This post office is amazing. Super helpful staff, efficient service and excellent advice. This is the gem of our nation and anybody who says otherwise does not understand that this is the only service that still operates as a public good. Go USPS!!

This Post Office is the worst in service in all my years -30 yrs - dealing with USPS. Specifically the individuals who are working at the counter and are considered those individuals who represent the USPS. There condescending, assuming and the demeanor is NOT one of friendly or helpful. Who is in charge of ensuring these things do not go unchecked!? I served 4 years in the Navy and this is a disgrace! I will never return to this USPS (1950 NE 6th St Pompano Beach, FL) and I hope a lot of people start following this decision. People who work in this position should have some humility and respect as opposed to an attitude of entitlement and can talk to customers the way they feel like.

Sid has been the best mailman, Ive ever had. For the 11 years we have lived in Cypress Harbor, he has is amazing, on time, friendly, knows all his customers. Every time I meet a new person they say how great Sid is. Sadly he retires tomorrow. He is what all mail persons should strive to be. He will be missed very much.

Not really helpful here. Poor customer service even if your nice to them the current morning workers in today were highly rude. Use to live in the area tried to get my mail that was still getting sent to my old address for some reason even though i changed it once I moved out the area. Asked to check if my mail was sent back to this location she barely checked and said it wasnt here that it must have been sent back to Miami. But how would you know that if you didnt even check? But whatever just left.

Out of hundreds of usps across the country that I have picked up packages from. This is the first one to ever reject me for having the package sent to my short name instead of the full first name on my ID. Absolutely ridiculous, for security reasons they won’t allow me to pick it up but ironically they sent it back at my request- some security.

Very bad service, with 4 counters only 2 are working very slow. Also the mail delivery became slow in many times. All priority mail failed to be delivered in time and always a few days behind. What their management does to fix this? Seems like nobody cares because this is government facility. May be they need to get training from Amazon?? Also usps application to track the mail works very slow and sometimes doesnt work at all.

I just can’t understand why i haven’t received my package 📦 I got a notice saying package was sent back due to in correct address. I went to the post office to track package last week Wednesday spent my entire lunch break there to leave with no package. One of the workers got my information and told me she would call me when she hear from carrier. No call I returned back to post office Saturday they found package 📦 but it couldn’t retrieve it because it was in my daughter’s name which I understand the clerk told me she will have it delivered back on Monday today is Tuesday nothing. This is very frustrating because I put the correct address and o still haven’t gotten my package. This don’t make sense I never have good experience here I hope things change soon at this location. Y’all have to do better

I have used them a few times. They do have a few self service kiosks which is very helpful but are almost always out of most of the packaging unless you are there during the hours customer service is available. So bring your own boxes if possible. The kiosk works better overall than the other closest location with self service on Oakland. That one has one machine that is down a lot.I know one of my packages did get delivered but still waiting to confirm a few others to say for sure how their actual performance is.Finally, be ready for the panhandlers both in and out of the building.

My second horrible experience with USPS. This time they lost an envelope with important documents inside. You ask who sends important documents via regular USPS postal service? Ill tell you who, government does! According to the tracking number that envelope was delivered on 3/30 day at 5:10 pm but where????!!! Well guess what, I called USPS and unfortunately we cannot track the package. You cant track a package you have a tracking number for? I thought that was a whole idea of paying for a tracking service so you could tell us clients where exactly a package was left. I feel like USPS is the past. If I have choice, I never use USPS. I hope they will run out of business soon because they are unable to compete with DHL, FedEx etc.

DO NOT PUT MAIL CONTAINING CHECKS INTO THE MAIL DROP!!! I put a check for a parking ticket in the mail drop behind this post office on a Monday night at 7pm. On Tuesday morning, the check was altered, made out to an individual for $2000 and presented at my bank for cashing. BE WARNED! Drive to Lighthouse Point of Fort Lauderdale...anywhere but here.

Why doesnt someone higher up do something about this office? I have witnessed and experienced every single one of the negative comments below. If these people are unhappy in their job...why dont they leave? There are plenty more people who might love to work there and need a job. I have been waiting for my mail to be forwarded after a move since 12/4. It is not being delivered to the old place or my new place. And I cannot get them on the phone. It just cuts off after a few rings. Not a good time of year for things like this to be happening also. At least I do not have to deal with them anymore pretty soon. Its a disgrace.

I have a on my home delivery mail starting 12/19/18, today 12/18 I got the slip I usually get with my delivered mail when the hold is stopped. My mail is supposed to be held until 1/9/19. I think they will continue to delivery my mail since they do not have this slip in the sorting box at the post office. I called the only phone # available and told it would be 43 to 63 minutes on hold to get to a customer service rep. If I could give them a zero I would. I guess I need to go to the Post Office in the morning to correct they screw up once again.

