Starting with the good things about the company:- The person giving us the in-person quote was polite and professional.- Movers were extremely polite and professional.Besides the above points, the only selling point is the low price for inter-state moves (moved from FL to MO).We had very few items, moving from a 1 bedroom, and had sold our dining tables and chairs, plus our sofa, plus the coffee table. Still, two of the items arrived broken, the ones I was told not to pack myself since the company would take care of them itself. Anything I packed with zero moving experience arrived intact.After filing the claim, I received an email about two weeks later and was told that Ive been assigned a claim specialist. I contacted her via email and phone to ask if I can get rid of the items. There was no response. The email mentioned the process takes 30-60 business days, so I reached out to North American Van Lines customer service directly and asked if I could put the items away and was told not until the specialist tells me so.So if youre moving with a company and you get about 20% of your big items broken, and are told to keep them in your apartment for 3 months before a decision by a very unresponsive business is made (and from what I see, I can tell compensation isnt going to be satisfactory either), well, I dont think thats a very good service.

From top to bottom, all personnel are friendly, reliable, courteous, and professional. The move from South Florida to North Carolina went flawlessly. The company did exactly what it said it would do. When the manager (Ben Leor) comes to your home when the crew is loading the van to see that all is well is great customer service. Many thanks to Ben and his employees.

Booking with Beltmann was such an easy process, I went through Ben Leor who was very receptive and helpful, making the whole process painless. Mike came to our office to assess the amount of furniture, equipment and boxes for our move and he provided us with a very fair estimate. The day of the move, his team showed up early and started working right away. They even helped us packed some of the fragile material. It turned out that we miscalculated how much stuff we had, and not everything was going to fit in the truck. The crew did not make a fuss, they simply got in touch with Mike, and they ended up having to make two trips to take everything we had. His crew worked tirelessly and they were very careful not to damage any of the computers, scanners or screens. Overall, we were all very satisfied with the Beltmann Moving and Storage team.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. The moment we signed our contract, all customer service went out the window. When we scheduled our delivery, they tried to change the price on us despite their “price lock guarantee”. Any phone calls to our service representative were sent to voicemail and not returned. The only way we were able to speak to someone was to request to be put on hold until they were available. We were given a 9 day delivery window, which was not met. They lost a family heirloom, at least one box of our belongings, and broke several others, including our Television, Kitchenaid Mixer and dented and scratched our bookshelves. We are still trying to receive compensation from them for all the damage. I do not have high hopes at this point, but refuse to let it go, as they have made this entire process miserable for my wife and I. Please learn from our misfortune and hire a different company.

The actual cost was well below the estimate. Nice to get money back. Ben was suburb in handling the job. The movers were friendly and efficient and delivery was on time.

Everything went really smooth! It was our first time using the company for an out of state move and everyone involved made it very stress-free. The staff was professional, friendly, and reliable. The coordinator, Jennifer, explained things very thoroughly, and also called us with updates prior to the arrival date. Our driver, Izaak Castillo, was phenomenal! He worked really fast and, as promised, he delivered all of our furniture the day he said he would. He and the rest of the movers even helped with assembling the furniture. More importantly, the staff took their time in wrapping valuable items and nothing arrived damaged. In a nutshell, I highly recommend this company! I know Ill be using their services for our next move.

Sat for an hour for two pallets. Theres no help, and no communication. People kept walking by, and saying Victor is coming to help you. Victor came by 3 times, looked, and walked off. I seriously thought about unloading them myself because a forklift was right there. Werner also does final mile out of this location as well as CRST.Luckily Sheldon came by and helped me as he was walking by. Thank you for that.North American has always been bottom of the barrel in the moving industry.

Moved from Florida to North Carolina, 5th floor apartment to a 6th floor apartment. The first guy who came to our house for the assessment was very nice... however, wasnt too responsive after the visit. Once a move coordinator Jennifer reached out and told her of my concerns, I was assigned Melissa and she was fantastic. Not only was she very responsive, but got me a better rate. The move went very well, the driver was fantastic, Marcell. The wrap-squad of three ladies did a great job packaging, and the off-loading team with the driver was outstanding. There was minor damage to a picture frame. I had full insurance, opened a case, and was fulfilled without any issue. It wasnt a big money item but it helps. Also just today, reason why I am writing the review, I see a credit to my account for the overpayment, due to weight estimate or whatever... hey, cool with me! A slow start with Beltmann but overall a successful move. Oh, I also got quotes from Beakins and United at the same time, and Beltmann NA was the lowest price.

Helped us move 60 offices out and into a new space and could not be happier with the efficiency, professionalism, and quality of the job! Their communicative, helpful and fast! Everything came over in tact and move was completed successfully.

Half of our items were left in the warehouse and not delivered on time. There was a lack of communication in the process of attempting to get the rest of our belongings to us. Many items were damaged and we are still missing parts and cords for furniture and TVs. Both delivery drivers agreed that our belongings were not properly taken care of when picked up and taken to the warehouse. We have previously used a Coleman Allied and hd an amazing experience. We would definitely not suggest using Beltmann.

