I have had a few pool companies in my day. One went out of business, one the best technician resigned.I tried Barb’s and wish I hadn’t. They started off fairly good however went down hill from there. Was to have my pool vacuumed every other week. Not done in the last 5 weeks. Filter cleaning? Don’t know if that was done. Chemicals, either too high on the chlorine or not there. Sent a few emails and had one reply. No change. So when the bill arrived I only paid half as that is all the work they did. Just half. I heard back from them and they blamed me for the poor service their technician performed.If you are thinking of Barb’s for pool service, please consider another company. They do not perform to the level they want payment for.PM to Lowell, this is just the first of many poor reviews. Don’t try to blame me for 1) the truth and 2) poor service by your employee.

Started out as great service. Went thru several different workers. Last one never really cleaned the pool. Last straw was when we had green mold in the pool (we get chemicals weekly). My husband fired the service person on the spot. Never got a call from the office to question what happened or ask what the problem was. When I called, I got one word responses and no apology or even basic concern about the situation.Our new pool service people said our filters hadn’t been cleaned for quite a long time and there was zero chlorine in the pool.

Barb maintained our pool for the previous owner, and has done so for us for the last 6 years. She and her staff are professional and courteous, keep our pool sparkling clean with a minimum of chemical odor and go above and beyond, helping us find the right repair person when we need one and even giving me a jump start when my car battery was dead! Highly recommend

This pool service is a joke in these reviews are more than likely wrote by friends of the family that owns it .So far in the past year they have broken our pool twice the 1st time they broke The pump because they never cleaned or changed the filter. The 2nd time it broke is because the lady that comes out to do the pool is so lazy that she does not put the tablets in the right spot she just dropped them in the basket of the pool it has corroded the ring in the part that holds the tablets. This was the same lady that I have caught on occasions washing her dirty feet off in our pool Along with washing off her shoes in our pool When I brought this up to the owner they acted very standoffish about it and I told them that this lady should be fired and they told me that that was a very complicated situation because she is related to one of the owners .So if youre going to use barbs pool service use it at your own risk they will break your equipment Deny any wrong doing raise your prices in contaminate your water with dirty feet
