I cannot believe how terrible Pyramid has been to me. First, they leave a huge scratch on my wood floor and refuse to even respond to me about it. Second, the cooling system is making a horrendously loud noise and they delayed weeks in sending anyone out, he came at the wrong time, and now hes telling me theres nothing wrong with it. After he left, now it’s been leaking water to the point of damaging my walls.I keep sending them videos showing them how loud it is (we literally cant concentrate or talk when it is on) with no response. I absolutely do NOT recommend this company and hope we can come to a resolution of this matter soon given the severe heat wave.

Pyramid Heating & Cooling worked with me to schedule best available time for cleaning ducts and vents for my gas furnace and advised as to best ways to run efficiently and optimize maintenance.
First of all I want to say the installers were great, but the problem begin with them trying to contact the electrician, come to find out that the work order was not sent to the electrician so we were unable to test and than use our system for 2 days. Second we had 4 units installed but were only given 3 remotes, trying to reach someone was horrible, kept getting answering machine with no call back, finally after 2 days and several hours we were told the remote was left which was untrue, and it could take up to 2 weeks for one. Thirdly the unit in our sons room does not work and Im afraid to even try to reach anyone. This was supposed to be a awesome experience but has turned into a nightmare. Manager does not seem very sympathetic to issue and made me feel as if I was being a pest.
I am incredibly thankful that Pyramid was so responsive to my request to revive my AC system. Deon showed up on time was professional and knowledgeable and replaced a part and got it running again! It was an overall wonderful experience!
Dean was methodical, focused, and friendly. He helped me understand what the issues were and made corrections and fixes where he could. I appreciate his hard work and efforts in trying to get our HVAC working again and dont hold the Sunday after hours fees against him!!
Great job fixing the initial issue and prioritized fixing damage caused by a faulty part the next day. They didn’t charge me extra for the damage caused by their faulty part which shows great commitment to customer satisfaction. These guys and specially the tech Randy deserve our appreciation and respect
Randy came out to check out our furnace and air conditioning. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also showed us that our furnace has a damper and how to adjust it through the seasons. We just purchased our home and thought we should have the HVAC system checked out and we are glad we did as he found a problem with the motor. My wife was complaining about a noise that she heard when the system started up and sure enough there was a problem. We are glad he came out now as opposed to when the system breaks down. It was moneywell spent!!!
December 2020 we paid for air duct assessment. We were told within one week we would receive the report. It is july 2021 and we still have not received the report. We have called once every month for 6 months and not one person called back or returned our phone calls for a refund. This delayed our home repair projects because we were wanting to replace the air ducts. Every time I call in, a manager is unavailable. I give them my information and nothing happens.
I have always been pleased with how efficient and professional pyramid heating and cooling has been. The technician Michael has been a joy to work with. A new technician came today, Deon, who was rude and unprofessional. He was misinformed and tried to charge me 3x what was quoted. This may be a glitch in their system with how many mini splits I have. But I turned him away due to his unprofessional behavior. I would have paid it but did not want this technician in my home. He could have handled it differently.
Great service! Our technician Randy was awesome. He did an excellent and thorough job cleaning our ducts and vents using a vacuum and a brush to get all that caked on dirt and dust. It was way overdue. He answered all our questions about our HVAC system with knowledge and professionalism. He was also very focused, attentive and didnt waste any time getting right to work. We highly recommend Pyramid Heating and Cooling and Randy too.