I ship 20-40 packages per day with this post office. I have never been inside it. The carriers that come to my business are always pleasant, and Vicky, our regular carrier is terrific.Normally, the pickup is done by 1:00. 2:00 at the latest. Yesterday (5/2) there was substitute carrier who forgot my pickup. I was fuming. It was 3:35PM and Im trying to figure out how to get one of my employees there before 5 to drop off the packages. I called this branch. No I didnt get through right away, but I did within 10 minutes. I spoke to Frank. Calmly, I told him my situation. He said hed handle it for me and get my pickup that day. I thanked him and hung up. Figured Id give it until 4:30 and then send someone down there to drop off the packages.At 4:20, a driver arrived (looking pretty sheepish) and picked up my packages.It wasnt easy, but Frank did NOT let me down. They lost a star for the issue happening in the first place, but if they allowed half stars, Id give them 4.5 for their overall service over the past 4 years.By the way, for anyone looking at all the 1* reviews on this office, go ahead and look at the reviews for other branches and youll see the same types of comments. Sometimes you catch someone on a bad day. Sometimes they catch you on a bad day. Also, remember, as someone else stated, generally, people only post about a business when theyve had a bad experience. Most people dont walk out of a store and say to themselves that was a pleasant experience. Im going to go home and write a review about them.

Worst ever. If you see a positive review here. Then its a relative or friend. These people wont get out of truck on a signature only package. Even if your home they throw an orange slip in your mailbox and then LIE and say they knocked. I was sitting in wheelchair inside the house. No knock. Lazy!

Normal Post office. Good location, convenient to local shopping areas. Not usually a long wait at the front desk for s postal employee, but there is a usual risk around opening and closing times as with most post offices. Standard services: package and letter shipping, same day and next day service. P.O. boxes for rent on site and the usual stamps and shipping supplies for sale including boxes, envelopes, tape, etc.

Was literally shoved out of the store and had the door shut and locked in my face in mid conversation because it was 3 minutes after closing time. What a vile and nasty lady. And hen i was asking information about what happened to it they just come up with exudes. when i came to pick up one of my packaged they gave me other ladies package with totally different address and name on it. I was away for a week,came back to an empty mail box, the person delivering the mail said she took all my mail back to the post office and she will bring it back the next day(even though i already requested for my mail to be redelivered online but i guess no one cares about that option) the next day she brings the new mail but none of my old one.i go to the post office to pick it up they told me that i dont have any mail over there and the person delivering it already took it. Actually it is the worst PO in the world...and possibly on the planet! I have actually complained to Washington DC about this PO and I have met with the Postmaster there accompanied by a federal representative...No improvement whatsoever!I must say our regular delivery person is wonderful! BUT as soon as we have a sub, were dead! Packages just languish is that PO for weeks without getting to the carrier for delivery. The customer pays for 2 day shipping and the pkg arrives a week later! I am waiting today for an alleged 2 day delivery ordered 4 (F O U R ) days ago! It took it 3 days just to get from one city in NY to another city in NY and it probably will take 5 more days to make it to FL!This is disgusting and annoying and I know we are all sick of it.

Our new carrier sucks!!! Just Tue of this week we finally received our mail at 7:04 PM and we run a business and receive checks in the mail. It really has messes up our lives. She also sets next door, turns truck off and talks on the phone for long periods of time. This has to be the worst post office in Florida, if its not then I pray for the people that need to use the other. Today is Dec.18, 2015 and not only did no one in my apartment building receive mail, but no one in the entire complex did! At our building, the mail, could just be considered community property as often as its put in the wrong mailbox even at the wrong building. When I ask the postal worker delivering the mail about the day before, not receiving mail, the answer is always the same, I didnt work yesterday. I call BS on the post office that delivers to my area. I understand that stuff does happen, but not as frequently as theyd have us believe.

