Ive taken my cars to Bills for many years. I trust my cars to him in complete confidence that the work is completed with excellence.
He does good work on. Very reasonable
Excellent Person owns this establishment, honest and reliable with any issues on your vehicle.
Great service ..trustworthy, professional
Excellent mechanic, makes sure all repairs are perfect and most of all hes HONEST. Stands behind his work. I wont go anywhere else ever! He and his employees are the best.
For 3 years I brought my Honda Element here. Thorough, friendly & honest. No hesitation to recommend. Know that they do get busy, so don’t assume they can see you ASAP.
I just got my first car within this last year and knew my dad had been going here for years so I figured I would give it a shot. Their service is excellent and they are not afraid to explain exactly what the problem is if any. They are usually done within a reasonable amount of time and they do the job right the first time so you dont have to go in again for the same thing. All this being said they can be a bit pricey, at a little over $100 hourly rate it can be tough to pay for when you dont make very much or have lots of other expenses. For anyone who is in a stable financial situation I would definitely recommend this place. You really do get what you pay for, Bill and his employees do fine work and should be paid appropriately for it.
Most trusted mechanic shop Ive been to. They strive for the best customer service and delivering what is right for their customers. With out a doubt they put the quality in their name. I cant express how thankful I am! Thanks Bill and team!
I took my little 40 Ford on a very long road trip after Bill and his staff checked it all out. Bill has worked on the car many times and Ive never been disappointed. I had no problems with it and as it hummed along and didnt overheat or have any other issues, it was a real pleasure to drive knowing it was in the best condition possible. Thanks Bill !!!!!!
Honest mechanic that does great work. What else can you ask for...
I took a 20 year old truck to him to have checked out and a couple minor issues corrected. Did it on estimate and really fast. He fully explained everything he did, repaired and noticed might be a problem down the road. An excellent shop and mechanic.
Actually, this review is from a guy name of Russ Taylor but for some unknown reason this computer wants to plug in my girlfriends name.In latter part of May 2018 I took my old (1995) Isuzu Trooper to Bills Quality Automotive for a routine change out of the timing belt and water pump but learned that the unfortunate deer collision I had in September of 2017 had damaged the radiator and air conditioning condenser to the point where both needed to be replaced. Stupid deer! But, as turns out, smart me for taking the rig to Bill and his crew. They did the work first class in a timely fashion with a free loaner car in the bargain. Also, fixed a problem with driver side door and hood latch at no extra charge. This is exactly the auto shop I was hoping to find. They are not the cheap guys but likely the best in Portland. If you value your vehicle this is the place you want to take it.
I took my truck to 4 other mechanics to fix the low oil pressure in my 2000 Chevy Silverado, but got nowhere. Bills Quality Automotive not only diagnosed and fixed the low oil pressure, but also a myriad of other problems. If you are looking for a good honest mechanic, this is it. Im taking my truck here from now on.
Great local mechanic
Ive never felt like Bill and his team were trying to sale me a repair, he tells you how it is and you decide what to do with it. I trust them and their pricing seems fair for the quality work they do.
Honest and efficient work. Someone i can trust
I am sure Bill doesnt need my endorsement, but i feel like people should know how great my experience has been with Bill.First, weve been going to Bills, off and on, for around 10years. I say off and on because when we take a car in, he fixes it right the first time. Never had to bring anything in twice for the same issue.Weve own a few used cars over the years and of course the used car problems that come with them. Weve brought our Jetta and our Element to Bill and hes always been very thorough, straight forward, fair and even with my pretty good understanding of automotive repair and maintenance, Bill has been great with educating us.Case in point. The first car my wife and I purchased 13 years ago was a 1989 Jeep Grandwagoneer. I know, I know. It is pretty sweet. We started off taking it to a place out in Tualitan to get work done because the previous owner had taken it there and knew the car. We finally gave up on those guys after a few years and brought her to Bill. He had her purring like never before. Dreams of her restoration was on the horizon, then life (literally) stepped in. The Kids came and driving car that gets 9 - 12 MPG wasnt gonna work for the family. So the Jeep was garaged, only to be revived for a weekend, here and there. We broke her out recently (after 3 years of siting) until we get our next car. Bill, gave her a once over as he did the much needed oil/fluid/grease change. The V8 was once again on the road. Bill, helpful as always, provided a verbal report card, pointed out suggestions and adjusted the carburetor. We own much newer, low maintenance cars now and i am sure he can do these oil changes in his sleep. But if dont have the time or patience to work on the Jeep, there is only one place I trust with her. Bills Quality Automotive. He knows cars - period.
Bill really cares that your car is repaired right. Ive gone to Bill for years and trust him completely.
Honest and fair! Great work and I will never take my cars anywhere else!
Im a DIYer in most cases. but when something comes around Im not comfortable handling, I bring it to Bill. great team, great work!
Masterful. You pay for what you get and you get quality.
These guys are terrible, they did a trany service and overfilled it so now it will cost me about $500 to get the seals and gasket repaired.... They are Idiots......
