I was about to buy a car from a private seller with a lien on it, thanks ClearVin report that saved me from being involved into the hassle with the third party. Extremely useful VIN checkup and friendly customer service

I bought car after generating report which showed there was no junk information. After about two months, I had to sell the car and ran report again to provide to the prospective buyer and the report was showing junk information reported several months back before I bought it. Why didnt the junk information show in the report when I bought it? Inaccurate report. Dont recommend at all.

Unfortunately, the negative reviews are mostly right. All the information on the site can be found free. The real info you need like if a bank still holds a lien on a vehicle will NOT be on this site. Atleast on our state BMV website they list the previous bank, and the loan amount and the loan origination date. The paid portion of this site had 0 of these items.

Decent site to find any trusted Vin info online. Trusted becoz data provided in reports is nmvtis approved. bought the vin report and it really proved a lot helpful while deciding to buy a car from online auction. Just check the history report by entering the vin no and report is yours.