The courteous, professional team from New Dawn Moving And Storage called to let us know they were running a bit late from their morning appointments, which we had anticipated. They also called upon arrival and worked quickly and efficiently, wrapping all furniture in padding and shrink wrap. Even though heavy rain had started when it was time to load the truck, nothing got wet. The move went very smoothly, and Ive already recommended them.

The drivers were great. Pick-up was fast, and the driver (Bryce) who dropped off was efficient and awesome.I was not happy about the time frames. I was originally promised one time frame, then told to expect a 2 1/2 week time frame, then narrowed down to final week of August. Will I use this again if I move across country... Yes.

This organization has got it together. The Estimated quote for charges was spot on. The men showed up on time and loaded everything with care. My goods were crated because of delivery area. The delivery was earlier than forecast by almost a week. The delivery guys were as good as the pickup, cleaned up all packing goods, swept up and were courteous. There was no you owe us an additional amount for delivery scam either.Professional, caring all the way around. Cant recommend them highly enough!

Recently moved from Florida to Tennessee. We chose the Beltmann Group for our move and were extremely happy we did! The move from Florida was flawless. The workers were on time, cautious, and courteous! The driver was a professional in every way. When our belongings were delivered the experience was the same...no complaints! Also, the quoted cost never changed which is a plus!! I would highly recommend the Beltmann Group to anyone preparing to move. I actually contacted our sales person and told him how satisfied we were and would use them again in the future!

Our first time moving with professionals, and these guys were great. No issues from the company even though we had to reschedule several times. They picked us up the day before Thanksgiving, and did a great job loading all our stuff. Delivery was flawless, the two men who brought everything were both friendly and very professional. If we ever move again we will definitely use Beltmann.

This has been a terrible experience. Melissa Knight has not fulfilled her promise of customer service. I dont understand why they make no effort to fix my service issues. sleeping on the floor for the second night. No one responding to fix my bed and give me a place to sleep.

Worse place to load

The whole experience was wonderful. The representative that worked up the quote was very experienced and professional. His estimate was spot on. No surprises upon delivery. The packers were fast, friendly, and most of all careful with all our possessions. The guys that loaded and unloaded the truck were also friendly and careful. I would definitely use these guys again.

I had a large sleeper sofa that needed to go to the basement. The movers complained about it all day and said they didn’t think it would fit. They brought it in the house and then proceeded to say it’s impossible. They said the doorframe had to come off and they couldn’t help with that. So...I called someone to remove the doorframe and to carry the sofa downstairs. SURPRISE- all it required was to take the door off. Easily down the stairs and put in its place. This cost me $400!!!!!!! I already paid you to move me. And you failed. Not to mention EVERY box marked FRAGILE was damaged. AND I paid for additional insurance BUT was told too bad. The insurance is only good if YOU pack it. I had really hoped the nightmare stories about movies wouldn’t apply to me. Another surprise -same story.

Everything went according to plan. Pick up and drop off. Only issue was with the drop off I was owed a check because they estimated my weight was more then it actually was and it took several calls and emails until I got my check but I did get it. Nothing broke no damage and I was very nervous. I even had to change my drop off location which as only 2 miles from the origional but nonetheless they didnt charge me any extra. Highly recommend.

Salesman was great, offer was very competitive, timing was OK, but I choose another carrier because I could not get written assurances on some valuable items that were to be shipped.

Movers were pleasant but.... when moving out of our home one of them had mud on his shoes which transferred to my carpet. He tried to deny that he did it, but when pushed, he told another mover who then told me they would take care of it when the move was done. At the end of the day, the supervisor told me they had no way to clean it and asked my husband to try to clean it later. Very unprofessional. Also, getting in touch with my office contact was a little tricky. When I finally figured out she did not respond to phone calls, only emails then everything worked alright. I should have been told to email from the beginning and not to use her phone line.

We had used the Beltmann Group for 2 prior moves in other locations, before choosing the Beltmann Group for our move out of Florida and I would never use them again.They were very attentive when they were trying to win our business, but once our move was prepaid all customer service came to a screeching halt. I had to call and leave numerous messages before getting an answer for even the simplest of questions.Aside from the poor customer service the packing was also a disaster. Most boxes were not marked, and the ones that were contained items from many rooms instead of just the room marked on the box. This was our 11th whole house move, and we have never had such a bad experience with having our goods packed.The only good thing I can say about our move is that its over.

They made the move from Cleveland, Ohio to Plantation, Fl super easy! Very efficient, extremely professional and always available to answer any question.I would recommend for ANY move local or long distance!

We were disappointed by damage done to a dining room table, and it was not reported. Instead, someone did a quick and dirty fix that lasted only until the movers had finished offloading. The company did pay the agreed rate in insurance, but never acknowledged the cheap fix.

Had a great experience relocated with Beltmann from Parkland, FL to Raleigh, NC. They arrived promptly, took great care of our stuff, and showed up earlier than expected at our new home in Raleigh.

