CAUTION, WARNING, DO NOT DEAL WITH J STOUT, VERY DIS-HONESTFirst I must say I am not new to auctions, and havent had an issue with an individual or company in many years. With that said, my experience with J Stout was the most frustrating and disappointing interaction.Payment:So you win a lot, and call per the terms to make payment. They try to get you to email them a credit card authorization with all your information, which is in direct violation of PCI Requirement for credit card processing, and is a great way to get your identity hacked, which just happed to me. They wont take your information over the phone either, stating they need a signature, which leads me to believe they file your CC info which is another violation.Ok so they will accept a wire transfer, and as I was setting up payment, I received notification a payment dispute was opened with ProxiBid, and J Stout sent me another invoice with late charger. This all happed within the payment terms period. I was not late. To make a long story a little shorter, they did remove the late fees, but again tried to force me to email them CC info. I had to go to their bank and deposit cash. Ok so payment complete. Which brings us to the stuff I bought, which was listed and 14 Jeldwen windows. There were two pallets of windows wrapped in Jeldwen packaging. Everything looked fine. There was no way to tell until they were un-wrapped, but they were old pull outs, not Jeldwen and should have been taken to the dump. OK so must be a mistake. Nope, they refused to do anything but waist more of my time. So Im out $375, way too much time and frustration, my daughter doesnt get her windows and J Stout seems to be fine with that. My advice is do no deal with them.

I live in Vegas and i bought a car here 3 weeks ago, I got the car and they didn’t sent the title, i sent an email asking for the title and the lady (Kathy) told me that she have 21 days to send the title because that’s the law. WOW, I’ve been buying cars from many auction companies and they sent the title right away. Now i have a car that i can’t drive, and i don’t have a parking spot available so I park on the street with no license plate or permit.. And this lady told me that she can send it within 21 days because that’s the law... Besides that the car has a check engine light and they didn’t put it on the description.. NOT A GOOD COMPANY.... Now the DMV is close until April 30.. THANK YOU J STOUT!

Great government auction source!

Bought a truck a week and half ago still havent received the title in the mail like I was told I would. Currently stuck with a vehicle I cannot drive in WA, as it has no plates, so despite insurance, it is ridiculous to attempt with nothing but an auction decal. Pretty irritated because I was told I would receive it 4 days ago... starting to wonder if this is a scam disguised as an auction house.

Top notch customer service from this crew. Love the variety of the inventory available. One of the best heavy equipment auctions in Portlanad Oregon. Also love the government surplus auctions. So many great deals! Looking forward to the next one.

This was my first time at this auction after taking part in a few others. J Stout makes it easy to preview your potential purchases with plenty of staff driving around their huge lot ready to offer assistance. The staff were friendly and they even had complimentary refreshments on hand to quench our thirst after a long, hot day of walking the lot.I ended up making a purchase and the staff were there to help me with every concern I had. I left extremely happy and wouldnt hesitate to make another purchase in the future!

Obvious missing parts not even mentioned in the auction. I understand buyer beware. However they dont make it any easier for the internet buyer. Be careful and look close.

Had a mixup where somebody removed an item that was supposed to be included in my lot. Staff quickly reworked my paperwork and made it right. Thumbs up for JSA, thumbs down for the guy that took what wasnt his.

Did an online auction through proxibid that the software malfunctioned on. While proxibid would not claim any ownership over the issue, these guys were nothing but helpful and resolved the issue. Theres a lot of companies who couldve forced me to pay for way more than I bid and used the technical issue as an excuse to do so. Instead, they took care of me and did the right thing. Awesome service.

The auctions here are very good and I love the selection of rigs available all the time via the buy it now section on the website.

I recently purchased heavy equipment via their online auction and had it shipped to my location All I had to go on were the pictures, and the description. I later found out that the description was a distortion. It claimed to have significant features the equipment did not have. Stouts response is they cant be held responsible for anything they write about the equipment. Ignore anything they write...assume they are lying and attempting to deceive you.