I called up Pyramid this morning to request a service on our wall furnace. They were able to get someone out same day! Deon, our technician, was so congenial, professional, and helpful. He took the time to explain everything to us and recommend some options to consider for ultimately replacing our old and outdated unit. We couldn’t be more pleased with the service we received and would definitely recommend them to anyone!
Five stars for my technician, Randy. He was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and answered all of my questions. I had some concerns that I addressed with him and he shared the company will follow up with me after further, more detailed review. I chose Pyramid because they installed my system as a new build and I figured they’d be familiar with the layout. Randy confirmed my suspicions that there were airflow issues on my second level (no damper was installed on the second level duct) and it could possibly be error of the initial installation. I’ll be back to update this review after I see how Pyramid handles this from here. Again, Randy was wonderful! Highly recommend this technician.
I recently used Pyramid for an AC unit that was short cycling. Victor T. was my technician and was a pleasure to deal with. Victor arrived on time, was professional, quickly diagnosed the issue, and happened to have the part needed to fix the issue stocked in his work vehicle. Victor was able to get my AC unit back to up and running before the most recent heat wave. I would use Pyramid again for my HVAC needs.
Might be a good company but Ill never know. They took my info and said they would call to schedule an appointment. Two + weeks later Im still waiting for a call back. Found someone else who was out the next day.
Deon did a fantastic job. Found 3 small things he took care of made some notes in my file and gave lots of excellent advice. I also appreciated hearing about his job and ongoing training. He told me about duck work cleaning and how the furnace works. He also spoke highly of the owner and how good the company is to work for. Victor, our technician was simply amazing, we have had two people prior him that could not identify nor fix the issue. He nailed the problem right away, super professional and kind and honest. He even suplied me with a temp filter free of charge until I can get a replacement for the one I need. That kind of integrity in the service industry is not only a rarity nowadays but the result of his honest visit and fantastic approach has just earned this company a customer for life, thank you Pyramid and thank you Victor.
I had a strange noise in my ducts and needed them cleaned. Pyramid was less than half the cost for cleaning as another company I called ($350 vs $900). Randy did a fantastic job finding and correcting the noise too! A duct in the crawl space needed to be strapped up better. We are so happy to have that fixed, and he didn’t even charge more than the cleaning. I highly recommend Pyramid. Fantastic experience!!!
Michael knew what he was doing and I hope we are well on the way to getting out six year old Carrier Infinity heat pump to operate correctly since it was installed by another Carrier dealer. Happy with Pyramid but not happy with Carrier

Pyramid installed the HVAC system at our new home in 2016 and we have continued to use their services for maintenance as well as for AC repair just this April. Now, with the AC running, we have noted excessive water condensate likely coming from the HVAC. I understand that they are extremely swamped with the construction of new homes and requests for AC installation. When we called them for this leaky HVAC, they conveniently said we are not a current customer and would not come by to service our home. So much for customer loyalty.
Dion did our scheduled servicing today. He was very thorough; he went out of his way to recommend ways to improve our property. He explained, in detail, ways to improve our air circulation. Thank you, Dion!
So happy the rental company went through Pyramid to fix my heat. My heat went out during the snow/ice storm on one of the coldest nights. The person (I meant to catch her name) who scheduled was personable and super helpful. Randy showed up this morning, even though the roads are snowy, and he went about and beyond to get my heat fixed. I really appreciate you all!!
Jared with Pyramid Heating and Cooling did a thorough and efficient job of completing maintenance on my AC. He was friendly and knowledgeable - taking time to explain what he was doing and how to get the best performance out of the AC and furnace.
Randy arrived and cleaned all the ducts after the construction left them full of sheet rock and other building materials. He also installed a new furnace filter as it was time for a change. He was respectful, polite, and thorough. We also asked him about a non-functioning thermostat, and he took the time to investigate and order a new one to be installed. Wonderful service!

I continue to be impressed by Pyramid. From the initial estimate to the original installers, the office staff, and the technicians who come to service our split, weve had nothing but excellence. Polite, professional, and just really nice men and women. I have no hesitation to recommend them publicly, and Im disappointed in myself that I forgot to do this after the installation. Better late than never I suppose, and if youre intending to get AC and heating in your home give Pyramid a chance to impress you as well.
I could not be more pleased with Pyramid. A few weeks ago a breaker on our furnace tripped. We had an emergency service and the person showed me. how to set the breaker if it happened again. Last week it tripped again and started going off every 30 minutes. I figured I needed a new furnace so I called some local companies and checked Home Advisor. Pyramid came by and their consultant suggested that I first have a technician check out the furnace. I scheduled an appointment and this Wednesday Keith came by and did some diagnostics. He told me it was the secondary heat exchanger. He also told me that Carrier had issued a Bulletin about the heat exchangers possibly being defective and that he could replace them at no cost. He also advised me that the blower was not performing well and recommended I have that replaced as well. I agreed and the following day I got a call that the parts had arrived and could be replaced that day. Keith came back and within a couple of hours we were back up and warm. Had these folks not been ethical they could have just sold me a furnace for $8K or so and I would not have known better. If I ever need service again there is only one company I would consider calling

