I took my older 93 Ford Explorer in with the passenger window stuck in the fully down position, the staff quickly assessed the problem and went to work helping me get it back up.Not only did they take the time to help me but they found the window motor was just bound up and were able to free it, lubricate it and send me on my way. In addition, they didn’t charge me for the time they spent which amounted to about a half hour.I felt very pleased that they were able to solve my problem, were very professional. Their shop rates are very reasonable and they made a future customer out of me should I need repair in the future.A real class act!

Its been delay after delay, and they wont even diagnose mechanical issues that happen to your car from being rear ended. I feel very cheated and ripped off and wish I would of never taken my car here. this place will not put your car back to pree loss condition. it simply wont. unless u want to pay out of pocket for something that happened to your car in the accident and the other ins accepted full liability... but this place wont fix your car properly. period. very upset. never go here.

From start to finish, the staff were friendly and thorough. They took the time to answer my questions, and even when they had to spend more time than they originally estimated, they only charged me the amount on the estimate. I just had some work done on my Honda Accord and I have to say the team at Lents really took care of me. They provided a quote but also explained to me what my options were so I could decide how much money I wanted to invest in the repair. Yes, I couldve spent a lot more money and just replace every damaged part, but Jim walked me through ways to save and still end up with a vast improvement. They were very friendly, helpful, got the work done on time and gave me a ride home after drop off. I would highly recommend Lents to anyone needing repairs. Just picked up my RAV4 from Lents Body Shop. This was the second time Ive used them - they also repaired my GTi after I got T-boned at an intersection, and now tree damage with the RAV. Both times I have been blown away by the quality of their work and the professionalism of their service. James kept me informed every step of the way, delivered the vehicle back to me way ahead of schedule and the results were absolutely flawless (they even replaced the tiny strip of clearbra down the edge of the drivers door that had a tiny nick in it - their attention to detail is impressive - James surely you didnt think I wouldnt notice this and I am grateful thank you :-) They worked seamlessly with my insurance company, which made me feel a lot more comfortable. Hopefully I wont need to use them a third time, but meanwhile Im happy to recommend them to anyone. Theyre clear across the other side of town from me and for sure theres plenty of choice in this line of business, but Im glad I found a shop that I can completely trust.

Getting into a car accident is guaranteed to be an awful experience. Lents and their staff really advocate for you. They go out of their way to keep you updated through the process. I cant say enough about Laurel. She is so kind and empathetic, but more than that, she fought my insurance company to guarentee I got the correct parts. She communicated with me the entire time. I never had to check in with Lents on the status of my car, because they updated me. I hope I never get into another accident, but if I did I would only trust Lents to repair my vehicle. Oh and they returned my car in pristine condition. I highly recommend anyone, even if you dont live in the area to take your car to Lents Auto Body.

I was rear ended and my car looks newer than it did when I first got it and its a brand new car! Ive never really determined if I just went to a body shop or simply dropped my Jeep off at a spa for a rejuvenating get-away.Highly receptive and responsive from the beginning, the entire transaction took place through email and two phone calls. The point of contact, Laurel, was always quick to respond and kept me up to date on everything and dealt with all the insurance communications.The workmanship was also great. The repair was as if nothing was ever damaged, the interior was left clean, and a nice plastic film was placed on the floor for protection from dirty boots.This was the most pleasant and stress free body shop experience I have ever had in my 23 years of owning vehicles.

This is one of those situations where you wish you could give more than 5 stars. Trusting someone to repair your call is a big exercise in faith...lol. I did a lot of online research and read a lot of reviews. Im happy to say I ended up at the right spot. My truck was almost brand new when it was hit. Im not ashamed to admit Im a little OCD about where I take my vehicles and selecting a shop was a long process. From phone call, to appointment to finished work they exceeded my expectations at every turn. I had tons of questions (maybe too many), a special request or two (maybe three?) and while I dont consider my self a difficult customer I definitely expect my service providers to hold themselves to a high standard of customer service. I was never made to feel like a pain in the a** or a burden. The experience was all about making sure I was comfortable and taken care of the whole way. I have taken my Dodge Challenger here twice now both after being hit. The first experience was outstanding all around. The service exceptional. They kept me very informed with every step they took and worked hard to get my car back to me in A timely manner. The first time the damage was extensive I believe it was about 16000.00 that they billed. The second accident was minor with about 7000 in damage and my experience was far from outstanding the second time around. They were still professional but were no where near on top of everything as they were the first time. I cant help but believe the service I received depended on the extent of the bill. This is the only disappointing thing I saw. They gaurentee their work and they are good at everything they do.

