Everything seems harder to find and more expensive than other big box hardware stores. Price things out at other places if you have options. Its nice enough. Parking is great. People are kind here. They have an indoor lumber yard, but a lot of the pressure treated lumber is often waterlogged and heavy, which sort of defeats the purpose of having it indoors.
I love this Lowes! Every person I came into contact with was extremely helpful and friendly. They went the extra mile to ensure that I had everything I needed before I left. I needed help in every dept. and Rusty, Brian, Chris, and Jeramiah all exceeded my customer service expectations. I cannot thank them all enough. This store is the best!
I was not overly impressed with the shopping process for carpet. I went in and had a very clear idea of what carpet I wanted after being shown a few options. There was mixed communication after that, including never being informed that this selection was backordered until after Id selected it. We also had to redo the drawings numerous times since only part of my room was being covered and the sales staff kept sketching it incorrectly. After the drawings were done, it was surprisingly hard to use my gift cards (I had never purchased from Lowes before) and was only making the purchase because of the gift cards. It didnt feel as lively or as engaged as my usual work with Home Depot and I will probably stick with HD unless another big price delta presents itself. The carpet itself was fine for the price. The contractor Lowes recommend to install did a great job once they got on site. I felt comfortable leaving to run errands while they worked and they worked alongside my trim guy.
I paid $2,200 for a washer and dryer my dryer was wired wrong. The Ground and neutral wire was mounted together. This is why the dryer didnt work. The service I received was trouble.I will never spend money at lowes from here on out.
As far as employees helping customers, this LOCATION was better than any Home Depot Ive ever been. Maybe its because I happened to run into employees. I found what I needed. The selection of Channel Lock brand tools is better than Home Depot. However, the DeWalt bit case I was trying to replace isnt available anywhere I looked so I was forced to buy another style. Maybe when its time to buy a new snow blower, Ill consider Lowes.
I wasted an entire day waiting for a delivery and installation that never happened. Zero communication, zero response. Now, I have to clear another day in my schedule to accommodate the professionals (and I use that term loosely) at Lowes. My confidence level that the work will be done satisfactorily is zero. When I finally spoke with a customer service rep, he said my account would be credited for $25. Ive already wasted an 8-hour day because of incompetence and now have to block-out another 8-hour day--a total of 16 hours. The $25 compensation amounts to a little more than $1.50 per hour. Perhaps Lowes feels thats an equitable rate. I do not.
Literally the WORST experience with replacing a deck. Placed an order in store for lumber- there was trouble with the system on the day we went in so went in the next day- not a big deal. Associate, Diego, talked us into opening a business account for the large order- sure. Another Australian man ended up getting involved and helping and they filled out the application for us. Scheduled the delivery, paid the bill that we received in the mail- figured everything is fine. WRONG. Day of the delivery comes. No delivery. Call the store, they say to call this 3rd party company. Call the 3rd party company (wait on hold for 30 minutes) and are told that there is no history of our order and we have to call the store. Call the store again and get told to call the 3rd party company back. Nope. Ask for someone else to help. Australian man gets on the phone- he remembers us. He puts us on hold and finds out our delivery went to another address- apparently they accidentally put the wrong city in the application even though our zip code and everything else is right. Should mention that we received no calls about our delivery, even though our phone number is correct in their system- no call that delivery was on the way, no call that delivery went to the wrong address. We let him know that we have permits, days off, a dumpster and a crew coming this weekend and need the lumber. He says he cannot guarantee our order will be delivered because it went to the wrong address (even though that address refused the order). I’m also not sure how the delivery when to another address because the address they have on file does not exist- so they chose a random house and dropped lumber in poor John C.’s front yard. Asked for a manager. Got put on hold and bounced around for about 20 more minutes- it’s now been 2 hours that we’ve been dealing with this and it’s 5pm. Finally get ahold of someone who says that the manager is on a conference call and will call when she’s done because no one else can assist us. Literally a NIGHTMARE of a store. And still no call back or lumber. Now calling corporate since I have no doubt that the manager will not be calling back. Will update if I hear back though.
Very helpful and knowledgeable employees here. Found what I was looking for.
Decent place. Easy to get around. Light colors make the space appear larger. They have a garden center and plenty of parking. Not the easiest parking lot to get into and out of (far too many strange angles to enter).A LOT of traffic in the area, so stay sharp when driving in the area.
The 5 stars is for one person. This lady was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to help me. The man Bob that was supposed to help wasnt really trying to help in fact he went home . What a waste of time. The superstar of the evening was the cashier at the return desk . She didnt stop until she found the answer. I will no longer shop for a pressure washer without her .! Thanks young lady for making my day .