They always discuss the right solution for us even if its not the most expensive and they never push us toward items that dont best suit our needs. Our regular tech Deon is AMAZING. Always giving a thorough check up on our systems and keeping everything in top working order.
I hired Pyramid for two jobs: 1) installing a new furnace and 2) duct cleaning.General review: experienced crew but unreliable scheduling and poor customer service. They missed an appointment entirely, rescheduled and then showed up 30 minutes outside of the 2 hr time window they gave us. After asking, all the offered us was $25 dollars off of our $5,000+ contract... Overall, I was disappointed and will not give them anymore business.1) The furnace installation went relatively smoothly. The guys accidentally cut a wire when they were installing the sidewall exhaust so we lost power to a portion of our house, including our internet. However, they fixed this within 30 minutes and it wasnt a big deal.2) For the duct cleaning, I got a text only 15 minutes before our 2 hr time window stating that they would not make it out to our house that day and we would need to reschedule. A little inconvenient since I had just worked two 16hr shifts and had woken up early to let them in for our scheduled duct cleaning/had planned my day around the appointment.So we rescheduled for another appointment and when the day came they didnt show up for the 2 hr time window they gave us (11am-1pm). Eventually the technician showed up at 1:30 and did a solid job as far as I can tell. However, we had planned our day around a 11-1pm arrival time and I had to reschedule other appointments because I was stuck at home until 1:30 to let the tech in and show him around.I know other HVAC and duct cleaning companies offer an automatic discount if they show up outside of their 2 hr time window. Pyramid does not. I had to ask them twice and after that, all they offered was $25 off of a $5,400 contract. Disappointing. I will not be giving them anymore business.

Pyramid heating and cooling go above and beyond!2 years ago they installed our furnace and The service and quality was excellent, but the true test comes when something needs repair quickly.Our air conditioning unit was initially installed by another company. Turns out, it was installed improperly and was working at half capacity!We had an inspection for our home sale and a puddle was found below our main vent in the crawl space.We had no idea what was causing this.Despite how busy it is this time of year for AC issues, and the difficult diagnosis of the problem and locating the proper parts, Pyramid stepped up, and got the parts and squeezed us in on the only day available before our home closing!Victor and his partner Randy were outstanding! They were on time, professional, courteous and explained everything to us! They did their due diligence and I felt so confident in the result.I would use this company for all heating and cooling needs in the future!Plus I love working with the customer care team Deanna and Jennifer; both are great communicators!!!

The tech was pleasant but had no new filter with him, and within 5 minutes of arriving he told me that I needed one. What sort of company services heating systems and doesn’t carry filters? This is the company that installed the system and arrangements were made well in advance. Anyway, I’m glad that this was the free service, if I had to pay for this maintenance I would have thrown the guy out!

Mike K. fixed my parents furnace that had suddenly gone out. The heat igniter was particularly tricky because it was behind other hardware. He was patient, smart, meticulous, professional, and kind. He was great at explaining all the steps he took, and kept a neat working area. He was a pleasure to work with. He restored heat to my parents home, and for that they are incredibly thankful. Mike Brent came as the Rinnai was leaking. We use this as a source of heat as well as water. He found the problem and contacted the company and when the part came replaced the heat exchanger and restored the functioning!
Not very good at responding promptly(my Residential boiler has been down since Friday and I called their 24/7 answering service and expected a call the next business day(Monday)in the morning, but didnt call until early afternoon and by that time I already had an appointment with (Robbens Heating)and Pyramid didnt even have a technician that could work on my Residential Hydronic Water Boiler a LAARS Mini-Therm ii JVS.I took a day off of work for this.

