Horrible, poorly run shipping company. Dont bother with these clowns. My package never arrived. I sent more than three emails to them over the course of a week to find my package and never got a response. You call them and all you get is an automated line that is even useless than their website. No human to speak to, no help, no package.

Great talking with Kathy and confirming details for a heavy home delivery that needed an appointment scheduled. Kathy verified arrival to their site and also called and confirmed with the company doing the home delivery. Likely many bad reviews are due to people not scheduling their home delivery appointments and/or delays for their item arriving to the Pilot location.

Its been almost a month since I placed an Amazon order that happened to be shipped through Pilot Freight and was supposed to be delivered within a week or two. Initially two weeks went by with no contact from Pilot regarding delivery. I had to manually go to their website, search the tracking number and schedule it myself. Despite the fact that it was listed as being in my city they could only schedule the delivery for over a week later. Not ideal, but whatever. Then the delivery day comes and they dont show up and reschedule my delivery ..for another week later without contacting me or notifying me (I had to search their site via tracking number again to find out). That delivery day was today and yet again, no delivery. Ive spent way too much time on the phone with no answer and no response. I never write reviews but their service is so appallingly bad that it felt necessary. Ill never use them again and will do everything I can to ensure that my orders through other platforms dont use them either.

Pilot Freight is, hands down, the worst freight company weve ever dealt with. My wife has had her package delivery rescheduled five times now. Five. The first time they lied and said the package hadnt been received yet, despite our receiving email confirmation they got it a week prior. The second time we had to call after they never showed up. The third, fourth, and fifth times they had the courtesy to call and each time said they didnt have a driver to deliver it. Yup. We were then told we could pick it up ourselves. When asked if wed get a partial refund for doing their job for them. The answer was no. Since we dont own a truck, weve just given up and requested a refund from the seller. They chose this garbage freight service, they can deal with their BS.

So, we ordered a crib from buybuy BABY the beginning of April. The delivery was scheduled for 4/22 between 3pm and 7pm. We received a call a few days before delivery to reschedule and notify us it was delayed and had not received it, and when it got to the dock they would call us. We got a call when it got to the dock and rescheduled for 4/30 between 11am and 3pm. No big deal, as delays are expected but my wife rearranged her day entirely AGAIN for this delivery. But in this case for us, it was specifically the delivery itself that is the reason for this review. The delivery driver was 30 minutes late, did not socially distance, had NO MASK on and continued to have my wife who is 5 months pregnant and high risk, sign for the delivery invoice. It also stated in the email in RED, they will verbally ask for the customers name and take a photo of the item to enter proof of delivery. The email also had very specific details to bring deliver into main entrance OF the home and was left for my wife at the front door. This is a 85 lb box that she was unable to move! I will never pay another company delivery for this company again! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Hands down the worst shipping company, should be zero stars just for them. Theyre a freight company so they arent exactly shipping cheap items. You have to schedule an appointment just so they can choose if they want to show up or not, and then they dont even contact you with a reason why, or what to do next. Then when you go to contact them they say exactly nothing in response. Then your only option is to reschedule your appointment and keep your fingers crossed that the actually show up. Will definitely be checking in the future of this company is in charge of shipping my product and both the seller and the company will not receive my buisness.

Like other reviews, I waited on the phone for over an hour TWICE to which their hold recording stated what a professional company they were, even assured that despite COVID your freight continues moving, but yet I cant get an update on an order that had a scheduled delivery window for. I have reached out for updates, even contacted their Customer Service Manager Patrick, with no response. This is beyond frustrating. BE WARNED!UPDATE: Finally got through to someone at Pilot Freight to which I was informed like the reviewer below, that my freight was sitting on the doc in my city, but had not been scanned to be out for delivery. My delivery window has now come and gone. I took time off from work to be available during the allotted time. Now I am being told I will be contacted to reschedule??? I DO NOT want to talk to someone to have it delivered, I want it out on a truck tomorrow, since my delivery window has passed.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I will be reporting this business to the better business bureau. My package was rescheduled multiple times with no call or email to confirm the delivery. This last time I had it scheduled to be delivered today between 3-7 and yet again no delivery. I called customer service to be told that it was confirmed to be out for delivery today but was still sitting in the dock. I asked for any confirmation on whether or not it was Actually going to be delivered and the representative told me she could not guarantee it. I had no email and no call to let me know that today’s SCHEDULED DELIVERY, was not going to happen. Very disappointed in the lack of communication this business has.