Apparently the clerk who was supposed to close out my PO Box forgot to close it out completely and the system tried to charge me for another 3 months. Listen, I have lived in several Ft. Lauderdale neighborhoods and by “grace” I’ve been blessed to always live near great post offices. THIS IS THE WORST POST OFFICE SOUTH OF WEST PALM BEACH!!! They should be ashamed of themselves. The MANAGERS ARE WORSE THAN THE EMPLOYEES. Our mail for 33060, May come, May not!!! Last Christmas my Grandson packages were stolen, on Wednesday before Thanksgiving we didn’t have a Courier, simply no one came. I usually do not rate bad services, I prefer to be humble about it and move on. But after the moment of panick these people had put me through, I sure had to write a review. I had a package coming from Miami which had a very important personal document in it. On saturday, I checked the tracking, it said delivered at mailbox. I go to my mailbox ... oh oh package is nowhere to be found and I am the only one with the key. Website even had a delivery time. Fast forward to Monday, I call their 800 number, unable to get a hold of anyone. After I had googled to see if that’s a common thing, I have read few people had that happened where website says delivered and nothing is found. Many people said the next day, they usually get theirs. Well, not my case. Came home Monday, package not in mailbox and I found other letters.Tuesday, I leave work on my lunch to go meet supervisor which by the way, did his best to help. But his associate lied all the way stating he put the package in my mailbox. I had started crying because I have to leave the country soon and I need my document. Supervior Jay or Jerry, not sure what his name was, called another carrier to go check around and that carrier actually found my package in their truck. Package was NEVER delivered. But the dishonest associate scanned it as delivered and even lied to his boss that he delivered it.Finally the other carrier put my package in my mailbox. Thank You Lord I found my package, I don’t know what I would have done.Next time I’ll make sure I use FedEx or UPS when it comes to important document, at least they respect customers and try to be more honest.Kudos to that supervisor who went above and beyond to have my package found. It is because of him that I am rating this place a 2 star. It should have been a 0/5.

This branch has poor service and deliveries. They dont answer phone too often when you call. The delivery of mail is late, lost and often behind! The employees are rude and have bad customer service skills. If this is the branch handling your mail my advice is to mail things way ahead of the time and hope your mail gets sorted in a timely manner for you to receive it. They obviously need to re-evaluate some of the employees inside the building and out! Whoever is sorting the mail is slacking too!

The man at the pick up counter was not helpful in the least bit, he refused to look at any conformation number I had. And just told me to get out after I tried and tried to explain my situation, I know my package is at this location because a supervisor at customer service told me it was. I am extremely pissed off. We always have different people delivering our mail, none of them ever do their job correctly. Its pretty sad that my bank statement was put in someone elses mailbox. I am just glad that they put it on top the mailbox instead of throwing it away or opening it.. You would think this job was simple enough...They never seem to look at the apartment numbers and every week theres issues. Also when i moved here, went around 1:55 to this location on a Saturday (they close @2). The door was already locked and the guy behind the counter ignored me and wouldnt give me a change of address form. Horrible customer service!!

I keep getting my letters written on that say box blocked. The neighbor next door has there box on the house. I used to have a white male mail carrier now I have black female mail now that can walk up to the house next doors mail box but cant walk around a car six feet to put my mail in the box. I never once had my mail written on when he was delivering my mail.What happen to the days that they all walked to put mail in your mail box. How about doing your job and stop complaining that you have to get out of your vehicle. The mail carriers get paid good money to do there job so do it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Do not give these people your drivers license. They took my girlfriends when she was picking up a package and she left without realizing she didnt get her license back. When she returned they were rude and told her they didnt have it and there was nothing they could do (they didnt even try to look or help). I think one of the workers stole it. Well be reporting it to the police and watching all of her accounts in case of identity theft.

If zero stars was an option thats exactly what theyd get. This is the WORST post office ever. My company regularly spends a large amount of money on mailouts. There is always an issue with them. Had 2 packages stolen in the last 2 months. Small envelopes that fit in the box, delivered according to usps. But is a lie. Went to pick up one time, no smiles, rude attitude, ugly faces. They clearly hate their job and working for a federal agency gives them an authority delirium. They said they could shut down whole block to do an Investigation-More lies. Carrier stated she Is government, she can do what ever she wants, that she cant get fired. Who hires these people? The manager should be fired along with the mail carrier and her boss for lieing. Stop with the racist card people and just deliver mail to the right addresses. I have been trying to get thru to talk to someone about my forwarded mail issue and the phone just rings and rings. The 1-800 # on the website told me the wait time was 50 minutes and after 1 hour and 3 minutes the hold music just stopped. The phone was silent for another 6 minutes then disconnected. Theres a woman that works here who was completely RUDE and unhelpful when I first came in. I had never sent a certain type of package before and she talked to me like I was stupid and rolled her eyes like a teenager. The 2nd time I came in a month later, she changed and all of sudden had a high pitched voice and was actually giving customer service.......thats when I realized it was because her MANAGER was working that day with her. Some of the people here do not care about their job or helping people. I wish whoever hired them thinking they would be good to the customers could see the TRUE side of their employees when they are not around. This woman in particular is latino with colored contacts and blonde highlights. If she wants to treat people like that she can work in a prison. WRONG JOB SWEETIE.