Very friendly and helpful knowledgeable staff. They are willing to help a lot more than some of the bigger chain Auto Body places in the city. Their drawback of being independent is that they are the only facility so they cannot send your car out to be worked on at another shop there by shortening the timeline in waiting for your vehicle. So it can take longer.

Lents repaired & painted my truck & it looks great! This is the best experience I’ve ever had in a collision scenario!!! The entire staff is super friendly, not stressed out and very helpful. You can tell management takes care of their employees who in turn takes care of their customers.

We had some work done on our MINI countryman. This was a really great experience and I was compelled to want to share. Dawn, Dylan and staff are phenomenal. Very friendly, helpful, informative and accomdating.I was initially worried because Im very protective of my MINI.Your first impression, the building and office, is not your stereotypical dirty, greasy body shop. Its clean, the staff is dressed professionally and really welcoming. The same cant be said for the import shop Portland MINI referred me to.The location is convenient and Hertz is just around the corner for a rental.The work itself? Just as youd expect. Youd had no idea that there was any damage to your car. Just like new.The communication was fantastic, I got updates the entire time my car was with them.Integrity- when we picked up our car initially, Dylan noticed there was an issue with some paint that we didnt notice. We were able to bring back the car at our convenience and they took car of it and provided us a rental.While I hope I wont need any repairs to my car again, Im most definitely returning to Lents Body Shop if I do.

Having a need for auto body repair generally puts me in state of apprehension and dread. It all went away very soon after meeting and greeting the good people of Lents Body Shop. Every single staff person in my chain of experience was a pro at the top of their game. Not only are they reasonably priced, welcoming and helpful, attentive, thorough and cheerful, they did beautiful work. I cannot tell there was ever anything amiss with my vehicle. I came here after a girl sideswiped my baby. The quarter panel and drivers side door was scraped and in really bad condition. My friend recommended me here and they finished fast and efficiently. The paint job was the quality of a European paint job it was FLAWLESS! I could not even tell if it had been in an accident all the lines on my car matched up and the paint matched perfectly with the car. I have gone back here to paint my front bumper and it came out just as good, I recommend everyone to bring their car here if you want a descent job.

I took my 2015 Ford F-350 in for repair last month. They got it in their shop in a timely manner, the front desk staff that greeted me and took care of my paperwork was fabulous and the end result was amazing! This was my husbands new truck that I wrecked and I was worried he would always be able to see where it had been fixed because hes very picky, but he cant! It is as good as new! I took my car there to have it fixed after someone dented my car when it was parked on the street unmanned. They were very timely and even paid for a rental over the weekend so I wouldnt be without a car! And when they gave it back, it was all cleaned, inside and out, even picking my things up and vacuuming the interior, so nice for me!!! I highly recommend!

This guy is only nice to you if you have insurance. I had my car fixed here after an accident and the owner was very friendly. I came back a year later wanting to fix a scratch I made on my girfriendss car door and wanted to pay the repair myself instead of going trough the insurance and the guy was mean and would only replace the whole door. I went elsewhere and they did a perfect repair for $250 since it was a clean scratch.

My experience with Lents of Portland wasThey left me with my once very clean/like new interior 2010 Nissan Frontier with only 2300 miles on it, that I purchased brand new in 2010 with damages to the interior. They gave it back to me in really bad condition.Fixing a leak coming from my sunroof ended up with a very bad installed roof liner, 4 glue spots on my once like new front seats which they would not take blame for. Who ever worked on it in there shop is covering there ass because my front seats were stain/ glue free and damaged by them. I have taken my company truck and sons car to them in the past, but after this experience I will not be taking any of my autos to them again!!!. I now l have a truck with damages to it that were not there when I took it to them.Several glue stains on my front seats which they refused to replace...A very poorly installed roof liner.very heavy scratches on the passengers side of the center console..All I can say to anyone out there if you do take your car/ truck to them for work.. MAKE SURE TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE TO HAVE PROOF OF THE SHAPE IT IS IN BEFORE THEY START ANY WORK ON IT.

