Lived here for one year and loved every minute of it. Quiet, friendly, and easy to access. If I hadnt moved out of town I would have re-upped my lease. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable and clean place to live.

I have lived at Prinwood for just about a year now and for the most part have enjoyed my time here! Everyone around is very friendly and noise is never a problem. The apartments for sure need some appliance updates done as in, dishwasher, oven and sink. Parking is a problem if you get home after 6 as well. But other then just the few updates needed and parking, its a great place to live.

Ive been a loyal resident for 10+ years at this property and reside in a 2 Bedroom Townhome and just renewed my Lease for another year. The property is clean, beautifully kept, and best of all very quiet. You wont hear parties going on during the weekend, and the community is well behaved. Meagan the property manager does her best to work with you when there are issues and is very accommodating and the Maintenance staff are great and very responsive. Having a property that is Pet Friendly is a huge bonus, and they even provide several dog poop stations around the property as well as free doggy disposal bags.The Townhomes are roomy with 1 1/2 Bathrooms, Washer and Dryer and Central Air. Big walk in closet in the master bedroom and water softener is included. Each Townhome has its own patio. I have two garages and they even have garage door openers installed which makes parking a breeze and great for added storage.If youre looking for a great place for the family and pet that has a lot of nice amenities and a roomy living space, you cant go wrong with Prinwood. Its a well kept secret in the Portage area and close to Meijer and Walmart and other restaurants and shopping places.

Over priced & cold drafts literally coming out from behind thermostat control on wall that kept furnace running continuously, & remember what u r shown dont even come close to what u pay them to live in.

Ive lived here for 6 years, & my fiance has for 9. Beautiful townhomes, cozy & a good size. Manager & maintenance men are friendly. I love that they are pet friendly here. Very nice area also for families. Theres a pool in the next door complex to use during the warm months which is a plus. Only thing I wish theyd still offer was their yearly carpet cleaning.

I stayed here close to 2 Years. Prinwood Place is Amazing not only from its physical location. But the staff here from leasing office to maintenance staff make this place more amazing. Without the support staff, however good the place is, we will never get the comfort level. Especially this place is amazing for families with Kids. My 9Y and 6Y old had best memories. All that they know is Fun, Fun and full fun.

We will really miss being tenants there - it was a good place to call home for our first three years in Kalamazoo. It served as a great launching pad as we got settled in the area before moving into a house. Safe, secure, well-maintained, good community and neighbors...the list goes on. We ended up here because we had a large breed dog and needed a reasonable 2-BR place to rent in Portage. Maintenance requests are always handled quickly and professionally. Its easy to submit maintenance requests and pay rent through their online portal. If something goes wrong, they will fix it quickly. Thanks for all that Meagan, Dave, Ryan, and the rest of the team have done and continue to do to make it a great place.

Lived here for over a year and will definitely miss it! Its a quiet and safe place to live, but the best part is the attentiveness of management and the maintenance staff. Questions/concerns are addressed quickly and in a friendly manner and maintenance requests are taken care of promptly as well. Couldnt have asked for a better experience!

This place was a lifesaver (quite literally).We had to Prinwood move very last minute due to a problem with our previous rental and the property manager was VERY helpful and accommodating at getting us setup with a place very quickly.Staff and Landlord are attentive to the needs of the residents, and all of my maintenance requests were handled in a timely manner.As for the interior, the unit we had wasnt the most modern style, but it was clean, functional and comfortable. The only thing really missing was a disposal in our sink (not sure if this is unit specific or not).The proximity to the nature preserve and other parks made living here even better with a dog.

So after a year here I will say at first it was rocky due to the handy man being sloppy but that was fixed. All in all they have upped their game with the parking issue. This is a great place to rent if you want quiet and safe for a small family or a business person who just wants to have peace and quiet after work! The question of the day would I do it again knowing what I know now and I would say yes. With the location being optimal and the safe atmosphere I do it again. Anywhere else in portage and Kalamazoo you cant guarantee that your neighbors arent going to be college kids partying all the time and doing drugs but here thats not been an issue (theyd be to scared with a state trooper residing there). Also as long as your place is cleaned and not damaged they wont try to screw you over on the security deposit (coming from someone who got a full refund and I have a toddler). They are very understanding and try to fix any discrepancies as fast and professional as possible. The price of the apartment at first I thought was a bit irrational but having realized it was a quiet and safe place it didnt seem all that bad! Also Megan the front office manager is amazing so friendly and professional! I truly recommend this place!