Updating because I completely changed my mind. I spent about $2k here on new flooring for one room, and installation and everything about it since I paid has gone down hill. I cant talk to anyone who can help me. Ive been calling for a week to talk to someone in Flooring and never get through to anyone. I just went in and no one was there who could help me. The delivery I scheduled for materials they couldnt actually do on the day I scheduled, and then they were late on the day they actually came. And I STILL dont have all of my materials. A complete nightmare that apparently no one can do anything about. Its always a good decision to go to this Lowes. Most of the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Weve gotten everything from keys made to new flooring and appliances here. The pricing is always in line with what were expecting and the quality is solid.
I love the staff, and I love the store. The electrical and plumbing sections need a little attention: some stuff in wrong bins, etc.
Jeremiah is very knowledgeable, especially about electronics, and he is courteous too. If you need electrical parts or supplies,, ask for Jeremiah!
Great service today. We needed shelves for closet storage. Hollis even saved us time and cut them to our specifications in store. Thank you!!!
I am shopping for appliances and Khan is helping me, he is a very knowledgeable and friendly young man. You have a winner there. Also the gals at the registers (I believe head of cashiers and check out lady) were so helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my experience with your Plymouth Mn store.
This rating in no way reflects the quality of staff. I interacted with around 10 total employees over 3 trips and they were all great! This rating is strictly for the result of my trips and what a comparison to similar experiences Ive had with Home Depot. I needed two color match paint samples for touch-up areas around the house (patched holes) and had a few gift cards for Lowes so my destination was set. Friday after work I stopped in and received what I assumed would be identical matches to 2 colors already on my wall. The first was 99% accurate. The second was a blue/gray mix that was a shade too light. Went back to Lowes on Saturday for a second try. This shade was too dark- more of a miss than the first. Another trip on Sunday- the first mix of two was again too light (we tested at the store) so the gentleman did a slightly darker mix and it still looked a smidge light but I took it home and tried it anyway. Too light. Even in a mostly dark room the shade difference is quite noticeable. The touched up sections expand in size with every coat. Truly a frustrating experience. This is my first ever color matching and even asked on the first visit if the match would be identical and the answer was yes, without hesitation. Now Im stuck debating whether to paint entire walls or make a 4th round trip to Home Depot instead to see what they can do. Im officially anti-Lowes moving forward.
So happy to find a reasonably priced replacement for our cement birdbath bowl $16. And they had the Miracle Gro Raised Bed soil in stock. Well done Lowes!
Ended up placing an online order here because the lumber selection was better than at Home Depot. But when we arrived at the store to pick up the order, it was a wild goose chase to locate it. Customer Service sent us to the Pro Desk, and the Pro Desk told us to go back to Customer Service. We ended up wandering around looking for a different staff member to help us until we found the carts with our order, but the bags of Quick-crete were wet, and one even busted open. Needless to say, the online order pickup process needs improvement.
Went to this Lowes twice for a total of 20 50lb bags of asphalt patch. Both times we had excellent service and help loading the bags into the truck. Would highly recommend this store for their excellent service.
Its Lowes! They have some great stuff that Menards, or Home Depot might not carry. However, on the downside, in my opinion, they are a little pricier than the previously named stores!
Only knock was when I took my grandson to the bathroom. filthy. no paper towels in the machines, dirty floors
This location has a major issue with stocking the products they offer in drawers in the nuts/bolts isle 16. This has been going on for years, but you can barely find someone to help you. Understaffed and poor inventory management make this location untrustworthy for project needs.
Found most of what I needed. Asked for assistance and was directed to a general area. Never found that item. Friendly & helpful gentleman at checkout. Really like option of email receipt.
Lowe’s is great. I wish they had one closer to the city, but the drive is worth the savings. The clearance sections are a great place to search through and find some gems.Everyone is very helpful, and you can actually find people to ask questions (looking at you orange apron store).
Horrible to check out All self checkout with an elderly gentleman trying his best but at his own pace with 8 people waiting in line
Terrible customer service. Had a water heater fail that I bought at this store. They passed me on to the manufacture who authorized a replacement. I was then passed on to a third party to handle the install. Two days later, no one from the install company has contacted me, I called them, they said they have no authorization or info from Loews. I shared what I had and then tried contacting Loews again, I get the run around from Loews whose answer is, were sorry, we dont contact the installer, we have a third party who does that. So somewhere between a faulty hot water heater, a store that doesnt know anything and a installer who has no info from the store - Im into my third day without a hot water. Loews wont stand behind their products and they pass the communication breakdown off to a third party. Bottom line I didnt pay a third party, I paid Loews and they failed and Im still without a hot water heater and no end in sight. Followed up with the store again this afternoon - no one has any idea who I am supposed to talk with or who can help. As they ask for is my name and number (which theyve had for three days now) so someone can call me back. No one calls back. Was just told by customer services that if no one calls me back, thats not her problem. Finally tracked down a store manager who has attempted to help. Loews final solution to this? I was preapproved for a Lowes card so I could put it on there and save 5%. I will never set foot into a Lowes store ever. Finally a conclusion - the store manager, Amy, took the situation over and got things done. She told me, I will get this done today and she did. Lowes is very fortunate to have someone like Amy!
