They refused to give me the envelopes I needed in order to complete my shipment. The excuse was they wouldn’t have enough otherwise. Only gave me less than 1/2 of what I needed. They told me to go to another UPS store to get the rest. Should be their job to manage inventory, not mine! Ridiculous if you ask me. Don’t give them your business.
Ive always had a good experience at this UPS store. They are very professional and accommodating. I highly recommend.

Be warned, theres a thief working here. I tried to return a laptop at this store that I bought through amazon and much to my dismay found that it had been stolen by someone at this store. The manager informed me that they dont keep camera footage longer than 12 days or something ridiculous like that so I was unable to prove anything, and their corporate review process left much to be desired. Stay away from this store if you need to ship anything of worth.
They did not give me enough information about any possible additional fee for an international shipping and i charged for an extra $45 which if i went to usps, it would not be that. The twi ladies need more training. They only speak and spkeak

The employee is rude and mean, she threaten me to call the security because I was looking for the files in my phone to send them to their computer to print the documents . I’ll never go to this location again, she made me not feel safe to their location. It’s just really sad when you go to UPS and the employee threaten you to call the security to make up story .
I just asked for the person behind the counters supervisors number to file a complaint on her so she (Norma) called the police saying that I threatened her life. EDIT: the owner didn’t care at all about my complaint. He actually called me blaming ME for the situation without ever watching the video. Corporate claims that because while she was arguing with me, I pointed to the back saying, “go get me a superiors number,” that they are terminating my box. Enclosed is the email admitting that her behavior was unbecoming, but still digging for excuse to put the blame on me, more so than the employee. I POINTED at the counter. If you have a complaint, whisper and keep your hands out at your sides like an airplane. The owner Brian, has owned the store for less time than I’ve had my mailbox. He doesn’t want to make waves with a terrible employee that he lacks a relationship with. They also didn’t have the decency to call me, they just sent that email admitting fault, but diverting accountability.Seems as though in the current climate, one would understand the consequences falsely claiming your life is in danger. I have had a mailbox here for a year, have dealt with her several times and didn’t like her attitude or the lack of help she was giving to myself, or my significant other. I requested her superiors number, she immediately started talking over me, got on the phone, and tried to have to police essentially come shoot me. The place is filled with cameras and it is more than obvious that she was making dangerous false accusations. I will continue to reach out and have her superiors review this as well as the security footage. That type of false claim is dangerous and frankly murderous and I want something done about Norma immediately.
Web site said store was open til 7pm even during COVID and was an essential service. I got there at 6:19pm. There were still people inside but the door was locked. The open sign was on. They refused to come to the door, even when I held up my phone with the UPS Store web site page, and they refused to turn off the open sign. It was still on 5 minutes later. I had 8 packages that I had to carry up the sidewalk and I had to pay for parking because the UPS Store web site directed me to THIS location as the essential location. Further, I see there was a review from a month ago regarding the same problem. How hard is it to update the web site and how hard is it to politely come to the door and speak to a customer or to turn off the open sign at the very least.
Great Service and Fast-I was able to print shipping labels, return forms and purchase a shipping box efficiently and had great service from Norma. Great experience.
They charge $3 to print a shipping receipt, even charged a guy to cut his label! FedEx a few blocks away doesnt charge for this and is open later.
The most helpful and flexible staff. They assisted me with packaging my items and then went through every possible combination of shipping method to find the best price and even went out of their way to find me a shipping pack that wouldnt cost extra. USPS better pick up the slack!
This morning I was in a hurry and wanted to print and scan a file. The staff there acted very slowly and charged me 6 dollars for the printing and scanning. I gave them a thumb drive to save the scanned copy but when I get home, I cannot find the files anywhere in my drive.

Excellent service!I came in here after an emergency, and I needed to ship my things ASAP. Unfortunately for me, it was around 3:30pm on a Saturday, and they closed at 4pm.Sharon went above and beyond for me and my partner, helping me ship things the next day, a SUNDAY, and even discounted me for a box that I never ended up using. She was kind, considerate, and helpful and I am very appreciative for her help and excellent service.
I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE AT A UPS STORE EVER!!!! I had gone in yesterday to have some packages shipped for a conference Im attending and I knew going in that it would be more than a drop off, pay and leave sort of situation. I worked with the owner who was phenomenal and did everything she could to help me with the packages and even went the extra mile to help prep for the packages shipment after the conference. I highly recommend them for your shipping and even promotional materials needs!
This location gave me exceptional and timely service! I thoroughly appreciate the consideration they gave to a package that was important to my trip along the Oregon Coast. The staff members I engaged with here were the most helpful staff Ive ever encountered. Not only did they do a great job, quickly helping me find the most economical shipping option and carefully packaging my items to ship, they were also very friendly and a joy to work with. A+ to them!
I like this store; they are nice and provide good service. Only issue I have is their boxes are not on the cheap side but considering they accept anything on my behalf I guess paying a little more than USPS is alright. The business hours are also reasonable.
I love this place. I get most of my UPS packages sent here for a small fee. Sharon and Ruth are amazing. I have never had any issues with shipping or receiving packages here. Plus there location off of the Green Line Max is a bonus.