The folks who work at Lents is definitely good people. They are professional, experts at what they do, and do it with pride.My vehicle: 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Turbo Limited - Atlantic Blue. Basically an adult WRX STi. A difficult color to match and blend due to the metallic flop in the paint - IE, when you look at it from different angles, the color will shift because of the metallic reflection. These guys nailed it.Vehicle was damaged by the transportation company from Denver to Portland - Front and Rear Bumper, left quarter panel, and scratches.They dealt with the transportation company (who after months of phone calls and emails to their vice president), agreed to pay for the damages - we finally brought the car in.I worked with Corey (estimator) and Sherman (technician). I cant stress the enough, but both of those guys really take pride in their work.There was some other damage to the vehicle - parking lot dings, and oxidized paint on the roof from moss - things I obviously did not claim. They worked with me to repair the other damaged areas - which was extremely reasonable in terms of cost. There were certain body panels that I wanted to save for later due to the high costs, which Corey said we can address at a later date. However, Sherman saw that we couldnt leave those panels as-is, and would not blend with will all the excellent work he had done on the rest of the vehicle, and took it upon himself to finish that panel as well.Now, the entire vehicle looks brand new - awesome for a 10 year old car. We are excited to have it back.My father had a repair and body shop in Los Angeles (he has retired over 10 years ago), and me being a car guy (the Subaru is obviously not stock), I can appreciate the detail they put into the repair.

It was a pretty easy place to find generally, however the driveway was a little bit more of a mystery. Once I got my car situated in the right place I was able to wait inside where it was warm and dry.

To start off, the only reason they are getting a two stars and not one is because cory had a personality and made the experience pretty good. However that did not compensate for the work. I had a brand new 2016 Subaru which had minimal paint damage from someone scraping it when backing out. The damage was no more than 2 inches wide and hardly noticeable. The driver who did it insisted on paying so I brought it here. They told me they had to pull the bumper and respray the entire thing. I said no problem. $700+ later i drove away thinking all was good. Turns out they never pulled the bumper because there was over spray on some pieces of the vehicle where no paint would be able to touch if they pulled it. ALSO, they sprayed the small affected area where the scratch was NOT the full repaint of the bumper as charged and not to mention with the wrong paint color LOL. They were hesitant to take it in at first and after finally taking it back they actually did the work they promised but upon arrival to pick up my car the 2nd time. The bumper clamps had be cracked and now my brand new car has a misaligned bumper.Moral of story- Great personality with bad work. Dont take your vehicles here unless you want half a** work :)Updated:

Our experience at Lents was AWESOME!!!! It was flawless from start to finish! When we started looking for a shop we went to three different places, because we wanted to make sure we were going to the right place!Our car is a 2005 Toyota, we werent expecting show room quality, but we wanted it to look great! We chose Lents, based on reviews, and first impressions when we walked in!!!!We worked with only one person thru the whole process! Dylan was awesome; thorough; and explained everything, he kept us in the loop as to when the car would be finished and if there were any hick-ups, ect!!!The girls in the office, Dawn and Troya are awesome! Very kind, and understanding! They did all the squaring up with our rental, Troya even delivered me to Enterprise up the road, because it just so happened that others were needing a car, and the company that picks you up didnt anticipate they needed a bigger car!!! Lol!!!!Lents did a great job on our repairs!!! We love my car all over again! It looks awesome! I took my car in to Lents after it had been hit while parked on the side of the road. The drivers side was pretty much destroyed. I was worried that the insurance company would total out the car, but lents worked with me to keep the cost in range.Lents worked with the insurance company, which wanted to use parts that were not best suited to repair my car. They stood by their statement that the parts the insurance company wanted wouldnt work and supplied them with pictures - ultimately the insurance company agreed with Lents.The best part, and a complete surprise to me, was that because of the delay caused by the insurance company Lents wanted to do something extra. They repaired some fairly large scratches running all the way accross the other side of my car (not related to the accident) for free and without me asking.Corey, from Lents, kept in contact with me throughout the process and I have nothing but good things to say about him or about Lents.