We called North American Van lines & got Beltmann. Rep (older gentleman, super nice) seemed great, I trusted him & after committing to them, it was AWFUL! He promised Id deal with him the entire time- No! I was passed on & they kept dropping the ball, NON-STOP! I had to call to remind them of moving date over & over again & they tried to delay move NIGHT BEFORE! We purchased heavy duty plastic bins ($300 worth!) to protect clothing, valuables, etc. since we knew our stuff would be in storage for 2 weeks. The movers stacked up things so poorly that most bins cracked, broken items, antique dining room set was DUCT TAPED W/ random items- stripped dining room table, missing piece from dining room table base! They also flat out LOST PIECES of furniture- so I have table top, but no base. Our 2nd movers we hired were speechless- they said it was poorly done, they made us get 2nd storage unit we didnt even need. They were in shock of broken items, they were PISSED & it wasnt even their own belongings! I immediately contacted the sales rep and he quickly push me off to somebody else, which then passed me on to another department, which then sent me to about 50 pages of paperwork that I need to fill out and submit photos for each item with receipts of my purchases = made it IMPOSSIBLE to file a claim. We hired a small local company before that was bad & cheap--not good, BUT Beltmann Group BY FAR was the worse company!!! I read bad reviews day before we moved & had gut feeling maybe I just needed to call other companies we got quotes from, I even called rep & expressed concern & the rep insisted dont judge reviews- everyone gets bad reviews, he reassured me theyd care for our stuff.. I felt trapped & proceeded w/ plans w/ them... HUGE, huge, HUGE mistake! Dont do it! Months later Im still sick to my stomach how bad they screwed us, ruined our stuff & important family items are missing or severely damaged. Good luck w/ your move & trust your gut: TRUST THE REVIEWS- theyre awful!!! Dont use BELTMANN!!

I have used this moving company for 25 years . I have a great amount of respect for its establishment and for the people who work for them . No one is perfect, however they will stand up for their work and adjust any imperfections.

If I could give a 0 or negative star rating, I would. I hired Beltmann to relocate me from Florida to the Midwest. Melissa came and gave me a quote. The quote she gave me was very competitive compared to other movers. She gave me her business card and told me to contact her at any time during the process if I ran into trouble. The moving men came and loaded my household a couple of weeks later. They were very professional and did a good job. They were dressed well and each shook my hand and introduced themselves when they first entered my apartment. My only complaint about the moving men was that they dropped a couple of tubs as they hauled stuff out. They wrapped all my furniture in blankets and shrink-wrapped it before they hauled it out. I was given a seven-day window of guaranteed delivery. I didnt hear from the company during that week, so I called Beltmann with two days remaining in the window. I was told the system was down and they would get back to me that afternoon. I then was told they needed to do some checking and would contact me the next day. The next day, I was asked to call them. I called and was told my household hadnt been assigned a driver & was still in storage. My new delivery date was set for a week later. Delivery was delayed two weeks beyond that. Before my shipment left, I received notification that my household weight was 22% lighter than it was originally estimated...the weight that my bill was based off of. The new adjusted bill was only lowered by 9%. It turns out the estimate states if your weight is over-estimated, you will only reimbursed around $35 per 100 lbs. they were off. READ THE FINE PRINT OF WHAT YOU SIGN! This smacks of a racket to my estimation. BEWARE!! They can do this to everyone and then make it seem like you are being given a discount when in reality, you are paying for more than you have in your household. I contacted the company about the overcharge and asked for an explanation. I was told by Shari that she would have to speak to her GM and she would get back to me. I also asked if she could tell me where my belongings were. My delivery was weeks late and no one could tell me where my stuff was. I NEVER heard from the company again. Remember Melissa gave me her business card to contact her at any time? I copied her on each e-mail and never received a response. The last date I received communication from the company was on July 10 when Shari said she was going to check with her GM on my billing and where my stuff was. I never received an answer. I e-mailed repeatedly but was completely ignored. It has been one month and six days since I last heard from them. I wasnt given any guidance on who to contact or what to do. I had to do my own research online and found out that North American Van Lines was controlled by the SIRVA company. I contacted them and received GREAT assistance from Donna. She helped me locate my shipment. It was delayed another time after the shipment left Florida, but I finally received my goods 23 days past my guaranteed window. That is just the middle of the nightmare. NONE of my belongings were wrapped in the blankets and shrink-wrap that was put on them in Florida. Most of my furniture had scuffing and scratches. My tubs were damaged severely. Approximately three dozen of my items were damaged or destroyed. My dresser mirror had the attachments snapped off so it couldnt be attached to the dresser. The dresser has a new particle board back on it with no explanation as to how the dresser was damaged. The mover didnt help put the furniture together. He claimed it was for liability reasons. I suspect he knew the damaged goods couldnt be placed together and he didnt want to have to explain it. They damaged my entrance closet knocking it off track and cracking the trim as they hauled my belongings in. I am in the middle of trying to figure out the insurance claim. That is another confusing situation not tied to Beltmann. Sorry for the long explanation, but trust me...FIND ANOTHER MOVER!!! Learn from my mistake.
