As I put the other day in a review I gave to the same company but from Las Vegas. It is always a pleasure to work with this company. For us it is a peace of mind since it is as if a member of our company is doing the work. We do not doubt it, whenever we have to pick up an optical equipment, somewhere in the USA, the first thing we do is check if Navis Pack & Ship is available in the area.

We had a family heirloom grandfather clock we needed moved across the country from Portland and we were not looking forward to that. Like anyone else we were trying to get quotes to see what we were looking at. What immediately stood out for us about Navis was that they were local (503 area code), sent a couple of example pictures of other crates they had done and seemed to give more details on the process in their first quote. We debated for a day as Navis was a few hundred dollars more than some others but we felt like the extra was worth it to get the clock safely to us. They scheduled a day and time to pick up the clock, were right on time and honestly seemed genuinely friendly. What was more is before they took the clock they removed the pendulum,which I guess was important to not ruin the internals of it, had no idea! The next day we got a set of documents to electronically sign which was easy and fast. Two days later they sent us a tracking number. Once the clock got to our home we saw the need for a well constructed crate! My husband took out the screws, popped open the lid and there it was, safe and sound just the way we had given it to them. While I dont imagining needing them anytime soon, if we do they will not only be our first call but the only. Thank you Navis Portland team!

Used a team of 3 guys to move all of my furniture out of my house and into the garage so we could install new carpet.The showed up exactly on time, had called in the morning to confirm and did an excellent job of moving without any dings. Great guys that I plan to use again when we move. Cheaper than the amount of beer I would have needed to buy if I got my friends overCheeper thanv

Great service crating our $8K stone 3 salmon 400 lb sculpture. Great craters and on site staff. Friendly, experts and efficient. Better schedule early, very booked. Works with client. Not 5 stars, 10 stars.

I guess the can store packages. They did amazing packing a Sentimental piece of furniture . Stained glass lamp for me. I didnt trust my self to pack. They are locally owned and amazing owners. The manager is amazing. Must trust them with any delicate furniture .

International Shipping can be scary. I had never shipped to NZ and finally the time came. I dropped all of my life and families goods at Navis. It took time....to pack and organise. Then to organise the NZ side of it. Time to get here. I was nervous. When my shipment arrived from Oregon....the delivery crew here told me that it was the BEST packed shipment that they had ever received from the States. They told me that they had previously returned shipments to the States because they were I would have been gutted if that was me or if things were broken. . Not one glass was broken. Even my trunks were packed again in boxes. The care that Navis took was so appreciated. Its not easy moving overseas. I cannot express my gratitude for having it all taken such good care of and arriving so nicely. Wonderful job Rebecca Newell and team!

Sadly previous review was the packing process, but when shipped by movers and opened, our expensive 15K carved stone salmon was damaged; fins broken off and piece of art ruined. When company was contacted about damage.... CRICKETS.Navis contacted me after the above by email about original review, 3 months after problem and are blaming movers. Of course. I watched movers. They were careful and nothing on top of crates. But lets blame them and not the $700 crating service. What did I pay $700 for?
