My favorite fuel station! Ethanol free gas at the pump! Thank you very much for carrying this fuel! Plus, its full service and they pump your fuel for you!
Very very rude owner and employees. Refuses to give money stolen from my husband even though we have proof and witnesses and documented paperwork of it. When called to address it they hung up twice and owner very rude and ignorant. Police have documented the crime. They should be shutdown and ordered to pay everyone back that this business has stolen and scammed from.
Great service and attention to details. I highly recommend them.
Great service! Highly recommended!
Made sure they fixed car for sticker so we are safe
Great service would recommend
Kirks has my elderly neighbors car for 6 months now (since February). Everytime he calls he is told theyre waiting on another part. My elderly neighbor is paying car payments and insurance for 6 months now. Kirks has collected insurance payments for accident already. He was told it was painted and he could have it yesterday. He was once again carless. If my neighbor gets charged extra for their taking all this time to provide him with his completely fixed car, I will aid him in seeking legal support.
Paid $375 dollars for a tow from Kirk’s. The shop is a cesspool of filth, and I felt like I needed a hot shower and seven Hail Mary’s after being in the shop. Call Arnold’s or DC Towing, their service will be 10,000 times better, and they won’t take your whole paycheck with a smile.
Absolutely terrible service!! Customer service is the worst I have ever encountered!!! I would push my vehicle somewhere before I would ever have them provide a tow again!!! Use anyone but Kirks!!!!!!
Very helpful people
Garbage place, do not recommend. They essentially stole my friends car out of our lots parking lot. They took her parking pass that she had hanging in her car which allowed us to park in the lot since we are residents. Then they charged her (a college student keep in mind) an absorbent amount to get her car back. And screamed at her when she tried to negotiate a payment strategy. They tried to take another one of my friends cars who also had a parking permit too but they luckily stopped them before they could get to it.
So thankful to them for helping us with our friends camper. Very nice people
Nice people, good service
Extremely rude staff and overpriced. The owner drove five minutes from his shop to lift my vehicle with his truck so I could change the tire. Yes, I did all the work. He charged me $200 to stand there and watch me. I asked why it was so expensive and he said, It cost $200 just to put my truck on the road. I have friends back at home that tow for a living. Thats the worst excuse Ive ever heard. Not to mention I waited almost an hour for the cashier. Rude and ignorant staff. They shouldnt be in business.
Took 2 hours to get my oils changed and tires rotated. Not returning here for any service
An Eclectic place. Nice people, interesting office area.
I watched as his workers loaded up a vehicle to be towed and left the doors wide open. As they merged on to the highway items were flying out of vehicle making it hazardous for anyone driving by or following behind at a 3+car distance. Would not ever let them touch my vehicle.
Kirks is a very poor excuse of a business. What a complete joke. Called them the evening before the day I wanted a f-550 towed from Campton,nh to Andover,nh not exactly a short tow. They said yes they could tow it first thing in the morning, 9:30am rolls around and nothing so I call them. Dispatch advises she will call the driver and get rite back to me with a time. 12pm rolls around still nothing so I call again she still doesn’t know what’s going on and was extremely rude. She finally called me at 1:30pm and says “I forgot to call you but the driver should be pulling in any minute”. I told her to pound sand I had gotten sick of waiting around not knowing if the truck would even be moved. I had called Arnold’s towing out of Lincoln,nh they were extremely pleasant got rite back to me with a time and not even an hour later the driver had called and told me he was on his way. They were cheaper and extremely better service.
Scam . They not only RIP off people on tows but embezzle money from their employees checks thats due for child support. The lowest kind of low . Stealing from children . They should be in jail. And maybe will be come April 😒
I rent an apartment near PSU, and in the apartments lease there are specifications about parking and allowing guests to park on areas owned by the landlord--anybody without a parking tag can be towed if a tenant calls them in. I had to take a friend to the hospital today, and stepped out of my house only to find that my car was parked in by someone without a parking tag. I called Kirks and was initially given an estimated wait time of 1.5 hours. I borrowed my roommates car to take my friend to the hospital, and when I returned four hours later, the car blocking me was still there.Subsequently, I called Kirks again and was admittedly a little frustrated, the woman who answered the phone (a different woman from the first time) told me she was sorry, and that she would relay my request to one of the drivers.Another hour went by, and I called again. This time, the same woman who answered the phone the first time picked up with a nasty tone of voice and told me that the driver had come by my house and didnt see the car I described, so he left. I explained to her that the car was very much still there, and she gave me a flippant tone and proceeded to tell me that the driver was out on another call, and hung up on me.My car, at this point, has been parked in for approximately six hours--four and a half hours longer than the original wait time Id been quoted. After half an hour went by and there was still no sign of any improvement, and my car remained blocked in, I called again. The same woman as last time picked up, and was extremely rude to me without paying any heed to the issue that I had now been putting up with for SIX AND A HALF HOURS.Twenty minutes after the last call ended, the driver showed up--but by this time the car I had called about had been moved. I spoke to the driver briefly, explaining the situation, and he was absolutely lovely to talk to--very respectful, understanding of how livid I was with the unacceptable wait time and positively nasty treatment Id endured by the woman on the phone.I am absolutely dumbfounded that the receptionist who answered 3/4 of my calls is permitted to answer phones when she is so disrespectful and downright nasty to people who call seeking assistance. If it wasnt for the kindness of the driver who arrived, I would NEVER use this company again (though because they seem to have a contract with my landlord, there doesnt seem to be any way for me to escape this). In short: the receptionist is absolutely atrocious. The driver I met with seemed very nice and willing to help, and it wasnt his fault that the issue simply wasnt communicated to him in a timely manner. If you need to call Kirks for towing services, dont be upset with the driver who arrives if its been a long wait, its likely he just didnt know about your call at all.