Possibly the worst PO on the face of the planet, if thats possible. First, off, their listed phone number is the USPS national line, with wait times typically running 30 mins plus. If you can manage to find the actual branch phone number, it buzzes busy, then disconnects, which Im assuming means theyve turned it off. Wow.So in specific, they managed to lose 5, yes 5 packages I dropped in their lobby box at once. The tracking numbers all showed the label being created, then nothing. One package was mailed to the next town up (Boca) and after 2 days I went in the branch to inquire. I spoke to LEE, who is rude, brusque and arrogant. He told me three different answers to what was suppose to have happened, and when I asked for him to look in back, he sighed heavily, went in back and of course, reported no packages back there. So even tho all my packages were shipped Priority, I was informed by the folks at USPS national, I could not start an inquiry until my stuff was MIA for 5 days. ??? So day 5, instead of waiting on the phone for 40 mins with the 800 number, I went back to the branch, and ended up with LEE again. Call me crazy, but how could 5, YES, 5 packages headed to 5 locations all go coincidentally simultaneous missing the exact same way? By my logic, they never made it out of this branch. Well, after LEE called me a liar - I have no proof you put these packages in the box - and I asked well then why have a box in the lobby?LEE then proceeded to yell at ME, when THEY had lost my packages, representing 30 hours of work and hundreds of $$s income, not to mention screwing 5, YES 5, of my valued customers!! Then LEE contradicted himself another 2 times on the process, (we never scan packages in here, we just ship them to the main facility which what?!?! is total BS!), refused to recheck the back room, and walked away from me, leaving his clerk to deal with me, who at this point was a fairly irate customer. What a peach!Ill be reporting him to consumer affairs for the PO (he brought it up, surprisingly!) but be warned when mailing valuable goods thru this branch!!

I have lived in this neighborhood for years now and Ive never once had a good experience with this post office. My packages are never delivered and I always get the orange slip. Im on the second floor of my building. I guess its too much trouble to climb one set of stairs and knock or leave a package. Its frustrating because any other carrier I never have issues with, only USPS. The office itself is staffed by the most cantankerous bunch of people Ive ever seen. They are all miserable and act like you are wasting there time for even walking into the branch, much less talking to them. Newsflash to the staff. We wouldnt be there if the mail was delivered properly in the first place. I dont like being there any more than you do.tl;dr Dont use USPS, go UPS or FEDEX instead.

Long waits in line. Drop packages off they disappear. If you need customer service outside of regular mailing, you get a look like you have 3 heads.There are maybe two postal clerks working that location that really care about the job. The rest really just dont want to be bothered.

Horrible with delivering packages!! Mail, is ok, but packages, they dont care. They leave stuff at the wrong addresses and if youre lucky, the person that receives it, will get it to you. Otherwise, the USPS acts like they can care less if you get it. I have been on hold now for 12 min waiting to talk to someone at the post office on NE 6th st Pompano Beach. No one answered yet!

Sometime i get my flyers like im supposed to sometimes i dont unless u call and complain the mail carrier see mail on top of box they leave it sit there for days i have a letter on my mail box since monday night still there wednesday alot of time we get mail in our boxes for other building. I have had mail returned to my job for me say to me undeliverable or return to sender i feel the carriers need to be retrained and put cameras in the trucks to monitor what is going on plus the postmaster for this place is located at another office im sure they dont no what is even going on. There are a select few employees that are wonderful i speak to them they know who they r my route is on the 60 route

Always miysplacing my package never answered the phone. And its annoying. Someone needs to fire everybody there and get new employees because this is not the first time this has happened. This has happen to me over 10 times. You guys are disgrace.

Awful......our neighbors all re-deliver mail to the correct address because our letter carrier is incompetent, doesnt care, or isnt capable of matching an address to the appropriate house. I have delivered meds that arent mine, but were left at my house. Also have had neighbors 2 blocks away bring our meds to our house. This is inexcusable. Our last carrier had a blue tooth device hanging on her ear and talked continuously....she was loud and could be heard a block away (no, Im not joking)....our mail was never right. When she wasnt talking on the phone, she texted while driving the mail truck...was nasty and rude on top of it. Now, we have a nice carrier, but he cant get it right either. I just wonder if anyone reads these comments, because nothing changes. I never mail a package thru the US mail...everything goes to UPS. The USPS in our area is no better run than the VA ! They should be investigated, too

The absolute worst post office in the US, bar none. Less than half of the packages and incoming mail sent to me in the five months I have lived here has actually been delivered. Such a hot mess, Im thinking of moving. Would give it 0 stars if it were possible.