Absolutely would not recommend this company for any freight needs. My wife and I ordered our kids a go Kart from Walmart. We got a delivery for 1-5-21 3-7 pm never shows up, no call, no email. We call customer service and get the response of oh the product just got to the dock, we will reschedule within 24 to 48 hrs. Get notified that the shipment will be delivered on 1-7-21 3 to 7 pm. My wife Takes the time off to receive the order never gets deliver no call or email again. Call the local hub in portland get no answers for days. Finally we get a delivery date of 1-22-21 for again 3 to 7 pm. Delivery never shows up. We called the national number talked to a nice lady but she has no clue whats going on and says well let me send a email to figure this out. Someone will be in contact with you soon. I have worked in logistics and truly believe my kids ( who are under 10) can run this place better then the goofballs there now.

I get a response on Google review but no responses to my email or phone calls????. You sent my shipment to another shipping company and they confirmed our shipment was destroyed. This is beyond not professional and all I ever wanted was honesty and someone to tell me where my order is. To send it to another company and not inform me about anything and to find out the shipment was so bad that the go kart is damaged. Luis never called me, your MANAGER never responded to anything.

Hello!My name is Faysal, and I’ve ordered a ZL1 bumper kit from IKON Motorsports, and pilot delivery happened to be the selected carrier. Upon scheduling a delivery (what a joke) I was told I had a delivery window 1/22 from 3-7. I take time off from work to be here; only to be told on the phone it is still in the original city! Unbelievable, I guess this is what economy shipping looks like during COVID-19. Pathetic. I have a delivery window for 1/26 from 3-7, and if it doesn’t come then I will be in pursuit of the correct actions moving forward.I have reached out to “Patrick” in management and got no response whatsoever, so that’s a red flag in itself.UPS just delivered my other car parts to me and smiled, as they’ve been for decades. It makes me upset when I try to give new businesses a shot and this happens. Very unfortunate, but we will see if they can deliver to me in Portland by Monday.

Ive been trying to trace a shipment that is over 3 weeks later than the estimated delivery date they show on their website. ive been on hold with the corporate tracing numbers for over 9 hours over a 3 day period, (currently at 3 hr. 44 min today) with no one picking up the line. Have tried to send requests via the company website, and received no response. Have called the Portland location to do a dock check and no call back. Makes it hard to believe the shipment will deliver.UPDATE:So, Our package delivered in good condition the middle of the week following this review.I was on Hold with the corporate tracing number for OVER 9 hours the day after this review. The system finally hung up on me. BUT, the National customer service manager called me back, because his computer report showed I had been on hold ALL DAY. He was able to contact the local delivery terminal, and find that our shipment was on hand...COVID-19 has increased their business beyond their current abilities, so be patient, I got the feeling they are trying, but just overwhelmed, and were very apologetic. Try working with the local delivery office, not the national 800# (they said that was currently a black hole).

I cannot believe this business has even two stars! I have called multiple times and wait on hold until they end the call 30 minutes in. I have never been contacted by them after numerous emails about not receiving my furniture. Now I waited 4 hours for my scheduled delivery only to find out that they moved it to next week without ever contacting me. I literally have never been so frustrated with a company I’m my entire life. This company should be out of business !Update :On my 4th ! Missed appointment with no notification prior or update from Pilot. That’s just 16 hours of waiting around for them. Unbelievable

I made a purchase thru eBay and the vendor chose pilot freight services for me. I hadn’t heard of them before and once I googled them and saw the reviews, I was skeptical to say the least. According to their tracker my item was down in California and I could’ve set my appointment for the next day, I was unsure of that being feasible so I opted to set my delivery appointment two weeks out in the evening. I was surprised when the PDX office called me and asked me if I wanted to set an earlier appointment because my item had shipped to their warehouse quickly! I opted for that. They called me the next morning and let me know that my rescheduled appointment wouldn’t be possible because a driver called out of work. I was surprised by the transparency and understood right away, I set a new appointment date but called them back right away and asked if I could just drive over and pick it up! The warehouse handler that picked up my freight packages was super nice, handled my item with care, helped me load it into my car and everything. I noticed they even had my fragile item with another fragile item, not stacked, but on the same pallet which was relieving to see. I had a solid experience with the PDX warehouse, I can’t speak for the other state sites but I would not mind if a future vendor chose to ship thru them again.

Unfortunately, this company has really dropped the ball on customer service and satisfaction. My order was placed through Walmart.com on January 2, 2021. Over a month later and I still have not received my order. My home delivery appointment has been rescheduled MULTIPLE times via email. No phone calls or communication! I have made arrangements each time to be home for the scheduled delivery but it never comes. This is completely unacceptable! Lesson learned, I will no longer do business with any company that uses Pilot Freight for their shipping & delivery.

They did not show up for the first scheduled delivery. I scheduled another one over the phone and they did not show again. No notification at all. Then several days later a delivery guy called and said they would be there in an hour which I was luckily home for, since they were already on the way. Very unprofessional and unresponsive. The appliance arrived with the packaging all torn up. I dont recommend doing business with them.