Called AAA for tow truck at 8:45am. Advised stuck on steep driveway. ETA kept changing last one was at 1115am.We walked 1/2 mile back up hill to house as AAA stated tow company (KURTS TRUCKING AND AUTO) would CALL when they were close. Guess they showed up,left and refused call. Not recommended if you need help. A simple courteous phone call would have gone a long way.
Good service great job fixing my car drove it home 4 hours no problem thanks
I own a local landscape company and when a truck goes down it can be devastating to my company. Having said that I had a duramax blow an injector 2 weeks before snow started rolling in and was in a bind, kirks got me in and did a great job of getting me going again in a reasonable amount of time and a reasonable amount of money. During this winter my f550 got stuck in a clients driveway due to large snowdrifts, kirks pulled me out and got me on my way once again!
Ive been bringing my vehicles to Kirks for years. They do good work and have reasonable prices. A good mechanic is hard to find.
Dont let them tow your vehicle and God forbid its because of an accident!! My mothers car, and she wasnt even the one driving it at the time, they charged her $195+$75/day storage... to park at their garage beside the road!! End result, she had to pay the$195 just to get her things out and gave them the car, the bill was over $1000 in less than 2 weeks! Their website says they treat customers like family? HA!! Id hate to be related to them! She might have become a customer and had her car fixed there if they hadnt taken advantage of her, they KNEW she could not afford to pay that! Looking at these reviews I cant understand why this place is even still in business! Disgusting!!
I would like to send a huge thank you out to George Kirk and the entire crew at Kirks truck and auto. We had one of our oil trucks break down in Norton, Vt, 4 miles from Canada. I made one call to them and they dropped everything and headed right out. Thank you for great service time and time again.
Very friendly service... got me out of a bind when my vehicle died. Accommodated me with a ride to and from their shop so that the work could be performed, and had me back on the road within a day. I will use them whenever I need service in the area. Thank you to George and his staff.
Great service and very knowledgeable
I have called them 6 times over the past week to make an appointment. Each time the receptionist said they look up the tires and call me right back. No way Im going to let them work on my car now if they cant give a simple call back for an appointment. What shoddy business practices. Trust the other reviews and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
I was told I would get a free estimate on my car, and that theybwouldnt do any paid work wothout my consent. When I told them I was not going to do the job with them, they became very rude very quickly and charged a $40 diagnostics fee citing that the estimate is free but the diagnostics are not. My vehicle broke down while I was on an out of state trip and the tow truck AAA sent suggested I bring the car to Kirks. I did some research upon getting home and saw that they have a bad reputation, (not to mention an F rating from the Better Business Bureau) so I decided to have the car towed elsewhere, and they refused to let the truck on property till I paid their phony charge, and that on top of that they couldnt accept a credit card payment over the phone and that I would have to come up from Rhode Island to pay them in person before releasing my vehicle. Total nightmare and bad business ethic, I would avoid using them at all costs and beware, if your car ends up here, one way or another theyll find a way to charge you for it.
Had my truck towed there transmission leaking after a week said it was ok went to pick it up OIL pouring out of transmission they said needs new transmission ok one month later put in New transmission took it home 4 thousand dollars later transmission still leaking fluid never took it back afraid of truck being destroyed?? ALSO SAID THE TRUCK WOULD BE DONE IN A WEEK
Took forever to fix the car and was expensive
Nice manger but the parking lot looks like a junk yard.
They suck never have anything in stock and the parts person doesnt know anything
Awful people. All they care about is money and take advantage of college students. They are nothing but scum bags, probably the absolute worst auto company.
Fast response and fixed the truck on site. Hero of the day!
Very shady place avoid at all costs, they add things to bills without asking and are rude when you question it.
Such great service! I was in a jam and they came through big time.
Repaired my brake lines for $650 over a few days, but returned my car to me with my left turn signal broken and the low wiper fluid sensor not working. Small problems compared to brakes, but I dont know why an auto repair place who test drove my car would return my car to me with new problems.
Awesome service
Kirks Cycles has a great mechanic
I was charged $330. because I parked in a bad spot in Plymouth. They literally towed it 150 feet from where it was and wouldnt budge on lowering the price. Total scum bags.
Never been but Im sure its a nice place
Terrible company...
Total ripoffs, stay away from them
Very helpful
Friendly people