Need help, ask any employee, they are so kind and helpful. I just need to look at signs telling me whats where and what aisle. Lol
If you order curbside, you will have to wait forever and call multiple times to get them to come out with your order. Calling was frustrating as most of the time no one answered and whens they did they put you on hold but then never came back. We have done multiple curbside orders and this was our experience every time.
Great place to pick up hardware to fix most things in my house. They are close to my home.
If you know exactly what is needed and you know the store has it in stock - ok. Otherwise go to another big box (HD) they will have knowledgeable people available to answer questions and material in stock.
Great made boat covers. He knows how to make one. High quality.
Pretty good Lowes experience overall. Plymouth location was the only one in the area carrying the Husqvarna chainsaw I was interested in getting. Floor layout was pretty different from the other Lowes Ive been in, but all of the Aisle/Bin locations for the items I looked up online were accurate and easy to find!
Not friendly if you have a rv, some old grandpa called us bums, your pretentious customers are pathetic.
For the first time shopping in store it was great. Great customer service.
Good plants and blue berry bushes. Got me and my son quickly and shoe was very nice.
Great experiences at Lowe’s over the last week (have been there multiple times). Chris in the flooring department is an asset to the team. He is nice, educated and willing to share his knowledge, and generally helpful even with non flooring related questions. Also spoke with a person at the Lowe’s pros desk who helped me gather items I needed to re sheetrock a wall and he was very courteous and helpful. There were lots of employees around to ask questions and help load up my vehicle.
Very understaffed, don’t expect fast service or help. There are good people that work here, just not enough. I see this as a management issue. Appreciate the military discount, though.
Very disappointing store service. Ive watched this store decline in their customer service department in a big way in the last 3 years and today really sealed that. I attempted to purchase an LG vacuum, asked multiple employees how to get the vacuum (nobody wanted to get a ladder to get it down) watched as an elderly employee then volunteered (I felt terrible!) and once I brought it home and opened it, It was USED. Hair and dust still in the canister, attachments used and plastic peeled off. Empty bags in the box (were there parts missing? maybe?) The $500 vacuum was a return that was clearly not even looked over. Upon returning to the store for an exchange, I was told, We are too busy, this is what happens when people dont show for shifts and you can just go and buy another. I dont have time to get you another one. Needless to say, I did NOT purchase the vacuum again.
I really do enjoy all the agriculture related things that they have here at the store! Good variety and a really good prices!
Had 2 projects from Plymouth lowes. One was blinds other screen door. Took 3 orders of windows blinds to get correct and screen door the screen had too much glue on it so it did not open properly. Horrible experience. I am reaching out to corporate to try and resove but will never ever step in that door again
Proud to say the assistant there was very helpful at locating the tools that I need. Only reason why I rated 4 stars because cashier made me feel a little awkward. So overall I prefer LOWES over HOME DEPOT.
Always have what we need for our home!
This Lowes location is better than the one in Maple Grove. At this location you can actually find an employee when help is needed.
Was told my order was ready that I placed online. Showed up and was told it was not and they had just got it and it would be 30 min, I shopped around as I needed a few things for 30 minutes, came back and I was told it would be another 30 min unless I want to help the guy pull the order thats pulling the order as we speak . I went to help supposed guy and he was not there. I came back to front desk and told them he is not there they told me it would be another hour . I left and got a call that it was ready, went to the store. And guess what. Order is not ready.
Clean store, employees are always helpful with finding what you need.
Found everything I need. Great customer service, good prices
At first I got lost there and nobody that I asked know where the product is but one of the guys took me and went with me to every place that he thought about that the product maybe in that place I called this great service Im sorry I dont remember the name of the worker
Its a good place, just wish they had a bigger shower curtain and accessories.
Always have what I need.
