable. Getting your bikini area done isn’t always the most comfortable but she always makes me feel comfortable and tells me what she’s doing. I recommend Jamie if you’re looking for services! I have done 3 sessions so far and I’m seeing results and look forward to seeing the difference every session. Not as fast as some people would like but Jamie informs you that some people take longer than others and everyone is different before starting the long process.

Jamie ONeill performed a YAG treatment on my face for age spots.The treatment went very well with the expected outcome. She is very knowledgeable and efficient. I enjoyed my experience and plan on using Jamie as my go to aesthetician here in the Portland area. She offers a wide variety of services. Her prices are competitive. Jamie is not pushy, but very informative, which I appreciate.

Amazing treatment, wonderful bedside manner and INCREDIBLE RESULTS!Ive been wanting to get laser hair removal for almost a decade, but was unable to afford it. Jamies prices are fair and made it possible for me to get the treatment Ive always wanted! Ive now received 3 of the 6 treatments for my face and lower back, and the results have been stunning. I didnt realize that the effects could show so quickly, but within days of the first treatment, I could tell it was working. After just 3 visits, my treated areas have finer and lighter hairs growing much more slowly!Jamie is also so much fun and so sweet. She makes these sessions into a treat to come see her. I would recommend Jamie for anyone looking to do hair removal or tattoo removal!She does a number of other facial treatments including micro-needling and photo-facials. I have been going to Alluring Look for years now and I cant imagine going anywhere else. Jessica is a delight and shes helped me tremendously with my hair removal. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is sweet and understanding to help them with their laser treatments.

I found Jamies salon by chance on Groupon when I bought a laser hair removal package. It was the first time I had done anything like this but my wife was getting tired of shaving my back so in I went. Needless to say, I almost wish I had more unwanted hair! Jamie is friendly and professional and got the job done fast and effectively. I highly recommend her!

This is truly the very best place and hidden gem in Portland to go to to get the real and actual truth about exactly what the services do & whats going to make the most sense for you and your budget. (Jamie was so great, friendly, kind, easygoing & knowledgeable. She took the time to educate me on what might be possible, what extra good things I can eat & drink for my skin & also what was happening through each step) I got the chemical peel & my skin and face looks and feels so wonderful! My boyfriend bought me a package for laser hair removal on Groupon. He paid up front. The package was paid for as a gift from him to me. I went to 2 sessions successfully on my third I called to reschedule well in advance of Alluring Beauty’s 24 hour requirement. We rescheduled. Jaime texted me asking for my credit card number. I didn’t understand why when the sessions were already paid for. Jaime quoted their policy and told me that she need my CC number because they “were having trouble with people making appointments and not showing up”. I asked her what that had to do with me? Via text back. She texted that “I didn’t understand” but to just to forget about it. When I came to our appointment today to see Jessica, Jaime had left a note in my file to get my credit card number. Jessica, her associate, and I were scratching our heads because, again, the sessions had already been paid for. Even though I have two sessions left in my package, I’ve decided not to go back. This was weird and a hassle to deal with. Folks if you get a package as a gift, you should not have to give her your CC number. Be warned, it may be a scam. This was in no way relaxing or enjoyable.

8 sessions on my face, and not one bit of progress. Apparently Jamie uses IPL and not laser, but she never once told me that. She rushes through each session, and didnt even take the time to clean my face afterwards. I dont know what their other services are like, but stay away from their fake laser services. IPL is not a laser, so maybe you should consider dropping the word from your business name.

I do not advise going to Alluring Look Skin for hair removal. I feel sorry to have to leave a bad review because the staff was very nice, but their product is faulty and I think people should be warned. Quite frankly, I feel scammed. I saw their Groupon for LASER hair removal. I did them a favor (which I realize was a huge mistake now) by not purchasing the groupon, which would have protected me, and buying the service for the Groupon price directly from them. I paid for full body laser (or so I thought) hair removal for 6 treatments at $1,200 - thats a lot of money for anyone, regardless of if its a deal. I am Scottish, extremely pale, and Eastern European with very dark brown hair, the perfect candidate for laser hair removal. I also have had laser hair removal done on my bikini 8 years ago and only needed 5 sessions. To this date it never grew back.After five sessions with Alluring Look Skin there was still no change in my hair regrowth. I reached out to the owner, Jamie ONeal, to talk about getting my money back, feeling scared that I just blew $1,200 for nothing. She shared that they DO NOT USE A LASER they use an IPL, which is less effective and I would need more treatments. Why are they advertising it as laser hair removal? Their groupon says, Experienced and certified laser technicians. Turns out they are not even allowed to use a laser because they dont have a doctor on staff. Sounds deceiving.Jamie went on to say that they found out they were using their IPL machine incorrectly, so I may need all of the sessions done again... so I just went through 7 months and extreme pain (yes, it was painful) for nothing! If they were experienced and certified as mentioned in their Groupon ad, they should already know how to use their machines. She told me she would give me another 3 sessions after my 6 because she wanted me to be happy. This felt weary, but at this point it didnt sound like I was getting my money back, so I moved forward with the extra sessions. After completing 9 sessions I still didnt see any difference. I now asked Jamie for my money back and she assured me that they just bought this super fancy, expensive, and state of the art new IPL machine and she would give me 4 extra sessions on this machine. So, another 4 months and pain, I tried this new machine, and nothing. I didnt even bother with the last session. Their machines dont work. Im a perfect candidate for laser hair removal, its worked on me before, and at the very least after TWELVE SESSIONS I should have received SOME hair reduction. They are also falsely advertising. Had I known it was an IPL I would have never gone to them.I hope this saves some people from making the same expensive mistake I did. It doesnt appear that they are skilled in hair removal at all.

I wouldnt advise going here for Laser Hair Removal. In fact, before my full round of treatments, I did recommend it and now I regret that my good friend also wasted her money here.I had 5 treatments from Jamie. I saw no results initially, and had high hopes. Jamie assured me Id start seeing results after the third treatment, and when I still didnt see results and let her know, she offered to give me 2 additional treatments, but after 5 with absolutely no change in my leg or bikini hair, which are coarse and dark on pale skin, I decided to get advice from an expert.I went to the cosmetic dermatology department at OHSU, where they do real laser hair removal with the LightSheer Duet laser. I saw results after the FIRST TREATMENT. The very first treatment!! I waited about 3 months between Alluring Look and going to OHSU. My dermatologist said that the laser at Alluring Look was likely an IPL and not an actual laser, which could work for some people, but it didnt work one little bit for me or the friend I referred to Alluring Look who has even darker hair than me, and had gotten great results at her previous laser hair removal before going to Alluring Look.Ultimately, I wish I could get my money back. I bought a Groupon for Alluring Look, and maybe Jamie gives different treatments to people who buy her services for a deal. I dont know.All I know is that after trying 3 different laser hair removal places, I would recommend Laser Smooth in Gresham. Its the same high quality machine as what they use at OHSU, but for a considerably lower price.