Who ever the main person there has horrible customer service skills. I was treated like a criminal simply dropping off a package with a label already attached. I also work nearby and she once came out of her store extremely rude when I was just doing my own job that in no way involves her. Fire her and get someone more pleasant.

Not great. Have any other need aside from dropping off a package and having the label made there? A reasonable question like: can you tell me when this package would be delivered? Shipping something with a label already attached? Be prepared for lazy, uncaring, uninformed, and unhelpful staff that seem to prefer chatting with their friends then helping a customer.

This store sells me a mailbox telling me o yes google will accept it as my business address, we have 12 other business here using our address. Then when I receive the post card from google and find out that they will not accept ups stores as my business address this ups store is unwilling to refund my money. seems like a scam

I usually get great service here, but J.R. has an attitude problem. He ignored me for a good 10 seconds before addressing me. After that, the way he talked to me was as if I had annoyed him, and he snapped at me twice to WAIT!! when he said I was giving my phone number too fast for him. I was sending very important legal documents, and needed to make sure they got delivered to the right place. I had to correct him on the address twice, which caused him to give me more attitude, and when I pointed out that it wasnt addressed to the name shown on the form I had, he told me it didnt really matter, and then heaved a big sigh as if it was the most inconvenient thing that had ever happened and told me he could change it if I wanted...I told him that the documents I was sending were really important immigration papers, so it matters if it goes to the right place, to which he just sarcastically said well, ok then... in a sing song voice. I wanted to get out of there ASAP, and told him to have a good one, to which he sarcastically said ooooook...! I go to this UPS store frequently, but will from now on avoid it if J.R. is working there.
Worst customer service ever. Save yourself from a horrible experience and visit the UPS Store on SW 3rd. The folks at the SW 5th location are rude and not helpful. Since they dont make any money from using a shippers UPS account number, they wont help you in the slightest and are generally cranky during the entire transaction. Also they would only (reluctantly) supply one or two day shipping options when using a shippers account number. I know there are other options because the store on SW 3rd provides all of them. Never going back to this store and neither should you.
Ive never been treated worse by an employee. I walked in, Andrew asked Can I help you with something, in an unenthusiastic tone. And I said nicely back, Yes! I would like to mail this letter. Now, Ive never purchase anything from here, so it was my first time. I asked how much stamps were, and he replied sarcastically 65 cents I then said how about a full sheet, and then he looked at me like I was an idiot for asking, and said 11 something, and since he was being so rude, I gave him the money for one stamp, and said, its ok Ill mail it out from my apartment.I dont know why he treated me so rudely, I was very nice to him, and he treated me with disrespect. He then sarcastically said…well have a nice day.Yes, I understand people have bad days, I work as a hostess, and have to talk to everybody that comes into our restaurant, even if I am having a horrible day, you do not treat others badly.
Horrible and rude customer service. Went in to ship an item using a UPS account not only not helpful but was pretty much yelled at me and belittled my choice why Id want to ship using an shipping account. While waiting witnessed him yelling at several other customers too about various other issues.

I cant praise the service at this store enough! I first visited them during the snowcalypse of 2016 - they were the only store still open. I live on Pacific Hwy (Barbur) and the Fedex across the street was closed for no reason - after all, the Pacific Hwy was still working fine! I had an urgent shipment to Missouri that could not wait another day. I first spoke with Sharon on the phone, and she not only gave detailed instructions on getting there, but also promised to keep the store open. I was the last customer in. They stayed open for 20 minutes beyond their closing time, so that I could get my shipment in order, use their internet, etc. and ship it out in time. Sharon did not even charge for the stationery that I had to use (even though I was willing to pay). All this, she did out of the goodness of her heart, knowing that even if Portland unceremoniously shuts down under an inch of snow, her business must function as the rest of the world does. Truly world-class service that I cannot praise enough.My only regret is that I did not write this review sooner. Also, Ive read some reviews here cribbing about perceived slights ... not only was my experience the total opposite of this, but perhaps these reviewers are upset because they are still students at the PSU and havent experienced the real world enough. Service like Sharons and this stores, inspired by true empathy for customers, is hard to come by. By the way, as for the Fedex Barbur across the street - a few weeks ago, I needed to print one page - just one page - and they refused to let me do it because I had arrived 5 minutes BEFORE closing time. Ive also seen them curtly ask other customers to go to the library instead. Just offering a contrast there. Needless to say, Ive stopped going there altogether, and give my business to this store, which is many miles away, at every chance I get.

This is a bad service. I was charged for printing a document in color when their printers are suppose to default the printer setting to black and white. Because their printers made a mistake and printed my document to the wrong printer in the first place that came out in color, the manager even said it wasnt suppose to happen but, I got charged for that mistake that was their fault and the way their printer was set up.