Ill start by saying Im generally not one to run and complain, especially since I used to work in retail myself, but I have to say this store was hands down the worst experience start to finish. Id highly suggest going to a different store. I know there is a Home Depot down the road that would probable be a better option. My experience included them making me buy a tape measure to measure if a washer/dryer stacked unit would fit in my truck. Yes, you heard that right! They will make you buy a tape measure just to return it 2 minutes later! I asked if I parked up front and had an employee come with me and even hold the tape measure they whole time and they still said no! The combo set I was looking for was a returned unit at a good price, so I didnt want to lose the deal. So I offered to buy it now but said I would have to come back and pick it up with my truck, because it was way to big for my car and they said no, They said they werent allowed to sell items that a customer couldnt take Directly after sale. I thought that was kind of odd because whats the difference between in store pick up and me paying for it now and coming back with a truck? I then offered to purchase it, then since the combo was stacked, I would juat take the top half right away and come back for lower half, and he refused. Meanwhile this whole time he kept trying to talk me out of purchasing it, telling me that I wouldnt want it, and that there was a reason why it was so cheap. He would make these comments saying I would be disappointed in it and so on and so forth. I was kind of confused why he was trying to talk me out of it well since the store was closing at this time I decided to just go home and come back in the morning when they open with my truck. The next morning I called when I was on my way right when they opened since I lived over an hour away and I just wanted to make sure I wasnt driving for nothing and they told me that it had sold. I couldnt figure out how it could have sold when they werent even open,, but then I realized the gentleman who was helping me bought it after hours and thats why he had been trying to talk me out of it the whole time. I wasnt going to say anything, but after a week Im still pretty upset about it and feel the need to share my experience in hopes to save others from having the same. I tried to reach out to the store multiple times, but I know it is a busy time of the year, so I cant completely fault them for not calling me back any of those times. The worst part is there is even more to the story I have left out. Unless something changes, steer clear of this store and find somewhere else to go!
Insufficient staffing: on a recent weekend visit, the store was busy, but nobody was ensuring customers entering were masked. The checkout lines had no place to physically distance while waiting. In the crowded self checkout area we witnessed a confrontation after an older woman tried to offer masks to an anti-masker young couple. No staff were around to intervene.
Typical big box store. Usually have what Im looking for.
Not a big fan of store layouts...more for diyers...
Quiet and if u use the website u can find anything u need. We didnt need assistance but they still offered to help. Everyone was nice to me.
Great experience. The 2 gentlemen in lumber were very helpful!
Drove an hour to buy a stove. Waited 20 minutes (pushing help button multiple times) for help and no one showed up. Moving on to a different store.
Had the joys of waiting around for an appliance delivery, just to have a no show driver.Order has been cancelled and I am moving on. Dont waste your time with this store!
The little staff that were available were very helpful and accommodating
I prefer lowes over home depot. Much friendlier and professional.
Bob who works in the paint department deserves a little encouragement. I came into the store a few weeks ago and needed to get some paint. He was already heading out for the day but stayed to help me get the right color. He kept me entertained while I waited with his corny jokes and went above and beyond to help me get the exact paint color I needed. Thank you Bob.
A small selection of plywood. They could use more variety, grades, hardwoods etc. No Baltic birch plywood
Good place for getting more of what you need to renovate a house.
Nice staff, but hard to find at times
Pouer is a fantastic employee that deserves recognition. We visited the store twice today and our order got messed up, with no explanation. Pouer was the only employee that stepped up and helped us work everything out, while being kind and helping us feel better about the situation. We are very grateful to him. Everything else was a mess.
Why does anyone shop here? After numerous poor to terrible experiences at this store over they years, I am unable to answer this question. Today a trip to this store that should have taken 3 minutes took over 30+. My wife was rudely treated by the very few employees that were even pretending to do any work while many other employees were aimlessly wandering around as if lost. As she said when she returned this afternoon, never again will we do any business with Lowes when it can be avoided. Thank goodness we have a Home Depot in this town.
Hard to find a cart. Found two and they were both broken. Only self checkout lanes were open on Saturday afternoon.
Terrible customer service both locally and calling their national 800 number. Lowe’s, try hiring some more people to answer your phones. There are plenty of people out of work. Also tell your appliance department to answer their phones instead of just disconnecting the the call. You just might have a customer on the line that is if you aren’t so big that you don’t care!
Very helpful at customer service!
I guess they dont help you load anything up if youre making a large purchase of heavy materials...customer service is non existent 😔Asked for assistance multiple times and no one could help us oh well go to Home Depot instead if youre reading this
I think I would skip the curb side pick up. Ordered in stock items took more then a day to be ready. Went to pick it up used the app, seems slick, no one ever comes out so I call, another half hour some one comes out to another car that showed up 15 minutes after me. The person that brought it out was very nice but still took 45 minutes.
