I love Salon Aura. I have been searching for a salon that listens to what I want and cares about the integrity of my hair. Marianna is amazing. My hair color and style has never looked so good. Marianna nursed my hair back to health after my bad experience at another salon. It is finally growing to a longer length without breakage. I have recommended my family and friends and they all love it too! The staff is all very nice, happy and welcoming. It is a very clean and professional salon! I highly recommend Salon Aura!

I took my teenaged son and daughter for haircuts with Olivia. Both of my kids are very particular about what they want and provided reference pictures that were probably not the simplest styles to recreate. Olivia was able to provide them each with amazing cuts while also being very reassuring and including their opinions and input in the process. The salon itself is clean, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere. All staff were friendly, nice, and professional. Getting back to back appointments was easy. Pricing is very reasonable and appropriate to what you’re getting. I highly recommend Salon Aura, and particularly Olivia!

I give this salon 2 stars because the service was good and everyone who works there is friendly, but the woman who did my hair did a horrible job with the color. I wanted a semi permanent hair glaze to go golden/neutral brown and first walked out with reddish brownish hair, went back to get it fixed and walked back out with black hair with burgundy plum and red tints. Such a nightmare! This is a really ugly color on me and it isnt remotely close to the hair colors in the pictures I showed her. Trying to wash it out as much as I can because Im itching for this color to completely fade. Thank god its semi permanent.

I got an Amazing haircut by the owner my hair has never looked so good or felt so healthy…I hadn’t gotten my haircut since February and I never blow dry it or so much….he knew exactly what kind of cut I needed for a low maintenance upkeep …he also evaluated my hair before cutting it to see my curls and wave which I appreciated …will definitely be going back to this salon

Got a color and Keratin done by Albert (the owner). I was scared and nervous to have him do it at first but I went from having tangled puffy hair to now being able to run my hand thru my hair. He practically started from scratch on my hair. Will be coming back. I also felt safe with all of their Covid protocols.

They were all masked and I didnt feel any concern about covid and getting my hair cut. Other clients (two) were more than six feet from where I was getting my hair cut. Very nice salon with super talented hair stylists/colorists and an all around pleasant staff. My first experience here was on a Friday in January when last minute weekend plans came up. For several reasons I hadnt been to a salon for cut or color since August andit showed. I wasnt going to say yes to plans without getting my hair done first so I crossed my fingers and started looking for a same day appointment at a reputable local salon 1pm on a Friday. I made a list of all the local hair salons that had excellent reviews or were recommended to me. I tried 3 places before Hairsay with no luck. I briefly explained my desperate same day urgent situation.One place offered me an appointment the next day, one place offered me the following Tuesday and one salon had an answering machine on. Yikes .I should have tried Hairsay first because not only did the sweetheart who answered my call listen to me..she even fit me in for a same day appointment .But wait..theres more.She also managed to give me an appointment with the colorist my coworker highly recommended ( Nailani ). I was beyond happy with my color and cut and the price was very reasonable. Hairsay is my new salon and my kids new salon as well.

I would highly recommend this hair salon to anyone. My daughter and her wedding party all had their wedding makeup done by the airbrush makeup artist at Hairsay hair salon in Port Washington. They looked beautiful. I knew they would because I have been using there services and have been very pleased.

She had to do quite a few processes to get the right results She gave me a great much need cut and style that I love as well. The salon is very clean and spacious. When they say hair coloring and styling is an art form, Hairsay is a clear example. One of their most creative and talented i have to say is Neiloni Garrett. Master of her trade, she has never disappointed. Her recommendations on style and color has been spot on... From highlights to hair painting, to needing a complete change over, she has exceeded my every expectation. I travel over 1.5hr to see her at the salon and it’s worth the commute- justified when you receive the countless compliments after a day there with her. The staff at the salon is super friendly, professional and attentive to each and everyone of their clients - a clear reflection of the owner, Albert, in finding and investing the best in their craft. Bravo!

I was going to Natalia for a number of years and she left, which I was sad about, but she recommended I use Joanne and she is just great. I see Val he is a very well experienced colorist. I have had some pretty bad experiences including my last colorist who turned my blonde hair green! He is consistent and I am always happy With the results! You can tell him I said so!!

I have thick and heavy hair, and have always struggled to find someone who could handle my hair and not make me look like a frizz ball. After being recommended by my aunt Ive been going to Hairsay for years. Everyone there is extremely polite and helpful. Sondra is my go to stylist. She handles my mane like a champ!

Hairsay salon is a lovely salon which by the way is open on Sunday. From the receptionist,who’s terrific to the hairstylists, I used Stephanie,everyone is friendly and helpful. Don’t think twice about having your makeup done for a special occasion. Katelyn has a great eye for color and truly does what you ask for.

Really professional and amazing place. They get my hair right everytime. The one person I ask for when making appointments is Neiloni. She always does my hair and it comes out amazing she is my go to person with trims, hairstyles and color. All the women bounce off each other and make a very nice and happy environment.

I went to Hairsay in Port Washington last week for Japanese Straightening. I really like the way my hair looks as a result. I also had the makeup artist do airbrush makeup on me as a finishing touch. I have been going to Val for several years already at his other salon in Garden City Park, so I was happy when he opened another location in Port where I live. I finally decided to cut my hair super-short, and Val gave me the perfect color and style, feedback from friends, family, and hubby has been incredible! I had been coming to Hairsay in Port Washington for a long time for a haircut, hair coloring and Keratin treatment. The hairstylist suggested I bring my young daughter along for a kids haircut. She loved coming here with me. Now the two of us come together every time. I want to thank my stylist for the suggestion. I would recommend this hair salon for anyone of any age.

I first came to Hairsay Salon for a blowout a couple of months ago. I liked the place so much I have not gone anywhere else for a womens haircut, makeup, or highlights. This is the best place on Long Island for any salon treatment in my opinion.

I needed to find the right place for hair straightening on Long Island. I heard about Hairsay Salon from a friend at work who said she had kinky and frizzy hair too but you would never know. I went the see the stylist who recommended I get Keratin treatment. I could not believe the results. My hair is straight and full and shiny. I receive nothing but compliments on it. I am taking my daughter here for her bridal makeup next week.

The best place to get a womens haircut for the best price in Port Washington is Hairsay. I go to this hair salon for body waves and highlights once per month. My husband also comes for a mens haircut at times. We both really like the place and will keep on coming back.

Whats not to love!!! Albert has been cutting my hair for at least 7 years. From the very first time I knew I had never, over the past decades, gotten an absolutely great cut before. Albert is focused and meticulous. But then he, my miracle cutter/stylist vanished from the Sorell Salon in Roslyn that I frequented every two weeks. Of course, no one knew there where he went, and no one could recall his last name--dah! I finally tracked him down and waited until he opened this amazing salon. It gets better, I was introduced to his business partner Val who does my color. Just like my experience with Albert day one, I realized my hair never had gotten the attention to detail that overall gives me an age appropriate look but is absolutely age defying....An important note is that all the products they say they use, they in fact do. There is no secret mixing in a closet room. Total transparency. Their wifes are on premise and are absolutely wonderful ladies.Thank you Albert & Laura, and Val & Oxana for the job you do and for your warm and welcoming hospitality.