Liked the tech who came on site but having a 4 hour window just kills me! It always seems Im in the last 2 hours. Maybe have 2 hour windows so I dont wast my time. Also $180 for a 1/2 hrs work may make me try another vendor next time.
I became concerned about the venting from my dryer.I called Pyramid Heating and I use them every year for furnace maintenance. Jennifer in the office is amazing, professional, nice and actually funny!She sent Randy out who followed all Covid protocol and within 30 minutes cleaned out the vent, tested it and said I ll see you in 3 years! How awesome is that?
I depend on experts to help me in areas I know nothing about...as is the case in a boiler in my basement...However I feel taken advantage of by Pyramid...They performed a routine seasonal service and indicated we had a valve that needed to be replaced...this seems to be the case every time our furnace is serviced...however in this case, not only was I charged for the service call, I was quoted $425.00 additional labor and part to install the valve (15 minutes tops, I was there)...I found identical part on ebay from $49.99-$129. I feel molested...I called their attention to this disparity in pricing, the service man said, I dont set the prices!, but called his supervisor to get us a discount down to $334.00...final bill for 1.5 hr maintenance/service & part, $583.00.

During the recent wildfires and resulting heavy smoke, we consulted Pyramid Heating and Cooling for advice on how to mitigate the smoke in our home. They suggested an air purifier in addition to changing our furnace filters daily. They were able to come out the next day to install the air purifier and they delivered a supply of filters at the same time. We were pleased with their quick and professional service.

Keith was so great! He came to the house, diagnosed our problem, and discussed ordering a new part for our air conditioner. Very reasonable, honest, and helpful. They’ll be returning in the spring, and I hope Keith is the one who comes back! From start to finish, this business has been wonderful!

The technician (Randy) was wonderful, fixed a majorly annoying issue easily and even trained us on how to spot fix it in the future so it won’t get bad! Felt safe having him in my home during COVID as he took precautions and wore protective equipment. He even told me that if the problem occurs again to call them up ASAP and they will work with the manufacturer and get a replacement under warranty (although I think he fixed it, fingers crossed!) Excellent service!
I recently became a home owner, and today it was my first time doing business with Pyramid and Im really happy with the service they provided. The technician that came was extremely knowledgeable and didnt hesitate in explaining me details of the system that will definitely help me take better care of it. If this company can keep this level of service and adequate prices, theyve definitely gained a lifetime customer.
Excellent all the way around. My old gas furnace needed to be replaced. I also wanted to add air conditioning. I called three HVAC companies who were top rated. The first one gave me a quote for a Lenox gas furnace and air condition. The salesman at Pyramid gave me that option but also let me know that a Carrier Heat pump might be a better solution as it is much more eco-friendly as it doesnt use gas and it heats and cools. Awesome. His quote was actually $3,000 less than the gas furnace / AC combo. The 3rd company said I could do a heat pump, but I would still need a gas furnace for when it gets colder than 35 degrees. His quote was $7000 more.Naturally, I went with the more eco-friendly solution that was less money. No brainer.The day of the installation came. They said they would be at my house around 9 and it would take all day. They showed up at 8:45. Masks on the entire time. Knocked on the garage door anytime they needed to talk to me. Took their shoes off (without being asked) anytime they needed to come in the house. Excellent communication throughout the day. Nice clean work with everything they did. Finished right about 5pm. Explained everything to me.I was very impressed with the entire process.PS. Looking forward to this summer to have central air and not have the window a/cs anymore.
These guys are easy to work with. We have the 3-year maintenance plan and, even though it’s a lot of money up front, it really is worth it. We didn’t want to be caught with a big issue from not maintaining our systems so regular maintenance was smart, and the priority service from being a subscriber came in handy when the huge fires blew smoke in and our furnace needed a service. We got prioritized adequately and I could have asked for even sooner if we’d needed it.The service techs always put on booties and are efficient, professional, and polite. They’ll answer all my random questions, too, like “What’s this light do?” And “Why do I need to have the fan on override?”Finally, I was really impressed with the reception staff when they helped me find filters cheaper online than what they could offer if they brought them. Seemed so thoughtful of saving me money rather than trying to nickel and dime me. (FilterBuy is the place to go for filters, by the way.)
Ethan was supremely professional and competent in His evaluation of the heating problem and connection and set up of the new burner installed in the vintage 1915 furnace.
Today was our first maintenance visit. The office called ahead to let us know the technician was on their way. The person who arrived was very courteous, wore a mask, gloves, and even booties over his shoes. He discussed what steps we could take to take better care of our units, yet kept the conversation brief.