The online order was entered by 3:30 and I got a email after the store closed 10pm.The email said 2 of the 3 items ordered were cancelled. So they charged my card for one out of 3 of the same items. That means I have to drive elsewhere to get the others. Home Depot had all 3 of the same items and more on hand. I ordered them at 5pm and got a email that said they were ready to pickup in one hour. Customer service is better there. Lowes had my phone number so why cant they call me to see if I wanted to wait for the other 2 items? Guess I will try Home Depot first next time. Disappointed in their lack of service the pickup experience was less than great too.
Stephen in flooring was great!
Youd think a home improvement retailer would have the knowledge and capabilities of tighting a toilet seat and upkeep of a restroom. Im done shopping at this location.
Looked up a Cat neck light and Plymouth location showed 2. Ask person filling shelfs to help find them went on his device that showed 3 and aslie where they were at. Not there, second person asked and they put in a bit more effort but couldnt find. I drove out of my way to purchase 2 of these. Not happy. Item 2708316
The customer service in this Lowes is lacking. I’ve picked up paint from them 3 separate times and every time the paint department ignores you and let’s you sit there and wait at least 10 minutes before being helped.
Great store... very well organized,But...There were no sales people, especially where we were in the window shades dept. We waited 20 minutes and repeatedly pushed the call button. Our requests (and another couples) were announced several times. We finally left. The other couple stayed.
We came in on sat May 23rd to look at dishwashers. We had spent an hour researching online for a brand with the key features. Jack was incredibly helpful in educating us on the different brand for the budget we had. We are thrilled with our purchase and wanted you to know it was because of your sales team we made the purchase at Lowe’s! Thank you Jack!
Tried to do curbside pickup, but nobody answered the phone. After trying for 5 minutes, finally went inside and stood in line. Employees moved at the speed of molasses and didnt seem to care at the huge line of guests waiting for service.
It was fine. Nothing special. Did have to wait in line a while with only 1 cashier working and 2 standing around not doing anything.
Good products but terrible service. Line of 8 people waiting for simple pick up and returns and one staff person that didn’t seem to want to help. Also hung up on me for curbside pickup.
I like the tool brands to choose from.
Dried and dying plants, NOT FOR SALE!!! $4.95 and $3.95 for one single plant!! Ridiculous!!!
The service is pretty good but the quality of items seems to be lacking compared to Home Depot
Lows went above and beyond to help me with my washer and dryer problem.
Fully stocked shelves,Craftsman tools, helpful staff, prices averahe, average, similar to Home Depot
Friendly staff, organized store, quality merchandise at competitive prices .
Especially when the lumber desk helps you start your car. Great bunch of guys!
Very good. Clean store
You have to jump through hoops to sign up online and prove youre military for you to get a discount. Home Depot is show ID and you got yourself a discount.
I did an order pickup with this location. I did NOT pick up my order yet, and they fulfilled my order and charged me. I called them (and spoke to them after being transferred around to several people) and they said they would reverse the $600 charge. They reversed $13.00. When I called them again they said they would take care of it. Its been a week and I am (yet again) trying to call them. They keep transferring the phone call back to the main line instead of answering. Impossible to work with..
Product was displayed side by side with two different prices.Had to walk associate back to display and point out to him the model numbers where the same.Said they would correct the problem. Then had to stand in line again.
We went to buy appliances. What a mess! The refrigerators were in no logical order. Not by brand, not by style nor by price. And they were all over the place. The other appliances were in the same disarray. No one asked if they could help us and no one was around to ask. The rest of the store was the same. Empty shelves and disorderly displays. The main isle used to have nice displays but now they were just stacks of boxes. The store manager needs to take a close look at her/his store and put things away in an orderly logical manner.
Staff wont help you. I was in trying to find a product where the site listed there was 5 in stock. I had to ask 3 different staff members for help. The first one refused to do anything, said he didnt know, and walked away. The second person told me to check a certain aisle and there was nothing even remotely close to the product I was looking for. Went to customer service and they couldnt find where it was either. But told me they had 5 in stock but couldnt find them anywhere then they walked away too. Wont be coming back to this Lowes.
It was pretty awesome! The community there was really nice. Everyone was wearing masks to not spread covid! Lowes is a very great store.
Nice, clean, and organized store. Clean bathroom, too.😉
The customer service representative Nicole was non helpful i was looking for a plant she said there was 11 in stock but didnt help me search as I stood in line another customer was asking for salt she just pointed the direction of where the salt was. HORRIBLE service she mumbled wanting a donut the cashier Drew was doing his best to helpful.
