We decided to bring our car in for AC repair since our GMC Yukon stopped blowing cold air. They took us in same day and were done by mid day. The price was fair and the service was great. This owner is kind and knowledgeable. He is a GMC owner himself and has all the tools to work on the cars. He truly wants to help the customer. Been back for additional work and have left feeling confident the mechanics did their job and I was charged fairly. If you want a reliable neighborhood mechanic, this is your place!

Good service. Friendly and fast. Part of the reason I chose to come here (aside from good reviews), was the fact that they had a $15 off coupon posted on their website. When I brought it in, they refused to honor it saying that their social media people sometimes post stuff without their knowledge. So I thought that was not handled properly and I got misled as a customer. Hence the reason for 4 stars and not 5.UPD: They actually called me back after and apologized for not honoring the coupon. Said it was a mistake and gave me a $15 credit for future service. Honest mistake and I appreciate them reaching back out to me and handling it this way. For this, this business gets the 5th star from me. Thank you!

After getting an oil change at a big box place, they told us our radiator needed to be flushed. They tried scare tactics to get us to pay them over $150 to do the flush. We declined at the time, thankfully. Sitting in the Starbucks parking lot I saw Kirks sign saying Is your car spring ready and decided to call for a quote. He had us bring the car over and took a look. He showed us the radiator fluid and said See this color? Its great and you need to go somewhere else for servicing. His honesty, attention to show us what hes seeing and never trying to pushing his own shop was shocking (in the most positive of ways). If you need an honest, blunt and educated quote or work done GO SEE KIRK!

This place is always professional, friendly and honest. Never had a bad experience with them. The only thing that was slightly off with this visit is that a young guy behind the counter didnt have his mask on. After I came in the door he quickly put it on. I dont know how thats supposed to work though--should employees wear them all the time, or only when customers are in the shop?

Kirk and his crew at Metro car care are simply the best. I was recommended to Kirk a couple of years ago by a friend and havent been anywhere else. A good mechanic is hard to find, one that communicates as effectively and respectfully to everyone, staff included. I have recommended several of my clients to him as he is as honest as they come. His quality and value are top notch.

They charged me over $100 to diagnose broken windshield wiper motor & transmission and then told me they couldnt fix it for lack of parts. I took it elsewhere and had the wiper motor replaced and the wipers are working great now. -Elizabeth Smith

I had a damaged tire, recently purchased out of state, but under a TirePro warranty. Metro Car Care is part of the Tire Pro network, and was recommended to me by the Tire Pro 800# representative. Despite the fact that it was the day before Thanksgiving, and really crazy busy, Kevin and his crew found a way to get me in and get my tire replaced. He handled connecting with the Tire Pro warranty folks, and the dealer I had purchased from out of state. By the end of the day, I had a new tire and was ready to go. Courteous, professional and caring - thank you, guys!

Just left Metro Auto. The service manager Bianca told me that I needed metal pieces taken from my car tires. I was initially there to have the tires balanced. She said my tires were from Les Schwab and they would do it for free. Honesty goes a long way! She could have done the balance and been paid. I’ll be back to buy tires when I need them. Good company! Horrible experience! They charged $100 to inspect the car. Quoted me $1800 for a parts and labor. I took it to a garage I trust. Turns out I didnt even need what they said I did. My garage showed me what parts Metrosaid to replace. They looked brand new, as they should I had them replaced 20,000 miles ago. I sent Metro and email saying that I wanted my money back. They called me and were super apologetic. admitting that they didnt even look at it. That there were holes in procedure. They did give me my money back. I dont know if they were really sorry or I just caught them. Long story short. Get a second opinion. Its hard to find an honest mechanic anymore. it saved me thousands.

I have used Metro Car Care for 10+ years for two cars and have never had a bad experience. They are thorough, communicate well and try to save you money. My experience is that they do the repairs right the first time.

Beware! Get a second opinion and quote for any work they think you need!Went in for an oil change. When I picked up the car they said my drive belts were cracked, and my transmission, power steering fluid and differential fluids were black. I knew I had my fluids done recently so went to a REAL mechanic. We looked at all the fluids together and all were very clean. The belts had just been changed out 6 months ago and were also fine.They out and out lied about everything but the tires.

My mother has trusted him for years to take care of her cars needs. Totally satisfied. Always goes the extra mile. Explains things well and checks back to make sure she is satisfied.

Horrible experience. Emailed for an 8:30 AM appointment, which they confirmed but then their automated emails first confirmed 8 AM, then 9AM so I had to call and reconfirm what time I could go in. I went in for a noise that needed looking into and a Bluetooth update for my Subaru. They failed to mention that they dont have Subaru updates!! Im so disappointed. Poor attention to details. They did follow up with an apology email but are insisting it is my fault since they mentioned they would look into the Bluetooth once I got there. How can you accept an appointment for two issues and not mention they cant help with one of them!? Worst car service Ive ever experienced.

I popped a tire on my way home last night. Not only did they fit me in sameday on the Friday before a snow storm prediction, but they called me back not long after to tell me they were able to move something around and get me in an hour earlier. Thank you Metro Car Care!

There was a high pitched noise that came from my engine and I brought the car here to get it fixed. They charged me $1,200 and told me that they knew what the problem was... and that it had been fixed. Its been about 4 months now, and the problem is back. Just enough time for the warranty to have expired.. heck you couldnt have timed it better if you had tried. If you own a Toyota, youvery been warned.

This is an honest mechanic - does not do anything your car does not need to have done and will consult you before doing any extra work. They also guarantee their work and are awesome!

I have to say, that you wont find a more honest group of people to take your car to. I have dealt with a lot of untrustworthy folks in the past, and Metro has always done excellent work, they are forthright throughout the process, and it is always a fair price. I have also heard glowing remarks from other folks that work in the auto repair industry here in Portland.I cant them give a higher recommendation.
