My partner and I went as a walk in this morning, first time visit. The wait time was approximately 25-35 minutes, although I am sure this could vary. I was super impressed with the fade Isobel was able to incorporate into her conscientious cutting style, as was he, (and he’s typically hard to please). Kind, friendly and professional. Thanks guys!

Made an appointment online. Arrived at designated time and Dak, the assigned barber, greeted me. The haircut was done professionally and my wife agreed! Reasonably priced, shop is ultra clean.

I ran inside today to check out their beautiful monstera plant, and the woman working (isabelle is her name i believe) was so sweet and we had a great conversation about the plants, and she even gave me some clippings when i left :)

Grew out my hair over the course of two years until it was a hopeless mess. Walked out with the best looking haircut Ive ever received in my life. My barber (Steven Diaz) even gave me a discount on some hair gel to keep it looking fresh! The haircut was quick and the barbers couldnt have been friendlier. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who wants to look their best!

Very upseting to see how things are being run at this business. I was told to wait in my car until I was called, so I waited for 25 minutes after my appointment time and never received a phone call from them. When they cancelled my appointment, they said I never answered the phone, of which I did not even get. Maybe that is technology issues, so I wont be too critical of that, but it is infuriating none the less. I have been here a few times before and have always loved it, so I will give them 2 stars because their service is generally excellent. Maybe once the pandemic is over and I can wait in the waiting area, I will go back to them, so I am not skipped over again. For now, I will look elsewhere.

Ill preface this by saying that Im not one to write reviews, good or bad unless the experience is horrible or truly exceptional, but I think this experience warrants sharing.I just had a horrible experience at this shop after 5 years of patronage. Over the years there have been a couple of times when certain barbers havent listened to my specific hair cut requests. Usually its not a big deal because nothing drastic has come of it though it has had me question why I would wait an hour or so in the queue to get a haircut. This is a very common occurrence at this shop. People take time off of work to get their hair cut here.This winter Ive been growing my hair out so that it would cover my ears which took about 3 months. This is tough for me because I travel for business most of the year meeting with federal IT customers around the country and I need to maintain a professional appearance. The holiday season is the only time that Im not traveling and not in front of customers so its the only time of year that I can let myself go.The first thing I say to the barber after hello is, I want to leave the hair over my ears. Ive been letting it grow for a while. Im just looking to clean it up. Do you think you can do this? This wasnt being disrespectful. It was a serious question because I didnt know if the hair was long enough or if it needed to grow some more first. Barbers know these things.The first thing the guy does after I ask him how his New Years was is lop off the hair over my ear saying that he can clean up the back after he cuts the hair over my ears. Of course I corrected him at that moment but the damage had been done. Too late! Oops! In his defense, he did tell me that there was no charge when I went to pay for the haircut.After getting home my wife and I realized that I would need to get the cut fixed because it was uneven. Not only was the hair cut above the ear but the correction will most likely require a number 2 clipper. This has been a very frustrating and time consuming experience.Oh well. I guess there is always next year but it wont be at Turnage Barber Shop. The shop has a loyal following but at this point, and with the average experience that Ive had over the last few years, its time to give the competition a chance to earn my business.

Always a great quality job. By far my favorite place to gat a haircut! Reasonable price.First come first serve basis. This means that there may be a slight wait but well worth it !I wish they were open longer on Saturdays though.

Ive gone maybe four times at this pt. Theyre fairly good (in terms of skill, Id say) but dont expect them to help you figure out what you want. Be ready. Today I asked for a trim and the barber charged me for a haircut :-/ so thats not cool. Hopefully next time will be better.

Coming from NYC, I definitely have a different experience getting a haircut compared to up here in Plymouth. Still, these barbers know what theyre doing and can cut my haircut fairly well. Still havent found the right barber yet, but its close enough. I certainly have no problem coming here every two weeks. But come early or expect a line.. it gets pretty busy.

They forgot about me. I made an appointment over phone, and then on the day I went there at the time and I waited outside and... nothing happened. No one called me. Waste of my time.

Its the busiest place in town go early and have the rest of the day to show off a great haircut

I went into a shop in Laconia this morning and was greeted with a look of death along with a very rude attitude. I left and drove to Plymouth to come to turnage. Toby was my barber and he was great. He greeted me with a smile and professional service exactly the way you would expect. I will definitely be back to see him again.

Quite friendly at first, and can definitely cut certain hair. I showed a picture for some kind of reference to the length as I didnt know which it was. When it was about and inch and a half off I simply said can I have a bit more off the top? And I showed I different picture of that. After saying That doesnt show me anything, its not gonna tell me what length it is. He continued to rush through the rest of my cut while looking away every few seconds. My side burns werent even horizontal. His name was Rob.Dont expect much more than simple. And folks with curly hair, dont expect much. I can only speak truly about the barber that I had. Im sure he gives some great cuts, but if I were you I wouldnt take the chance. Seems like he doesnt care. As far as the others.. they were producing some nice fresh cuts from what I saw. My mistake.I actually received the BEST haircut of my LIFE here from Dave. He knew what he was doing and was nice and helpful. Im not sure if he works there still. He is the reason I came back, and this experience is the reason Im never going back again.Three stars because its a decent place for a cut considering the price, but the range of quality and kindness between the barbers is astounding.

I have been going to Turnage Barber Shop for over ten years now. Even when I left the state for college, I would still wait and let my hair grow out so that I could still get my hair cut here when I returned home for visit . The prices are more than reasonable for the service provided, there are normally 3-4 barbers at a time so the wait is typically less than 30 minutes, and the environment is the friendly sort of place deserving of returned customers.

Ive been to seemingly every hair place in the area including Walmart and the Turnage Barber Shop is the best Ive found. They give you a great hair cut, dont keep you waiting, and the price is one of the lowest around. Dont waste your time and money... if youre a dude go to Turnage Barber shop.