TL:DR - Incorrect/Misleading diagnosis. Suggested we buy a new furnace by red flagging our furnace. Our furnace is 100% normal.We had Pyramid come give us a diagnosis on our furnace after a carbon monoxide alarm went off 1 time. The service tech wore a mask and was pleasant to deal with. The tech determined the furnace was bad by highlighting the color of the flame being orange and not blue. This was the only test he performed which should have been a red flag but I didnt know any better.After getting a second opinion from a company who is a preferred supplier of the furnace manufacturer, they confirmed there is nothing wrong with our furnace/heat exchanger. This tech used a carbon monoxide tester in the air flow and used a mirror/scope to determine the health of the furnace/exchange. The flame also stayed blue and he showed me how some service techs trick people into thinking their furnace is bad by blowing into the flame causing it to be orange. Im so incredibly happy I got a second opinion as that cost me a service charge instead of a new furnace.I really hope this tactic was not used on purpose to try and get us to buy a new furnace of a competing model manufacturer. Pyramid quoted us for a new furnace and failed to mentioned just the heat exchanger could be replaced. I understand the part would be very expensive for Pyramid to replace as they are not a Trane dealer but they could have at least given me that option.I called 2 other companies and they both suggested that pyramids initial diagnosis didnt seem right and advised I get a second opinion. One even mentioned that Pyramid was a good company so perhaps I just got a bad tech.Judging by the other reviews, the company is great so maybe this was just a fluke. I guess the lesson is always get a second opinion.
This is regarding an issue we are facing with an electric furnace service done by Pyramid. To provide some background, Tech #1 (name withheld) serviced our HVAC system in June of 2020 - one electric furnace, two gas furnaces, and one air conditioning unit. We paid Pyramid $581 for this service. Tech #1 caused a loose wiring issue that caused the electric furnace to malfunction. The furnace was working with no issues before it was serviced. The electric furnace stopped heating the same day it was serviced. We got in touch with Pyramid and they dispatched another technician - Tech #2 (name withheld) to diagnose the furnace and fix the problem after two weeks. Tech #2 replaced a coil and we paid him $148.One of our gas furnaces is located in the attic. While servicing it, Tech #1 had walked over the attic insulation and caused a big crack in the ceiling drywall in one of the rooms on the second floor. It cost us $350 to get the ceiling drywall repaired and painted.Getting back to the electric furnace, it again stopped heating a few months later. I requested Tech #2 to come back and take a look in Nov of 2020. This time the furnace limit switch was diagnosed to have failed and we were billed a diagnostic fee of $109. The limit switch most likely failed due to a short circuit caused by Tech #1. The Tech neither tested the limit switch nor the coil while servicing the electric furnace. Tech #2 recommended that the limit switch needs to be replaced for reliable operation and quoted a price of $148 to replace it. It should be noted that a limit switch for an electric furnace sells for anywhere from $4 to $25, depending on the manufacturer. Yet, the price quoted by Pyramid was $148. The limit switch has not been fixed yet despite multiple calls and emails to Pyramid.As evident, servicing the HVAC system has cost us $1,336 (including costs for limit switch diagnostics and repair), primarily due to the electric furnace breakdown and the ceiling drywall repair. This is triple the price charged by competitors to service a similar HVAC system.We requested Pyramid to do the following to compensate us for the trouble caused by their technicians:1. Perform a complimentary replacement of the limit switch and waive the diagnostic fee.2. Refund the money for coil replacement for the electric furnace.3. Compensate us for the ceiling drywall repair.4. Ask Tech #2 to thoroughly check the electric furnace to ensure all circuits are in good working order after the limit switch is replaced.To date, Pyramid has not responded to multiple requests by phone and email.Bottomline: Please tread with caution when dealing with this company. Pyramid needs to be more professional in promptly addressing problems that their technicians cause when servicing HVAC systems.
Dion did a great job communicating what he was doing and what I should be doing to get the longest life at the least cost from our HVAC system. Pyramid is very fortunate to have Dion as well as Lakin Norton whom I have worked with for scheduling both our residence and commercial properties for maintenance, repairs and replacement of the full HVAC systems.