Ive lived at Prinwood Place for about a year and a half. My experience has been really great! I have a one bedroom apartment here and it is just the right size. The layout is open and welcoming. Maintenance is very responsive and the office staff is always friendly. Being able to have my dog here is a huge bonus. The other residents seem nice and Ive never had a problem with noise ect.I would recommend this complex to any of my friends and co-workers.

Ive lived here for 1 1/2yrs with my kids and I love it! The area is perfect for them and the community is great. They are in a great school district, Its quiet, and I love my neighbors. I didnt have to look far to find this complex that provided everything that I was looking for when I moved here. I love the fact that it is maintenance free and I can have my medium sized dog too. The office staff (Megan) is wonderful! She makes you feel at home from the minute you walk in. The maintenance crew is also amazing! I have had zero issues with my unit since Ive moved in. I would recommend Primwood Place to anyone who is looking for a quiet, country-like setting that is still right down the road from everything you need.

My husband and I have been living here for about 9 months, and have loved the grounds and community! The biggest bonus for us was that they welcome dogs! Our 75 lb Labrador wasnt welcomed at many of the complexes in the area that we looked at, and Prinwood has been a lovely place for us and him!

I would save your money & rent somewhere else. The apartments look all nice, but they are cheaply made. My closet & cabinet doors are CONSTANTLY falling off. Maintenance comes but they are extremely condescending, saying things such as, if you were a homeowner, youd know (blank). My roof in my second bedroom has leaked twice now, and they say theres nothing they can do to prevent it. The parking is outrageous for what you pay. Theres never anywhere to park, especially if God forbid you come home after 7pm. They are awful at plowing in the winter. Its just a pain to live here, honestly. Like I said, save your money and dont be fooled by the nice looks.

Prinwood Place is a very lovely, peaceful community in which to reside. It is wonderful to have washers and dryers in the unit, the maintenance staff is responsive to inside issues, and the on-site staff members are very personable. However, Prinwood Place has a severe problem with parking, especially during the winter months. Parking is limited anyway throughout the year, but when it snows significantly, no one seems to be able to snow blow/plow the parking spaces. I thought when I moved to an apartment after selling a house that I wouldnt have to shovel anymore. Most residents are now having to shovel out their parking space. And, if you try to get a parking space after about 10:00 pm in the winter, it is nearly impossible. We pay a lot of money to live here; if this problem doesnt get fixed, I would bet that Aspen Management Company will be scrambling to think of a fix. Apartments are great. Maintinence is great. Been here since August. Only down side is when you call, no one ever picks up the phone. No problem if managment has to leave the office for a bit but calls should definitly be forwarded to a cellphone because managment is frequently out of the office. It just seems like everytime I go or call the office it is closed and no one answers.

Management is amazing. They are so nice and go out of her way to help.

Apartments are nice and well kept, staff and neighborhood is friendly. Huge invasion of privacy with bed bug inspections every three months. Got accused of harboring extra residents just cause I had a friend sleep over on my couch. Bitches.

I lived here for 6 years. Cleanest, nicest and quietest apartments around with awesome staff and wonderful grounds!

OMG! One of their maintenance people forced his way into a tenants apartment and tried to take advantage if her! The guy still works there! Didnt get fired even after tenant pulled a PPO on the guy. Dont live here!

Noise between units is nonexistent. Grounds are well kept, maintenance man friendly. Close to many everyday things that are needed but still country feeling.

I HATE LIVING HERE!! Maitnance does not do anything to help you, our windows leak and theres ice on the inside of our windows. They NEVER plow and when they do you are plowed in and get stuck. Our mail takes forever to come, and there no parking ever. They only supply each apartment/ townhome with 2 parking passes. So no matter how many people signed your lease you will only receive 2 parking passes (regardless of how many cars you have) and only one mail box key. If you dont have a parking pass you have to park in guest parking which is very limited. People who have parking passes even park there and management does nothing about it! They put a huge orange sticker on your car when you are not parked correctly that does not come off. They have no respect for people who live there they are just there to collect their rent!