I have no idea how this company still exists with how they conduct their business. The only reason they are 1.8 stars currently is because they cant be given 0 stars as stated by many others frustrated with them ... 3 times I was given a delivery date, 3 times it changed with ZERO contact from them. They must be giving rates so low to huge corporations that they have to chose them regardless of how horrendously ran the company may be. Please anyone reading this, listen to mine, along with many others warnings and never use this company. Period. save your headaches.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered something from World Market on 12/28. I got an email from pilot saying they would deliver it on 1/11 between 10 and 6. It’s already frustrating to have such a huge delivery window, and after waiting at home all day they never showed. I called and the customer service agent said that they had just received the shipment and hadn’t unloaded it yet. When I complained that no one notified me that my shipment would be delayed so I waited at home all day for nothing, she apologized and stated someone would call me on 1/12. No one called so I went online and rescheduled the delivery for next week on 1/18 which was the soonest they had available. On a hunch I called today 1/13 to ask if it would be delivered as scheduled. The customer service agent then said it still hasn’t been loaded onto the correct truck, and they don’t even deliver to my town so they have to send it to another delivery service. So basically they scheduled an appt and didn’t show, then allowed me through their computer system to schedule another appt that they wouldn’t have been able to honor. I attempted to call corporate to file a complaint but was on hold for 30 minutes and had other things to do so I had to give up. It’s 2021, get your computer system fixed. The system shouldn’t be scheduling appts to areas you don’t even deliver to. Now I have no idea when my shipment will be delivered. This is unacceptable customer service. Get it together!

I want to give this zero stars and will report them to the better business Bureau today. I ordered a chair from Masaya in Tennessee. I received a notification that it was in transit 12/15 and would arrive expected 12/17. I have heard nothing since. I attempted to call 2 times and was on hold with no pick up for greater than 1 hr. I was able to get a hold of someone 1 time 2 weeks later and they said it was sitting on the portland dock. That was over a month ago. Masaya was contacted and contacted the portland dock twice and they stated they would reach out to me to schedule. 2 weeks later Nothing. Disgusted by this companies lack of communication and delinquincy in any aspect of customer service.

We have an order that has been at the Portland warehouse for a month. We have scheduled appointments (no show), made phone calls (personal messages left, VM left, hung up on), and sent email (no response). It is so frustrating to know our item is SO close, yet we do not have it. We would go pick it up if this was an option, but I cant even talk to anyone to figure out if it is. So horrible!

I took the second half of my day off for the appointment slot I scheduled in order for my treadmill to be delivered. The scheduled time frame said the equipment should be delivered between 3pm-7pm, yet the treadmill arrived at 11am when I was not home. What is the point of scheduling delivery windows if they are not going to be utilized? Poor service. Poor communication. This company needs to work on its policies and practices.

Wow. This was a terrible experience. Like some other reviews it should be rated 0 stars. I scheduled an appointment for our delivery. The night before the delivery I got a email saying my confirmed delivery was scheduled for 6 days later. I took time off from my job in the medical industry to be here for the delivery. I spent a hour on the phone for someone to give me a new number to call which sent me to a local warehouse from the company. I was told that my order was on the dock but wasnt scanned. After reading some of the other reviews this sounds like standard practice. Today was the second scheduled delivery through their website and they again didnt show up or contact us. Rescheduled for Thursday. Well see if they show up. I dont know why they schedule appointments if they cant make it. Dont use this service!

Didn’t honor our first delivery appointment on Friday (the estimated delivery at time of purchase was Thursday but our appointment was made for Friday). They informed us an hour after the delivery time (after us looking for the delivery truck for an hour) that they are bumping us to three days out. Got bumped to Monday with apology from the manager. Monday, again, they called to inform us an hour after the delivery appointment was scheduled. Super cheery guy but lacking any way to accommodate us or prioritize us. They hired another company to deliver for us and we got bumped to the end of the day.

I’m professional driver and I’ve never run across a company so unapologetic and discourteous. If you ever order anything from Walmart you better prey to god these clowns are handling your freight. Walmart guaranteed a certain delivery date and this outfit scheduled me on their own accord a week out from that without consulting me the customer. I call to try and reschedule and get an explanation as to why the product is going to be so late. I was told this is their standard business practice and that they cannot change my delivery time without a special request from Walmart. What a Joke!

I have been using Pilot for my business shipping for 15 years and love them! They have given me excellent service and take care of my shipments start to finish. They even helped me ship a large piece of art to Russia that many other shippers were unable to do and at a very fair price!

Ordered on December 3rd with expected ship date of December 17th. Did not happen, ship date was pushed out to December 27th, yeah, its the holiday season so sure I get it but now they have been sitting in a warehouse in Arizona since December 27th, Pilot website states they are still waiting to be picked up to be shipped up here to Portland. Supposed to be here tomorrow but cant see that happening. Will update post once, if ever, they get here.