I wrote to ask if they would come to do an estimate to repair or replace my heater blower. They would not give me a straight answer regarding the estimate. Was it a free estimate? They wouldnt say. How much would they charge for the estimate? They wouldnt say.This is dishonesty from the start. They should give a straight answer to a straight question. As simple as that.
This review is to report on Tony who is the extraordinary service technician who came for my first experience with Pyramid Heating. There were a few issues and questions regarding what was needed to replace the UV light kit system as it is apparently not a common one. He was smart and focused with a quick investigation and was able to provide clarity and peace of mind for me quickly.Tony is unusually patient and kind which is what I needed that day. I am glad I called Pyramid and very very grateful that a guy like Tony showed up! I feel quite sure that I will be able to rely on Pyramid Heating and Cooling for service twice a year now for A/C and furnace.
Pyramid is honorable and are experts in their field. Our service persons were thorough, experienced and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions without hesitation. The customer service staff in the office are also experienced and provided follow-up when needed/requested. Pyramid was called in due to ac failure after continuous operation on warm days. System continued to “run” but air at the vents was warm. Pyramid did the original installation of the unit. Response ti e from phone call to service visit about 1-1/2 weeks.Technician checked Freon pressures and added 1-lb R412. Fee was $306.00. He did not perform any electrical tests.Will appeared to work ok when daytime temps remained up to the middle 80’s. However during recent warmer days of 90+ system continued its former behavior of shutting down cooling function while still “running”.Basically 300 bucks for no improvement. Will call them back to do the job they originally were supposed to have done, then use a different vendor in the future.

Dont we all dread it when you go turn on the furnace and it doesnt work... I immediately picture a visit to Jiffy Lube to have my oil change and the team member explains if my car does not have at least 3 services, they are not responsible for my disabled vehicle...We all know the story. I went down the Google reviews and found Pyramid Heating. Hopped on their website and realized my search now rolled into after hours. I went on the online chat and listed my information and brief description. Shortly after I had an email regarding an appointment for the very next morning. Wow -Great!! Currently the town is experiencing a Stay at Home request from the Governor and only a handful of businesses are open. I wasnt sure if anyone would be able to come out to begin with. The next day a really nice man named Keith arrived. He was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and figured out the problem really fast. He got it back up and running, provided some helpful tips and suggestions on what we could do to have the furnace running smoothly. I was so please to hear how reasonable their prices are. Finally my bill $170. Next day service? I didnt have to buy 3 services and sign a year long maintenance membership agreement! Keith was really an A+ knowledgeable guy who truly is an asset to Pyramid. I really appreciate this company even during our countries hard time. This really should be your first call when your searching for a Heating and Cooling company. Im thrilled to now have my new go-to business. Highly recommend!!
The initial issue was the AC unit was shorting out the fuse in the furnace. A thorough diagnostic revealed a part on the AC unit was creating the problem. Unfortunately, it took three visits with two different techs needed to ensure the system was running as intended and correctly wired, but they got it done. Very responsive and professional. I would hire them again.
Randy showed up at the appointed time and quickly started the annual maintenance of our heat pump. He was an expert on our equipment and soon it was back up and running again.