Ordered two kayaks online on August 18, 2019. Scheduled to be delivered on August 21, 2019, but actually received only one of the kayaks on August 29, 2019. Contacted the company several times throughout the month of September trying to locate other kayak and was not able to find it. Requested a refund through the walmart website. Extremely unprofessional and disappointed in a company that is specifically designed to care for expensive, heavy packages. Cannot believe they would lose track of a whole kayak. Customer service was decent.

The only pro is the customer service are seemingly helpful and nice. But they dont know what theyre talking about. I ordered a kayak on December 3rd it was supposed to be delivered december 19th. It is now January 2nd. And after two scheduled appointments for delivery. I have given up hope and and didnt recieve it in time for a trip. Any business who uses pilot freight for shipping will not have my business.

They didnt have the address (WTH?), so I give it to them. I asked when they were going to deliver, they didnt have an answer. I ask as compensation that when they deliver they leave the package inside of my house instead of the curb and they agreed. They told me that they were going to confirm the delivery date that I scheduled previously by December 27th.DECEMBER 27th 8 am: Pilot freight called me to tell me that my request of delivering my package inside the home was denied and that I needed to talk to Sears (which I did) and after Sears talk to them IF Pilot Freight authorized the delivery upgrade they were going to confirm a delivery date. I told them let it in the curb I dont care, I just want my product, when are you going to deliver? NO ANSWER, the delivery department will call you to confirm. They basically call me, to tell me we are not going to deliver inside your house instead YOU need to call Sears outlet. YOU need to wait to see if we accept the request and we don’t have an idea about the delivery still.Really?I have so many questions:- Why didnt you call me or Sears when you didnt have the correct address for the delivery?- Why you made an appointment to deliver without an address? How on earth your process let you continue without an address?- Why you didn’t show up nor called to the appointment that you created?- Why don’t you have more customer representatives if you obviously have such a broken QA system so we as customers don’t need to wait 40 min to speak with someone.- Why did you care to call me to say “we will no to anything to compensate our lack of professionalism, why didnt you call Sears instead? Why in the world would you need to bother the client when this is obviously an issue that you can deal with internally? Unimaginably bad. Pilot says they delivered a 6x7mattress package to the local delivery service. Delivery service says they didnt.After several days of trying to track it down, during which no-one ever bothered to contact me from either firm, Pilot finally admitted that they have completely lost the $5000 package.Now I have to try to convince the mattress firm to ship another one.Pilot seems to be totally incompetent at what they co.

I ordered a welder almost a month ago, after not being able to schedule a delivery and calling them with no answer multiple times a day for multiple days they finally called me to tell me that they had lost my item in transit so that it would take even longer. Shipping is okay but the customer service is terrible, if you’re gonna run a business atleast pick up the phone or atleast return calls if someone leaves a message. 2/10 will never use them again if I have the option.

Ive shipped with Pilot on the West Coast from SF to Portland, as well as from Portland to New York. They did a fabulous job, and most of the shipments arrived ahead of schedule. I will continue to use Pilot.

Ive had two deliveries from Pilot and both of them, the same thing happened. I was given a delivery window then at the end of the delivery window I was notified the driver was going to be late. Then I get a text from the driver after 1:30 saying Im the next delivery. So now its 2:45 and Im still waiting for my delivery that was scheduled for between 9 and 12.I get the challenge of having to drive all over Portland because I do that as a home hospice nurse. In fact, I was just thinking about the *ONE* time I was as late as Pilot is and that was a tough day. That patient was going through an agitated delirium and I needed to spend hours in her house to keep her safe even though she spit in my face and tried to strangle me. But Im thinking thats not the kind of stuff that delays you all. I dont know WHAT delays you all. All I know is this is my day off and here I am. Waiting.I hope I never order something from a company who uses Pilot delivery services again. Although I guess if that happens maybe I can schedule delivery when Im sick and I have to sit around my house all day anyway.

Contacted them 3 separate times to get a pickup scheduled. All 3 times a representative gave me a day and a 3-4 hour window they would be there along with confirming my address, and they never showed. Went with a different delivery service and they came the 1st time. Would definitely not recommend.

My package was shipped through pilot. The item was sent to them on December 16th, they receive my item on the 18th. I had an estimated delivery date of December 22nd by 1700. My item did not arrive which is unacceptable, on top of that I called customer service, and was made to feel as if I was confused, when all I mentioned were the dates mentioned on there tracking website. I was tired of the back and fourth with the customer service rep, I therefore asked to speak with a manager, I was put on hold, how I was hung up on. I could tell, because I was taken off hold, and some one without hesitation just hung up without speaking on word. Completely unacceptable.
